Let me explain what a bounty is before I explain the rules.

A bounty is a price you put on a player who is entering a tournament and you want them taken out.
Prizes on peoples head might make someone try just a bit harder to beat them. There are 2 bounties prizes, 25% of the bounty for knocking the player to the losers, and 75% to the person that eliminate them from the tourney.

Why would someone put a bounty on someone? There are lots of reason, Fear, Salt, envy, the list is endless. Although I don't think many people will take bounties out on people I still think its nice to have a guideline for it since its been around in smash tourneys since Melee.

its pretty simple. You make a bounty post, Post the Date of and which tourney the bounty is for, and the prize for the people who win the bounty, and who it is they have to beat in order to get the bounties.

Exp: (this isn't real)

Bounty: Ronte

Singles Tourney, May 29, 2016

Bounty prize: $10. Knocked to loser $2.50. Eliminated from tourney $7.50.

So if someone sends them to loser you pay them the 25%, sends them out of the tourney you pay them 75% of the bounty. If No one beats them, you pay nothing, if someone only knocks them to losers you only pay the 25%.

If you make a bounty post, then back out of the bounty after the tourney starts you will not be aloud to post a bounty again.

If you fail to pay the bounties out, after the terms are met you will again not be aloud to make anymore bounty posts.

Payouts for bounties happen at the tourney it self, if you aren't there you still have to pay the bounties if they win just later on. If you don't same rules apply.

Minimum 5 Dollar Pre Bounty. That means, 25% $1.25, and 75% is $3.75. Clearly you can make it a more even number if you want to make it easier but, what ever price you decide is up to you.
