Hi there, well I reached the finale! After summer ended I've been really busy so I wasn't able to play as much as I'd like to, and most of my free time was at a time everyone here was sleeping so that certainly didn't help. Still I managed to reach this stage and it wasn't because of luck. It certainly wasn't because of challenge performance either, I only managed to win the first part of the final HoH challenge and I was part of the winning team at the art challenge, every other challenge I screwed up and I'm sure I was selected to participate in all of them! Anyways, I managed to reach this far because I played a good social game. At cycle 2 I allied myself with Stussy, Mansherry and Oars, then Stussy sacrificed herself at cycle 3 but Oars, Mansherry and myself remained allied. Everytime one of them was HoH I was safe, if someone else won HoH then I was sure to be nominated but they always managed to channel the votes to the other nominee. So far, I did nothing special to stay in the game, I simply found myself in a good alliance. Then Moriah was nominated and he sent Oars a huge amount of PMs with Bellamy that seemed to suggest mansherry was playing us all along and that she had another alliances. I didn't trust Moriah and didn't want my alliance to break but I also had my doubts about Mansherry, so I tried to convince Oars to follow the plan and evict Moriah, we could deal with her later. But then Oars assured me he could convince everyone (except Mansherry) to evict Ryuu instead, it seemed impossible to evict Moriah so I voted for Ryuu too. That meant our alliance with Mansherry broke, later Moriah would take her place but for now I was in danger if she became HoH. At this point I realized my best chance to win this game would be to reach a final two with either Octopako or Bellamy, so I tried my best for that to happen. I inmediately PM'd mansherry and told her absolutely everything that went down at Ryuu's eviction, I also promised her I would help her evict Moriah and Oars. I wanted her to trust me, I failed... but I put myself into a better position, she told me she mistrusted everyone else more than me and also wanted to evict Moriah and Oars. Next cycle she became HoH she nominated me and Oars, Oars saved himself at veto and that was troublesome for her because she didn't want me to get evicted. So she asked me which nominee replacement would be more likely to get voted out instead of me, I told her my opinions about every possible option and she ended up choosing Bellamy. Everyone or almost everyone voted for Bellamy I seem to remember. However, now I needed Octopako to survive if I wanted a good shot at winning. Next cycle Oars became HoH, the nominees were Mansherry and Octopako. Mansherry tried to sway me and Moriah into voting Octopako but I didn't want Octopako to get voted out. There was no way out for her, so I decided to tell Oars everything and vote her out. This way I keep Oars as a good and powerful ally. Now only Oars, Moriah, Octopako and myself remain in the game, getting a final two with Octopako means I need to evict both Oars and Moriah. BTW Oars is really good at challenges so winning the final HOH would be extremely difficult with him around. I decided this was the best time if I were to follow my plan, I tried my best a HoH but Moriah won, nominating me and Octopako. But wait If I win POV that's even better because I get the only vote. I tried my very best at POV but Oars won. Octopako was out. it's time for final HoH, I know Moriah would readily evict me and I don't want that to happen. Oars has been a very good ally and at this point I win nothing evicting him. So I decide to win final HOH, honor my alliance with Oars by evicting Moriah and improve my challenge performance. I win the first part and Oars wins the second part, therefore Moriah can't play in the third part. Even though the outcome would have been the same if I had won, I wasn't entirely sure oars hadn't been convinced by Moriah to take him to final 2 so I wasn't giving up without a fight. Then oars wins against me at part three and he evicts Moriah out and here we are. I'd like to apologize to Oars for trying to backstab him when it seemed I could take Octopako to the final two because he has trusted me a lot throughout the whole game, but still, it was my best shot at winning and I would have acted the same way if I could go back in time . I want you to note that even though I've been nominated a lot in this game I always was barely in danger. I'm not here just because of luck and Oars didn't simply carry me here with his strong arms. Otherwise I would be reading pleas instead of writing my own one, most definetily as jury member number 2. |
