WGCL in Atlanta is reporting that former WCW wrestler Chase Tatum passed away on Sunday as a result of an apparent drug overdose. Tatum was 34. Tatum had retired from wrestling following a 2 1/2 year career in recovering from back surgery to repair a degenerative disc. Tatum's father stated Chase had become dependent on painkillers and had intentions to enter a rehab facility. Wrestleview.com. Excuse my ignorance but I don't even know who he is. Still sad though. |

Well isn't that a bitch. YouTube and wanting to disassociate themselves from dead drug addict wrestlers. What has the internet come to? |

Take it with a grain of salt, obviously, but someone posting as a cowriter of the movie Who's Your Caddy? described him as the "sweetest biggest man" he knows, and as a "gentle giant." Sounds like he might have been a cool dude. Sad loss, in any respect. |
