I don't know if there already is one of these, I didn't see one thought. Just thought this would be a good idea. There is one on another forum I belong to and it gets used a lot. It went away once and everyone freaked and it was back up less than a minute later. Anyway, if your having a bad day or something happened and you need to vent or ask for advice, do it here if you want. Today i found out that my best friend from elementry school got hit by a train and died last week and ... i dont really know how to feel about that. we were out of touch and hadnt talked in years and i feel bad for not feeling bad. if that makes sence. is that normal? |

I think we did have one of these, but it got lost somewhere in the threads of fangirl-ism, thank you for starting another one though, I need it! That is perfectly normal, how long ago since you had talked to this person (if you don't mind me asking), and are/did you go to the service(again if you don't mind the asking)? |

oh geez, thats awful....im sorry.. If you hadn't talked to them in a long time and stuff then its ok not to be like, a train wreck *no pun intended* Now if it were your current best friend I'd expect that you'd be like, really depressed.. But for now I think you're ok. If that helps at all? I found out that one of my friends mom's died last weekend, and It made me think about how I don't keep in touch with my dad as often as I should...so Its almost good that these things happen when they do... Its like a wake up call, ya know? |

^agreed. It makes you think that your life isnt as bad as others & that you really need to live it while you have it. I haven't really talked to any of my freinds from school over the summer. & I feel really bad about that, especially since one of my friends was having minor issues when school let out. I have texted her on a few occasions, but she seems. . . different. Like maybe it bugged her more than I thought it would. But I don't want to pry either. I'm stuck! |

Aw, that's horrible. I know how it feels; in 7th grade one of my best friends from elementary school died of cancer. But a lot of positive things came from it in time. And I can definitely sympathize with friend issues. I haven't seen my best friend since the last day of school. Every time I text her asking if she wants to hang out she's always busy =/ But the thing that's really got me mad is...well it's a long story. Vans Warped Tour is pretty much the biggest music festival that comes to Florida and my parents had promised me I could go last year but they didn't give me the money to buy my ticket in time. Well, I was pretty upset about that so this year they promised me I could go to BOTH VWTs in St. Pete and Orlando. I was so freaking excited. Then last week my little brother was skateboarding at Vans Skate Park (Ironically they sponsor VWT...) and he broke his femur (thigh bone), requiring surgery to fix it. Well, needless to say he can't walk and since I leave for camp for 8 days on Saturday, my mom couldn't really afford to take more time off of work to stay home with him. So now instead of having a blast at Warped, I'm stuck playing nurse/maid to my 13 year old brother. I'm going next year even if I have to walk. haha. |

i hadnt talked to her since sixth grade and im in the summer of my sophomore year (going into junior) so its not like we were close. its just wierd. she kinda kept in contact with my cousin...who hates her, so idk, its just really sureal cuz i knew her mom and little brother and i have all these memories and stuff. in order to avoid annoying repatition, im not going to say its wierd again, but it is. there hasnt been a service yet. i have the opposite problem with my friends. see, im mormon, and so are my friends that ive been hanging out with, and were not supposed to date until we are sixteen, but most of my freinds are having little secret "relationships" and so they invite me along to all these activities to kind of "supervise" but im really just there to act as a babysitter cuz they arent allowed to hang out alone. ive decided im through being a third and sometimes fifth wheel lol. im sorry about your friends though. call them and demand hang out time. schedule something. dont take 'no' for an answer and im sorry about the concert too. that really bites, and not in the good vampiric way. you could try nocking him out with niquil and sneak out to see it... ill watch him! |

At our school we had *clears throat*: My friends dad (who was a teacher and sick for a while) passed away 1 8th grade student have a brain problem and passed away 1 junior commit suicide And to top off the year a teacher got carbon monoxide poisoning and passed away. Amazing year huh? Everybody elses stories were really sad too! And I get what you were saying about a reality check kind of thing my mom had cancer last year (survived) but it was still a major "It can happen to anyone you're not invincible" |

OK so here goes. On sunday, my dad died. I was the one who found him, and had to call 911, and everything. Yesterday was the service, and I'll admit that I was bawling my eyes out. And I still have people asking me if I'm at my mom's or my dad's. I feel like screaming at them, but of course I don't. I dunno. I just really wanted to write on here, to keep busy. This whole situation is really depressing... like, I can barely eat and stuff. Oh, and if I hear "he's in a better place now" one more time, I'm going to flip out. -Jasmine |

I'm sorry for your loss.. Losing a relative can be a terrible thing, but I know with time you'll feel better. You did all that you could to help him. |
