The video begins with the winner of the main event at Revenge, A+, standing in the middle of an empty ring in a very small arena. Certainly not the kind of place we're used to seeing the former World Champion, but he seems surprisingly relaxed, if just a little reflective. After looking around the arena for a while, he stops and looks into the camera. Yo…what up, people… The first thing to notice is Plus' tone. Unusually softly-spoken and welcoming. He then has another quick look around the arena, before settling his gaze straight ahead again. Not much to look at, is it? It's not the Garden…the Staple Center…Caesers Palace. Hell…it ain't even the Bingo Hall. But, for all ma fans out there, then you should know that this place right here is majorly important. Or, rather…it was. See, I had to slip a couple of hundreds to the chief of the demo crew. Yep, that's right. This place 'bout to be torn down. And, when I heard, then I didn't have no choice but to hop on a jet and fly ma white ass over here. See, this ain't Detroit, Chicago, New York or LA. This here is Glasgow, Scotland. And this here is Carntyne Community Centre, to be more specific. Most importantly of all, this is where Andy Manson…now standing in front of you as BQWA superstar, A+…began his wrestling career. Just 50 feet away from here is where I first stepped through a curtain. Just 8 feet away from here is where I first set foot inside a ring for a proper wrestling match. And just 7 inches away from this spot is where Kenzo Tsunami's hand struck the mat as I made him tap out to the Wasted Potential. Pausing for a moment, Plus strokes his chin and lets out a little laugh. And, yet, just 15 feet from here, I was told – night after night – that I didn't have what it took to do this for a living. Night after night, I listened to the crowd tell me to go the fuck home and not bother coming back again. If any of you guys happen to be watching, then thanks. You're very probably the reason I'm a two-time World Champion. You did mo' for ma motivation than that punkassbitch Tony Robbins could ever dream of. But, I digress. There's a reason I dragged a BQWA.com camera crew here with me today. And it comes back to ma motivation. Y'see, y'all look back over ma career, and y'all will see that it's always been driven forward by one thing. Hunger. Hunger to make it in this business. Hunger to win my first title. Hunger to regain that title, after I lost it. Hunger to prove myself against the main eventers. Hunger to stay in the main event. Hunger to become World Champion. Hunger to prove myself all over again in a new company. Hunger to win a second World Title. Hunger to win back my wife. Hunger to put EWA out of business for good. And that hunger has served me well. It's served me very well. But, therein lies the problem. See, the thing about hunger is that, sooner or later, y'all is gon' feed that hunger enough to make it go away. Now, it's maybe taken me a lot longer to satisfy that hunger than most, but the fact is that the moment has arrived. I can feel that last hunger pang slowly ebbin' away, and I know that ma time is close. Plus takes another lingering look at his surroundings. So, it seemed only fittin' that, in the place of my first steps in the wrestlin' business, I announce that I'm takin' ma last steps in the wrestlin' business. The farewell tour starts here, cos A+…Andy Manson…is retiring at Immortals. That's right, it's almost over. See, all those things I listed before? I've done them ALL. I made it in this business. I won titles. I won World Championships. I got ma wifey back, AND I put EWA outta business. So, really, what's left fo' me, yo? There's no point in me takin' bumps that I don't have to. Now, I know what some of y'all is thinkin'. Why not just quit now? It's because of you. You guys have followed me ma whole career, through the highs and through the extreme lows. So, I owe you guys this. I'm here to tell y'all right now that this ain't gon' be yo' standard farewell tour. Plus don't do standard. I'm hit this fed hard. From here to Immortals, it's balls-out, 110% Plus to the extreme. Maybe I'll enter the Rumble. Maybe I'll call out Kid Disturbed one more time or DX Kid for the first time. Maybe me and Biggie will rip this place up for a few mo' months. Hell, maybe I'll finish ma career as World Champion again. But I can assure y'all…it's gon' be car-crash TV, people. Y'all ain't gon' go anywhere, when you see me on yo' TV. Now, go on…get outta here, yo. I gots some memories to relive… Plus continues to look around, as the camera pans out and fades away… |

There's really only one thing appropriate to say here, and it's from the Nature Boy himself... "Whether you like it, or you don't like it, learn to love it, because it's the best thing going today....WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I will leave it to others to start up the necessary PLEASE DON'T GO! chant. Excellent promo, really puts you a little deeper into Plus' mindset about wrestling and life...liked the angle about him accomplishing all his goals. Good stuff, looking forward to what the "farewell tour" has in store, if in fact it is a farewell tour. :ninja:

PLEASE DONT GO! PLEASE DONT GO! Plus boy, y'know what y'all is about. It's like the cheif, the head honcho in these here parts, telling people that the time is now to step up and become something, aight? To become the man.. because the man is leaving. Now that ain't cool, I ain't down with that, because there is way too much this white boy ain't done yet. Two time world champion? That ain't SHIT. Hell, that fool Halo won more World Titles than you and he can't wrestle worth shit. So you call it a retirement run if you want boy, whatever you need to build it up, but you know the call of the squared circle gonna kick in and your ass be back here in no time. If not? Then who the fuck do BQWA turn to next time they need someone to bail them out, huh? You da man boy.. and it's one hella longshot to find a nigga to replace you, playa. |

Well now you see why I robviously moved this over here instead of keeping it in BQWA.com. NOBODY WOULD'VE READ IT. This was definitely, in my opinion, one of your best in a very, very long time. The emotion behind it was surreal and it makes even the most heartless of bastards (i.e. - me) want to support Plus. I'm not saying this in a bad way because I love the stuff you and Harmony do together promo wise, but, it's so great to see you doing Plus-only promos because everyone needs a break from the love thing, hence why you saw me do the one promo mainly on my "love life" and the other promo about "real" stuff. But that's just my personal preference. Keep it up man. Hit me up PM or E-Mail and let's discuss some possible promo plans we can do for the next few weeks of this feud bobo. |
