Computers start up. BQWA website. eXponent’s page. 5 Questions With The Champ. “Enemy” by Fozzy. eXponent is there. It's been far too long since the International Champion opened the communication lines with his millions of fans. Without wasting any time, eXponent gets right into the show. eXponent: It's been quite a while, 5Q fans. Well, I can safely say that I am back. You’ve waited nearly a year to see Five Questions with the Champ, but from this point forward you will only have to wait a week. That’s right, every Sunday you will be able to listen to my answers to your questions on anything. Your International Champion; your questions; your entertainment. Now, I know what you’re thinking, and I’m not naïve. I’m fully aware that I share the title of International Champion with one Johnny Karisma, but I have no interest in answering any questions with him. If he feels led to run his own BQWA.com exclusive show, he is free to do so. However, I don’t expect him to commit to any sort of weekly project. eXponent flips open his laptop set on the side table to his left and logs into his e-mail account. eXponent: Let’s get started. This question is from Jacob Calhoun of Heathrow, England. He opens the first e-mail and reads it aloud as it pops up onto the screen. “Last week on Meltdown you helped Kid Disturbed beat your co-International Champion and as a result he got to keep his job. Did you do this just to get back at Karisma, or do you have some sort of respect for Kid Disturbed?” eXponent: Good question. To be honest, I only went out there to take the physical belt from Johnny. eXponent holds up the International Championship, freshly polished, for the viewers to gaze at. eXponent: That said, I do respect Kid Disturbed a great deal. I just can’t say that I helped him beat Johnny Karisma as a favor to him. It was entirely an act against Johnny. Next question. This one is from Tucker Warner from Dartmouth, Texas. “I’ve heard that you like to follow politics in between wrestling shows and events. Which of the three remaining candidates do you want to see run the White House? eXponent: I can say, quite comfortably, right off the bat that it should not be Hillary Clinton. As a woman, her emotions will get in the way of trying to govern, which is something America does not need right now. Between Senator Obama and Senator McCain, I like them both. If I were to vote tomorrow, I would probably vote for McCain, but a lot can happen between now and November. Let’s get another wrestling question now; this is from Michael Cioffi of Miami, Florida. “eXpo, I live less than ten minutes away from where you did. Me and my friends have been waiting for the BQWA to come to Miami so we could go to a show. As a native of Miami yourself, can you give us any insight as to how much longer we’ll have to wait to see you and the BQWA come down here? eXponent: I know that Dolly Madison just announced the stops leading up to Immortals and if memory serves me correctly, Miami was not on that list. I actually don’t believe any cities in Florida were mentioned. I can say that I would love to compete in my hometown of Miami in front of everybody that I grew up with. Normally we, the wrestlers, don’t have much say in where our shows take place but I’m tempted to drop the idea of Miami to some people backstage. Miami Arena or American Airlines Arena would both be great places to run a Meltdown, or perhaps even a Pay Per View. eXponent, content with his answer, returns to his laptop to locate the next question. eXponent: Question number four, from Raul Vilella of San Juan, Puerto Rico: “Why were you involved in a number one contender’s match to the BQWA Championship on Meltdown? I thought you believed that the International Championship was the most prestigious belt in the business?” eXponent: First off, I need to correct you. I know the International Championship is the most prestigious belt in the business. As to why I was in the number one contender’s match, it’s simple. I have no reason not to add some more gold to my shelf. I’m not necessarily going to exert my time and energy into gaining opportunities to vie for the belt, but last week I was told I’d be in the match. So I went there with the mindset that I could wear the BQWA Championship under by International Championship. As you saw, I was the first eliminated in that match, solely because I wasn’t fully focused. If the match had been a title defense for me and the same guys were in the match, you can be certain that I would have gone all-out and walked out the victor. Hopefully, Raul, that gives you a feel as to why I was in the match, as well as why I did not win it. We’ve got one more question, so let’s make it a good one. He scrolls through the e-mails to look for the perfect finale question. eXponent: Here’s a good one. Jacquelyn Streu of Riva, Maryland asks: “With Adam Edge’s recent return to the BQWA, you two haven’t even acknowledged each other, at least on-screen. Are you two on talking terms at all, or are there still hard feelings dating back to Generation Now?” eXponent: I have not spoken with Adam since he returned, and I do not plan on doing so. Adam has left me high and dry on too many occasions now for me to just drop any bad feelings I have for him. There are certain people in this industry that I don’t trust and he is one of them. I recognize that he’s a great athlete and he’s done a lot for the business, but I’ve got no interest in mending anything. He’s doing fine on his own and I’m doing fine without him. Maybe down the road we’ll find our paths crossing, but for now there will be none of that. eXponent shuts his laptop promptly, signaling that his five questions have been answered and time is up. eXponent: That’s all we’ve got this week, but don’t forget to tune in again next Sunday afternoon. If you’ve got any questions, just e-mail them to 5Qexponent@BQWA.com. Tune into Meltdown this week to see all of the BQWA wrestlers, but especially your truest International Champion, myself. The show’s over now. You can go ahead and eXit. ==== Seriously, PM me some questions. Otherwise I'll have to keep making them up myself, which is no fun. |

Yes, you haven't missed a beat sunshine. Top notch work as always, Montreal. I like that you mix a few "serious" questions with one or two comedy questions, or at least some what comical answers. Expo's arrogance is unlike any other which is why I find it ridiculous when people classify and rank the heels and faces here. I do say Expo in his own league of heel and whatever league that may be, he's surely at the top. I can see so much of Randy Orton and Tully Blanchard in you and your character it's insane, especially your writing's since you've returned. I'm so glad u r bak. |
