WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio, Since 6/20/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Raw June 28th, 2010 Philadelphia, PA Cole and Lawler read a statement saying the NXT group will have consequences and Vince's condition was being kept private. Sheamus comes out and gets on the mic. He says he's watched the footage of last week, and he feels that as the WWE Champion, he needs to make a statement on behalf of the company to reassure everyone. And that statement is, "THE CHAMP IS HERE!" FUCK YEAH SHEAMUS! He says regardless of what happened last week, he had John Cena beaten before the Nexus got involved and he would have beaten him eventually. He says Cena used his title rematch and was now no longer the #1 Contender and he would have to go to the back of the line! John Cena comes out now and says the Nexus has given him the belt and kept it on him last week. He says he had a target on him because of that title, and asks Sheamus who he think they'll come for next and gives him the horrible giant jar of mayonnaise name. Cena says he knows he can fight, and he says he needs his help against Nexus, and he calls them out. The computer rings in though, and Cole says the Anon GM says he will take action against the Nexus next week, and Wade Barrett will meet with WWE officials tonight. He says if any Nexus member makes contact with a WWE superstar, they will be terminated, and any WWE Superstar initiates contact, they will be suspended. Cena then tries to get ANOTHER title shot, but Anonymous says no, and books Sheamus vs. Mark Henry. BOLOGNA FUDGE AND MUSTURD, MY LIFE IS BEING RUINED BY THE INTERNET! Cena tells Cole to just give the GM his e-mail address. Anon then books Sheamus/Cena for the WWE Title at Money in the Bank in a steel cage match. That is very logical. Good job, booking team. The Hart Dynasty and Natalya come out, but the Usos come out and they lay them out. Match #1: Vladimir Kozlov vs. Santino Marella [If Santino Wins, They Become a Tag Team] Vlad wins in 90 seconds. Fun while it lasted. *1/4 Regal comes out as Kozlov leaves, and they shake hands. Regal then beats on Santino in the ring, but Kozlov runs back in for the save! Kozlov then carries Santino to the back. included Matthews conducting a backstage interview with the Great Khali & Runjin Singh regarding what should be done to Nexus, with Singh then translating that Khali is a big dumb giant, he was tired of protecting him, and that Khali would run if Nexus showed up; Singh then walked off featured an in-ring promo by guest host Rob Zombie in which he announced Randy Orton, WWE US Champion Mike Mizanin, R-Truth, Chris Jericho, Evan Bourne, Ted Dibiase Jr., John Morrison, and Edge would be the eight participants in the Money in the Bank match; Edge then interrupted on the big screen, saying he hadn't seen Rob since he dropped his theme song years before; after Zombie left the ring, Edge reminded everyone that he won the first Money in the Bank match and cashed it in on Cena; footage then aired of Edge winning Money in the Bank at WrestleMania 21 and winning the WWE World Title from Cena at New Year's Revolution 06; Edge then said he did the same thing against the Undertaker and that he owned Money in the Bank; moments later, Cole received another e-mail which read the eight participants would face off in a 4-on-4 tag team match later in the show Match #2: Sheamus vs. Mark Henry Fine enough 2 minute match. They did some good stuff, but didn't get much time to really show off what they're capable of. Sheamus wins with the Brogue Kick. *3/4 In the back, Josh interviews the Nexus, apart from Wade. Tarver says just because they can't touch WWE superstars tonight doesn't mean they can't make an impact, and Skip punches out a stagehand. Ricky Steamboat comes out to promote his new DVD with Lawler. Michael Hayes, Arn Anderson, Dean Malenko, and Mike Rotunda get brought out by Lawler to the ring. They all praise Steamboat as one of the best and Rotunda tells Ricky to pay the taxes on the money he'll make from this. Hayes says he really just came out here to do the Freebird strut and moonwalk. Steamboat thanks everyone, BUT THE NEXUS WALKS OUT! OH SHIT! They surround the ring, BUT THE LEGENDS DECIDE TO FIGHT! FUCK YEAH! Skip and Young pull Arn out though, and they throw him into the post. It's not 6 on 5, and they have a much easier time getting rid of everyone else. Malenko is next out, and then Rotunda, and then they all got in and swarmed the other three and laid them out. They beat on Steamboat last, and his selling still was the best part of this show. Fantastic angle. Coming back, the legends are stretchered out and Josh has replaced Lawler. Match #3: Alicia Fox/Maryse vs. Eve/Gail Kim Yet again, total nothing match. Fox beats Gail with DAT SCISSORS KICK. 3/4* Match #4: Randy Orton/Evan Bourne/John Morrison/R-Truth vs. Edge/The Miz/Chris Jericho/Ted DiBiase This had enough good guys in this to make it good, although most of the talent was on the face team. Bourne was again spectacular both on offense and when being beaten down. None of the heels were overly great, but this was of the right length where they could get in and out quickly and not expose their weaknesses. Bourne ruled as face in peril. Awesome finishing run at the end, and Orton beats Ted Jr. with the RKO. *** They all kept fighting. Miz climbed up the ladder, but Orton shoved him off and climbed up to unhook the briefcase to end RAWR. |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio, Since 6/20/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE NXT June 29th, 2010 Wilkes-Barre, PA featured an opening segment on the stage in which Ashley Valence introduced the rookies before speaking about the first poll which would take place later in the night, then reminding the rookies that the winner of season 1, Wade Barrett, was never ranked below #2; Ashley then said the wrestler placed last in the poll would be eliminated; Matt Striker then introduced the keg carry competition, saying the winner would win immunity from elimination later in the show; during the segment, Kaval opted not to participate, noting it wasn't a competition in the ring; Lucky Cannon eventually won with 12.7 seconds (UGH) A video airs on Percy Watson. OH YEAH! Match #1: MVP vs. Husky Harris This was not good at all, and at like 9 minutes, dragged on forever. Just no chemistry, and the rare kind of bad match where everything just looks completely off. Completely missed boots by MVP and then he got knocked loopy and it got worse. MVP wins with a horrible looking roll up. 3/4* Husky refuses to shake hands post-match. Match #2: Kaval/Michael McGillicutty/Lucky Cannon vs. Alex Riley/Titus O'Neil/Eli Cottonwood Acceptable 5 minute trios match. Kaval pretty much carries it completely and he beats A-Ri with the Warrior's Way. **1/4 RAW REBOUND! The poll is held and Titus O'Neil is at #8 and eliminated. He says life is a game and you need to MAKE IT A WIN! ;__; |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio, Since 6/20/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Smackdown July 2nd, 2010 Wilkes-Barre, PA featured an opening in-ring promo by Jack Swagger in which he discussed his attack the previous week on the Big Show and the upcoming Money in the Bank event, noting his own Money in the Bank win at WrestleMania and then winning the World Heavyweight Title; Swagger then said he was cheated out of the title at Fatal 4 Way and no one cared; Show then interrupted, saying Swagger should have finished the job he started the previous week; Show then said he would come break Swagger's jaw, with Cody Rhodes then attacking Show from behind and helping Swagger double team him on the floor and in the ring; eventually, World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio Jr. ran out to make the save, clearing both Swagger and Rhodes from the ring Coming back, the SD MITB guys were announced as: Show, Kane, Kofi, Christian, Matt Hardy, and Cody Rhodes In the back, Vickie talks to Dolph and says that if he beats Kofi tonight, he'll get an IC Title shot. TONIGHT: Rey/Show vs. Swagger/Cody Match #1: Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero Good 4 minutes, but there's no reason this couldn't have gotten longer. Dolph carries it completely with his amazing matwork early on and then huge bumping and great offense. Kofi wins, horribly, with the Trouble in Paradise. **1/2 Post-match, Vickie walks out on Dolph. In the back, Punk talks to the SES and he says he has the situation under control, but his arm is in a sling. Serena says they lost control and Luke tries to calm her down. Punk says Luke will take care of Kane tonight, and she says if they don't, then she will. featured an in-ring segment of the Peep Show with Hardy as the guest, and three ladders set up in the ring and the Money in the Bank briefcase suspended from overhead; the two discussed Hardy's history in WWE and the fact the two have participated in Money in the Bank but neither has won, with Christian saying they both deserved to win but only Christian would; Christian said neither of them were "chosen" like Drew McIntyre, to be handed opportunity after opportunity without deserving it, and both men followed by simultaneously saying they would win; moments later, Christian went to leave the ring but turned back around and walked into a punch from Hardy, who then threw Christian into one of the ladders ADR vignette. In the back, Cody combs his eyebrows and interviews himself with the comb. Match #2: Kane vs. Luke Gallows w/ CM Punk This is about 90 seconds of Kane offense before the masked SES man comes out to interfere for the DQ. * Kane lays him out and then gets rid of Gallows. He brings Punk in, but Serena comes out and yells to stop. She says on May 31st, when Taker was attacked, CM Punk wasn't there, because he was saving her. She shows clips of her at a bar drinking with a guy until Punk came over and stopped it. Kane shoved Punk away and walked off, and Punk yelled at Serena for showing that. Before his match, Chavo gets on the mic and says Vickie's boy toy couldn't get it done, but after his win, he would deserve an IC Title shot. Match #3: MVP vs. Chavo Guerrero This is about 2 minutes of an MVP showcase. He wins with the Play of the Day. *3/4 THIS WEEK IN WWE HISTORY: Luger slams Yokozuna Match #4: Michelle McCool vs. Kelly Kelly Both tag partners are there. Acceptable for a minute and then K2 wins again. 1/2* RAW REBOUND! Another ADR vignette. Match #5: Rey Mysterio/The Big Show vs. Jack Swagger/Cody Rhodes This was good stuff. Not super long or in depth or anything, but a well done match for 7 minutes. Rey vs. Cody was a really great pairing. There was a big quality gap when Rey was in vs. when Show was in, since Show is not nearly as good as a face. Rey was a good face in peril. Swagger got DQ'd for refusing to break the Ankle Lock on Rey when Rey had gotten to the ropes. **1/2 Swagger keeps the hold on until Big Show comes in. Swagger then pulls Rey out to the other side and he slides out to the floor. He keeps it on, and pulls Rey out to the floor in the hold before Show goes out and Swagger finally leaves. Rey's ankle is hurt. |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio, Since 6/20/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Raw July 5th, 2010 Nashville, TN The Nexus is in the ring to open the show. Wade says he was told by the Anon GM to get to this ring along with the Nexus to open the show to answer for their consequences. Wade says they cannot reveal why they did what they did to Vince, but it needed to happen, because it's all part of a much bigger picture. He says nobody can control them, and things have changed very very quickly. Skip says what they did last week wasn't a plan, it was for fun. Skip brags about the loophole they found and says people won't admit it, but they loved it. The GM rings in and says no Nexus member will compete for a title until further notice and the ban on physical contact between them and the roster has been lifted. John Cena comes out and says until now, Nexus hasn't been in a fair fight and Orton, Morrison, Truth, Bourne, and The Hart Dynasty all came out. They walked down, but Sheamus, Jericho, Edge, Ted, The Miz, and The Usos attacked them from behind. The heels and faces fight in the ring, and Nexus leaves. The faces clear the ring, and Cena asks what that was about. Sheamus says the Nexus has acted against Cena, not against them. He says he doesn't know their agenda, but every one of them supports their actions so far against Cena and Bret Hart. Sheamus says they decline to join his fight against Nexus and if anyone in the ring had any brains, they would too. Orton asks if Edge forgot how the Nexus jumped them at the PPV, and suggests they all fight now. Anon GM rings in and books Miz/Truth, Morrison/Ted, and later tonight, he wants Cena and Barrett to shake hands and call a truce and "that's the bottom line, because the GM said so", and if Cena doesn't, there will be consequences. Match #1: John Morrison vs. Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse Much better than their first match in May or whenever, probably because it was only 3 minutes. It still wasn't actually any good. Maryse distracted JoMo by being hot as fuck and Ted hit Dream Street for the win. *3/4 Match #2: Santino Marella/Vladimir Kozlov vs. William Regal/The Great Khali w/ Runjin Singh This is 90 seconds, but it's all Regal, so it's at least good. Vlad beats Regal with the URanage. *1/4 Post-match, Khali hits Regal with the Baba Chop. A recap airs of the Nexus attack last week. In the back, Arn Anderson cuts a fucking Arn Anderson promo. He says Ricky is bad, and it's serious. Ricky is 57 and Ricky is one of the good guys. Sheamus shows up and Arn tells Josh to get out. Sheamus mocks Arn and says he used to be The Enforcer, but he's just an old man. Arn says he used to be a lot of things, but he was never blind and stupid. Arn asks why he doesn't get what a hostile takeover is, and why he thinks he's safe just because he's the WWE Champion. If he doesn't put his problems with all those guys aside, this company will go up in smoke, because the fire's already been set. Sheamus says he has no weaknesses, and as WWE Champion, they have to get along with him. Sheamus says Nexus is smarter than the Four Horsemen, and they'll stay out of his way. Arn tells him to keep thinking that, and while he might be doing great now as the champion of a thriving company, but if this thing gets going and nobody stops the bleeding, he'll just be a great white shark swimming around an empty mudhole. Sheamus says he doesn't need anybody and Arn shakes his head and walks off. Fuck yeah, Arn. Miz vs. Truth is up now, but before the match, Miz hits Truth with the mic. He throws him to the floor and beats on his arm with some awesome stuff. Trainers and referees came out to stop Miz, and they tended to Truth's arm. Miz got on the mic and says that will happen to anyone else who gets in his way. Edge comes out for the Cutting Edge, and ladders and the briefcase are set up. Edge says he's smarter than everyone and says Nexus could be powerful allies. He says they need direction and leadership, which he can provide in exchange for 7 allies going into Money in the Bank. He talks about the MITB thing and brings out his guest, Evan Bourne, except Chris Jericho comes out. He says he will not take a backseat to anyone and if anyone should lead the Nexus, it's him, because he mentored Barrett on NXT, and he's the one responsible for their success. They start fighting, until Evan Bourne comes out to fight them both off. The Anon GM rings in and books Bourne/Orton vs. Edge/Jericho. Match #3: Randy Orton/Evan Bourne vs. Edge/Chris Jericho Good, not great. Hurts that Edge and Jericho are past their primes now. Bourne worked most of this though, so it was good. Finishing run was good stuff. Orton has a good hot tag. Edge and Jericho break down arguing again, and Edge Spears Jericho. Edge walks out, and Bourne hits Jericho with the Air Bourne for the win. **3/4 Post-match, Orton hits Bourne with the RKO. In the back, Slater, Otunga, and Tarver say they did what they did at Fatal 4 Way as a statement and they have nothing against him, and they promise not to interfere at Money In The Bank. Otunga says they don't know what could happen in the truce tonight, and there's a chance that the champion after the Cage Match would be in a very vulnerable position for whoever wins Raw's MITB match. Cole and Lawler say Truth is now out of the MITB Ladder Match. SUMMERSLAM RECALL: Bret vs. Bulldog, 1992 Match #4: Alicia Fox [c] vs. Eve [WWE Divas Championship] Only 90 seconds, so not good or anything. Alicia fakes a knee injury and then pulls off a flash DAT SCISSORS KICK to win. Fuck yeah fake injuries. 3/4* Wade Barrett and John Cena both come out for the truce. Wade says he won't sugarcoat what they've done, but it's all had a purpose and it's merely unfortunate that he got caught in the middle of it, and they can shake hands like men right now. Wade says Cena is not in their future plans and he wants to shake his hand to move on and to put this behind them. He says the Nexus can make his life easy or they can make it even harder. Cena says all a man has is his word, and goes to shake his hand, but Cena pulls it away and says he's going after Nexus and he'll take them down with or without any help. He goes to leave, but Wade says the fact that he's walking shows that they took it easy on him, unlike Vince or Bret Hart. Wade offers his hand again and tells Cena to take it or face the consequences. Cena shakes it, but then lifts him up for the FU, but The Nexus runs out to attack. The babyfaces of Raw come out to fight them off, but they get Darren Young alone. Cena puts on the STFU and won't let go, so Anon GM books Cena vs. all of Nexus next week in a handicap match. Cena keeps it up and just destroys Young on the floor. He hurls the steps right at his face and to his credit, Young takes it like a fucking champ. Cena throws him over the announce table and wrecks shit to end the show. |

Joe wins with his half assed Neckbreaker. *1/2 Highlights air of Titus O'Neil MAKING IT A WIN. Match #2: The Miz vs. Kaval This ruled. Miz let Kaval pretty much do his shit, and it was awesome. Miz did his generic and good basic heeling and Kaval broke out all his really fucking great spots. Miz then knocked him off the top and he hit midsection-first on the turnbuckle and connecting bolt thing, and Miz then won with the Skull Crushing Finale. **3/4 A video airs on Eli Cottonwood. RAW REBOUND! A video airs on Husky Harris. Match #3: Cody Rhodes/Husky Harris vs. Mark Henry/Lucky Cannon Everyone but Cannon was good for the 3 minutes this went on, but it had far too much Cannon in it. Cody beats him with the Cross Rhodes. *3/4 |

Goldust vs. Zack Ryder, Superstars (July 8th) They get 7 minutes and it rules. Mostly a Goldust carryjob, but Zack doesn't ouytright suck or anything, so much as it's Goldust responsible for all the really good stuff going on. Awesome bumping and selling. His comebacks rule, especially the punches, again. Shame Zack didn't get a longer control segment, but this still ruled. Ryder wins with the Ruff Ryder. **3/4 |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio, Since 6/20/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Smackdown July 9th, 2010 Atlanta, GA TONIGHT: Swagger vs. Big Show T'Lo is in the ring to open the show and he brings out Drew McIntyre. He says his visa issues have been worked out and he apologized for his recent actions towards Teddeh. T'Lo says he's a liar and he's only saying that now because Vince McMahon isn't around. Drew says he'll nominate Teddeh for the 2011 Hall of Fame, and they would both have a huge weekend, with T'Lo going in the HOF and him main eventing WrestleMania as World Heavyweight Champion. T'Lo shows clips of Drew making him get down on his knees and tells Drew to do the same and makes him beg for a spot in the MITB match. Drew does it and says it is an honor and privilege to work for Teddeh. T'Lo says that alone won't get him in, and if he can beat Kofi tonight, he'll get in. Match #1: MVP vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero [MITB Qualifying Match] Good three way. Nothing special, generic three way spots, but everyone put on their working boots. Vickie distracts MVP and Dolph gets the Sleeper for the win. **3/4 ADR vignette. In the back, Rey is getting his ankle taped, but Jack Swagger barges in and attacks the ankle. He puts on the Ankle Lock, and drags Rey through the back all the way to the stage in a really really fucking great idea. Big Show then comes out and Swagger bails out and Rey is tended to. Match #2: The Gatecrashers vs. Christian/Matt Hardy This doesn't even go 3 minutes, so it is not much. Christian shoves Matt off the top and walks out on him in revenge for last week. Matt is then beat after the Reverse DDT and Flying Elbow. *1/2 Match #3: Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston [MITB Qualifying Match] Inexplicably, they have ANOTHER great match. No limbwork or anything, just a ton of shockingly great spots pulled off really crisply. Drew has a lot of unique counters using the ring as a weapon and Kofi took some killer bumps off of this kind of offense and Drew really reigned in all of Kofi's contrived stuff. They fought on the apron and Drew shoved Kofi back into the post. He pulled him in and hit the Future Shock to win. *** CM Punk and Luke Gallows come out to the ring, and Punk calls Serena out to the ring so she can explain herself. She says this has been the hardest week of her life, and says Punk is everything to her and she made a mistake trying to protect him. Gallows says she's supposed to set an example for all women, and if it was up to him, she'd be kicked out of the SES. Punk says it's his decision to make and he forgives her. She says she'll never fail him again and he says she better not, and they hug. Match #4: Cody Rhodes vs. JTG WHOOOOOOOOOA OH YOU'RE ONLY SMOKE AND MIRRORS! This was like 2 minutes and not much. Cody wins with Cross Rhodes. *1/2 In the back, Big Show says he's going to make Swagger suffer like Rey is suffering. Match #5: The Big Show vs. Jack Swagger This is about 4 minutes, so it never really develops beyond Show beating up Swagger and then Swagger targeting the ankle. He gets Show to the stage and attacks his leg more and they're both counted out. ** Swagger keeps on the attack and leaves to the back. Show is helped by EMTs and what not. In the back, Kane grabs Swagger by the throat and drags him into a room with him. |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio, Since 6/20/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Raw July 12th, 2010 Lexington, KY It's announced that Darren Young is out of the match tonight due to injuries Cena gave him, so it's now just 6 on 1. John Cena comes out and cuts a lame John Cena Promo about Sheamus, said they're all in this together, and then moved onto his match tonight. The Nexus, minus Darren Young, came out and Wade said Cena would get what he deserved tonight for not listening to the GM and then Anon GM rang in to tell everyone that anyone who interferes in the handicap match tonight would be fired, and Nexus would have to tag in and out of that match, or they'd be fired too. Eve comes out to do commentary. Match #1: Alicia Fox vs. Gail Kim Once again, this is only 90 seconds or so before Alicia wins. Alicia/Eve is announced for MITB during the match. 1/2* TONIGHT: Orton vs. Edge Match #2: The Hart Dynasty/Natalya vs. The Usos/Tamina Only like 2 minutes, so it's not much either. The womens stuff was pretty shitty, and the Usos again did nothing to impress. One of them beats DH Smith with a Flying Splash off the top. 3/4* In the back, Wade finds Jericho and thanks him for everything he did for him as his mentor. Jericho says he's doing everything now that he always told him to do, and they shake hands and part ways. Jericho walks off, and Wade then finds Yoshi Tatsu. He talks about him being one of the guys to save the say last week, and the Nexus all comes over. Yoshi says John Cena is his friend and they all beat the shit out of him for thinking he can speak. Before the end of 2011, Cena was really a shitty friend. included an in-ring promo by Ted Dibiase Jr., in a suit, alongside Maryse in which he called them the Million $ Couple before explaining that it was he and the Money in the Bank briefcase which hung above the ring; as Dibiase explained to Maryse that him winning Money in the Bank would benefit her and lead to him being WWE World Champion, John Morrison interrupted and insulted Maryse before Dibiase eventually jumped him; Morrison soon gained the upper hand but Maryse pulled Dibiase out of the ring as Morrison attempted Starship Pain In the back, Florence Henderson is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_lUGHZaAjc A video airs on Edge's MITB win and cash-in. Match #3: Edge vs. Randy Orton This wasn't great, but that was a foregone conclusion. Jericho comes out to distract Orton and Edge wins with the Edge O'Matic. ** Jericho gets in and he hits Edge with the Codebreaker. Orton then hits him with the RKO. Evan Bourne runs out and fights off Orton. He goes up for the Air Bourne, but Orton intercepts with the RKO out of mid-air! In the back, Morrison is walking, but the Nexus comes over. Skip asks if he thinks he's some kind of hero for last week. Morrison attacks them first, but they beat him down and lay him out. Mark Henry is announced as Truth's replacement in MITB. Match #4: The Miz vs. Mark Henry This goes for about a minute before it stops being a match. They fight on the floor and Miz rams MOK into the GM's podium. He then beats him with a trash can and leaves Mark laying and the match is just kind of over now. Miz being a chickenshit who sort of lucks into big wins as often as he actually earns them is awesome, but him as a serious killer just doesn't work. 3/4* Florence Henderson comes out to be ring announcer for the next match. Match #5: Santino Marella/Vladimir Kozlov/Goldust/The Great Khali vs. William Regal/Zack Ryder/Primo/Doink The Clown This is under 2 minutes, but made worth it by the sequence of Regal looking at his partners in Brady Bunch fashion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zL6Bs6BN1D4 . Great comedy match, and my only complaint is that it means no good Superstars stuff from Regal or Goldust this week. Khali beats Doink with the Baba Chop. Ten million stars A video airs on CM Punk's MITB cash-ins. In the back, Evan Bourne is icing his neck and Nexus comes over and they lay him out too. Sheamus walks by and laughs, but they stare him down. Skip lunges towards him, and Sheamus just takes off sprinting away from them. Match #6: John Cena vs. Wade Barrett/Skip Sheffield/Justin Gabriel/Heath Slater/Michael Tarver/David Otunga This was fucking great. They got 7 minutes and it all worked really well. Everyone on the Nexus side got to show off their stuff against Cena in one on one spurts before the handicap thing came into it. The beatdown on Cena was great, and Cena was on his game in terms of bumping and selling to really get them over. He had a good comeback, but then got hit with the Nexus Finisher Train for the win. **3/4 They tried to keep it up, but Cena got a chair and he went nuts on Slater with it on the floor! He cleared the ring, but they then surrounded him again. They all went to get in to get him, BUT SHEAMUS RAN OUT TO MAKE THE SAVE! FUCK YEAH SHEAMUS! |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Rey Mysterio, Since 6/20/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Smackdown July 16th, 2010 Louisville, KY Match #1: Kofi Kingston vs. Cody Rhodes This was good for the 7 minutes it lasted. Not amazing, since Cody isn't able to reign Kofi in to the extent that Drew and Ziggler are. Unfortunately, Kane comes out and kills them both to end the match. **1/2 Kane says Jack Swagger is a liar and he would condemn him to hell later. TONIGHT: Christian/Drew, Matt/Ziggler In the back, Josh interviewed Rey about his ankle and he says he will be at MITB to defend this title and wouldn't give Swagger the satisfaction. In the back, Swagger is on the phone with someone, and they say they'll be here soon and Swagger says he can help him with Kane. A video airs on Edge's MITB win in a rare 5 man MITB ladder match and cash in. Match #2: Christian vs. Drew McIntyre Really good match, but not quite as good as their matches a bit later in the summer. Never quite gets great, due to a lack of any real focus in Drew's control segment. They still have good chemistry and they have a great finishing run, but they'll have better matches with more limb-based stuff. Drew wins with the Future Shock. **3/4 ADR vignette. included an in-ring segment with CM Punk, Luke Gallows, Serena, & the masked man in which Punk bragged about his Money in the Bank victories and said he was leading a superior society; moments later, the Big Show interrupted by bringing out a step ladder and a larger ladder, said Punk was trying to put the crowd to sleep and he was there to entertain; Punk's group went to the floor as Show discussed his participation in Money in the Bank; moments later, Show went to climb the ladder but broke the bottom rung; he then called for his own special ladder to be brought out which weighed 350lbs. and could carry 2,000lbs.; Punk interrupted by comparing Show to King Kong and that if Kane hadn't injured him, he would be the one winning Money in the Bank; moments later, Gallows & the masked man attacked Show as Punk went to climb Show's ladder as the briefcase hung overhead; Show then threw Gallows and the masked man to the floor, followed Punk up the ladder, held him in place, and took off Punk's mask, revealing his bald head Match #3: Chris Masters/Kelly Kelly vs. Layla/Trent Baretta The Masters/Trent stuff was quite good, but it was like 1/3rd of the action in this 90 second match. Rosa came out jumping rope to distract Layla and Kelly got a roll up to win. 3/4* Another ADR vignette. Match #4: Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero vs. Matt Hardy Great Dolph carryjob. Awesome control segment, bumping, etc. Matt managed to not totally suck in the finishing run and he let Dolph guide the match. Vickie distracts Mott and the Peace Zig ends the match. **3/4 A limo arrives AND FUCKING BUNKHOUSE BUCK GETS OUT AND JACK SWAGGER CALLS HIM DAD! YES! Jack Swagger and his dad come out to the ring and they showed photos of them working out together, fishing together, and in a chicken wing eating competition together and Jack said it was on the weekend that Undertaker was attacked, so that's his alibi. Kane came out and called him a liar and attacked him. Swagger put on the Ankle Lock, but Rey came out to save, doing a horrible job selling the ankle. He hits Jack with the 619 and Jack's dad gets hit with the Chokeslam and then a Tombstone. |

He says he's not stupid, but his pride made him believe he was untouchable. But then he stared into their eyes and he realized that wasn't true and he realized Nexus is a threat to everyone, so he chose a side. He says Cena will have no excuses tonight and he'll finally get the respect he deserves for beating John Cena. He says he hates Cena for making fun of his beautiful Irish skin and his accent. He then promises a beating, etc. Match #2: Alicia Fox [c] vs. Eve [WWE Divas Championship] Alicia had some surprisingly good back work, but that was the extent of the quality in this. Alicia wins with DAT SCISSORS KICK. * Match #3: The Hart Dynasty [c] vs. The Usos [WWE Unified Tag Team Championship] The women are there too. Luckily this only got about 6 minutes, and as such, there wasn't that much weak stuff from the Harts. Good FH matwork, Kidd's highspots all looked good. The Usos are perfectly acceptable now, and it's just that they lack any spark. Their offense looks good and they bump well, but they do nothing great. Kidd had a fine hot tag and they won with the Sharpshooter. **1/2 Hype video for Rey/Swagger. Match #4: Rey Mysterio [c] vs. Jack Swagger [World Heavyweight Championship] They had a focus on the ankle and Rey was actually selling tonight, so this was really great. Rey's selling isn't usually the kind of classical selling that I like and borders on the ridiculous kind of bullshit indy selling where they sell the limb for a moment and then do a ton of shit using it, but he does enough little things that it still works. Like not being able to immediately jump to the middle for a springboard and having to use his arms to get himself up instead. Swagger's work on the ankle was awesome. They did a great job of getting across the idea that without being able to build up momentum since he can't run a lot, Rey was a lot easier to control. Rey has a flashback to 2006 at the end and steals some Eddie stuff by rolling out of the ankle lock without his boot, and he then gets a cradle to win. ***1/4 Swagger puts on the Ankle Lock again until Kane comes out! He chases Swagger to the back, BUT THEN HE TURNS BACK TO THE RING AND CASHES IN HIS BRIEFCASE! Match #5: Rey Mysterio [c] vs. Kane [World Heavyweight Championship] Kane wins the belt with the Chokeslam to finally end the 12 year championship drought. FUCK YEAH KANE In the back, Edge and Jericho talk and both say if they win, they'll cash it in tonight. Match #6: Layla [c] vs. Kelly Kelly [WWE Women's Championship] Michelle and Tiffany are there. This was a fine enough 3 minutes, and Layla has improved a ton. She blocks a sunset flip for the win. *1/4 Match #7: Randy Orton vs. Edge vs. Chris Jericho vs. The Miz vs. Evan Bourne vs. John Morrison vs. Mark Henry vs. Ted DiBiase [Money In The Bank Ladder Match] -Everyone goes for MOK -Bourne really carries this as the only one doing actual crisp and new stuff with the ladders early on and taking huge bumps -MOK then starts breaking out amazing big man offense -Edge yanks Bourne off the ladder, but he turns it into a Huracanrana -Orton hits the Elevated DDT using the ladder rungs -Morrison breaks out some awesome PARKOUR~ shit -Morrison gets trapped in between a ladder, lying across the middle. Hard to explain, but awesome -Everyone hits MOK with their finishes on the floor -Orton goes RKO crazy -In the lamest MITB finish yet, Miz just sort of shoves Orton off the ladder to the ropes and gets the briefcase down Best MITB in 2010. *** Post-match, Miz gets on the mic and says he's made believers out of all the critics and he is a future WWE Champion, because he's The Miz and he's awesome. SUMMERSLAM: 8/15! Hype for the main event. Match #8: Sheamus [c] vs. John Cena [WWE Championship - Steel Cage Match] These two have issues filling time together when it goes 10-15 minutes, so them getting 23 minutes in this is probably a bad decision. They still have a lot of good stuff together and I would never call it a bad match, but it's just kind of a match that's happening. This being a cage match makes a ton of sense, but they barely used the cage at all until the last 5 minutes or so. The Nexus came out to ringside and has a bolt cutter, but referees came out to take it away. They then tried to intimidate the ref, but he threw the keys into the crowd. Cena tried to get out, but he had to fight off Nexus members, allowing Sheamus to climb over and out the other side to win. **3/4 Sheamus flees with the WWE Title into the crowd. Cena is pissed and he kills Tarver and Young with the steel steps before leaving. |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Kane, Since 7/18/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Raw July 19th, 2010 Tulsa, OK Match #1: Randy Orton vs. Edge vs. Chris Jericho [#1 Contender's Match] This took a while to get going, since Jericho and Edge aren't really good anymore and Orton is hit and miss in 2010, but the second half of this was quality stuff. These three are still good at doing big finishing runs, if nothing else, and they did a great job pacing it. Orton hits Edge with the RKO for the win. **3/4 After the commercial, Edge is still in the ring, and he calls out Jericho. He comes back out and Edge says this has to end, after 11 years of history. Jericho grabs the mic from him and says he could have the Nexus come out here at the snap of his fingers as Wade's former NXT pro, and they would take years off of Edge's career. Edge says the Nexus would rather have him lead them and says they wouldn't like Jericho claiming all their success for himself, and The Nexus then comes out. Wade says the Nexus would be lucky to call either man an ally, but they circle around Edge and Skip hits a waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better Spear on Edge than Edge could ever dream of. Jericho puts Edge in the Walls, BUT THE NEXUS CIRCLES AROUND THEM! OH SHIT! Wade says Edge had a point too, AND NEXUS LAYS OUT JERICHO! Wade stands over Jericho and says he didn't teach him anything. Awesome first half hour. In the back, Sheamus finds Wade Barrett and says he has a proposal for him, and MWAY invites him into his locker room. Sheamus says they can do this out here. In the back, John Cena is standing by. Cole asks about last night, and Cena says he won't complain and he probably did it to himself because he didn't shake his hand. He says he thought he could stop them, but he can't, and nobody can. Cena says tonight, he has something to say to Nexus in the ring. Lawler asks why, and Cena says if you can't beat 'em...and he walks off. Match #2: Eve vs. Maryse w/ Ted DiBiase Eve wins in like a minute. 3/4* Morrison runs out and attacks Ted and hits Starship Pain. Sheamus comes out before his match and he says he's beaten John Cena three times now in WWE Title matches, and he will not be getting another shot any time soon. He says he's made a truce with the Nexus, and now Randy Orton will have no chance of beating him at SummerSlam. The Miz comes out with his briefcase, and he says he's the one in charge now, not Sheamus or the Nexus, because he can have a title shot and will win the title whenever he wants. He says he's going to follow and stalk Sheamus until the time is right, be it tonight, SummerSlam, or even WrestleMania. Sheamus says he's the WWE Champion, and The Miz is nothing. Anon GM rings in and says Miz can stick around if he wants to stalk Sheamus, since Sheamus vs. Evan Bourne is next. Match #3: Sheamus vs. Evan Bourne Miz is on commentary. They get like 7-8 minutes, so this absolutely rules. Awesome Bourne bumping for Sheamus' stuff, and Sheamus was really laying in all his stuff here, so it looked extra good. Bourne made a really great comeback with a lot of neat counters to Sheamus' big offense. Sheamus kicked the ropes up into Bourne's dick as he climbed back in and he hit the Brogue Kick to win. *** Post-match, Miz slides in to hit Sheamus with the briefcase and he hits the Skull Crushing Finale. He tries to cash it in, but R-Truth runs out and attacks Miz and he flees. SUMMERSLAM RECALL: THE HIGHWAY TO HELL Match #4: Santino Marella/Vladimir Kozlov vs. William Regal/Zack Ryder They get 3 minutes now! Not enough Regal, but fine enough for what it was. Vlad hits the Uranage on Ryder and Santino hits the Soldier Ant style Saluting Headbutt to win. *3/4 Match #5: Wade Barrett vs. Mark Henry Good 3 minutes. Wade at this point is very solid, although unspectacular and not a top guy in terms of in-ring work, but it's short enough to hide that. He has an amazing strength spot, getting MOK up for the Wasteland to win after Nexus came out for a distraction. *3/4 Wade then calls Cena out. After the break, Nexus is still waiting. Tarver says Cena needs to acknowledge that they run this show now and he needs to apologize for HIS recent attacks to them, or they can keep making his career miserable. John Cena comes out to the ring and says he wants a truce like Sheamus got. Wade says he will get no truce, and he's not looking for peace. He wants something bigger, and he wants Cena to join Nexus! He says he can achieve even more by joining them but Cena says no. He leaves the ring and says he's going to destroy them, with or without help. He says this was just a test, and he has a team that will take down the Nexus at SummerSlam! Edge comes out first, then John Morrison, then R-Truth, then Great Khali (wtf?), then Chris Jericho, and then Bret Hart last! THEY HIT THE RING AND THE NEXUS BAILS THROUGH THE CROWD! FUCK YEAH! Awesome Raw. |

Percy threw some truly horrendous punches and just looked bad here. Cody hits MVP with the Beautiful Disaster and Husky hits the Back Senton to win. ** A video airs on Michael McGillicutty. Match #2: Alex Riley vs. Lucky Cannon Luckily, this was only a minute. A-Ri wins with the TKO. SAY IT TO MY FACE Post-match, Miz tells people to vote for A-Ri because the future WWE Champion says so. featured a closing segment of the obstacle course challenge in which the winner would win immunity in the next week's elimination; prior to the challenge, Kingston & McGillicutty were given 60 seconds to discuss why McGillicutty should be ranked #1; McGillicutty then won the course with 26.7 seconds |

The Hart Dynasty vs. The Usos, Superstars (July 22nd) The womens are there again. This is basically just a longer and better version of their PPV match. DH Smith gets more time to somehow be really good on the mat. Kidd got isolated again, and Smith had a very good hot tag. The Usos again were solid but not really impressive at all. The champions got the win with the Springboard Hart Attack on one of the Usos. **3/4 |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Kane, Since 7/18/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Smockdawn July 23rd, 2010 Little Rock, AR TONIGHT: Rey vs. Swagger in a #1 Contender's Best of 3 Falls match featured an opening in-ring promo by World Heavyweight Champion Kane in which he discussed winning Money in the Bank on Sunday and then taking the title from Rey Mysterio Jr., then saying he did it all for the Undertaker but couldn't celebrate because Taker remains unresponsive; Kane then said Taker's attacker was still at large and would not rest until he found the person responsible; video clips of Kane and Taker aired throughout Kane's promo Match #1: Christian/Matt Hardy vs. Cody Rhodes/Drew McIntyre There was a clear gap between Christian's parts and Matt's parts, but luckily, most of the time Matt was in, he was taking lots of good offense from Drew and Cody. Christian was a good face in peril as usual. Matt's hot tag wasn't great, but was way more good than bad. Matt accidentally hits Christian and then Drew beats Matt with a Yakuza Kick. **3/4 Matt and Christian argue post-match, but they make up and shake hands. In the back, Swagger says Rey barely snuck away with the win on Sunday, but he won't beat him twice tonight, and he'll get the title shot at SummerSlam. ADR vignette. In the back, LayCool have a party for each other and they got each other matching connecting BEST FRIENDS necklaces. T'Lo comes out to ruin it and books Layla/Tiffany next week. REAL TALK. Match #2: Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero They got 11 minutes, so this ruled. Dolph guides Kofi through great matwork early on. Dolph has another great control segment on the head and neck. Lots of really violent little pieces of offense involving Ziggler's knees. Kofi sold really well on his comeback, but Vickie grabbed his leg and it allowed Ziggler to hit the Peace Zig, and he then put on the Sleeper for the win. *** Match #3: The Big Show vs. Masked SES Guy w/ SES Show easily destroys him and wins with the KO Punch. Awesome sell of the punch by Joey. 3/4* He then unmasks him to be Joey Mercury. DASHING GROOMING TIP: Shave nose hair RAW REBOUND! ADR vignette. Match #4: Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger [#1 Contender's Match - Best of Three Falls] These two work really well together, so once more, this was great. Rey's ankle selling was once again mostly really good. Really picked up once Swagger started working on the ankle. Swagger gets DQ'd for refusing to let go of the Ankle Lock in the ropes and Rey goes up 1-0. A little later, he puts on the Ankle Lock again and it is 1-1. Some awesome Rey ankle selling in the final moments, and he pulls off a botched Crucifix Pin to a running Swagger for the win. Shame about the fucked up finish. ***1/4 Swagger keeps attacking Rey, but Kane runs out to save. He then tries to Chokeslam Rey, but he reverses to send Kane into the ropes and hits a quick 619 before bailing up the ramp. |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Kane, Since 7/18/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Raw July 26th, 2010 San Antonio, TX John Cena comes out to cut a promo about Nexus and what not. He says his team is basically the Superfriends, and Chris Jericho comes out. He says he takes offense to this team being called "Cena's team". He says he influenced Wade Barrett and watched him at ringside for 3 months and he knows him better than anybody else. Cena said if it means that much to him, it can be Jericho's team. Jericho yells at him for patronizing him until Cena said Jericho is vital to the team. Jericho says Cena is just like Nexus, trying to dominate everything and hog the spotlight, but the people love him, so it's okay, and once they get rid of Nexus, he's coming after Cena. Anon GM rings in to say SummerSlam will be a 7 on 7 elimination match and Cena and Jericho will team up tonight vs. opponents of his choosing. Sheamus comes out to sit ringside. Match #1: Randy Orton vs. Jey Uso w/ The other Usos This is about 2 minutes of nothing and Orton wins with the RKO. 3/4* Orton hits the other Uso with the RKO. Sheamus slides in and he tries the Brogue Kick, but Orton ducks it, and he hits him with the RKO too. The Miz runs out with the briefcase and he tries to cash in again, but Orton hits him with the RKO too. After the break, both Sheamus and Miz are getting up. Anon GM says they will team up tonight to fight Cena and Jericho. In the back, Edge talks to Ted Jr. and Maryse. He would rather Ted be on the team than fucking Khali. Ted says after he beats Morrison tonight, he's sure Cena will see the light. SUMMERSLAM RECALL: Warrior beats HTM, 1988 In the back, Khali and Singh find Edge and Khali is mad. They agree to a match where if Khali loses, he's off the team. Match #2: Edge vs. The Great Khali w/ Runjin Singh This is about a minute of nothing before Nexus comes out and the match just stops. 1/2* Edge bails through the crowd and Nexus surrounds the ring, except they let Khali leave. Match #2: Wade Barrett/Skip Sheffield/Justin Gabriel/Heath Slater/Michael Tarver/Darren Young/David Otunga vs. Jerry Lawler/Mark Henry/Evan Bourne/Goldust/Yoshi Tatsu/The Hart Dynasty [Elimination Match] Awesome 8 minutes or so to showcase the Nexus. They got over huge as a unit by isolating it man by man and eliminating everyone and everyone on their team surviving. The faces all had killer offense and took huge bumps. Lawler got to have a great Fucking Jerry Lawler run of punches and shit. Bourne was last and got beat with the Wasteland. *** They all get on the mic post-match and say they're a united team, but the WWE team is just a team of single people. Match #3: Alicia Fox vs. Brie Bella A minute of stuff before DAT SCISSORS KICK ends it. 1/4* R-Truth comes out to do commentary. Match #4: John Morrison vs. Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse This is about 2 minutes of not much. Truth got up to stop Ted's cheating, but Ted threw Morrison into him and rolled him up to win. *1/2 Morrison and Truth argued post-match. In the back, Sheamus and Miz argue. Miz says he's going to cash in after Sheamus loses tonight, so Sheamus slaps the briefcase out of his hands and he walks off. Match #5: John Cena/Chris Jericho vs. Sheamus/The Miz Some good stuff, but not much as a whole due to a lack of any real finishing run. Jericho spent the middle of the match as a situational babyface, and I enjoy his babyface offense and YEAH BABY~ shtick much more than his generic 2010 heel stuff at this point. Cena got in, but Jericho then hit him with the Codebreaker and Miz got the pin to win. **1/4 Jericho tried to attack again, but Cena got him in the STFU. Khali came out to play peacemaker, hilariously. Edge then ran out though and he Speared Khali. Morrison and Truth came out to stop it, but then they started arguing. Khali then dropped them both with Baba Chops to end the show. |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Kane, Since 7/18/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE NXT July 27th, 2010 Corpus Christi, TX featured an opening segment in which the WWE pros were shown seated at the entrance stage, with Matt Striker then introducing the rookies and letting them speak on a topic of their choice; during their segments, Kaval noted he was previously known as Low-Ki and Michael McGillicutty called out WWE US Champion Mike Mizanin for his comments against McGillicutty the previous week, with Miz saying he could talk to him when he gets a Raw or Smackdown contract ELI NOW HAS THE MUSTACHE T-SHIRT! A video airs on Percy Watson. Match #1: Percy Watson vs. Zack Ryder Zack has walking pnuemonia. Percy still had horrible punches and didn't really do much of any note, but he won with his Floatover DDT thing. *1/2 In the back, Morrison talks to Eli and he says he has one word for McGillicutty tonight: MUSTACHE. Match #2: Michael McGillicutty vs. Eli Cottonwood This wasn't really good at all. Joe wins with his half-assed Neckbreaker. 3/4* A video airs on Kaval. Match #3: Kaval vs. Husky Harris Awesome 4 minute spotfest. Kaval did all his awesome kicks and shit, but he spent most of the match putting over Husky's awesome power stuff. Husky accidentally knocked LayCool off the apron and when Kaval checked on them, Husky threw him down and hit the Back Senton to win. **1/2 RAW REBOUND! featured a closing segment in which Striker showed the NXT poll results: McGillicutty #1, Kaval #2, Riley #3, Watson #4, Cannon #5, Harris #6, and Cottonwood #7, with Cottonwood eliminated; Striker then gave Cottonwood the mic to address the fans, with Cottonwood then attacking Harris and fighting off Riley and Cannon before walking off, shoving Morrison out of his way as he went backstage; moments later, Striker then spoke to Harris about his standing, with Harris saying he had stepped up and deserved to win; Striker spoke to McGillicutty about his #1 spot, with McGillicutty saying he would stay undefeated; Striker then spoke to Riley about fighting with Cottonwood; Riley eventually began fighting with McGillicutty, leading to Cottonwood then coming back ringside and brawling with the other rookies |

WWE Champion: Sheamus, Since 6/20/2010 World Heavyweight Champion: Kane, Since 7/18/2010 WWE U.S. Champion: The Miz, Since 6/14/2010 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 5/23/2010 WWE Unified Tag Team Champions: The Hart Dynasty, Since 4/26/2010 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Alicia Fox, Since 6/20/2010 WWE Women's Champion: LayCool, Since 5/14/2010 WWE Smackdown July 30th, 2010 Corpus Christi, TX TONIGHT: Rey vs. Swagger in a No DQ match featured an opening in-ring promo by World Heavyweight Champion Kane, with a casket beside him in the ring, in which he said he visited the Undertaker and that Taker opened his eyes and named Rey Mysterio Jr. as the man who attacked him; Kane then recapped the Undertaker beating Mysterio to earn a spot in Fatal 4 Way, only to be injured and for Mysterio to take his spot and win the title; he continued by saying he would destroy Mysterio at Summer Slam Match #1: Christian vs. Drew McIntyre God damn, this was fucking awesome. Finlay-esque performance by Drew in regards to his use of the ring as a weapon. He took a great bump into the apron, and then went under the ring. Christian reached down after him, but Drew pulled Christian's arm into the actual steel apron frame thing. Drew then had some really great arm work. Christian's comeback was great as usual and his arm selling might have been his best selling since the ECW Title match with Swagger from February 09. Holding his arm after everything and stuff like that. Christian blocks the Future Shock, and he grabs an inside cradle for the win. If this had 15 or so minutes instead of only 9-10, it really could have been MOTY level. ***3/4 DASHING GROOMING TIP: Facial mask ADR vignette. In the back, Punk yells at the SES for being awful failures. Match #2: The Big Show vs. Luke Gallows w/ SES Another 90 second match in this feud. Show wins by DQ when the SES gets involved. *1/4 Everyone attacks Show on the floor and Gallows and Joey hold Show's hand on the steps AND PUNK AND SERENA STOMP ON HIS HAND OVER AND OVER AGAIN! Punk throws off his sling and they keep beating on the hand before leaving. EMTs and people come out to help Show. Match #3: Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero Striker says that if Ziggler wins this, he'll get a title shot. Ziggler again carries Kofi through matwork and they get longer matwork now. Ziggler again has some great work on the head and neck, but Kofi's selling wasn't as amazing. He did have a better comeback though, so it sort of evens out. Ziggler's almost at this 2004 Randy Orton level of brutal work on the head and neck. Vickie slaps Kofi, and he goes nuts on Dolph and is DQ'd. *** He keeps up the attack and beats the shit out of Dolph on the floor. RAW REBOUND! In the back, Swagger is mad about not being in the SummerSlam title match and says after he takes out Rey tonight, he'll naturally be the one to fight Kane. He says he's going to throw Rey into the Gulf of Mexico where he belongs. NEXT WEEK: Kofi/Dolph for the IC Title LayCool comes out for the title match and Vickie comes on the tron and says Michelle will substitute for Layla tonight. Match #4: Michelle McCool [c] vs. Tiffany [WWE Women's Championship] Both their cornerwomen are there. This was a good 3 minutes. Michelle has some awesome violent stuff. She wins with the Faith Breaker. *1/2 T'Lo comes on the tron post-match and says only one of them can hold the Women's Title and they have to decide who it is. ADR vignette. Match #5: Rey Mysterio vs. Jack Swagger [No DQ] Good, but due to the stip and the lack of a real finish, it's their worst match together since they began feuding in June. The lack of ankle focus hurt this too. So it's just a good match until they go into the crowd and do some really cool spots with the surroundings. They fight out of the arena and near the Gulf of Mexico. Rey ends up sending Swagger into the water with a Huracanrana, BUT THEN KANE SHOWS UP AND CHOKESLAMS REY INTO THE GULF OF MEXICO TO END THE SHOW! **3/4 |
