Hi Connor. The "Scuttlebutt" that i have been getting is that there is a good chance that GW will be bringing out a Spacemarine v Orc Battle set and a new Marine codex..but they dont say what chapter....the BIG RUMOUR is the new 40k rule book which seems to be raising its head all over the forums.....so far GW contacts on all the forums have been denying this ..but so many people cant be wrong. <_< Captn Stevo |

New rumours are abound at the moment..but hear a few SOLID ones for everyone to think about .1 An all new medium tank which will come in between the predator and landraider 2. Landspeeder transports for scout troops I've been hearing of a tank for awhile but this is the first time I've heard that it will weigh in between the 2 mentioned above. The landspeeder transports are in line with the new GW approach to marines for 5th edition, which is to make marines more of a strike force than a static army. It seems games designers want to align marines more with the Fluff - small mobile forces that pin point targets, eliminate them, then get the hell out of dodge, leaving clean up for the IG. Plastic droppods will finally come out to coincide with the new codex. Also army traits are gone but are instead linked to the force commander ie. take a particular armies force commander who has furious charge, then your army has furious charge, making them XYZ Chapter. This is to encourage players to take force commanders instead/in addition of the chaplains or Librarians. If i hear anything else i will post it up. Captain Stevo

These marine rumours are very exciting. Any ideas on the name for the new tank? I always take a commander mainly for the ld. The transport for scouts sounds great, maybe more will use scouts. 2pts less more options for guns apart from snipers marines seem the better option. So maybe its to get them on the table. Cant wait to find out. |

I like the sound of that, Glancing hits shouldn't be able to wipe out Predator or Land Raider tanks. Makes them alot tougher to destroy so all for that. |

Hi Guys. Here are the latest rumours for 40K Starter Box set. Captain with powerfist Tactical Squad Terminator Squad (possibly "just a couple" instead of a full squad) Dreadnought (only 2 pieces!?!) ~Some or all of the models have been hinted at having Ultramarines iconography Orks: Warboss Twenty Ork boyz (like the four man Ork boys set) Twenty Grotz Three Deff Koptas ~ Two things guys; 1) Returning the basic boxed set to Marines vs Orks makes the universe seem right. 2) Plastic Dreadnought, Warboss, Deffcoptas! Holy Moly!!! Have fun "chewing over" these new tasty treats!!! Captain Stevo. |

That sounds good but we already have the Battle for Macragge set. If you only got a couple of the Terminator pieces, a nomal squad is five, would you be able to buy the others seperate to make the numbers up? Would be cool though! |
