Thank you very much for this space Master ShadowDragon. I'm sure we'll make judicial use of it. Welcome to this new space on the Forum, Players, post up your characters, ideas, story, blah, fluff, stuff...You can create your own posts for your characters. I will be adding things periodically, especially once the campaign gets moving. We can use the Forum private posts, but please remember that the DM sees all. If I send a message PM to one of you, then it will remain between the DM and the Character. If you send a PM to another Character/Player, the DM gets a copy, okay. This keeps me in the loop, no nasty surprises for me means no nasty surprises for you, see! When posting please include either your Player name, or Character name at the top of the post, then we all know if you are 'in character' or not. Or use a seperate post for your Character, and for you as the Player. I will add a diverse range of stuff that I think is pertinent to the campaign, be it side-plot, personal quest or main story. We can use this area to bounce ideas, figure stuff out and communicate as Characters & DM outside of the gaming table. This can prove to be very useful and will help to build story and characters. As your Characters move up in Levels you may want to build or make things (items) be they Mechanica or Arcana. To be able to make it, you must convince me that you can, either through explainations or sketches, this may greatly influence the upcoming dice rolls for the skill checks that you would need to make. The more you can put into the thought of your character and their equipment, etc the more real they are for all, and the better experience point totals you'll get. Use this space to put forward future ideas as you build your characters. To add a layer of intrigue into your characters, please don't share Alignment, political views, etc, issues. Treat the other characters as you would in 'real life', keep hidden that which you don't want others to know. You don't need to know all the stats and points of the other players to believe in their acrobatics or strength, see it happen in the game, and believe. Likewise if your character has a quirk, or a 'pet hate', a skeleton in the closet, etc. then keep it to yourself. Let me into the sub-plot and I'll play with it for you, making it all more real and confusing! The more you give me to work with, the more I'll give back to your character. Have fun!!!!

Hi guys, I'm agreeing with Tim on something, I'm going with Five Fingers as a starting point for the game. There are many reasons, including the fact that all races and peoples seem tolerated, if not accepted. Since you all insist on having diverse characters (it always seems to happen!) and Five Fingers is the melting pot of Immoren, it'll work better. You'll get a look at the Iron Kingdoms from a 'neutral' location first. This will help your characters to survive long enough to get skills and training etc before heading out into the 'wild' world at large. I will not restrict the game, but it's cool to have a 'base' area where you can return to. One thing you all can do for me is to post your own take (story) on how you came to Five Fingers, and 'how' (the way in which you travelled) you got there. It doesn't have to be extensive, just a few lines to give me some ideas. I know where to go once we're up and running, but getting an atypical party to become cohesive is not easy. Thanks G

It has been years since I've done any RPG but this sounds very interesting. I'm not to sure as to when this will all kick off but I'd like to sit in now and again and see how this plot unfolds. The way Gelfin is unfolding the game it's like reading a book and I can't wait to get the next chapter. Keep the good work Gelf.
