Bella's "Ability"; What do you think it will be?

Betting on Alice Posts: 441 Group: Members Member #1,313 Joined: June 26, 2007	So I've been thinking about Bella when (I'm not even going to say if) becomes a vampire. I want to know what Bella will "take with her", if you will. Even if she doesn't have a special ability like Edward's mind reading, Jasper's emotion control, or Alice's seeing the future, she could still take something alone like Esme's love, Emmett's strength, or Rose's beauty/pig headedness. One that I thought would be funny (yet very HIGHLY unlikely, all things considering), would be Bella's aversion to blood. A vampire that get sick at the sight of blood? It would be funny, but there's no way it would work. So, what do you think Bella's enhanced ability will be?

Posts: 2,039 Group: Special Edition - Member Member #1,116 Joined: April 13, 2007	hmmm idk maybe the 1st not graceful vamp. or her understanding. cause if u can b understanding w/ vamps hating ww & ww hating vamps than i think thats saying something. or even being around vamps when at any moment could kill you. another think is bravery. i mean vamps are already brave but she has a lot of it now. idk just random ideas i thought of.

Because how many people do you know that would just nod their head when they find out the man they are in love with is a vampire? And then find out your best friend is a werewolf? That would be scary. I don't know about bravery though. Wouldn't that just make her reckless, if it was vampire-intensified, wouldn't it? Hmm.. I dunno.

Well, Rouge actually kinda sucks the life-force out of a person; nearly kills them when she takes their powers... but yeah, I see what you're getting at. I just think she'll be able to block things with her mind. Like, even prevent Edward from hearing other people's thoughts, if she wanted to.

Posts: 2,810 Group: Staff Member #117 Joined: May 12, 2006	Well, I think that since we've always known that mental things don't affect Bella, and seeing how in Eclipse it was mentioned how Aro was really interested in Bella's ability to not be 'penetrated', I think that will be her asset. Think about it, Bella will be strong as a vampire, like the others. If they come into contact with Jane controlling them with her "mind Pain thing" then Bella can rescue them because she will be the only one not 'tied up' in pain. :D I just think not being affected is her ability and her mind will be like a steel trap against foes. Plus, she is somewhat of a 'sacrificial' person and she would be willing to be the "third wife" to save her family.

Just a thought......but might just decide to keep her human b/c Bella can't reconcile herself to losing the "human" aspects of her life. But if I'm wrong and Bella does in fact have Edward change her, she will probably continue being resistant to mind control from others.
