The EWA is gone. All is right with the world, correct? That’s what a person would believe after the results of Revenge. The juggernaut was defeated and BQWA is safe and sound. The BQWA team are heroes, forcing the stable to disband. Even Phenetic can be looked at as somewhat of a hero, after defeating Nexus for the Custom Title and driving him out of town. Then there is Josh Dean. He was a hero that night in his own right, retaining the Money in the Bank briefcase in a battle with Andy Chills, preventing any possible way for Andy to cash it in against Big Evil and protecting the title for Big Evil. Dean was proud of his accomplishment. So this is a night for him to celebrate. We find ourselves outside of Dominic’s, the most expensive Italian restaurant in St. Louis. The building is painted on the outside in a darker red .Lights illuminate the red brick walkway all the way up to the shrubbery that lines the walls. The oregano and tomato dashing through the air can be smelled from several blocks away. Several people file into Dominic’s, as they are drawn by the feel. Inside of the building, bright art paintings of great Italian Renaissance artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michaelangelo, etc line the burnt red colored walls. Dolly Madison is sitting in a booth alone on this night. She has her hair down tonight, with her brunette waves flowing easily onto her forest green suit jacket. Dolly’s face is not etched with the normal scowl that usually accompanies it. This night, she has more of an even keel look, almost as if she was relieved, which is probably accurate, considering that she almost got driven out of business. As Dolly settles herself into her booth, the waiter brings her a menu and she begins speaking to the waiter. The waiter moves his hands around in dimensional detail before writing down in his notepad and walking off. Dolly begins to sift through the menu as she looks over to at the candle on the other side of the table, then back at the menu. Her mind, while at ease is distracted. On the other side of the restaurant “Mr. Money in the Bank” Josh Dean comes inside. His blue sport coat and light khaki pants are a different attire than what is accustomed of him. He begins to walk down the aisle of booths. As he peers his vision to the left, he sees Dolly sitting in the booth by herself. Dean walks over and takes a seat across from Dolly as she looks up from her menu. Dolly: Josh, what a pleasant surprise to see you here. Dean: I have to get a little bit of dinner before going out on the town. This place looked pretty cool, so I came here. The waiter comes back over with a bottle of wine, in which he uncorks before sitting it down on the table. Dolly was definitely in the celebratory mood tonight, which could potentially end up bad for an unlucky sap. The waiter notices Josh at the table now and Dolly holds up two fingers. The waiter nods and turns to go back to the kitchen. Dolly takes the one glass that the waiter brought out and pours it half full with wine as she stares down Josh Dean, trying perhaps to size him up. Why was he here, and what were his motives? Dean: I must say Dolly, Revenge was a very good success. Congratulations. Dolly: Yes, congratulations are definitely in order. I am very proud of the men and women that stepped up to the plate last weekend and put an end to the EWA once and for all. A+, Karisma, eXponent, Tara Shannon, Phenetic. And as much as I don’t like him, DxKid even did his part. And there will be rewards for each of them. Dolly began to crack a smile. For a woman that never smiled, she really did have a nice smile. But when you are at the top of the world and have a multi billion dollar empire, then a nice smile is obtainable. The waiter brought the second glass to the table and Dolly motioned for Dean to pour himself a glass of wine. He began to pour it as Dolly lifted her glass. Dean stopped halfway up as Dolly tilts her glass back and begins to drink. As the dark red wine begins to disappear from Dolly’s glass, Dean lifts his to his mouth and begins to drink as well. He sits his glass down slowly. Dean: Well, then I shall be waiting for my award of a title shot then, correct? Dolly stops everything that she is doing in that moment. Title shot? She almost lost her company and now a man who has said that he would destroy her company himself is coming talking about a reward of a title shot. Dolly looks into Dean’s eyes, hoping to see a semblance of joking. But he sat there like a stone, piercing her with his cold blue eyes, waiting for a response that would be satisfactory. Dolly became slightly afraid. So many people, the potential news bulletins if what she said didn’t appease Dean. Dolly: A… t.t.title shot? Are you serious Josh? Dean: Oh no Dolly, I’m not serious. I’ve only been in this company for four years. I’ve only given everything I have for this company! I’ve broken bones, bled for this place, and now I want rewarded for my loyalty. But no, I’m not serious. Dean takes his glass of wine and begins to raise to it to his lips and sips it slowly, staring down Dolly with his gaze. As Dean spoke matter of factly, Dolly was similar to a duck on a pond. On the surfaceshe was calm, but underneath she was a range of panicked emotions. She knew what Josh Dean was capable of when he was motivated, and he is clearly motivated at this point. But she stayed calm. Maybe it is a bluff. She began to look down at tablecloth and admiring the patterns, searching for something to say. Dolly: Josh, I’d love to give you the title shot. I really would. But ever since that fiasco at Immortals, I have to go through a bunch of people now on who gets what. There’s nothing I can do about that. Dolly returned her hand to her glass of wine as Dean took his eyes off her for just a moment to look around the room. Dolly puts the wine back to her mouth, hoping to cover the smile. Dean turns back towards Dolly, and there was a slight waver in the hardness. Almost as if there was disappointment in his face, even if his muscles hadn’t moved. Dolly’s smile begins to crack. Could Dean really be buying this? It didn’t matter if he was buying into this, she was the boss and she could let him know it! Dolly straightens herself up. She wanted to go about this still in a calm manner, knowing how quickly Dean can go off. She still had the potential media headlines to worry about. Dolly: I know it’s disappointing Josh. You’ve done a lot of great things for BQWA in your career and believe me, you have made us a lot of money. But in this business, it’s about what is getting done at the moment. You’ve been in this business for a while now Josh, you know politics. You know the motto behind a push has always been “what have you done for me lately?” Dean grabs his glass of wine and puts it to his mouth, slowly and calmly taking a sip. He sits the glass down and begins to measure Dolly again. Her demeanor has changed just in the last couple of minutes from a woman who was relieved to still even be in business, to her cocky self once more. Dean puts his elbow on the table and lays his forearm flat. He leans in slowly, never breaking his eye contact. Dolly’s smile diminishes as the feeling of uneasiness creep in, as Dean in one movement turned the momentum of the conversation. Dean: Dolly, I wasn’t asking if I was going to be rewarded with title shot. I was telling you that you’re GOING to reward me with a title shot. I don’t ask for anything, because I take things! There is a difference. And it is in your best interest to make this happen. Dean’s eyes stay fixed on Dolly as the boss uneasily looks back down at her wine glass, which is empty now. His matter of fact and decisive words had Dolly back on the ropes. He has laid out the gauntlet to Dolly and now she had to respond. Dean leans back and takes another sip. Dolly’s face develops a slight scowl. It isn’t a full scowl like we are used to seeing, but a slight scowl. She was disgusted. Could he really be giving her an ultimatum? That was her job! She could say the only thing that she knew to say. Dolly: Excuse me? You work for me Josh Dean! And don’t you forget it! I told you I have to go through people now to give you a title shot. But I can still endorse a person for those people. But quite frankly, why do I have to do endorse you? You beat Andy Chills, so what. You won Money In the Bank, so what! You haven’t done anything for me lately to even garner interest for me to drop your name in the hat! You weren’t on Team BQWA, fighting for the survival of this company. So this little threat you’re making, isn’t going to help you! The momentum swung back to Dolly. Just the way Dean wanted it. He developed a smile as he sat back and took the last drink of his wine. Dolly really let him have an ear full. Dean’s smile started to vanish quickly, as his eyes became enraged as his face became twisted and into a scowl. His calm, normal breathing became much deeper and forced and at more of a rapid pacing. Dolly had insulted his loyalty! He could’ve easily jumped ship when things got bad. But he stayed on, and now Dolly is refusing to show him appreciation! Dean grabs the table with a white knuckle grip and stands up, leaning over the table. Dolly leans back but still maintains a strong base, at least on the outside. Dean’s scowl fades and it is replaced with a smile that said, “I know something you don’t.” Dean completely steps out of the booth. He leans over in Dolly’s ear at a distance that was still comfortable, but enough to let her know he was going to tell her something that others in the mixed company shouldn’t hear. Dean: Very well then Dolly, have it your way. But I’m going to warn you about something. You shouldn’t have said what you said. Have a good evening. As Dean turns and walks away, Dolly remains seated. She is the boss of BQWA. But at this moment, she was fearful. What exactly did Josh Dean mean? She had just almost had her company destroyed, someone else couldn’t be threatening it just yet. Or could they? So BQWA is safe. Or is it? You decide. |

Looks good. I like the back and forth interaction, and the in depth description of the thoughts and facial expressions that may convey them. I'm a little confused though because I thought the money in the bank thing meant you could get a title shot at any time? |

It does, but in Dean's mind, he feels he should be granted the title shot for showing his loyalty, and therefore not have to use it unless in the event that he were to lose his shot. That's the thought process I was trying to get across. |

FINALLY, we started to get you out of the generic promoer phase, and into more of a "cancer." I, just like Cent, enjoyed the interaction between Josh and Dolly, especially with the thoughts of gaining a title shot for his loyalty, and if he happens to lose he has the MITB as a backup. Looking forward to reading more bro

As I told you the other night, since I came back to reading RP's, you've been on your A game for sure. Like phenetic said, it's a matter of getting you out of that old style of RPing and letting everything go with "The Cancer" persona. Great stuff man, please keep it up. |
