Beautiful evenings often overlap into beautiful days; at least that’s what most wish for at night, when they lay their heads against their pillows. Harmony was one of these people, as she is just returning to an empty house from a night on the town with Generation Now cohort, Adam Edge, ready for some much needed sleep. She flips on a light to her lavish ten room apartment, then sluggishly walks up the stairs and retires to the bathroom connected to her master bedroom. Opening up her cabinet, she takes out a bottle of toner and cotton balls, preparing to dab the two together and wipe all the make-up off her face. Once retrieved, she closes the cabinet and begins the process. Having a healthy skin regiment was apart of many BQWA’s divas beauty rituals and Harmony was no exception. She coats the cotton ball with the green liquid and gently rubs it against her face, collecting all the impurities that could lead to unwanted issues. She goes for another dab, putting it inches away from her cheek until a noise grabs her attention – a creek in the floor. She stops and looks in the darkened room beside her, then continues removing the make-up. Creek. She stops again, this time, peeking around the door frame. Still nothing. Now wanting to speed up the process, she ditches the cotton ball and bends over the sink, feverishly washing her face with her bare hands. After a few seconds, she pauses, looking at the beige colored liquid, satisfied that all the powder, foundation and concealer is now resting in the sink. She pats her face dry with a towel, then heads for the bedroom. Creek. Now worried, she juts her head toward the door and sees nothing… nothing but a pair of eyes looking back at her through a slit of blackness. The look of it alone gave her the chills, but when it began to move toward her, panic sets in. Harmony runs toward the connecting door, leading to her bedroom, only to be stopped by another individual who is masking their identity. She screams, then darts toward another exit toward the living room, but stops when she realizes something is grabbing her hair. The figure slowly reels Harmony back, then throws her into a wall. Scared beyond belief, she scatters on the floor, moving toward her wireless phone. Voice: Disconnected. She pushes the “talk” button, only to realize the intruder was correct. Looking for another outlet, she runs toward the window, trying to pull the frame up with all the strength she can muster, but to no avail. Voice: Nailed shut. Her back hits the wall and she slides down, wide eyed. Harmony: What do you want from me?! The intruder comes closer, kneeling down next to Harmony. Slowly, they take off their mask, revealing a full head of golden blonde hair. Once she wipes the tresses out of her face, it is obvious that Skye Jones has broken into Harmony’s world. She watches the fear in Harmony lessen and smiles, ready for the next chapter in their tumultuous relationship to begin. Skye: How’s it feel to be a prisoner, Harm? In your home, no less. Harmony: What is it this time, Jones? Unhappy about the call I made as refer- Harmony gets to her feet, ready to charge her foe until a hand grabs her from behind and firmly cusps her mouth. A voice soon matches the figure with a name. Kid Disturbed: I think you’ve done enough talking. It’s time to listen. He tightens his grip using his large hands to keep Harmony’s arms behind her back. In the meantime, Skye grows closer, her stare intensifying. Skye: I can live with losing a match, Harm. I can’t live with what you’ve done though. She hovers over her enemy, like a predator on prey, ready to strike at any moment. Skye: I know every little detail, right from the drugging to the “rape” itself. As she continues, she takes note of Harmony’s expression, which is that of a blank stare. Skye: Have you convinced yourself it’s okay? Because its not. Do you know how many women go through this? Do you know how much embarrassment, how much guilt they place upon themselves? You walk around, playing the victim like you have some profound sense of what being violate is like, but you have no clue. Skye sits down on Harmony’s bed, gaining a better eye to eye perspective. Skye: Why, Harm? Why create such an elaborate scene? Why would someone want to pretend to be raped? For publicity? Is the bitch gimmick not working out for you? She doesn’t answer or even try to. Her face was the same vacant expression, as if she didn’t give a damn. Skye: Maybe you should go back to being a slut. You’re good at that role, right? In fact, I wouldn’t be shocked if we found something special in the Rape Kit confirming that. Harmony’s demeanor changes, from a blank face to squinted eyes pointed in Skye’s direction. Skye: But I’m not here to insult you. I wanted to introduce you to someone. Skye beckons someone with her finger, making them come into the forefront – a silhouette of a 6’4, 250lbs man. No one can see his face, but everyone knows exactly who it is: Kip Freeman. Harmony’s eyes bulge out of their sockets, then turn away, not yet ready to lay eyes on her victim. Skye: What’s the matter, Harm? Expect someone else? She moves out of the light, allowing her husband to emerge from the shadows, taking a seat in front of Harmony. His eyes lock on her in a pathetic fashion. It was almost as if he felt sorry for her, but as her pupils connected with his, sympathy turned into rage. He could see her for nothing more than she was: a liar, pretentious and cold-hearted. Skye: I’m not your biggest threat now, Harm. You’ll face me at High Incident, and it will all be over. Me beating you for the Women’s title will be your punishment from me. But now, you have another person to answer to. Looking into the face of your crime… that’s where true justice lies. There they sat, criminal versus victim, like two statues with blinkless eyes. The beginning of Skye Jones punishment was clearly underway and so far was drama free. Now, it was the most crucial point, when the torch of justice was passed to the real victim, allowing him to meet face to face with the woman who nearly shattered all his dreams. |

Pushing down on the brake pedal, Adam Edge brings his car to a stop at the red light after dropping Harmony off back at her apartment after their meal out. Mavrick was out of the country doing international promotion for High Incident, and Exponent and Eclipse were off doing things that young, free and single guys do, plus Adam hated the idea of Harmony rattling around that huge apartment on her own, so he had called her up and invited her out to eat. They’d gone to a nice little quiet place Adam knew about not far from Harmony’s apartment, and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of not having to worry about what people were saying, or doing, and were just able to have a nice evening away from it all. Adam had become proud of Harmony over the last 2 months. She had become a female version of him, cold and callous to the fans, with that slight edge of psychosis he so often displayed. She was evil and vindictive, and understood that to get what she wanted, she had to let all reservations go, as well as all links to friends, fans and clinger’s on. He always knew she was destined for great things, and knew she needed his guidance to get here there; now that influence was showing, and the result couldn’t be any sweeter. Putting the handbrake on and placing the car in neutral, Adam leans forward to the glove compartment, pulling the handle and opening the containment up, rummaging around CD’s and log books for a packet of gum. But his attention is diverted when the sounds of a cell phone receiving a text message play in the car, the melody not matching that of his own cell, and he looks down, spotting Harmony’s bright red Samsung flip phone in the foot well of the passenger’s side. Picking the phone up, Adam drops it into his pocket, before manoeuvring the car into a 3 point turn and returning back in the direction from which he came. It was obvious Harmony’s phone had fallen out of her bag as she’d got into his car after their meal, and knew she’d be lost without it, especially if her husband rang. Driving back along the road, Adam glances at the houses lining the street. They were all high priced and had multiple rooms, as well as swimming pools, tennis courts or other expensive luxuries, but Harmony and Mavrick’s apartment was nicely tucked away in the corner of a cul de sac, away from the bustle of the business men and Wall Street workers that occupied the neighbouring abodes. Pulling up outside her apartment again, Adam climbs out of the car, closes the door to and points the remote as he walks towards her gate, the bleep of the alarm being set echoing in the night time air. The sound of the gravel on the drive crunching underfoot, Adam continues towards the front door and looks up, noticing a light on in the window and the blind pulled down, but enough light being let through to notice 3 silhouettes in the room, 2 obviously female and one much larger, obviously a male. Adam knew Harmony should have been alone and quickly springs into action, worried that his female cohort was under attack, making his way to the door as quietly as possible to find it a jar. Bracing himself, Adam gently pushes the door open and steps inside the house, pushing the door back to its state before stopping as the sound of a familiar voice floats into the air. Skye: Have you convinced yourself it’s okay? Because its not. Do you know how many women go through this? Do you know how much embarrassment, how much guilt they place upon themselves? You walk around, playing the victim like you have some profound sense of what being violate is like, but you have no clue. Almost stealth like, Adam makes his way up the stairs and to the open doorway into the en suite bathroom where the source of light and sound was coming from. Creeping through the room to the opposing open door, Adam makes sure he stays out of sight as he listens to the continuing saga unfolding in Harmony’s room. Skye: I’m not your biggest threat now, Harm. You’ll face me at High Incident, and it will all be over. Me beating you for the Women’s title will be your punishment from me. But now, you have another person to answer to. Looking into the face of your crime… that’s where true justice lies. Hiding in the shadows, Adam watches the broad stature of Kip Freeman lean over Harmony, still being restrained by Kid Disturbed, and glare at her with hatred and venom, as his wife, Skye Jones, took a few steps back and left her nemesis to lock stares with the man’s whose life she almost destroyed. Adam knew he had to pick his moment to strike, but the adrenaline flowing around his body was screaming for him to strike now. Still staying out of sight, he watches the scene continue to unfold. In the room, Harmony was scared. Mavrick wasn’t even in the country, Expo and Eclipse were out partying and as far as she knew, Adam had driven off 10 minutes ago, probably already home. She was trying not to let her fear show, as fear equalled weakness, and after all, she’d been to hell and back with Skye anyway, so why should she fear him? She had been close to death and gone from heaven to hell, so why should she fear one man? The only problem being, it wasn’t one man, but 2 men and 1 woman, all 3 of which bore a grudge against Harmony that made the issues between Trish Stratus and Lita in the WWE look tame. Her eyes switching between Kip and Skye, Harmony squirms slightly under Kid Disturbed’s grip, the friend of her nemesis responding by tightening his grip on her arms, pinning them in tighter and making her yelp slightly as uncomfortable became painful. Kip leans in further, his eyes alive with anger and rage, as Harmony cannot help but be drawn into eye contact with her victim, expressing the fear she was now feeling through her eyes. He raises his hand up and takes hold of a strand of Harmony’s hair, twirling it between his fingers as she flinches at his actions; he was becoming dangerously close to full physical contact, which was something Harmony felt was inevitable. Kip: You’re a pretty young lady. You seem smart, you’re good in the ring, and you’ve got this air of innocence about you, so why do you seem so filled with hate? This is what I can’t understand Harmony. You seem so nice, so innocent, but yet on the inside you’re a venomous and vindictive bitch. Harmony flinches again as Kip almost spits out the last 4 words of the sentence, her eyes again flicking between the man whose life she almost destroyed, and the woman who almost destroyed hers just over 4 months ago. Skye leans against the doorpost that leads into the bathroom, her blonde locks flicked over to one side of her head as she tilts it slightly, watching her husband look for redemption with Harmony. The personal hell he had endured the last 3 weeks was nothing to what she had been through; her work colleagues, friends, even the fans had treated her differently while Kip had been held in custody; she had become almost outcast from the world for something that was beyond her control. Sweeping her mass of hair over to the other side, Skye continues to watch as Kip searches for his answer from her foe. Kip: I just can’t understand it. How you can be so evil and malicious to do what you did to me and Skye, and for what? Just because she’s challenging you for the Women’s Title? Forgive me if that sounds naïve, but that’s a poor reason to try and destroys someone’s life. Harmony lets out an arrogant snort of laughter from behind Kid Disturbed’s hand clamped over her mouth and rolls her eyes as Kip continues to glare at her with hatred. From that second part of Kip’s speech, it was obvious he knew nothing of the history between Skye and Harmony, and their unadulterated loathing of each other. Kip: So I’d like an answer. Why did you do it? Kip nods to Kid and he removes his obtrusive hand from around Harmony’s face, allowing the Brit to gasp out and take a couple of deep breathes, directing her attention at the floor before beginning to chuckle, low and hollow, the sounds echoing around in the tense atmosphere of the room. Harmony finally slowly raises her eyes to Kip again, this time a look of pathetic pity for the man who only knew half the truth, and not the whole story. It was obvious Skye had him under the thumb, and that he chose to believe the line she fed him, but what was also obvious, was that Skye craved that urge to play games again, so who was Harmony to not join in? After all, providing a complete mindfuck for her opponent’s husband just days away from High Incident could be useful, as well as the chaos it would create being rather enjoyable to watch. Harmony: She’s got you whipped, hasn’t she? She’s got you hanging off her every word and you’re stupid enough to believe it. What did she tell you Kip? Some fantasy story of how the big bad Harmony wants her dead, and she’s just an innocent little victim in all of this? HA! Don’t make me laugh. Kip’s anger and rage towards Harmony eases slightly, transforming into confusion, the anger still within his expression, but that look of confused apprehension beginning to form in his eyes. As far as he knew Skye was just the victim in all of this, and that this was all happening because Harmony had come off the rails. Harmony shakes her head with pity for the man stood in front of her, as he was being duped along the way by his own wife, something she would never do to her husband. Harmony: You look confused Kip, like you don’t know. Hasn’t Skye told you about our fun and games of a few months back? You disappoint me Jones, I’d have thought you’d have been the first to jump to tell him. After all, you were so proud of your ac… The large right hand of Kid Disturbed clamps over Harmony’s face again, preventing her from continuing as Kip’s rage melts away completely, and confusion and intrigue set in. Kid Disturbed: I think that’s enough of that. Kip: Let her talk. Kid Disturbed: Pardon me? Kip: I said let her talk, I want to hear what she’s got to say. Exchanging a nervous glance with Skye, Kid waits for the blonde to nod from her position against the doorpost and out of Kip’s sight to release his grip on Harmony’s mouth again, a slight air of worry beginning to knot in his stomach. Harmony: Thank you Kip, at least SOMEONE has manners. Don’t you know it’s rude to interrupt someone Brent? OWWW!! Kid lets out a low growl from behind Harmony as he tightens his grip on her arms again, making her exclaim out in pain. Leaning her head back so she can see his face, Harmony snarls at him, the sarcasm level in her voice set on high, trying to push the knife firmly between Skye Jones’s shoulder blades to her best efforts. Harmony: What’s the matter Brent? Jealous because he’s the one screwing her and not you? Skye’s eyes nearly bulge out of their sockets as Harmony tilts her head forwards so she’s facing Kip again, with Kid using her mass of brunette curls to hide the tinge of red that had come to his cheeks. Noting her nemesis’s nervous look, Harmony flashes Skye a look of pure evil mischief, before turning her attention back to Kip, ready to retell the storied history of Harmony vs. Skye Jones. Harmony: Now, where were we? Oh yes. This whole, hatred, between me and your “lovely” wife goes back much further than 2 months Kip, this goes all the way back to the beginning of April. You see, at the March PPV, Hell’s Fury, I won a match to make me #1 contender for the Women’s Title I now hold, the title Skye held at the time. Glancing across from her eye contact with Kip, Harmony spots Skye looking somewhat worried, playing with the gold band symbolising her love for Kip, and she smirks. This was going to be more fun that shooting fish in a barrel, and the ecstatic feeling would be far superior to that of any drug. The mental and emotional destruction of Skye Jones was all falling into place, and the best part was that Skye had created the situation that was leading to it; she had created her own downfall. Harmony: I’ll admit I was young and naïve then. I’d been in the business all of 3 months, and wasn’t quite completely wise to the way of the world so to speak. So, the next evening, house show, some god forsaken little hell hole, I can’t recall where. I have a face to face interview in the ring with Mitchell Cole, he’s our little interviewer person, has a tendency to get his arse kicked, but I digress. During my interview, who should come out to the ring, but your wife, and then Women’s Champion, Skye. Harmony squirms again as Kid tightens his hand around her wrists again, feeling the pressure of his fingers force her limbs closer together, and the grip becoming more violent. Giving a defiant wriggle, Harmony makes sure she’s comfortable before continuing, still noting the confusion but intrigue to Kip’s demeanour. Harmony: We do the usual, a little bit of banter back and forth, then suddenly the arena lights go out and I get grabbed from behind by 2 masked men. 2 minutes later I’m tied up in the boot of a car, and being driven to some hell hole. Oh sorry, the trunk of a car, we British call it a boot. Anyway, I end up in some cabin in the middle of no where tied to a chair, with Skye for company. Stories of gasoline soaked ropes and candles, and attempts of mind games. She and her then little buddies the DOC, kidnapped me from the middle of the ring, and left me in that cabin to perish. A large chunk of Kip Freeman’s world fell off and crashed to the ground. The once angered and vengeful face was now emotionless, not knowing whether to believe the revelations he was hearing, as Harmony took great pleasure retelling the history of her issues with Skye, relishing in having everyone right where she wanted them, through just a regaled story. Harmony: But it gets better. I’m not the kind of girl to go down without a fight, and thanks to a little help from my husband, I was rescued from that predicament. So I decided to take it upon myself to fight fire with fire. Little Skylar over there wanted to play games, so I decided to be nice and play along. I got you going good, didn’t I? Made her think that her kidnapping had sent me over the edge, caused a psychotic episode. Then came Nemesis, the PPV in which I had my chance to take the Women’s Title and cement my place in professional wrestling history, and what happened? Your little wife was so sure she couldn’t defeat me that she had one of her little DOC friends come and cheat for her, and she screwed me out of my victory. For a fleeting 20 seconds, Kip takes his attention of Harmony and turns to Skye, a look of shock and disbelief emblazoned across his visage, looking for some sort of sign from his wife that Harmony was lying, but all the blonde can do is look at her feet, the guilt of her previous actions, and the fact that she didn’t tell her husband about them preventing her from allowing herself to look at him. She couldn’t bare the pain this would cause to both Kip and herself, and tries to avoid all contact with him. The atmosphere in the room was so thick you could drown in it, and knowing she made a huge crack in the happy marriage of Skye Jones and Kip Freeman, Harmony continues, the venom in her voice so pungent it could choke you as she happily continued to drive the nails into the coffin of Skye’s happy little world. Harmony: Payback was a bitch though, wasn’t it Skye? See, I decided that she needed to be knocked off her little miss high and mighty perch, and I embarrassed her in front of the world, telling them all how I’d suckered her in with my acting skills. Kind of how I suckered the world in this time, no? But yet again, I’m digressing. Skye didn’t take to kindly to being made a fool of in front of the world, so she decided she needed to take more extreme action to solve her problem. Kip’s face drops. What could be worse than kidnapping and mentally torturing someone, then cheating them out of a victory? Harmony: Skye worked in conjunction with the “lovely” Miss Madison and lured me out to a bridge on the outskirts of a town one night. We got a little bit, violent per say, and somewhat bloody. Skye decided that violence was the only answer, and had Dolly lure me out to that bridge, then leave me there on my own with your wife. Skye caught me off guard, I admit that, and ripped my face open with barbed wire. Actually she pretty much ripped all of me open with barbed wire, I still bare the scars and will be quite willing to let you see later if you behave. We fought with barbed wire, Skye tried to run me down with a limo, and I fought back with all I had, throwing her into the side of said limo, but then things got a little out of hand. We ended up fighting close to the edge of the bridge and I charged at her, but she side stepped and I almost went over the edge, but stopped myself. I turned around to be met with a stiff kick to my chest that send me over the edge of the bridge. The colour drained from Kip’s face and he went white as a sheet, his eyes diverting to the floor, not daring to look at Harmony. He actually looked like he was going to collapse any minute, and she was enjoying every second, never taking her eyes off his expression as Kid Disturbed piped up from behind her. Kid Disturbed: You evil little bitch. Harmony: What’s the matter Brent?! Don’t you think Kip deserves to know the truth?! Kid Disturbed: You’re going to hell for this, you know that. Harmony: At least its always warm! Kip: She kicked you over the bridge… Harmony: Not quite. Yes, I went over the edge of the bridge, but I managed to grab hold of the wall as I fell, stopping myself from dropping to an almost certain death. As I struggled to keep hold of the cold brick, a pair of hands grabbed my arms and supported me, the hands belonging to your wife. Kip snaps his eyes up from the floor and locks them back on Harmony. He suddenly had this little glimmer of hope that his wife hadn’t been just like the woman in front of him: Heartless, cold, and malicious. But that little glimmer of hope was about to get crushed like a butterfly on the wheel. Harmony: She supported me for almost 5 minutes, held me up when I couldn’t support myself. But then she did the worse thing of all, after taunting me in my time of need, my time of dependency on decent human nature, she let go. With 3 little words, Harmony shattered the world of Kip Freeman. The 3 words he had least expected to hear, hit him like a freight train, and the look of disgust and despair exhibits itself in his demeanour as he looks at his wife for some sort of sign Harmony was lying. Desperately clinging to the hope that this was all a malicious story and part of the Harmony hate campaign, Kip looks to Skye for reassurance, to be met with the crushing blow of Skye not returning the support, but instead sliding down the doorpost and to the floor, her head in her hands, not daring to look at Kip because she can’t bare to lie to him. Harmony: With no remorse, no guilty, no conscious, she just let go. She stood and let me drop 40 foot down into a free flowing river, and float away to my supposed death, watching and relishing in every second of my pain, terror and suffering. I was lucky to survive with just badly bruised ribs, a concussion, and blood loss, but I did. Kip: Tell me this isn’t true. Skye: …………… Kip: TELL ME THIS ISN’T TRUE! Harmony: I’m not the only one she’s tortured Kip. Her new little best friend Kate? They weren’t best friends to start with. My ex, Constance, became obsessed with Kate and held her hostage after Kate rejected her. The poor girl, Constance I mean not Kate, had a mental breakdown and Kate ended up being the victim. Myself and Fuel went to go help Kate out, and Skye came along, we just weren’t aware, but rather than helping Kate, Skye left her there. The strain of all these truths becomes too much for Kip and he collapses back and slides down against the wardrobe door, running his hands through his hair, trying to process what he was being told. He didn’t want to believe that his caring, generous and loving wife, could have caused so much hurt and so much pain, so much suffering to the young woman in front of him, but her refusal to deny the claims told him this wasn’t part of Harmony’s act. Harmony: Constance had a knife, and little miss perfect over there just left Kate to die, all so she only had me to wrestle for the Women’s Title instead of both of us. But when that plan to get Kate out of the scene didn’t work, after physical destruction didn’t work, she went in for emotional destruction instead. Kate never knew her father, but Skye made sure they became acquainted. She found him in a bar, and then took him to the hotel where Kate was staying, called her room to say she had a visitor, and just left him to meet her. She dropped a huge bombshell in the lap of Kate, and let her to cope with meeting her drunkard father while she was still fragile from the hostage situation with Constance. Without warning, Skye bursts to her feet and charges towards Harmony, striking her hard across the face with a stiff punch, splitting her lip open. Reeling back with shock for a second, Harmony flicks her brown curls back out of her face and licks the blood off her lip, before looking up at a visage of anger and hatred from Skye and displaying an evil smirk and sadistic glance at her nemesis, a twisted pride in her work. Skye: Evil bitch. Harmony: Need I remind you, that you started this Skye. And it’s not my fault you neglected to tell your husband the truth, but I do feel it unfair that he’s making judgements without the whole story. With one more malicious and low chuckle echoing around the room, the 2 divas focus their attention back on Kip, who hasn’t moved since sliding down the wardrobe door, still absorbing the information given to him. His world had crumbled down before his very eyes, being told of how the woman he worshipped, adored and loved more than life itself, had been no better than the woman sat in front of him. Harmony smiles as she watches his heart break in 2, proud of managing to turn a situation that was against her favour, into one that was in her favour. The long and storied history of Harmony and Skye Jones had had its highs and its lows, but for Skye Jones, none so low as this, and as Kip began to question his beliefs in his wife, Skye began to question whether her marriage could survive Harmony, the pretty little hate machine. |

Adam Edge stood out of sight from the chaos in Harmony’s bedroom. No one had noticed him there and he needed to keep it that way. He had to pick his moment jump in and help his first lady of Gen Now…he just wasn’t quite sure on how to do that without both him and Harmony taking the brunt end of a ass kicking. So he stood merely feet away and listened as Harmony did what she did best, stir shit up. He couldn’t of been more proud of her, hearing her talk was like listening to his favorite rock band live in concert. Harmony had always had this ruthless side to her, he wasn’t going to take credit for that…but he loved that he had exposed to the world a woman who loved the psychology of a human chess match just as much as he. Harmony didn’t panic at her situation, she remained calm and never let them seize full control of the moment. She bought herself time by using her words, not force and what AE was most proud of was that she knew exactly what to say to Kip that could lead to Adam getting her out of this mess…he just had to be patient and pick his spot. Harmony: Need I remind you, that you started this Skye. And it’s not my fault you neglected to tell your husband the truth, but I do feel it unfair that he’s making judgements without the whole story. Skye: Kip...you’ve got to trust me, she’s trying to get inside your head by turning this all on me. You and I, we can discuss my past actions later and if you want to hate me then, I wouldn’t blame you, but let’s not overlook that while I may have done some nasty things to this tart, she did one ten times worse to you… Kip: (Still looking down at Harmony) Because of a seed you planted… Skye: At this moment Kip, which do you find more dangerous, the devil you know or the devil you don’t?? Kip]: Right now, I need you to not be in my sight Skye. Skye: Kip, I… Kip: Just for a moment so I CAN THINK!!! Harmony: Take as much time as you need Kip, it’s a lot to process I know. Kip gets down into the face of Harmony and grabs her by the hair and jerks her head so she’s looking him dead in his eyes, right into his cold icy stare. Kip: The best thing for you to do right now would be to keep that British accent from making my ears bleed. Skye: You… Kip: GO SKYE! FOR ONE DAMN MOMENT!! Skye nods her head, accepting the fact that Kips’ world was crumbling around him and he needed to not be looking right at her if he was to focus on what Harmony did to him. Skye: I’m going to get some water then, Kid… Kid: I got this, go, let him focus on one thing at a time. Adam Edge, listening the whole time, hears footsteps coming in his direction. He quickly moves himself to a more disclosed location, but one that he knew Skye would have to walk right by. Skye comes walking out of the room and takes a deep breath, trying to keep herself together. She knew her past would come back to haunt her…but she never considered it would tear her from the man she had always loved, no matter what inexplicable things she may have done. She heads towards the kitchen and is steps away when AE comes out from behind her and grabs her, pinning her arms down with one arm and covering her mouth with the other. Skye shrieks a muffled cry and tries to squirm free, but to no avail. AE: Shhh…shhh…I’m not going to hurt you, from the sound of things I can let Kip do all of that work. Skye looks over her shoulder into the eyes of AE, shooting him a look that says it all: “Go fuck yourself…” AE: I can understand you setting up this meeting with Kip and Harmony. I can even understand everything you’ve done to her in the past…hell I admire your work even. But what I can’t wrap my head around is the fact that you feel the need to explain said actions to a man who’ll never understand them?? Skye breathes heavy as AE continues to talk. AE: You, me…Harmony…we’re all cut from the same mold really. We’re thinking people, we can fight anyone put in front of us…but we’d rather break them mentally then physically. I’ve always said, any mindless twit with gusto can throw a punch, but it takes a true genius to pick apart the human psyche and watch it crumble… Skye tries hard to break free, but Adam tightens his hold. AE: Kip doesn’t understand that in our business, if you’re not on the top then you’re nowhere. He doesn’t understand that true champions are the ones willing to do whatever it takes to get to the top and whatever it takes to stay there! People like you, me and our little green eyed monster in there…she’s practically our baby ya know. Skye’s eyes shift from rage to utter confusion at the madman ramblings. AE: I was thinking to myself earlier about how far Harmony has come along in such a short amount of time. While I know she’s always had the beast sleeping within her, it took you dropping her off a bridge, dumping gas on her, whipping her, ripping her flesh with barbed wire, it took you doing all of those things to show her just what’s needed to make it in our business. By the time her and I hooked up, it was quite easy really, to turn her into a ruthless machine of vindictiveness. Like Kippy said, you planted the seed in her…I just watered it. So Skye, I ask you to stop denying your true self and help me in creating the most powerful woman in the wrestling world since…well, haha, since you!! Skye looks at Adam with disgust and disbelief. She goes to fight away again, but hears a quick crack and feels AE’s grip loosen and he falls to the floor. Skye gasps for a actual breath of air and looks behind her and sees Kid Disturbed standing there, wine bottle in hand. She smiles thankfully at him and looks down to AE, who’s not out cold, but isn’t exactly going to be springing to his feet. Skye: What about Harmony and Kip?? Kid: Harmony is now tied up and Kip, well he’s been better. Skye: And him? (Motions to AE) Kid Disturbed pulls a roll of duct tape out and grabs the wrists of Adam Edge and begins to wrap them up, bounding him from making anymore moves. The scene cuts back to Harmony and Kip. Harmony sat on the floor, waiting for something to happen, anything really. She found the anticipation of hurt to be more exhausting then the actual process. Kip had sat himself down in front of her and hadn’t moved or said a word since Kid D had left them moments ago. Harmony: Ahem. Kip says nothing, but glances towards her. Harmony: This might sound a bit odd, but could you proceed with the beating? Or whatever it is you have planned for me here tonight?? Kip looks at her dead on and let’s out a low chuckle, but that soon turns into a roaring laughter…it would appear as though Kip has chosen mental breakdown as his final answer. Kip]: HAHAHAHA! You people are fucking nuts!!! Harmony: (Under her breath) Says the man who spent the last 10 minutes looking at the wall… Just then the door swings open and in comes Kid D and Skye, carrying a still dazed Adam Edge into the room. Harmony: ADAM!!! AE: (Still groggy) Hey there Harmy, this might be bad timing on my part, but is this place cheap in rent?? Skye and Kid both drop AE to the ground with a thud and Kid Disturbed gives a hard kick to the stomach of AE. Kid: Sorry, but I really cannot stand to hear this emo wannabe talk… Kip]: HAHAHA!! It keeps getting better!!! Skye: Kip, are you okay?? AE: (Trying to catch his breath) Of course not…he just found out that not only did Harmy here set him up for rape charges, but you and I once worked together to pin her to a bed while you whipped her effortlessly… Kip: (Snapping his attention directly to Skye) Oh God no… Kid Disturbed delivers another crushing boot to the stomach of AE. Harmony: Damn, I knew I forgot something!! Kip: Is there anything else you’d like to tell me Skye?? Kip stands and goes over to Skye, stopping right in front of her. Kip: Maybe you ran a bus of orphans off the road?? Maybe you chopped off Zack Gowen’s one leg!?!?! AE: You remember that night don’t you Skye?? We met up before hand and I just wanted to have to you scare Harmy some, but you insisted on torture, but silly me, I didn’t give Skye her favourite toys to play with! You see Kip, Skye’s weapon of choice would have to be barbed wire…wouldn’t you agree Harmy?? Harmony: Oh sure. At first I thought she might enjoy the bats, lead pipes…or whatever, but I soon learned that you give Skye barbed wire and she’s a kid in a candy shop!! AE: So true!! But silly me Kippy, I gave her a bull leather whip instead!!! Harmony: She soon got over that though, go ahead…look at my thighs Kip, check out the scars. Kip looks back at Harmony and to Skye who is expressionless at this point. Kid: Kip man, you’re not honestly going to get upset over something that happened months ago instead of something that happened last week, are you?? Kip walks over to Harmony and goes to check out her thighs. Skye: Kip don’t!! Harmony: Go ahead Kip, no charges will be pressed this time…honest. With that Kip slides Harmony’s skirt up slightly to her thighs, exposing the brutal scars that Skye left months ago. He jerks the skirt back in place and stands up, putting his hands on his head and frantically pacing. Kip: Skylar…I can’t believe…I mean…I just don’t… Skye: Kip, that was months ago and I’m no longer like that!!! AE: Ask her why. Kip: Excuse me?? AE: Ask her why she’s no longer like that Kip, you’ll enjoy the answer. Kip: What’s he talking about?? Skye: I have no idea, honest!! AE: Oh now Skye, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that our boy Kid D here has revived the place in your heart where you once kept happiness!! Kid: What does that even mean!?! AE: It means, that when she met back up with you, her old WCCW buddy, she had once again found a reason to be happy…something she hadn’t felt in a long time with Kippy here. With one swift motion Kip extends his large boot and kicks AE right in the mouth with it, sending AE reeling to the floor. Kip: Stop calling me that!! Now that CAN’T be true… Skye: And it’s not!!! Kid: He’s making assumptions Kip!!! Adam sits back up, spitting out a pool of his own blood. AE: Harmy, you want to field this one for me?? My mouth feels like it was kicked with the boot of misguided husbands… Harmony: Gladly. No one knows better than Adam here about how travelling with someone day in a day out in this business will always lead to more than just friendship… Adam and Harmony glance at each other. Harmony: Just ask Angelica Haze. Anywho, getting off course here. Eating together, training together, working together. Eventually, everyone starts to think “wow, how great would it be if I got to spend this much time with my husband or wife!?!?” so 90% of wrestlers take the easy way out, they make their co-working women, their co-working girlfriends…eventually becoming co-working wives. AE: HHH and Steph. Harmony: Edge and Lita. AE: Stone Cold and Debra. Kip: SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTHS!! BOTH OF YOU!! The Gen Now cohorts do as told. Kid: This is all bullshit man, you know it… Kip walks over to Kid Disturbed and gets in his face. Kip: Do I?? Because up until 45 minutes ago, I had a wife who hadn’t tortured anyone in her life, who didn’t work with scum like him to whip bitches like her. So please Kid, tell me…how do I know that what they’re saying is bullshit?? AE and Harmony glance at one another again and smile, they know they just might have gotten a way out of this mess. |

Skye Jones had never doubted the sanctity of her marriage, but looking into her enraged husbands eyes made her think otherwise. Currently he stood, face to face with Kid Disturbed, one of her closest friends within BQWA, brows furrowed and nostrils flared, intent on damaging her supposed lover. She had never seen Kip this way – he always had a calm, carefree demeanor, like he would never hurt a fly. But upon meeting Harmony and Adam Edge, he seemed to morph into a proverbial demon, ready and willing to take down anything in his path. Skye couldn’t blame him – he was the victim in all of this mess, but she hoped that she could help him keep his cool before his inner feelings turned outward. Skye: Kip, please. He doesn’t have anything to do with this. Kip: Then why is he here?! Skye: Because I brought him here to help fend off Blondie and his puppet. Adam lets out a slight grunt, prompting Skye to look over in his direction before turning back to her husband. Skye: Look, just leave Brent alo- Kip: Oh, so its BRENT now?! Skye: Kip, please. This is getting out of .. Kip: SHUT UP! He juts his head towards hers, giving a look that could kill a thousand men. She is taken aback, holding her chest as if her heart has been ripped out of its confines. Kip: I wanna get back to our little friend here. So answer me, Kid and be HONEST because surprisingly enough, the only two in this room who have been honest tonight are these two. He motions to Harmony and Adam, a gesture which they reply to with a smile. Kid turns his focus to Skye, who looks at him desperately. She needed him to help her here and for the time being, pretend like he didn't have feelings for her. Kip: Don’t look at her.. She’s the last person you should be laying eyes on right now. He takes a big gulp, then looks Kip in the eyes, not blinking once throughout his statement. KD: I...do care for your wife a lot Kip, but she only loves you. He looks at Skye for encouragement, but with one gaze Kip becomes enraged, taking KD by his collar and pushing him up against a wall. Kip: You’re a fucking LIAR! Skye: Kip, come on! Kip: You think I’m going to let him just run all over our marriage? Skye: No, you’re doing that job better than anyone right now. She watches him tighten his grip at the comment, knowing the worst is coming. Skye: Kip… Her focus turns to his eyes, which are engulfed in flames of hazel. Not wanting to see her friend get hurt, or her husband do something he’ll regret, she rushes up behind Kip, attempting to pry his hands off of Kid’s, but he instinctively elbows her aside, using such force that she plummets into a wooden bedpost. She clutches her tender cheek and grabs her back as she lies on the floor, a crumpled mess. KD: What the fuck is wrong with you?! Kip looks unfazed as he gazes at his wife lying on the floor. He soon turns his attention back to Kid, as he takes his head into his hands and bashes it against the plastered wall, making chips fall down alongside his crippled body. Skye checks on her fallen comrade, as a pair of boots nearly step on her delicate fingers. She looks upwards, only to see her husband staring back down at her. He kneels down and peels off the wedding band on her left finger, tossing it behind his shoulder. Kip: If it doesn’t mean anything to you, then it doesn’t to me either. Angered, he gets back up to his feet, preaching amongst the crowd. Kip: You are all fucking nuts. Every single one of you. He looks over in Harmony’s direction, eyeing her up and down. Kip: Every single one of us. A stern look unfolds upon his face as he undoes the buckle on his belt, looking at Harmony intently. Skye glares upwards, taking every action her husband displays into account. Skye: Kip.. He walks towards his intended victim, slowly unzipping his jeans. Skye: This isn’t funny, Kip. AE: What the fuck are you doing, man?!? Kip kneels down to the floor, throwing Harmony’s skirt onto her lap. He slowly parts her legs as she shows some restraint. She lets out a high pitched squeal, one that makes Adam shiver in her fear. Skye: Stop it, Kip! She’s not worth it. Kip: If you can have your fun, why can’t I?! She grabs his foot, hoping to stop his madness, but he kicks her hand away, making it impossible. Kip: Throwing people off bridges, cutting them up with barbed wire, accusing people of rape. ALL of you are insane, but why can’t I be?! Why can’t I play the game?? Harmony: Get the FUCK OFF ME! Harmony squeezes her legs together, trying to prevent him from entering her sacred zone. Harmony: ADAM! Replying to her cries, he attempts to undo the ties that bind him, even going as far as to scoot his body across the flooring. Skye: KIP STOP IT! Kip: Why, Skye?! If you can do it, so can I! I’ve already been arrested for rape, why not make it official?! At that moment, she gives up. There was absolutely no fight left in her. He was a changed man, a man she never saw until that night. Instead, she folds her body into a ball and closes her eyes, wishing the nightmare would go away. Kip: You’re not the only ones who can play mind games, ya know. He uses Harmony’s knees to prop himself up, then forcefully tips her body over onto its side. Slowly he gets up and turns to Skye, the woman he had chosen to love and adore, but now quite possibly loathed her more than anyone else. Kip: But I'll never be as fucked up as any of you. He takes a moment and glares at each one of them, associating a certain tone with each stare. Harmony received malice for the rape accusation. Kid got bitterness for the supposed betrayal. Adam received a pathetic look for nothing more than association. And Skye, she received the wickedest look of all, the one of pure annihilated distrust. From human to human, it is unnerving, but from a husband to a wife, it is a death sentence. He holds his last stare the longest, examining his once “perfect” wife for what she was – a liar. Quietly, he storms out of the room, leaving nothing behind except the four bodies on the floor. Skye lifts her head up, looking at the scene. It was disheveled, but not as bad as she anticipated… then she saw Kid, his head trickling with blood. She puts her hand to his cheek, trying to revive him, and almost magically gets an open eye. KD: Skye…. What the fuck? Skye: Shhh. She puts one finger on his lips, allowing him to be quiet. Skye: The worst is over, Brent. There’s no need to talk about it.. not now. A somber look appears on her face when she looks out the door Kip walked through only moments ago, now knowing what his wife was truly capable of. Kid and Skye would soon walk through the same frame, only their emotions would be quite different. Rage would turn to sadness, and emotional pain would become physical, leading both Skye Jones and Kid Disturbed into a reckless state heading into High Incident. |

The atmosphere in the room was thick and tense as Kip Freeman, then Skye Jones and Kid Disturbed in turn had left, the whole time Adam struggling against the viscous tape binding his limbs and restricting his movement, desperate to check on Harmony, who hadn’t moved since Kip had pushed her onto her side except to curl up into a ball. Finally managing to remove his hands from the grip of the tape, Adam scrambles to over to Harmony on his hands and knees, and unwraps the tape from around her wrists, then puts her head onto his lap and strokes her hair, the brunette never flinching while exhibiting a blank and emotionless expression, seemingly too traumatised from the experience. Adam: Harmy, it’s ok, its over. They’ve all gone away now. The vacant and distant visage of Harmony’s face still remained. Had Skye Jones finally done it? Had she managed to, albeit unintentionally, finally get into Harmony’s head? The uncomfortable emptiness of awkward silence continues to fill the room as Adam cradles Harmony’s head in his hap, stroking her head and rocking gentle, much like a mother would pacify a child. Adams mind was racing to try and understand how Harmony was feeling; she had almost been violated in the worst way possible, and it had almost unfolded right in front of his eyes, and if she had gotten hurt in any way, he would never have forgiven himself. Although he would never admit it, he had always had a soft spot for Harmony, as he knew that with the right nurturing, she would be more powerful than she could ever imagine, and for how far she’d come in such a short space of time with his attention, he treated her like child, proud of her every action and intention. Now very concerned for his cohort, Adam goes to reach into his pocket for his cell phone, but stops as a low, malicious and haunting chuckle begins to fill the air, exhaling itself from between Harmony’s ruby red lips, building and building in volume and heartiness, a crescendo into an evil and psychotic laugh that would chill any normal person to the core. Tilting his head to one side and looking down, Adam finds the blank and vacant expression now morphing into blazing eyes of ecstasy and a vindictive and crazed demeanour, the look of a person possessed, and Adam could do nothing but grin. Albeit a confused grin, but looking down at Harmony now rolling onto her back and looking up at him, still laughing psychotically, Adam could feel nothing but pride in what he considered a butterfly now emerging from her cocoon. Adam: Care to fill me in Harmy? Finally ceasing the malicious and crazed laughter, Harmony exhales a satisfied groan of ecstasy and quivers slightly before sitting up and flicking her head round to face Adam, her long brown curls following at high speed and landing on her shoulder. Continuing with a maniacal smile, Harmony looks directly at Adam, with a look of happiness, but would make any sane person nervous. Harmony: I’m fine Adam, TOP OF THE WORLD!! You know why?! Skye Jones just dug her own grave and jumped in it feet first! She exhales another chuckle, still malicious and evil, but somewhat more calm than before. Harmony: She came her with the intention of justice, and all she did create herself more problems. Looks like her marriage to little Kippy won’t be lasting much longer. She’s an emotional wreck, and Brent’s little crush on her isn’t going to help her while she tries to rebuild her trust with her husband. She drove the nails into the coffin herself, I just provided the hammer. Slowly, Harmony moves to her hands and knees and crawls seductively but with a hint of hysteria towards Adam and all he can do is sit and bask in his creation as she leans into his ear and drops her voice down to a low and disturbing growl. Harmony: You know something Adam? I enjoy destroying lives, it really turns me on. Leaning back to a kneeling position, Harmony looks at Adam and chews her lip before hopping up to her feet and making her way over to the door with a smile on her face, opening it up and looking back at Adam, still knelt on the floor in the same position, but with a euphoric demeanour, with pride at what he was witnessing. Harmony: Well I think this calls for a celebration, don’t you? I believe I’ve got a bottle of champagne in the fridge, don’t keep me waiting to toast the destruction of Skye Jones, Adam. With a spring to her step, Harmony giggles again as she leaves the room, leaving Adam to watch her vacate the room. He sits for a minute, still watching the door she left through, before a twisted and proud smirk forms on his visage and he climbs to his feet, before walking through the door and following his cohort and his creation, to celebrate the emotional destruction of bitter rival. |
