The card looks promising. I really hope a Kennedy/Jericho feud is in the making. Maybe Kennedy comes out tonight on Raw complaining about Flair, then Jericho defends Flair and tells Kennedy that he coulddn't beat Flair, but then Kennedy challenges Y2j. It would be so much better han JBL/Jericho, and better than sticking the two in the MITB match, which we all know they don't belong in. |

Did they confirm it was an 8-man MITB? I was really hoping they'd go back to six. |

Yeah I love this card, it's looking shit hot. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want Jericho and Michaels matches on the card. It looks unlikely.. thing is, Jericho doesn't need to be in MITB unless he is gonna win it, and it REALLY should go to Hardy right now. Shawn would add to MITB I guess, but I would still much prefer him more in the spotlight given his past streak of MOTN's at Wrestlemania. Arguably, he has has MOTN at every Mania for the past 5 years other than 22. Vs Jericho at Mania 19 was my MOTN. Vs Trips and Krispin Waa at Mania XX Vs Angle at Mania 21 Vs Seena at Mania 23 I'd say the last three were definatley MOTN, Jericho debatable on a hot card but it wins for me. |

Personally I don't think I'd like to see Michaels or Jericho in the MITB for the very reason that they could potentially have a shot at MOTN in singles matches. |

I'm really nervous about where Jericho, HBK, Batista, Umaga, and CM Punk are going. I really think they are better than the MITB match. I didn't mind Hardy going, but Kennedy in MITB again? That's just lowering him down the ladder more. The saving grace for me thinking this will be a good show is Flair's emotional moment retiring, Taker/Edge, MVP/Hardy, Floyd/Show, and Shelton pulling off the move that WM24 is remembered for, not Jeff Hardy. But since WWE has lowered their match count, I'm really nervous for the aforementioned names. Very nervous, and will be pissed if they make it MITB 8 men and include them. |

I really don't see how putting Kennedy in MITB is lowering him down. MITB is one of the top matches on the entire Wrestlemania card and has been for the past few years. As far as i'm concerned MITB is up there with the 2 main world title matches. |

He was in it last year. I wanted Kennedy/Jericho. Kennedy will not win MITB, which will set him back to square one. I waned a huge heel win over Jericho, or soemone else. |

Meh, I'm not concerned about Kennedy not having a high profile singles match, in MITB he has a chance to showcase himself on a high platform, MITB is sometimes the most highlighted match in WM, and as a participant in it, he has a chance to make an all-time great WM moment, whether he wins it or not is irrelevant, he did last year and nothing came out of it. I believe he will get title shots this year without it, and may even win the belt, so I'm fine with him not winning the MITB. |

Meaning making the most highlight reel moments, probably the WM 21 version, with Shelton Benjamin doing some incredible moves using the ladder. |

I have no problem with Kennedy being in MITB. Jeff fits very well in there. Umaga would be fine. CM Punk, Shelton, Kane, Finlay etc are fine. I ONLY object to Orton and Edge last year, Michaels/Batista this year, as either of them in a singles match with ANYONE ON THE ROSTER would be more significant. Seriously, Haiti in Raw thread has got the wrong impression about what most of us think - we (I speak for myself but guessing you guys too, from what I have read) do not see it as a midcard match. Upper midcard is THE position to book from though, people on the verge of becoming main event. They get the shot, can use it, BECOME main event via MITB. People already with cemented main event status, and drawing power cemented, a) are wasted not being higher on Mania card and don't need to win this title shot when they WILL be in contender matches and championship matches regularly throughout the year, as they are main event.

^^^ But you have to take into account that there are only so many slots/matches available at Wrestlemania. And If the MITB ladder match was just all midcarder/upper midcarder then what do we do with the likes of Jericho/Batista etc if there's no room for them on the card in singles matches. |

Yeah I know. All it takes is not to book Morrison and Punk though. Start the build at the Rumble, leads to either Jericho/Morrison and Shawn/Punk or Michaels/Morrison Jericho/Punk. Both would be awesome, and not take up any upper midcard talent shoved in MITB or remove people elsewhere from big matches. |

^^^^ So who would face Ric Flair then as I doubt it will be Hogan. So I assume we will be getting HBK/Flair. |

Yeah, I was kinda hoping for Hogan. If not Michaels is fine with him I guess. I just look at this card and see one shot for a ***** match - I'm almost certain that the triple threat main event will be between **** and ****1/2. The ONLY chance for a classic though, in my opinion, is Taker/Edge. And I hate putting "all the eggs in one basket" and banking on that. I know MITB will be good, Shawn Flair COULD be amazing.. but I'm talking a CLASSIC Wrestlemania match. Angle/HBK, Trips/Benoit/HBK, Steamboat/Macho, Eddie/Angle, Jericho/HBK, Foley/Edge, Austin/Rock, Austin/Hart, Ramon/HBK, TLC... there is nothing on the card other than Edge/Taker that I believe has a chance to reach the level of those matches, realistically. And there really should be a couple with a chance on every Mania card. |

So long as it happens (though I'm becoming increasingly discouraged), I think that MVP vs Matt Hardy could be a darkhorse here. Not only will it be a great in-ring match, but the history is pre-embedded. That's my biggest problem here. There aren't many matches with lots of history in them. |

Yea Wrestlemania is shaping up just nicely IMO and should be a good/great show. Umaga in a brand superiority match against a Smackdown superstar, It's gotta be Batista surely. Possibly Kane I guess but I hope it's Batista. |
