Lost Boy Nashville, TN Off Cam So many thanks to Cory for the help! The roaring sound of the dirt bike engine cut out as they came to a small man made pond, the water looked surprisingly clear, as the moonlight glistened off the small ripples that the filters made. “I can’t believe how bright it is out here still,” Jonas’ voice was filtered through the helmet as he climbed off the dirt bike and started to undo his helmet. The last two weeks had been pretty close to hell for the redhead, staying away from his new house in Nashville, and getting some much needed help to steady out his medication for his severe ADHD. Finally he pushed the helmet to the top of his head, letting it rest there, “Beautiful ain’t it.” The sound of the other vehicle's engine cut out and the rider looked around a moment before pulling off the helmet, her long dark hair held back in a ponytail to avoid getting in her face during the ride. “Holy shit it’s gorgeous, you made this?” Asked the woman. Sadie, a girl Jonas met up with not too long ago and as the first girl he hadn’t banged the first time they met, there was a certain bond growing. “Nah,” he smiled, “Just my favorite place to hang out really, and cause Niamh doesn’t like the dirt bikes all that much, she’s not been out here since we moved in.” The redhead shrugged and took a seat by the water, “It’s like my very own neverland and I could be a Peter Pan, just dye your hair blonde and you could be my tink.” Pausing a moment he looked up at the girl, “Scratch that he’s a teen boy on the verge of puberty, who hasn’t realized the amazing benefits of sex.” “Forever to be a preteen with that poor fairy begging to bone him” She laughed and walked over to take a seat beside him with a sigh. “Funny, haven’t driven one of these since I was a kid but it’s like second nature. I can see why you like it so much. Like when I dance, I’m out of my head and I can lose myself in the moment.” Yeah so maybe ‘dance’ wasn’t exactly tap or jazz. Sadie shrugged and chuckled a moment. “It’s nice here Jonas. Does it help? Clear your head I mean.” The wrestler nodded ever so slightly, “Kinda... it’s kinda better than banging a hundred different chick during the month,” So, yes that was a little exaggeration, “Also lets me get lost in my mind, and well with everything recently... that’s a very good thing.” He was mostly talking about the blowups with his ex girlfriend Dahlia, and his best friend. “I hate fighting with pretty women, I hate being told what I’ve done is wrong when it’s the only thing that’s actually felt right, and I hate being the one suffering when I know they’re hurt too...” He sighed again, as the waves licked his feet, “So I come out here, and either sit or take a swim, it’s like a massive pool really.” “It’s like you can get away from the noise and let your mind relax. My...” Sadie stopped a moment and took a breath. “My ex liked doing that a lot. She’d often to look out over the water, god knows there’s a lot of water back in Amsterdam. Just let her mind clear, like some kind of aquatic zen or something. I totally understand.” She gave a little smile as she sat with the ginger wrestler. He put his arm around her gently, nothing romantic, but he was still Jonas and he always craved a physical connection, “I’ve been so busy with life, that I’ve lost touch of what really matters to me. I feel like I’m always almost under siege for what I’ve said or done, that I’ve almost ignored the fact that I have a big match coming up. I’ve been dodging Niamh, and I’ve been trying to dial back Dahlia, and for all the crazy in my life, I have a freekin’ psycho trying to take my balls for hitting on her girl.” He hung his head a bit. “Hopefully I can finally kick the crazy to the curb.” He sighed. “So maybe you need to focus, to take it one thing at a time. The crazy who wants to cut your balls off first, then worry about your friend and ex? Problem is, when things get said whether pushed by withdrawal and stress still hurt. As I’m sure you know, it’s not just you who has said things after all I’d imagine.” Sadie said softly. “But yes, kick the crazy first.” “I’d rather be clear of mind when I finally sit down with Niamh, it’s killing me that I don’t want to be around her cause it hurts. I’d rather be KO’d by Lollipop than face her right now. I’ve been a bitch lately, I know I have.” The redhead sighed again, “but it will be fun to beat out a bit of frustration and make them realize I am alpha! And not just a little lost boy.” “Everyone is a bitch at one point or another.” She laughed a little. “We all fuck up and we all have our problems, but it’s about moving forward and if you regret some things you’ve done then doing what you can to patch it up. Plus y’know, beating up a psycho bitch helps too. Though I prefer fucktard personally, has a great ring to it.” Jonas chuckled too, smiling at her, a smile only Sadie could bring out right now, “How do you do it?” She gave him a curious look. “Do what? The sass? It’s genetic I think.” “How do you make me feel so normal?” He sighed holding her gently, “I mean, Dahlia showed me it was okay to kinda open up and love someone, Niamh is my best friend and supports me regardless, and you... You’re just you, you accept my flaws, and kinda encourage my insanity.” Sadie gave a shrug. “I’m a stripper and I’ve seen, and done, some weird shit in my day. Everyone's fucked up, Jonas. That’s the trick you see. Some people think they’re normal and other people are fucked up, but in reality we’re all a bunch of loons trying to fit in. I get it, in fact I went through hell when I lost ...when I lost her. Being alone was weird and wrong and I was so angry. But you need to accept things, and the things you can’t accept just don’t let them eat you. But if you can’t accept someone else’s flaws you can’t accept your own either.” Sadie looked out over the water. “You, me, Niamh, your ex, even the psycho who you’re gonna kick the crap out of. We’re all fucked up, just differently. What kind of person would I be if I didn’t treat you like an equal. Treat you normal. After all I’m fucked up too.” Their friendship allowed him to lean his head on her shoulder like a kid, “You word things the way no others could, you make things seem like so black and white in the random shades of grey that I live in. Lollipop rains down chaos, as you make sure the waters stay calm. That’s what I like about you.” He looked at her, “I’m trying to please everyone, and forgetting to focus on me. I’ve given up so much, and I miss some of it too.” He sighed again, “I don’t miss the random women, but I do miss the touching ya know, the closeness, the being a perv when I can be and thrusting myself into other guys gals.” He paused and gave a weird look, “Ok not like that perv!” She burst out laughing. “Pervy!” Her tone relaxed and playful, not a hint of judgement in it. “See, that’s what you need to remember. Nobody is always ok, or ‘normal’ even. But sometimes all you need to do is remind yourself of what’s going on, wrangle in the crazy and you’re ok. God knows I have to do it a lot myself.” He nodded hugged her with his one arm, “Care to be a little crazy? He smirked the seriousness kinda bumming him out slightly. “I just said crazy isn’t that bad, yeah go for it. Though I wouldn’t recommend swimming in there, it’s way too cold still.” Sadie laughed. He stood up and took off his shirt, before picking her up and threatening to toss her in, “You could tell me how cold it is...” “No, no, no, no nononono....” She wiggled but also clung to him not wanting to fall in. “How about not throwing me in the water and doing something else, like...else...or something...” He chuckled and put her to her feet diving into the shallow water and letting out a gasp, she was right it was cold, but it was also refreshing, and he needed it, especially with the upcoming match and all the drama in his life, splashing some water at her he laughed, all his worries went away when he was here, almost like the lost boy that he was, the world faded into Neverland. |
