I have the Tale of 4 Gamers in WD and it says Regal Blue and Midnight Blue.But now i dont think they have a Midnight Blue and i dont know what to use with the Regal.Can anybody help ?On another note i will be posting my progress ( if any ) on my Fists Army and my FoW germans.At the moment my SM's first troops and my HQ choice are " a work in progress " being under construction,i intend to purchase my HQ Units for my FoW army this week,being a couple of panzer IV F's and a PzGren HQ with 1 or 2 add-ons.Anyway,as i say i will post any and all progress here,no pics though,i have no way of putting them up.

try the foundation paint mordian blue then give it a weak black wash or a dark blue wash to give it that darker colour, although gelf will propably have the best solution to your probs |

Cheers Cam,i will keep that in mind,any help gratefully received.Gelfin,you have been recommended by Cam so i look forward to an tips you are able to give.Ok please could someone help me,i have tried a few methods now to get the dark blue i want for my SM's and none have worked.If anyone out there has any ideas or has a pot or two of midnight blue i could purchase then they/it will be greatly appreciated.Panic over,i now know how i will be mixing up my SM's colour and i have my panzer and Pzgren HQ on order with symon,plus two platoons of panzer to make up my compulsery (sp?) troops.

Woohoo,finally found out what paints i needed for my SM's,couldn't stop jumping round and round my small flat for some time.Have tried the mix on my Termie from WD and it looks great.Can now move on with my 2 Tac squads and my Scouts + my Assault team.On a FoW note,i will be picking up my starter force for my panzers next saturday. |

Had a slight change of plan,trying to fit my painting round my shift work is harder than i thought it would be.Anyway,im now working on my Chapter Master, Tac squad,Scouts and Rhino,EDIT:the tracks were a right bugger to fit but i got there and its looking great.Due to new releases in FoW,i should pick up my HQ and compulsery(sp?) troops early this coming week and maybe a little extra if something grabs my attention.

Damn,4 weeks since i last had any frakking progress,have now got a Transport/Troop choice and HQ unit 99% ready.Work to start on my 2nd Troop choice ASAP.FoW...I have all necessary units to create the compulsory troop choices for Panzers and Grenadiers,as yet no progress to report  .Hordes ( see previous comment )

Now this may well be a small thing for a lot of people in the hobby ( i have looked at some peoples work and want to be even half as good ) but having just run a wash over my weapons and filled in the eye pieces of my SM's,i was very happy.It just leaves my transport and 1 troop choice to be varnished.My second troop is 90% assembled ( just the Heavy Weapon to put together ) and awaiting undercoat.

I will definately be running ( straight towards your commander,to plant a big red power fist on the top of his head ). But yes,it will be soon,then my Crimson Fist will strike down upon the enemies of the Emperor with great vengeance and furious anger,those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers in the Emperors grace.

Right,its official,i hate painting flesh colours.My scouts don't look too bad ( as long as you are far,far away ).Progress wise,the compulsory troops just need the bases prettying up and then its just varnishing.The commander still needs a little here and there,not bad for my first,but not what i imagined i would do.Anywhooo,i am nearly there and my Fast Attack will be next,Soul Drinkers,Purple death from above.

For flesh colourstry picking up some tallern flesh(best flesh colour ever, only needs a tiny watering down and then it does you good for one maaaybe two coats), then wash lightly with some flesh wash. |

Tallern, one of the...erm foundation paints, is about the flesh colour ever made imo. Pick up some p3 paint range flesh wash, us it lightly, or strongly and then drybrush over, and you'll get the desired result |

Many thank again SD for the Flesh paint advice and i will soon(ish) have a Heavy Support and another Fast Attack choice thanks to EtM or should that now be EdM. |
