OOC: If you'd like to hear the song which accompanies this promo, in order to set the tone, here it is. I highly recommend this tune! http://youtube.com/watch?v=GQ_jQDfFaZI
====================================================
The TV screen scratches on, black and white background, almost a nod to the old NWO promos. The inimitable voice of Johnny Cash rises, while the man himself is unseen, a wise voice, older, rougher. The first image we see is the limo which hit A+ during his epic championship match against Big Evil. It has been whitewashed, glistening a kind of blinding white, offset only by the darkened visage of a still Kid Disturbed. The main smiles evilly, a screen capture that tells a thousand stories all at once. The music legend's voice greets both us, and this image...

And I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder: One of the four beasts saying: "Come and see." And I saw. And behold, a white horse.

Again, the limo's brilliant white appearance threatens to blind the viewer, if not for the dark counterpoint of Kid Disturbed's massive frame. The messy, scratchy, but beautiful sounds of Cash's guitar fire into the consciousness, raining down like fire on the images to come.

There's a man goin' 'round takin' names. An' he decides who to free and who to blame.

Rapid-fire images of Kid Disturbed shoot on and off the screen--chair shots to unsuspecting victims, Spinebusters galore, Big Boots by the millions, blood, carnage, sweat, and power, and to top it all off...numerous Reality Checks.

Everybody won't be treated all the same.

Plus lies in a pool of his own blood, and KD mouths God-knows-what to his seemingly lifeless body.

There'll be a golden ladder reaching down. When the man comes around.

The World Title flashes onto the screen, taunting all who do not hold it. This image is interspliced with KD looking determined as can be.

The hairs on your arm will stand up. At the terror in each sip and in each sup.

For the first time in the video, we see Colossus. It is a still shot of the young man looking forlorn, as A+ is loaded into an ambulance, the vitality sucked straight out of both men's marrow.

For you partake of that last offered cup, Or disappear into the potter's ground.... When the man comes around.

A new image, briefly: Colossus having a drink with some of the members of BQWA. A second image, just as brief: KD walking in, smiling, and Colossus standing up to leave the room.

Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers. One hundred million angels singin'. Multitudes are marching to the big kettle drum.

For a brief moment, Cash's voice and his guitar drop out entirely. Instead of him, we hear but one brief sentence, and a quick flash of loud music, known to Meltdown and the wrestling world at-large: “Chaos is the score upon which reality is written.” For a split-second, Godsmack's "The Enemy" fires up, but as quickly as it arrives it is gone. Cash's voice and guitar reassert themselves with steadiness and power.

Voices callin', voices cryin'. Some are born an' some are dyin'. It's Alpha's and Omega's Kingdom come.

Harmony screams out, unheard by the viewer, tears falling like the dew droplets from a flower in the early morning. She leans over and tries to speak to the unconscious Plus, as the screen's image fades back to a malevolent KD, admiring his handywork.

And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree. The virgins are all trimming their wicks. The whirlwind is in the thorn tree. It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

At the word "whirlwind," images of KD flipping people inside out with the Clothesline from Hell pop up, en masse, cycling through like some sort of sick flip-book art. This goes on for several seconds, ending with another image of KD sneering in happiness at his havoc.

Till Armageddon, no Shalam, no Shalom.

An image of Colossus training intently in a dingy gym, perhaps the old Dungeon, flashes up briefly, before transitioning into the next piece.

Then the father hen will call his chickens home. The wise men will bow down before the throne. And at his feet they'll cast their golden crown.

For the first time in the video, the World Champion, Big Evil, is shown. In a still image, he sits proudly, feet up, sneer plastered on his face, title belt slung over his shoulder. The glory days of EWA, this image provides a beautiful anachronism...the irony of which is heightened when the camera zooms in on the image, showing KD closest to Big Evil, smiling just as intently, the anti-Peter to Big's anti-Jesus.

When the man comes around.

Various images of KD in EWA gear splash across the screen, wrestling against the BQWA, living it up with his former EWA comrades, soaking up the good life...

Whoever is unjust, let him be unjust still.

The iconic image, KD in command, KD sneering, KD on top of the world. It hangs for a moment, until Mr. Cash takes us further along our journey.

Whoever is righteous, let him be righteous still.

Plus, hand held high in victory, beams with unspeakable pride at having conquered the EWA at the biggest PPV in recent memory. His smile is a mixture of happiness and relief.

Whoever is filthy, let him be filthy still.

Big Evil, shell-shocked and broken-hearted at his creation's demise, flashes a face of violence, rage, and disbelief.

Listen to the words long written down...When the man comes around.

KD's iconic visage, once more, as the song repeats its dual-chorus and the video repeats the images associated with those choruses. The song is winding down.

Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers. One hundred million angels singin'. Multitudes are marching to the big kettle drum.

Voices callin', voices cryin'. Some are born an' some are dyin'. It's Alpha's and Omega's Kingdom come.

And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree. The virgins are all trimming their wicks. The whirlwind is in the thorn tree. It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

In measured hundredweight and penny pound. When the man comes around.

Cash again drops out of the song, oh-so briefly, as the BQWA ring announcer sharply rings out: "And weighing 265 pounds, he is KIDDDDD...DISTURBBBEDDD!

Cash's guitar pops back in for a brief closing flourish, and then the man begins to speak and not sing, quoting the Book of Revelation...

As Cash speaks, we return to our first still image, that of the brilliant white limo wrecking Plus' life, and the dark counterpoint of a human being whom emerged from its inner sanctum.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts. And I looked and behold: a pale horse. And his name, that sat on him, was Death. And Hell followed with him.

As Kid Disturbed's cruel face fades away from the screen, and it itself begins to fade back to black and white, we hear a softer voice, a quiet voice, a familiar voice--the voice of young Colossus.

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me..."

Cut to black.
