Well the best way i can describe it is D&D, a roleplaying game, if you've ever played say....Knights of the old republic, or Mass Effect, or even better final fantasy, expect that you only control the one character, the rest of the players control the others and the Gm, controls the world. Weather the Gm controls the game from what i've heard kinda depends on the players ![]() Its both somewhat different and somewhat to the skirmish game. Just think of prettty much any standard video game RPG you've ever played, and you've pretty much got what this will be, the best example i can give off the top of my head would be something like Baulders gate, Icewind Dale, and Knights of the old republic off the top of my head as those actully use AD&D rules in their gameplay. As for the difference between warmachine, hordes and IK, well the IK is the nickname group of kingdoms the story of the Warmachine and Hordes books take place in. and thats about it, game mechinc wise they're all different as well. but thats a given. |
