Olivia, you mean the world to me and Kaylee. You are our world, our reason for being. We are so proud to have you. You are so valuable, so precious to us. Nothing in this world could be worth more to me right now. We'd do anything for you, we'll give anything, take anything. You know your mother gave up a lot, and endured a lot of pain, just to let you be here, safe and sound. She's so brave, so strong, and I'm so proud of her. You couldn't have asked for a better mum. She'll always be there for you, whenever you have a hard time she'll help you. Whenever you need a hand, or a heart, she'll lend it.

You're father would do anything for you as well. I've already given up drinking for now, so I can be better aware and better able to protect you. I'd take any hit for you, any bullet. This scalpel wound in my head? I'd take it again for you, if it meant you would be safe. But I know I won't always be able to wrap you up in cotton wool. Sooner or later you'll grow old enough that you won't want your dad always looking over your shoulder. But I'll always be there, if you need me. You'll be able to trust me.

I'm going to do my very best for you, I'm going to give you the best start I can, I'm going to be the best dad I can. You need to feel safe with your father, you need to trust your father, and you need to be proud of your father.

And I'm going to make you proud. I'm already a professional wrestler, earning more than enough to live, and with more fame and perhaps more respect than most people. I guess when you grow up you can be proud of that, but it's not going to make me the best. I want to be the best dad in the world for you. I want to be the best in the world for you.

And what's the best way to be the best? To beat the best, to show everyone that you are better. And what says 'best in the world' better than holding the BQWA world title? To have my name, Daniel Sorbello, etched into glittering gold, resting around my waist? Well, until now it's just been a dream, something so far away, so unattainable, something I thought beyond me.

But for you Olly? Oh I'd do anything. I'd walk through a wall of fire, I'd swim a freezing ocean, I'd take any beating anyone can give. Big Evil? A plus? Karisma? Colossus? I don't care, I'd go through them all for you. I'll realise the dream, reach further than I ever have before, attain the unattainable. For you I'll become the champion, I'll face up against the best, and better them, I'll topple the titans, climb the mountain, do whatever it takes to win the world title.

Because when I've become the best wrestler in the world, we'll always be able to look back, and we'll always know that I can be the best. You'll know I can be the best dad in the world, and you'll be proud of me.

But not nearly as proud as I am of you.

Beautiful emotional promo, in a fatherly style that perhaps only Dan Sorbello could pull off. It was a sweet letter, and gives terrific insight into the motivations and strengths of this character. He's always been fun to read, whether as Cent or Dan S., and I'm glad you keep writing for him.

Never a dull Cent/Dan S. moment, whether he's with Kaylee, Olivia, or Tris.

Awwwww

THat was really touching and heartfelt. Maybe would have benefitted description. Was picturing Dan topless holding baby Olly whilst she slept/stared at him like in that famous picture.

On TBS. Very Funny.

Fuck me sideways til Sunday, Batman. I didn't get teary eyed because obviously I'm incapable of such emotion, but that was great. It's great to see when people take their characters out of the realm of wrestling, but still keep wrestling involved, you know what I mean? Comparing how proud you are of your child to the rest of your career and life was a great touch. Having this be all dialogue, as well, was a new style that's not quite often used. This was good stuff man, real good stuff.
