I haven't watched TNA in a long time. It's unwatchable to me. Usually if there's a PPV, I'll run through the quick results the day after. Well, about 10 minutes ago, I did just that. I was skimming through the matches and the winners (not reading the play by play of the matches), and then I saw THIS: - Shark Boy & Curry Man defeated Team 3D in a Fish Market Street Fight (Team 3D made weight so they aren't fired). The match kicks off with Shark Boy and Curry Man rolling up Team 3D and getting close pinfalls. Shark Boy and Curry Man take out Brother Ray with a high back body drop followed by a double-dropkick on Ray as well. Team 3D then start to walk up the ramp to leave when Shark Boy and Curry Man chase them down. Shark Boy gets a fish and hits Devon with it. Curry Man drops Ray face first into a table full of fish. Curry Man then drives a fish into the chest of Ray. Shark Boy hits Devon with some more shots using a fish at ringside until Devon catches him with a quick uppercut. Curry Man then puts a Ho-Ho on a fishing pole line and Ray goes after it putting it in his mouth. Curry Man with a cross-body on Ray over the top rope. Curry Man puts fishing net over Ray's head and slap Ray with another fish. Ray then fights back giving Curry Man a high back body drop over a table full of fish. Ray then starts throwing fish into the crowd and the crowd even throws them back! Ray bites one of the fish and throws it at Tenay and West. Devon sets up a table at ringside when Johnny Devine hits Shark Boy with a kendo stick. Devine gets Shark Boy wrapped up in fishing line as Team 3D double-teams Curry Man in the ring. Ray licks a fish and then low blows Curry Man with it. Devon puts Curry Man in the tree of woe and Ray hits Curry Man with a rowing paddle. A loud "We Want Tables" chant starts up. Team 3D misses a splash on Curry Man. Shark Boy is up top and takes out Team 3D with a double clothesline. Shark Boy then gets leveled with a clothesline by Devon. Devon with a reverse DDT on Curry Man. Shark Boy then drops a fish across the crotch of Ray and Curry Man connects with a cross-body on Devon. Shark Boy and Curry Man with two facebusters on Team 3D. They follow that up with two tornado DDT's on 3D as well. Curry Man gets dumped out by Ray and Ray puts Shark Boy on his shoulders. Devon is up and connects with the Doomsday clothesline. A trash can gets brought in and Curry Man hits Ray with it. Devine tries to powder Curry Man, but hits Ray instead and Devine gets sent into a table over the top rope! The finish saw Ray assist in a 3D, but Ray was still blinded and he gave Devon a 3D and Shark Boy got the pinfall for his team. WOW. That was REALLY a match. TNA is a joke. |

If the X Division is about no limits how come 3D have to lose weight. This is a serious question, I don't care about nor watch TNA but could someone explain this to me. |

It's not to compete in the X-Division. It's to compete at all. |

still doesn't make sense, if they let guys like Rikishi wrestle,t hen they should let Team 3D wrestle, since they promote the whole it's not about weight limits, but no limits... |

Oh I agree, but that was the gimmick they agreed upon for teir match against MCMG and Lethal. You should let it slide though. You said you would if they had more than 20 minutes of wrestling. And I said (to which you didn't respond) they did this last Impact. |

K, but how about wrestling and not hitting each other with fish, cages with christmas lights, or matches looking for a rat in a box. |

But if you take retarded gimmicks out of TNA, it then becomes a chore to watch it, and I feel like if there;s wrestling on TV, I should at least try and watch it if I can. If there's something retarded to laugh at, it makes the time go by really fast, and I feel like I've gained some sort of enlightenment as a result of how ridiculous what I just saw was. In short, taking the obnoxiously stupid shit would leave only mind numbingly stupid shit like TNA now deciding to focus on Joe's quest to be champion. Just. Now. Think about that. Remember how Joe's aura of badass monster who fucking chokes bitches out or KOs them into mental retardation made him the baddest motherfucker alive at a point? Notice how that's gone. And now they decide to put the focus on him. Stuff like a cage with christmas lights, or a rat in a box on a pole match takes the edge off the shit that's so dumb my head hurts. |

I actually still watch TNA despite all that stuff, I don't get the PPV's, because WWE has been scoring knockout after knockout every month, and I can't afford to pay 75 bucks a month on PPVs, since WWE has an overall higher quality, I go for their PPV, but I still watch each and every Impact in hopes they have a good match here and there and their entertainment isn't too over the top. |

I get what Simon is saying. TNA is like the life of a high school dropout with an ugly, bitchy wife, an obnoxious kid that's probably not his, and a shitty job, and the Christmas lights and rat boxes are like bottle of Jim Beam. Am I right? |

That's how I see it anyways. Also, he always talks about the more succesful guy he knows, and his wife is openly fucking that guy instead of him. |

Yea, if I had more ambition, I'd make a movie called "Tim Niel Anderson" (TNA) and it'd be about that guy. Basically, he drops out of high school (WCW closing down) then gets ambitious and tries to start his own business (a bar or something). He starts out pretty good, but soon he starts drinking his own booz. The bar across the street is flourishing and is a clean place where pretty much anyone can go. His wife goes over there a lot. The guy gets jealous, starts saying how his bar is a real bar "you can smoke in my bar, you can fight in my bar, my bar is a real bar." Both bars put on high class pool tournaments. Soon his business dwindles, he's always been known for his pool tournaments (X division) but soon his pool tournaments lack quality. He starts to clean up his bar, but fucks it up with stupid shit like posters of Steven Segal in a spedo. Eventually, he goes out of business. Luckily for him, he has a rich uncle who hires him and gives him a great opportunity to manage a hotel in an area of town with lots of business (the move to spike). At first, he does really well, but his alcoholism gets the best of him, and up come the Steven Segal posters again. Again, across the street, he has competition. This other hotel is state-of-the-art and has been the industry standard for years. He pokes fun at it, but steals their ideas, and any employee that the other hotel fires, he picks up. His wife now goes over to the other hotel and fucks all of it's employees. Even though he has all these resources, he still fails, mostly due to drunkeness. One day, CM Punk decides he needs to stay at a hotel, he takes a brief look in the hotel, sees the drunk man, the man asks him to stay, Punk says "no, because I'm straight edge and I'm better than you" then he goes across the street to the better hotel. For the sake of this, the first competition (the other bar) was ROH, and the other hotel was WWE. Was probably a little rough, if I had actually put time into it and not written it in one shot, I'm sure it would have been better. |

For the sake of WrestleTown, let's say that many foreign businessmen come over and the quality hotel gives them big rooms to conduct business, and as a result, they often do business with the quality hotel. A few from another Jap business go to the TNA hotel, and they are given janitor's closets. A few gorups of 3 japanese businessmen also occasionally go to this comedy club/hotel/casino, maybe once or twice a year, and while they don't have the money of the big 2 or even the quality hotel, they give them real big rooms and let them gamble to their heart's content. Also, the original bar's best pool player killed his wife and son with his pool cue and then beat himself to death with it, so their pool tournaments are now less intense. |

Sounds like a ratings getter to me. We should sell this idea Fox. |
