Jon, Robbie

We were talking about this last Saturday; I was just reading up on new Blood Bowl and ended up at the official NAF website. This is what it says about the current rules (CRP aka LRB6):

"....We have been the most popular source for finding the official BB rules since they were removed from the GW website in Spring 2014, but GW have asked us to remove them in anticipation of the new rules being released, so that players who are new to the game do not get confused.

The CRP will continue to be used at NAF tournaments until further notice, but the document will be removed from thenaf.net at the end of June 2016, as it is a GW document. Therefore please do download it for personal use before then."

But according to the NAF the rules are not changing (significantly) for the re release. So if you want a free copy before you have to pay GW for them go download them before the end of the month.

Nice, always had a soft spot for the crimson fists ever since they were the poster boys of Rogue Trader :)

I thought the same thing - perhaps that was a 2nd ed thing that was ditched in 3rd ed? I played more 2nd than 3rd so would explain why I remembered it.

Just looked at some old sets on ebay evilbay - was indeed the case. In 2nd, Orcs and humans were identical, each had 5 player types - blocker, blitzer, linesman, catcher, thrower.

3rd edition saw human team lose blockers, while orc teams lost catchers and also blockers became black orcs.

Noooooooo :$ . I am tied up in my massive KS, my wallet has no way to get in the pre-order. I will have to see about getting it as a " new years present " for myself.

Gutted. Lower pledge to MB:P (the horror!) to free up some £££ then add to your pledge in the pledge manager which I guess will be after New Year?

Just got more details from a retailer: £65 RRP (best price seen so far is £52, i.e. 20% off), releases 25/11/16

That's very true sir. Even through my rose tinted glasses, this KS does appear a bit of a money grabber. I will look into it, it's probably the best solution.

So who's preordering from midnight tonight? And if so, where from? Best price I've seen is £52 = 20% off (plus postage), think that was from an independent retailer so reckon the big boys will be about the same.

Going to have to be this option for me, even spreading costs and tinkering with my pledge ( between now and the PM ). There is just so much beautiful stuff in the KS.
