I don't actually watch TNA so I can't personally comment on this, but the general consensus around the IWC is that with all the potential TNA isn't doing anywhere near as good as it could. So how would you 'save' TNA? There's a bit of a twist though. Hiring or firing anybody isn't a choice, especially no 'gtfo russo' stuff. Honestly we have no idea how actually contributes what so lets not have all that shit, k? |

Honestly, to me, the biggest problem with TNA isn't the horrible angles, it isn't the dominance of exWWE guys, it isn't the crazy gimmicks and lack of building. Those are all things, imo, rather easily fixed. Are they problems? Yes, but every wrestling company goes through good and bad periods, and whether it's a permanent state or not, right now, TNA is in a bad spell, but as I stated, a bad spell that is easily fixed, though still terrible. However, I think TNA needs to focus on something different. The biggest problem with TNA is it's hype. They hype themselves up in a very strange way. Like, they're so big, but they need to show us how big they are. "We were on House!" "We got Pac Man Jones!" "This celebrity/athlete is a TNA fan!". It's as if they want us the fans to think they're huge, but need to constantly remind us, cause they don't buy it themselves. They should make it seem like people like Pac Man Jones is proud to be in TNA, which is sort of what they say, but they say it in a manner that suggests TNA is proud to have Pac Man. Make themselves look bigger and better in more subtle ways, not by jamming it down our throats in a totally fake fashion. The 2nd biggest problem is commentary, which is just awful and always has been. If I counted how many times Mike Tenay said "Yes" when it wasn't even close to necessary, and how many times Don West said "Cream/Creamed/Creamed him/Creamed her" at the same time, I'd lose count in the hundreds. |

I would start by starting to not mention the WWE at all. Focus on your own shit, and get that together before you start throwing stones, instead of right now, where TNA is the glass house. Get rid of the 6 sided ring. It doesn't make you stand out and your dudes don't benefit from it at all. This isn't Mexico, and you're not even lucha inspired, which was T2P's excuse earlier this decade. Start putting your own duded over the ex-WWE guys. This is starting to be done and it's a good thing. Calm down on the hardcore matches. In 2005, the shit felt more special because Abyss didn't bleed and pull out thumbtacks and crap on every PPV like he does now. That's why Sabu/AbyssBabred Wire was such a talked about match and Abyss/El Mesias wasn't. Lastly, try and make some guys known as TNA Guys. WJCP is right on the matter of when I like at Samoa Joe, I don't think TNA. I think ROH. When I think of Angle or Christian or Tomko or Booker T, I think WWE. The MCMG could be close, but that's only a tag team. AJ Styles and Abyss are 2 of the only guys who TNA basically grew from the ground up, and a lot can be done with that. |
