Hi, Popeman posted this on the Suffolk Wargaming Forums, I thought some of the folk at our neck of the woods might be interested:

November 28th 2009 will witness the first Lord of the Rings tournament at the club.

You will need to bring both 500 points Evil and 500 points Good armies.

The scenarios will be randomly chosen for each table on the night and taken from the Legions of Middle Earth book.

Will start at 1830hrs on the night and 3 rounds at 1 hour each.
15 min intervals in between rounds to work out new opponents and scenarios for each table.
1830 to 1930
1945 to 2045
2100 to 2200

Points system as follows:
Major Victory - 3
Minor Victory - 2
Draw - 1

Models don't have to be painted but normal Legion WGC rules apply. (Legion Rules Page)

The club has an age limit of 16+

Cost of the tournament is the usual £4 entrance fee for the club.
