London and Styles are both guys who made ROH stand out and really got noticed there, then before they could rule ROH, went elsewhere. I wouldn't be so sure London makes more. Styles has all that merch that TNA pushes. Also, Daniels makes 6 figures, I'm sure Styles does too. London is just a jobber in WWE, so I'd guess he's in the 50K range. WWE guys don't really make that much unless you're a star. |

Yes, but job security wise, WWE hardly lets go of jobbers, since they're so important. TNA, for all we know, could be gone at any moment or could last for years to come. I'd feel much more secure being a WWE guy than a TNA guy. Also, I think AJ was always more of a TNA guy than an ROH guy. He made his name in TNA in 02-03 while also in ROH, and was one of those guys that drew people to ROH in the early days with Ki and Daniels. |

K, now do the Joe and Punk thing. Personally, I think that Punk is hands down a better wrestler in every way, Punk is a better technician, tells better stories, can work a smark crowd or the WWE crowd, and cuts better promos. I think that Punk has made better choices because he's getting pushed in the WWE, and I think that Punk has a brighter future because he's a better wrestler and in a promotion that will likely still be around (or at least, on TV) in 5 years, which I can't say about TNA. I could be biased though, I love guys who wrestle in long matches, which Punk does, and I think Joe is overrated by the smart marks, so you might have to get another opinion. |

I think Punk's more versatile than Joe for sure, and cuts WAY better promos. But as far as a epic striking match goes, Joe (well, in his peak of 04-06 anyways) was untouchable at that and producing drama for the big match. It's actually kind of sad to long time fans, given that Joe should be doing so much better than he is, as TNA basically killed his aura (which was a main thing in him always coming off as The Fucking Man) by making him look retarded. If Joe went to the WWE, I believe he'd be doing pretty good for himself, but not at Punk's level, considering that Punk has more of a WWE look (as in, not fat). I LOVE the story of Punk saying he'd sign with TNA if they gave him and Joe 30 minutes at Slammiversary 2005. They didn't, so he didn't. |

Yea, but that's just it with Joe, I think he's only at his best when he's protected by booking and in their with great wrestlers. He excells when he's in there with people who can go, I can't remember one match where I thought "wow, Joe really elevated this guy" like I did when I watched Danielson vs Go (or at least the allusion of it) or Danielson vs Strong. Also, Danielson was sort of like the DDP of ROH for a while, being over and sort of his own attraction, could also be likened to 2006 WWE Angle. Joe was given the belt and protected very well for 2 years, and I think that's why he's a bit overrated because I don't think he'd be seen as anywhere near as good if he wasn't so protected. Like with Punk, you put him anywhere on the card and he'll make it real interesting. |

Joe vs Strong, TPI 2004 Joe vs Whitmer, Hell Freezes Over Joe vs Hero, IWA-MS 2004 when Hero wasn't very good Joe vs Nigel in 2005 Joe vs Lethal Danielson's also been very well protected since late 2005 now, and I think having himself say he;s the best wrestler in the world and having the company treat it as fact convinced people he was, same with the Briscoes. It's annoying as fuck, but it's awesome marketing. See: people who thought The Eliminators were the best team on earth in 1996 because Heyman said so. |

Ok, Shelley is my favourite indy wrestler. His style, charisma, tweenerness, etc. That's purely on work. Not booking, not mic, just ring work. Give me 5 indy guys similar to Shelley in terms of style that you think I would like. You don't have to give reasons behind them if you don't want, I'm just keen to research and find matches from people I'm likely to love. |

Chris Hero = charisma and mat skillz (beyond Shelley's) Tyler Black Austin Aries Chuck Taylor = as far as being a smarmy douche, Chuckie is probably the best on the indies at that. all of these either have Shelley's charisma, ability to string together quality stuff, or being able to adapt very well. Other than that, I'd say either El Generico for adapting to most anything very well and stringing together great shit OR Jimmy Jacobs, just as an interesting study given that Shelley and Jacobs broke into the business together. Think of them as like a Michigan version of Punk and Cabana, so...awesome, but not as awesome. |

lol I REALLY doubt Daniels makes 6 figures just for TNA. MAYBE when you factor in all his indy bookings but I really dont see how he makes 6 figures in TNA. |

Daniels said that in a promo to get cheap heat. That's never been actually reported. |

I wouldn't doubt it, 100,000 dollars probably isn't all that hard for TNA to pay him, especially not since he was one of their big 3 X guys. If not, I'm sure he makes at least 75,000. Especially since they're doing house shows now. |

What matches are u most hyped to see Kingston in ROH? I personally think him and Stevens could have some pretty good stuff along with King/Roderick and King/Necro obviously. |

I'm most excited to see the same immediate turnaround that ROHBots had on Steen last year, just to further prove thee insane hypocrisy of the fanbase. I'm probably the most excited for Kingston/Danielson. I'd think of it as Kingston/Hero light, given that King and Danielson don't hate each other yet. I could see a strike-based match based on Danielson not thinking Kingston is good enough to face him, let alone be in ROH. I really think that something surprisingly great could happen with Kingston/Jigsaw. For all of Kingston's arrogance and dickish tendencies...he never turned his back on his trainers and left the place that made him as soon as something better came along. And I think that could amp up the violence in Kingston. I also want to see him face students, and give the Tim Donst rub to Rhettski the Jettski, who imo, if he came from any other normal wrestling school, that...you know, does good with their students, then he'd be really great right now, instead of just very good. |

I also want a Kingston vs Jimmy Jacobs brawl, as it'd be the two best brawlers who wrestle with boots on facing off. Speaking of awesome Jacobs brawls, him vs Whitmer from the IWA-MS 100th show was just so so so so fucking awesome. Maybe my new MOTY. |
