Thanks to Harms for help with dialogue

Revenge couldn’t have been better. Arati never had thought that phrase before…but she meant it in a completely different way. Keeping the Women’s Title felt amazing…maybe winning it wasn’t a fluke. This was the final test….or was it? The Pay Per View had been gruelling…all of it, the training, the promotions and finally the match. It was nice to just relax for a little while again.

It’s odd, we complain when we’re busy and we complain when we have little to do…but having little to do is much more pleasant when you’re with company…especially a friend whom you haven’t seen for a long time. Arati never really did have much to do with Harmony; she was always a lot closer to Connie after all...but now it was time to get to know her properly. Arati did reminisce about the time Harmony and Connie threatened to teach her to kiss. That was a while ago…before Dylan, before the Women’s Title reign and before Harmony was kidnapped by EWA.

Arati sighs and gazes at a menu in a quiet street-side bistro. It is lunch time. The Bistro is getting busy, full of office workers taking lunch together, shoppers having a break or couples enjoying time alone together. Sitting opposite her is Harmony. The woman that since before she started her career at BQWA she has looked up to. If a year ago someone had told her that she’d been sitting ordering lunch with Harmony she’d never have believed it and suggested that that person sought professional help.

Harmony: What you going to have to drink?

Arati: Only an orange juice, thank you. I’ll give you some money if you are ordering?

Harmony: I’ll get it. Have you decided what you’re going to eat?

Arati: I think I will go with the cheese and tomato panini with the salad.

Harmony: Ok. I’ll be back in a minute.

Harmony gets up to place their order and Arati watches her go.When Arati had invited her out to lunch, Harmony had jumped at the chance; she hadn't been out with her friends since before High Incident, and she saw it as another step in embracing her newly returned freedom. Arati smiles as Harmony returns with two tall glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Harmony: Ok, they said it’ll be about 20 minutes. They’re rushed off their feet.

Arati: Ok good, I’m really hungry.

Harmony: Congratulations on your title win by the way.

Arati: Thank you.

Harmony: How are you adjusting to being our top Diva?

Arati: I wouldn’t call me that!

Harmony: Honey, you're wearing the gold.

Arati: Only because it’s from an opportunity. I’ve not yet beaten the best. Just because I’m wearing the gold it doesn’t make me top.

Harmony: Not beaten the best? Arati, you beat Tara. Granted not in the fashion you would have liked, but you still beat her.

Arati: There’s you too. I believe that you are one of the best too. Tara wasn’t at her best. I feel that I am just babysitting the gold.

Harmony: Mmmhmm, and just remember I've got my sights on that gold myself.

Arati: You and every other woman in BQWA…just I believe that you would easily take it from me. I’m hardly Diva material. I just got lucky.

Harmony: Arati, you are one of the most agile and talented women I have seen grace that ring for a while. You'd give anyone a run for their money.

Arati: Thank you for your compliments... And thank you for being here with me, it’s really nice.

Harmony: No, I should be thanking you.

Arati: Whatever for?

Harmony: Helping me get back into a normal routine.

Arati: Oh? I do not understand.

Harmony: With everything I've gone through, this little slice of normal means the world to me.

Arati: Well I feel that you are the only Diva I really would like to know and I don’t.

Harmony: Well, what do you want to know?

Arati: Well I’d like us to be closer…does that sound strange?

Harmony: Not at all honey. Making friends outside this business is hard as people don't understand the life, so friends within it is the best thing really. Kate and I are incredibly close.

Arati: I do not really know Kate either. I would like to. I sometimes feel like an outsider. Maybe that is just me. Were you like that to begin with?

Harmony: Yeah, it takes time to get to know people, but the best thing you can do is just be yourself and go for it, be confident.

Harmony takes a sip of her juice, Arati does the same, pondering Harmony’s last suggestion. Confidence...surely this had to be the only time in her life when she felt like she had none...before back home she oozed charisma, wit and confidence...where has it all gone?

Harmony: Speaking of confidence, I've heard down the grapevine you bailed out on a photoshoot the other day.

Arati: Oh, that. I did. It got too much. They wanted me to wear a bikini and then some lady shoved silicone under my chaatis.

Knowing all too well what Arati means Harmony giggles, trying not to sip out a mouthful of juice.

Harmony: Honey that's part and parcel of being a woman in wrestling I'm afraid. As much as we just want to wrestle, we've got to understand we're sex symbols too.

Arati: I don’t think I could be a sex symbol. I would like to be…but it’s not me. Look.

Arati delves into her purse. She takes out the backless photo she had taken a few weeks ago at said modelling shoot. She sheepishly passes it to Harmony.

Harmony: And you won't wear a bikini? That is one hot picture Arati

Arati: No, I don’t want people to see my thighs, or my gaand. My midriff is fine though. I got that picture for Ravi, but I’m too afraid to send it to him. It has been in my purse since before Revenge.

Harmony: Why?

Arati: What might he think of me? He might think I am a bicycle!

Harmony: No he won't! He'll think "wow I have one incredibly sexy girlfriend".

Arati: That is just it…I don’t even know if I am his girlfriend. I would like to be…I have these urges and strange dreams like one where I dreamt I was a sausage roll…and another where I riding a large snake across a desert.

Harmony: Those "urges" are your body's way of telling you when it wants sex, its called being horny.

Arati: Sssh!!! I can’t do that! I can't even talk about it! Ravi and I are not married! To be honest, I don't know all of the details...I once asked my mother and she said I didn't need to know before I was married as I'm not white...I don't understand what she means.

Harmony: Sex shouldn't be regulated by whether you're married or not. It happens when you feel comfortable and ready for it to happen. Not to mention, you're missing out on all the fun.

Arati: Well, I, we can’t…just…can we please change the subject? Do you think I should send this to him?

Harmony: Yes, I do. He'll love it!

Arati: I did love doing the shoot…I felt like a princess. I just wish I wasn’t so scared. I felt like I had to do naughty pictures…Dylan does them, you have done them...all Divas have. I feel like since I've become the Women's Title I have to be in Playboy or walk around wearing nothing.

Harmony: You don't have to do anything you don't feel comfortable doing honey, but with the "naughty" pictures, its about feeling comfortable. I never do anything I'm not happy with or wear anything I'm not happy about in those shoots. You have to be firm with the photographer about what you want to get out of the shoot.

Arati: Will you come with me?

Harmony: Of course! Heck, if you want to talk to the photographer about doing one together, I'll be happy to. My first shoot wasn't on my own, it was with Connie.

Arati: Really? I’d like to do a shoot with you.

Harmony: I'd be happy to help out, and I'm sure we can talk to wardrobe about some sexy yet not too revealing stuff for you to wear. Showing as much skin as physically possible isn't always sexy.

Arati: Thank you Harmony. I really appreciate it. You can show me the way, give me Diva lessons. Dean taught me to fight; you can teach me to be a Diva.

Harmony: No problem and the only thing you need to learn to be a diva is to be confident. You've got it, so flaunt it.

Arati: Thanks. I will try

A small olive-skinned, petite waitress arrives at the table. Smiling she is carrying their order....two steaming hot paninis with cheese oozing out from the bread.

Waitress: Hi, ok, Cheese and tomato panini and a ham and cheese?

Harmony: Thank you.

Arati: I really appreciate this Harmony.

The waitress serves their lunch with a grin and returns to collect another order. The cameras leave the two women to enjoy their lunch together. Harms taking Arati under her wing for a bit….this is going to get mighty interesting.

Good stuff, Arati is so lovable :P It's nice to see her slowly breaking the shackles of her previous life, though we can see it's hard for her.

Not sure if Harmony is the best person to teach her though... I can't imagine Arati using the whips and handcuffs :P

Lol, that's exactly what I was thinking. If Arati is looking to become a bit more unhinged from her past, Harmony can do that in a heartbeat. The woman is the Paris Hilton of e fedding!

In character dialouge is hard to keep up for that long imo, because people naturally tend to lean more towards their own style/type of speaking. You kept it real for the entire RP and are at the perfect pace with showing Arati letting loose little by little each week. Great stuff!
