OK! Andy nice to see your back!

Anyone up for some BFG battles on the 20th now that the Apocalypse game has been postponed?

When the campaign is done, I'm going to build a Chaos BFG fleet, so will definitely be up for some BFG games at some point.

Would there be any interest in some sort of BFG campaign in the not too distant future?

Good to see you back too Andy - are you going to bring your Imperial Fists to the Xergev Apocalypse game on July 18th? You can bring your Drop Pods, don't worry ;) :D

Anyone up for a couple of Battlefleet Gothic battles on Saturday (20th June)? I'll bring a couple of fleets if anyone wants a demo.

I am up for that demo please,i am meeting EtM to finalise the deal for some SM's then as well. EDIT : Brilliant Demo game of BFG last night, many thanks to Rich for all his advice and Ade for being my worthy opponent. It was great fun and i found out i can roll 6's when i need them.Any pointy-eared Eldar out there had better watch out for Imperial Ram/Boarding actions, they work very well indeed.

I agree it was a great game. Started out pretty normal - two opposing cruiser groups head towards each other, offloading ordnance as they came. Then the craziness started.... First a lucky bomber run wiped out the command desk of Pedro's cruiser. Then junior midshipman Jones decides to go full speed ahead ramming speed and smashes into my cruiser, crippling it but failing to board it. Then my second cruiser following up decided to ram the rammer, causing that to go super-nova. That sent debris smashing into the back of my original crippled ship, sending that super-nova as well (I hope you are following this :'( )----which then sent debris back into my ramming ship, destroying it and sending it into a burning hulk.....

...at that point both cruiser groups limped off into space.

great fun, thanks Scriptus!

It was a great game last time. I hope there are a few fleets out there to follow up that skirmish on Saturday.

They'll be a couple of imperial flotilas waiting around and I heard a rumour there might be some of those pesky eldar about.

Fantastic game last night.Although Captain Mainwaring did have a lot of explaining to do,losing his flagship and all.The pointy-eared pirates of the Eldar craftworld were annihalated (sp?) but the renegade SM's were proving too much for his depleted fleet.Considering discretion the better part of valour,he took what remained of his fleet and got under way for repairs and rebuilding of the badly mauled fleet.THE RENEGADES will pay for what they did another time, they could count on it....
