WWE Champion: John Cena, Since 7/25/2011 / CM Punk, Since 7/17/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Christian, Since 7/17/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Ezekiel Jackson, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: David Otunga/Michael McGillicutty, Since 5/23/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Smackdown August 5th, 2011 Lexington, KY Match #1: Sheamus vs. The Great Khali w/ Jinder Mahal Sheamus/MOK is announced for SummerSlam during this. This absolutely happens, and Sheamus wins with the Brogue Kick. *1/2 TONIGHT: Orton/Morrison vs. Christian/Truth In the back, Randy. Orton. cuts. a. promo. about. how. he. will destroy. Christian. at. Summer. Slam. BRIGHT. LIGHTS. AND. THE. BIGGER. CITY. Match #2: Natalya vs. AJ This got like 3 minutes, and it was quite fun. Nattie is super aggressive and wins with the Sharpshooter. * Nattie keeps beating on AJ, and hits a Suplex on the floor. She gets on the mic and says she watched what happened on Raw, she agrees that the days of cute and perky princesses in the WWE are over. Wade Barrett comes out to do commentary. Match #3: Daniel Bryan vs. Tyson Kidd Great 7 minutes. Lots of action, and also some actual storytelling with Kidd targeting the knee, leading to awesome selling by DAT SUPA HERO D-BRY. But yeah, good knee work by Kidd. Fiery AmDrag comeback, etc. Danielson wins with the Front Guillotine Choke once again. *** Zack Ryder comes out for the State of the Showski Address and brags about ratings last week due to his job as Assistant to the General Manager. Zeke comes out and wants to know why he was in a handicap match, but Cody and Ted come out. Cody says he will soon elevate the IC Title when he takes it from Zeke, just as he did to Ted's career. Zeke says Cody is using Ted like The Corre used him. Cody says Ted will beat Zeke tonight, and Zack approves it. T'Lo comes out and instead books Ryder vs. Zeke. Goddamnit Teddy. Match #4: Ezekiel Jackson vs. Zack Ryder Well, at least it was a good Zeke squash. He wins with the Torture Rack. ** In the back, Aksana introduces herself to T-Lo and the horrible/amazing porn music plays in the background. Match #5: Mark Henry vs. Vladimir Kozlov[/v] This is Vlad's last match. Great great squash though. MOK wins with the World's Strongest Slam.** Mark then kills Vlad's leg with the Chair Vader Bomb. YA BRING YOUR STUPID BOWL Sheamus comes out to run off MOK with his own chair. Match #6: JTG/The McGillibuddies vs. Trent Baretta/The Usos The faces did what they could. The heel team is still not much. Otunga beats Trent after he and Joe do a really shitty Demolition Decapitation. *1/2 RAW REBOUND. Match #7: Randy Orton/John Morrison vs. Christian/R-Truth Solid match. Nothing great, and nothing awful. Orton has a solid hot tag, and hits Truth with the RKO, but Christian made a blind tag, and he hits Orton with the Killswitch for the very surprising win. **1/2 |

WWE Champion: John Cena, Since 7/25/2011 / CM Punk, Since 7/17/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Christian, Since 7/17/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Ezekiel Jackson, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: David Otunga/Michael McGillicutty, Since 5/23/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Raw August 8th, 2011 San Jose, CA Triple H comes out to open the show, and announces that he will be the guest referee for Cena/Punk II, since he's the only guy he can trust around here, and says both men will be in action tonight in addition to the contract signing. Cena comes out for his match and they have words off mic. Match #1: John Cena vs. Jack Swagger Decent 4-5 minutes. Cena wins with the FU. ** SUMMERSLAM FLASHBACK: Bret vs. Perfect, SummerSlam 91 In the back, Stanford interviews ADR and says he'll face Punk later. ADR says Punk is a coward for running from him in Chicago, and he'll show him what would have happened tonight if he hadn't run away. In the back, Josh asks Truth questions, but he goes off. WHY IF I'M A SHIP -- IF I'M A CAPTAIN OF A SHIP, CAN I MARRY AT SEA? WHY DOES HOT DOGS ONLY COME 10 TO A PACK WHEN BUNS COME 8 TO A PACK? WHY WHY WHY ARE THE QUESTIONS WITH NO ANSWERS? WHY DO I HATE SPIDERS? I'M GLAD YOU AXE ME THAT, JOSH. THEY CREEPY. THEY QUIET. AND WHEN THEY GET A CHANCE, THEY BITE YA. AIN'T NOBODY FRIENDS WITH SPIDERS. DON'T WHAT ME. He then talks about Spider Stew and how only Little Jimmy likes spider stew, and John Morrison is a spider, and he hates spiders. AMAZING. NEXT WEEK: Rey's WWE Title rematch It is supposed to be Rey vs. Miz, but Miz jumps Rey on the stage and beats him down using the logo stand. Miz goes to the ring and he gets on the mic. He says everyone is talking about the WWE Title match at SummerSlam, and yet he still doesn't have a match at SummerSlam. Miz demands a referee comes out and raises his hand as the winner via forfeit, and Justin Roberts on the mic instead and gives him another opponent via Triple H's orders, and Kofi comes out. BOOOOOOOOOOO. Match #2: The Miz vs. Kofi Kingston This sure happens. They get actual time now, and Kofi is still THE WORST. They do some things, Kofi's stuff all looks completely atrocious, and Miz wins with the Skull Fucking Finale. ** Match #3: CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio This really should not have been given away on TV when they're involved in the WWE Title picture throughout the fall, but whatever. They do work well together though. Good arm work by ADR, and Punk sells well as usual. He wins with the GTS. **1/4 Match #4: Beth Phoenix vs. Eve Eve gets another theme remix, which still does not cover up the complete apathy from the crowd. Good Beth squash. She wins with the Glam Slam. *1/4 Beth gets on the mic and says the days of people like Eve embarrassing the division and Divas title are over. Kelly Kelly runs out to attack her from behind, and she runs her off and checks on Eve. Match #5: Alex Riley vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vickie Guerrero This is all of 90 seconds before Vickie slaps Ziggler to cause a DQ to save him. *1/4 Riley throws Ziggler into Vickie on the apron and leaves. An awesome NFL Films styled recap of Punk/Cena at MITB airs. Match #6: R-Truth vs. John Morrison This is decent for 4 minutes. Nothing overly great, which is kind of a shame, given that this feud has been a lot of fun. Truth wins pretty clean with the What's Up. ** In the back, Christian is there, and he tells Triple H to show up on Smockdawn because he has something to say. Awesome contract signing segment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXa0-SOr9Rc Edited by Big Tuna, Jul 2 2012, 02:06 PM.

WWE Champion: John Cena, Since 7/25/2011 / CM Punk, Since 7/17/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Christian, Since 7/17/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Ezekiel Jackson, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: David Otunga/Michael McGillicutty, Since 5/23/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Smackdown August 12th, 2011 Sacramanto, CA Triple H comes out to open the show, and books Zeke/Cody for the IC Title, ADR/D-Bry, Orton.Khali (WHY), and Christian -- Christian comes out to cut him off. Christian says he's glad he showed up for his announcement, and his announcement is that HE IS SUING THE WWE FOR PROVIDING AN UNSAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT! He says everyone knows about Orton's mental issues and anger problems, especially Triple H, and putting him in a Street Fight with him is unfair. He asks Triple H why he's doing this, after all Orton's done to him. H says he doesn't like Orton, but he also doesn't respect Christian anymore after the last few months and says he either works the match at SummerSlam, or he strips him of the title and fires him. Christian is mad and says fine, and Triple H brings out his opponent, and it is Sheamus. Match #1: Christian vs. Sheamus Yeah so once again, there's no chemistry in this pairing. You can tell WWE really wants them to click, judging by how often they face each other. Sheamus does offense and Christian bails to take a count out loss. **1/4 Match #2: Beth Phoenix/Natalya vs. AJ/Kaitlyn Good squash from the Divas of Doom. Beth beats AJ with the Glam Slam. * Nattie puts Kaitlyn into the Sharpshooter post-match. Hype video for MOK/Sheamus. Match #3: Sin Cara vs. Tyson Kidd This is actually Hunico, so that has begun. Good 3 minute showcase, and Hunicara wins with a Springboard Senton Bomb and a Lionsault. ** Match #4: Alberto Del Rio vs. Daniel Bryan This is only 3 minutes, so what the fuck? ADR wins with the Jujigatame. LAME. D-Bry did his best to make ADR look he is actually great. ** Wade comes out post-match, and he hits Bryan with the Wasteland. SUMMERSLAM FLASHBACK: Warrior vs. Honky, SummerSlam 1988 Match #5: Ezekiel Jackson [c] vs. Cody Rhodes w/ Ted DiBiase [WWE Intercontinental Championship] Good short match. Cody bumps big and Zeke looks good on offense. Cody hits the Beautiful Disaster followed by the Cross Rhodes to win the title. **1/4 The awesome Punk/Cena hype video airs. Match #6: Mark Henry vs. Johnny Curtis Another awesome MOK squash. World's Strongest Slam ends it. ** Match #7: Randy Orton vs. The Great Khali w/ Jinder Mahal This sure happened. Orton wins with the RKO. *1/4 Christian comes out and he says anything goes on Sunday, and he'll have the best thing going on Sunday, and he has a huge surprise. |

WWE Champion: John Cena, Since 7/25/2011 / CM Punk, Since 7/17/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Christian, Since 7/17/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: David Otunga/Michael McGillicutty, Since 5/23/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 ![]() WWE SUMMERSLAM 2011 AUGUST 14TH, 2011 LOS ANGELES, CA Adam Jones from Tool butchers the National Anthem. Match #1: Rey Mysterio/John Morrison/Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz/R-Truth/Alberto Del Rio Fun trios opener. Rey is injured at this point, so he deserves credit for doing lots of awesome shit here. This is all very good, without ever getting great. If Kofi was replaced by Bourne, or even someone else who doesn't totally fucking suck at everything involved with in-ring pro wrestling, this might have been great! Good control segs from the heels. Rey has an awesome hot tag and he gets Truth with the 619 and Penguin Splash to win. **3/4 In the back, Punk is approached by Johnny, who wants an apology for last monday. He mockingly apologizes and makes faces until he leaves. Stephanie shows up and wishes him luck and he does not believe her at all. She offers a handshake and he says he would, but he knows where that hand's been. FINGERS IN BUTTHOLES CALLBACK. Hype video for MOK/Sheamus. Match #2: Mark Henry vs. Sheamus I liked this much more on rewatch. Awesome match. Sheamus hits super fucking hard and MOK again is the best brick wall. He gradually sells more and more, while shrugging Sheamus off less and less than he was originally able to. He eventually goes down, but Sheamus has to take himself down to do it. He hits the Brogue Kick to knock MOK through the ropes, but when he goes after him, MOK lifts him up AND SLAMS HIM THROUGH THE BARRICADE HOLY SHIT! MOK gets back in and wins by count out. *** In the back, Josh interviews Christian and he says he has an insurance policy tonight. KILLER ELITE. Cee-Lo performs for roughly 52 minutes. Match #3: Kelly Kelly [c] vs. Beth Phoenix [WWE Divas Championship] Eve and Nattie are also there. This was alright, but they'll have better matches. Beth does the best she can. K2 counters the Glam Slam into a shitty victory roll to win. ** In the back, Stephanie leaves Cena's locker room. In the back, Jimmy Hart tries to tell Truth that he needs a manager like him. Jimmy says to think big, and Truth says he's right. He has to think big, and not little, Jimmy. WAIT. LITTLE JIMMY?! YOU'RE LITTLE JIMMY. YOU SMELL LIKE LITTLE JIMMY. Hart runs away and Truth says there's conspiracies everywhere. Twix commercial. Match #4: Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett This is not quite a total D-Bry carryjob, since Wade's stuff looks good on his own without D-Bry leaning into everything and bumping huge, but it's clearly Wade being plugged into a Danielson match and having his best match ever. Bryan evades Wade a lot before Wade targets the midsection. Bryan makes his amazing comeback and guides Wade through a classic Danielson finishing run. They break out the McGuinness Top Rope Lariat spot too and then Wade wins with the Wasteland. *** Hype video for Orton/Christian. Christian comes out for the match, and introduces his cornerman, Edge! Edge comes out and says he was happy for him to win the title and proud of him, but not proud of him whining and complaining and hiding behind lawyers. He says he might have done a lot of bad things, but he never did that. He says he knows Christian is better than this, and he's not going to help him continue to be a whining little bitch, and Edge leaves. Match #5: Christian [c] vs. Randy Orton [World Heavyweight Championship - No Holds Barred] This is great, once again. They have their usual amazing counters, mostly all new ones, and also mix in weapons well. They do a surprisingly great job of keeping it interesting for 24 minutes, which is beyond what I expected of them. Christian spits on Orton again at the end, leading to him snapping and killing Christian with a ton of nasty spots. Only real flaw was the finish, in which Christian jumped into an RKO on the stairs, because Orton was too far to really have any plausible reason for him jumping onto the steps. But whatever, their second best match. ***1/4 BE A STAR. Hype video for Punk/Cena. Match #6: John Cena [c] vs. CM Punk [c] [Undisputed WWE Championship - Special Referee: H] Since Triple H mostly kept himself out of it, this was great. MITB was obviously better, but this is super fucking great too. MITB is about multiple roles and stories shifting throughout the match, but this is about establishing that Punk is exactly on Cena's level in every sense. It's very much a face vs. face m, "top this", kind of match. Better matwork than MITB. Lawler again refuses to give Punk any credit. Really incredible finishing run, probably even better than MITB's. Some really great and natural seeming strike exchanges. Punk hits a second GTS for the win, and Triple H didn't see Cena's foot on the rope. **** Punk gets the belt and H offers his hand. Punk is wary, and H raises his hand instead and leaves. BUT KEVIN NASH COMES FROM THE CROWD AND GETS PUNK WITH THE JACKKNIFE POWERBOMB! DATS MY BIG HOMIE! Alberto Del Rio then comes out and cashes in. Match #7: CM Punk [c] vs. Alberto Del Rio [WWE Championship] ADR hits his Shining Enzuiguri to win the belt. DESTINY. I guess I understand. ADR needs to occupy the belt while Punk deals with Nash and Triple H to really got a top guy rub, and then he chases the belt. Should be great, providing Nash can actually wrestle and this doesn't somehow turn into Triple H vs. Kevin Nash in fucking 2011. That's monumentally retarded though, so given how great they've been since May/June, that surely won't happen. |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: David Otunga/Michael McGillicutty, Since 5/23/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Raw August 15th, 2011 San Diego, CA TONIGHT: ADR vs. Rey for the WWE Title! Triple H comes out to open the show and he apologizes to the fans and John Cena for making a bad call last night. He says for the record, he had no problem with CM Punk winning and he had nothing to do with Kevin Nash's attack on CM Punk that allowed ADR to cash in. He says Nash called him last night and asked for tickets for his family, and that's all he thought Nash was there to do last night, watch the show. He says he's invited Nash on tonight to explain himself, but only if he tells the entire truth. He then introduces ADR and leaves. ADR comes out and says he didn't plan on cashing in last night, but after what happened, he couldn't resist. He talks about this being Rey's hometown and says Rey is a Mexican icon and there is nothing he loves more than beating up Rey Mysterio, because it was his destiny to be the WWE Champion, and it is his destiny to stay the WWE Champion. Match #1: R-Truth vs. John Morrison [Falls Count Anywhere] This is better than last week, due to it actually getting time. Still not great, because these two do not mesh well together. Morrison hits a running knee to Truth sitting on a chair on the floor for the win. **1/4 featured an in-ring promo by Mike Mizanin in which he noted Jared from Subway was in the crowd, then saying he could be a better spokesperson than Jared before advertising one of the sandwiches and eating it in the ring Match #2: Kelly Kelly/Eve vs. The Bella Twins Hey, this still is awful. 1/4* The Divas of Doom come onto the stage and they STARE. Kevin Nash comes out with his hilarious facial hair. He talks about he and Triple H's friendship and says he was the godfather of his son. He says he was in the crowd last night and he got a text from Triple H's phone saying to stick the winner, and he did just that. He says Triple H has denied sending a text or having anything to do with it, and says they need to get on the same page, and says last night was just business. CM Punk comes out and says neither Nash nor Triple H really knows what's good for business and Nash tells him to watch his mouth. Punk says he needs to watch the show more often if he's seriously telling him to do that. He says maybe Nash is a liar, but Nash says he can show the text .Punk says he got a text too, from his sister, saying "OMG Kevin Nash LOL I thought he was dead". Punk says he's pointing a lot of fingers, and he's not blaming ADR in the least, and he says clearly Triple H is running the show and bringing his cronies in. Nash says H shook things up, and Punk says that was him. Nash calls him an indieriffic wannabe who's been in two main events, and Punk says it's 2011, not 1994. Nash then brings up 1996 when he changed THE BUSINESS~ and says Punk should thank him for guaranteed money and calls Punk a short order cook from a Waffle House and tells him to hit the weights. Punk says he likes Waffle House, but he shouldn't have put his hands on him, and they can fight right now. Punk goes to fight, but security comes out. He says if security is protecting Nash, then nobody is between he and Triple H, he'll go find out what really happened. In the back, Nash and Johnny talk about how they don't like Punk, and Johnny says he'd like to talk to him in private. Match #3: Alex Riley vs. Jack Swagger Vickie and Dolph come out to watch. They argue. This match blows and has the sandbagging Doctor Bomb deal that ended up costing A-Ri his push. Oh well. Swagger beats A-Ri with the worst Doctor Bomb ever. *1/2 In the back, Swagger talks to Vickie and thanks her and says she should expand her stable. In the back, sTephanie tells Punk that people always get what they deserve. Glad all this set up went somewhere. Match #4: Air Boom vs. The McGillibuddies Bourne carryjob for 4 minutes. Kofi is smart enough to let the actual great wrestler do work. Bourne beats Joe with Air Bourne. ** Match #5: Alberto Del Rio [c] vs. Rey Mysterio [WWE Championship] This is Rey's last match to date. Motherfucker needs to come back asap and face Bryan and Claudio. This is very good, but not great, due to Rey's arm being fucked up and hindering him. Still, great finishing run. Rey hits the 619, but ADR gets his knees up on the Penguin Splash and rolls him up to win. **3/4 ADR attacks the arm and injured it, but John Cena comes out to save. He gets on the mic and says he and CM Punk were putting integrity and respect back into the WWE Title to make it even more prestigious, and then ADR ran along and stole it away. He says he hasn't beaten anyone yet (except just cleanly beating Rey), and he hasn't earned the right to call himself Champion yet, and eventually, he'll have to face somebody like him and they'll see what kind of a man he is. That was not necessary. |

He says he's glad Hornswoggle has found true love and Hornswoggle speaks in his own language and then he gives her a promise ring with one of those candy rings. AJ says this has never been about size (LOL) or presents, but then Derrick Bateman comes out. He says this is the worst and if Hornswoggle truly believe anyone could ever love him, he's dumber than Titus looks. He says he's going to win this season, which is way better than hanging around a leprechaun and a troll like Titus. Hornswoggle is mad, and Titus challenges him to say it to his face. They chase him to the back. AJ is alone, AND MAXINE ATTACKS HER FROM BEHIND! YEAH! Match #1: Tyson Kidd vs. JTG Good stuff. JTG is now randomly a babyface again. Kidd wins with a Half Crab. ** Kidd celebrates, and Japanese symbols briefly are on the tron. FUCK YEAH! BE A STAR. Match #3: Matt Striker vs. Darren Young What's up randomly great Striker performance? He is now a grizzled veteran apparently, which makes no sense, but he wrestled like it. Working the fucking hand, all kinds of great counters. D. Young shows how he is a huge Roddy Strong fan with the apron Back Suplex drop and the Death by Roderick and nasty chops. Young sells quite well, and they have a great finish. Young rolls through an Oklahoma Roll try by Striker and muscles him up for the Death by Darren to win. **3/4 Bateman and Maxine come out holding hands. Maxine says Hornswoggle can't handle a real woman like her, but like every other man, he settles for something less, like AJ. Match #3: Titus O'Neil vs. Derrick Bateman w/ Maxine Good stuff for 3 minutes. Their best match yet, due to Titus being real aggressive, and Bateman bumping around well and throwing good strikes once again. Maxine distracts Titus and Bateman rolls up Titus to beat him again. ** They replay Rey/ADR to end the show. |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: David Otunga/Michael McGillicutty, Since 5/23/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Smackdown August 19th, 2011 Bakersfield, CA - featured an opening in-ring statement by Teddy Long in which he introduced the new World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton, with Orton then discussing how Christian would open the show by complaining and that all that was done; Long then said Orton's next challenger would be decided by a 20-man battle royal later in the show; moments later, WWE IC Champion Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr. walked out, with Rhodes noting it was Legacy reunited and that he wasn't content to just hold the IC title and he would compete in the battle royal; Dibiase then took the mic and said they knew Orton's strengths and weaknesses and hadn't forgotten all the times he used them; Orton suddenly dropped Dibiase with the RKO and scared Rhodes out of the ring to end the segment; after Orton left the ring, Rhodes confronted Long and demanded he do something about that, with Long mocking Rhodes by saying he would have Orton stand in the corner backstage on one leg and write 100 times, "I won't RKO Ted Dibiase;" Long then said Rhodes would compete in a singles match in Dibiase's spot, against former IC champion Ezekiel Jackson in the opening match Match #1: Cody Rhodes vs. Ezekiel Jackson Great 3 minutes. Big Cody bumps, Zeke power spots. Cross Rhodes ends it. **1/4 featured a backstage segment with Zack Ryder and Long discussing WWE World Champion Alberto Del Rio who was on his way to the show, with Ryder then saying he would win the battle royal; moments later, Aksana walked in and asked why Long's last name was long, then asking whether he would like to see her with the 20 men, meaning to say she wanted to watch the battle royal with him AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW SHUCKY DUCKY QUACK QUACK Match #2: Justin Gabriel vs. Tyson Kidd Decent 4 minutes. 450 Splash unfortunately wins for Faggot. ** In the back, Jinder and Khali use words., and Jinder says Khali will hand him the battle royal win. prior to the bout, Del Rio cut an in-ring promo in which he noted his title win after months of speaking about destiny, then adding that he made his debut in the same city one year ago by beating Rey Mysterio Jr.; Del Rio then noted that he beat Mysterio again in his first title defense on Raw and began asking who would face him next; moments later, Bryan walked out, with Del Rio asking if he wanted another beating like the one he got the previous week; Bryan responded by saying Del Rio won his title just like every other Money in the Bank winner - when the champion was down and beaten; Bryan added that was ordinary, predictable, and pathetic Match #3: Alberto Del Rio vs. Daniel Bryan This is much better than last week, since they get around 10 minutes for Danielson to guide ADR. This is not quite great, since the stuff before the arm work was pretty mediocre. Cole is completely unbearable in this match, spending about 5 minutes completely shitting on Bryan and Josh in his obnoxious manner, and it really ruins the match while it's happening. They have a decent finishing run, but it ends abruptly with the Cross Armbreaker after only like one minute of a D-Bry comeback. **3/4 ADR keeps attacking, but Huncara comes to save. In the back, Striker interviews MOK. He says he should already be #1 Contender after all he's done, but he's in the same boat as everyone else. But he's going to throw 19 overboard and off that boat, and they're all going to drown. Match #4: Kelly Kelly/AJ vs. Natalya/Alicia Fox This actually gets 4 minutes, so it was not the worst thing ever. Kelly beats Fox with the K2. * Natalya beats down Alicia and puts her in the Sharpshooter. Match #5: #1 Contender's Battle Royal Better than most battle royals over the last few years due to it being all about MOK. Not on the level of the January 2006 battle royal, but this has a less great supporting cast, so it is literally all about MOK (and not with focus on side stories like Rey vs, MNM, Angle, Londrick taking gigantic bumps, etc.). Hets down to MOK, Wade, Hunicara, and Sheamus. Sheamus kicks Wade off the apron, but then MOK tosses him. Hunicara vs. MOK is a nice final run, and then MOK easily disposes of him once he catches hi. **3/4 |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: David Otunga/Michael McGillicutty, Since 5/23/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPIONS CURRENTLY WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Raw August 22nd, 2011 Edmonton, Alberta, Canada included an opening segment in which Ricardo Rodriguez introduced WWE World Champion Alberto Del Rio; during Del Rio's entrance, footage was shown of him attacking Rey Mysterio Jr. the previous week, with the announcement Mysterio was seriously injured and would be out for several months; following his entrance, Del Rio was interrupted by John Cena, who introduced himself by saying he would be the one to take Del Rio's title and hurt him enough to send him back to his parents' house; Cena followed by saying there was only one man that could go toe to toe with him, prompting a chant of "CM Punk" from the crowd; Punk then came out to a rousing ovation and made fun of the fact Cena wanted another title match, noting it felt like a rerun and that he beat Cena twice in high profile matches; Punk then said Del Rio, Triple H, Kevin Nash, and maybe even Jack Tunney were involved in an attempt to get after Punk and that he would be cashing in his rematch clause; Cena objected, saying he would face Del Rio for the title; Del Rio followed by saying he defended the title the previous week and wouldn't do it again in front of the Canadian crowd; moments later, Triple H walked out and said Del Rio would not face Punk or Cena later in the show but would be in the opening match; he then said Punk and Cena would compete in the main event, with the winner challenging Del Rio at Night of Champions Match #1: Alberto Del Rio vs. John Morrison This was a match. Morrison is now back to full on mediocrity, it seems, as he clearly no longer cares. They do stuff, and ADR wins with the Jujigatame. **1/4 Match #2: Eve vs. Nikki Bella Brie and K2 are there. Short and useless. 1/4* The faces celebrate and the Divas of Doom come out and applaud. Before the next match, Vickie introduces Swagger as her next potential client. Match #3: Alex Riley vs. Jack Swagger w/ Vickie Guerrero Hey, this sucked again. Ziggler comes out to argue with Vickie and it allows Riley to get a roll up to win. *1/4 Ziggler drags Vickie to the back. ncluded an in-ring segment with Triple H in which he discussed the controversy stemming from Summer Slam and Kevin Nash's involvement, noting they talked during the week and worked everything out but he wanted to discuss it with the fans to be transparent; after Nash came out, he took exception to Punk's comments the previous week and said he would have killed him if not for the ringside security; Triple H then said Nash didn't work for the company and he couldn't have him calling out guys and trying to beat them up on his show, then asking him to leave; moments later, Punk interrupted and said they needed to get to the bottom of the text message situation, suggesting it was Stephanie McMahon; Punk then said he was a habitual line stepper and that he would kick Nash's ass; as Triple H went to intervene, Punk called him out and asked why he was so afraid of Punk being WWE World Champion; he then suggested Triple H keeps his cell phone and balls in Stephanie's purse, with Nash decking Punk before he and Triple H walked backstage and Triple H told Nash he can't get physical; following the commercial break, Triple H and Nash were shown talking backstage, with Nash telling Triple H that he had changed since putting on the suit Match #4: The McGillibuddies [c] vs. Air Boom [WWE Tag Team Championship] FINALLY. Bourne carries everyone to a solid little TV match, and he wins the belts from Joe with the Air Bourne. **1/4 In the back, the babyfaces celebrate with the new champions. In the back, Johnny tells H that Nash has been in a car accident, and Triple H goes to leave. NEXT TUESDAY: SUPER SMACKDOWN LIVE! Santino comes out for a match, but Miz and Truth attack him from behind. They get in the ring with mics and Truth says there IS a conspiracy, and before Triple H was here, they main evented PPVs. Miz talks about being WWE Champion, etc. and in order to get on TV last week, he had to argue with the guy from Subway, and says this is not right and they both deserve better. Miz says they're done being underutilized and they're going to take opportunities now. Truth says they're gonna stomp on spiders, and the conspiracies are gonna stop and people gon get got. THAT'S THE TRUTH. AND IT'S AWESOME. Match #5: John Cena vs. CM Punk [#1 Contender's Match] It is beyond retarded to give this away for free after how their first two matches went, and especially with no build. Completely fucking insane. Maybe the biggest sign of the usual LOL SUMMER'S OVER, BACK TO BUSINESS mentality that takes place seemingly every fall or so. Obviously the least of the summer 2011 series, but still great. Great matwork, and Lawler continues to shit on Punk for no real reason, and JR is actually thrown off for once, and finally treats Lawler like the fucking moron that he has become over the last 2-3 years. Anyways, yeah, Great back and forthy type stuff. Nash comes out as a distraction and Cena hits the FU to get his win back. Blah. *** ADR comes out to attack Cena with the belt to end the show. |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE NXT August 23rd, 2011 Calgary, Alberta, Canada Young interrupts Striker's intro and does low level heeling on him. He makes Striker say that he's the best and then cheap shots him, BUT WILLIAM REGAL COMES IN TO SAVE! OH MY GOD FINALLY! In the back, Kidd finds his suitcase and clothes trashed, and there's a black banner with Japanese symbols on it. Kidd is freaked out. Match #1: Tyson Kidd vs. Trent Baretta Very good, but not quite great. Baretta has the potential to find that perfect mix of cool spots and WWE Style that guys like Noble, London, Kendrick, etc. had been able to find previously, and that Kidd seems to have finally found. And because of that, Kidd is able to channel Baretta into his best match yet. The asian symbols again distract Yoshi and Trent hits a Tornado DDT to win. **3/4 I want to point out here how great Regal is. I talked a lot in 2006-7 about JBL's commentary and how he always put over guys like Matt Hardy, MVP, Londrick, Kennedy, etc. Young skilled guys (at least, for six months, in Kennedy's case) who got that little extra push from his commentary. Regal is the same way with this crop of younger guys, and like how JBL did the best work to get Matt over, Regal does his best work with Kidd. SUPER SMOCKDAWN NEXT TUESDAY! Match #2: AJ vs. Maxine Hornswoggle and Bateman are at ringside. This happened, but got time and wasn't atrocious. Bateman helps Maxine win. *1/4 Cena/Punk is replayed to end the show. |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Smackdown August 26th, 2011 Calgary, Alberta, Canada Bret Hart comes out to open the show, and he says Teddy couldn't make it tonight, so Triple H made him GM for the night. Christian comes out and demands ONE MORE MATCH. Bret says what Edge said at SummerSlam is completely true, and he's becoming an embarrassment to himself, his friends, his family, his fans, and even Canada as a whole. Christian pulls out a piece of paper and says he's had his legal team go over things and says nobody can get a title match before he gets his rematch, and Bret books it for Super Smackdown inside a Steel Cage, so he'll have no more excuses. MOK comes out and says he's gonna get the winner of that cage match or someone would get hurt. Sheamus comes out and treats us to the first HI IM SHEAMUS LET ME TELL YOU A CLEARLY FUCKING BULLSHIT STORY ABOUT IRELAND promo before brawling to ther back with MOK. TONIGHT: MOK VS. SHEAMUS II Match #1: Christian vs. Daniel Bryan Good match, but they can clearly do better, since Christian is, again, a much worse heel than face in the ring. I would love to see what they can do at this int in July 2012. This was unfortunately more of a heel Christian match than a Bryan match, in that it didn't have a real focus on limbwork and just had generic control stuff. Christian did his usual stuff, and idk, just felt like something was missing, as good as it was. A case of expectations being too high, I think. Unprettier ends it. **3/4 Wade is supposed to face a jobber, but he gets on the mic. He says he has laid out legends and the greatest superstars of all time, and he takes this opponent as a personal insult, and says it is beneath him. Wade then walks out on the match. RAW REBOUND! Match #2: Sin Cara vs. Heath Slater This is 90 seconds of Hunicara offense. He wins with the Senton Bomb and Lionsault. *1/2 ADR vs. Hunicara is announced for the live SD next week. Before the next match, Cody gets on the mic. He says he performs miracles, like resurrecting both the status of the Intercontinental Championship as well as Ted's career. Match #3: Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase w/ Cody Rhodes This happened. I mean, it wasn't bad, which is kind of a victory given that it's babyface Orton vs. Ted fucking DiBiase Jr. But yeah, just happened. Orton wins with the RKO. **1/4 Orton leaves, and Cody hits Ted with the Cross Rhodes and puts a bag over his head for being a failure. Match #4: Kelly Kelly vs. Tamina Short. Awful. K2 wins. 1/4* Match #5: Ezekiel Jackson vs. The Great Khali w/ Jinder Mahal Decent 3 minutes. I enjoyed Zeke doing power spots on Khali. He accidentally Baba Chops Jinder on the apron, and Zeke wins with the Torture Rack. ** Cole finally explains that Jinder will divorce Khali's sister and send them back into poverty unless Khali obeys him. But wait, Khali is like a superhero in India, why can't he help his family out? Is he too busy shooting children? A hype video for MOK airs. Match #6: Mark Henry vs. Sheamus This is great once again, but only like 6 minutes. Same kind of a big man slugfest as SummerSlam. Sheamus goes for the legs now, since his strategy at SummerSlam. MOK gets a good control seg, and the finishing run fight to the death is marvelous. MOK breaks out his great brick wall selling and eventually goes down. Sheamus hits MOK with a Brogue Kick on the floor and rolls in to win by ount out. **3/4 MOK gets up and they keep fighting. MOK destroys Sheamus with the World's Strongest Slam onto the bottom half of the steps to end the show. |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Raw August 29th, 2011 Tulsa, OK Triple H comes out and announces that SD people will be on Raw from now on, and it is RAW SUPERSHOW. He calls out Nash to explain why he lied last week. CM Punk comes out instead and applauds him and says the jig is up and says to just admit it was all a set up to keep him away from the title. Nash comes out and says he lied last week because Triple H was in the way of him taking care of things after all Punk's said about them. Nash says Johnny signed him to a WWE contract. Punk says they might have been the Clique, but that's the sound Nash's knees make when he walks and the sound of everyone changing the channel. Nash wants Punk at Night of Champions, and Punk dares H to make it. H books it and tells them both to suck it. Match #1: Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler Great match. Orton has grown enough since their last match that he now realizes to just let Ziggler do his thing for 75% of the match. Orton has one of his best comebacks ever and Ziggler takes huge fucking bumps. Awesome finishing run of counters and when Ziggler rebounds off the mat off a Flapjack, Orton hits the RKO to win. *** featured an in-ring promo by John Cena on WWE World Champion Alberto Del Rio, comparing what Del Rio says to what he does; moments later, Henry came out and talked about his long list of victims, saying Cena would join the list and that Henry would soon win the World Heavyweight Title; Christian then interrupted and said Cena was an embarassment, with Cena challenging them both; moments later, Sheamus ran out and helped Cena clear the ring In the back, Johnny books Cena/Sheamus vs. MOK/Christian. Triple H comes in and says he already booked that and tells Johnny that he works for him. Match #3: CM Punk vs. The Miz Good, not great. Another issue of them not meshing that well. Punk goes for the GTS, but Truth comes out to attack for the DQ. **1/2 Punk tries to fight them both in the ring, but Nash also comes out, and he lays out Punk with the Jackknife. Match #4: Sin Cara vs. Jack Swagger Only about 3 minutes, and pretty mediocre. Vickie comes out to watch and Ziggler then comes out to get her to leave. He distracts Swagger and Hunicara hits his Springboard Senton and Lionsault to win. *3/4 Match #5: Air Boom vs. The McGillibuddies Solid 3 minute showcase for Bourne. Lawler keeps shitting on the heels for being awful and having no charisma. Kofi beats Joe with The Fucking Kick. ** Joe and Otunga yell at Lawler at ringside. Match #6: Brie Bella vs. Kelly Kelly This is once again useless and short. Great work everyone. Twin Magic gives Brie the win. 1/4* In the back, the Divas of Doom are standing by, and they say they're not happy about that, because The Bellas are just as much as fault for the current state of the Divas decision as Kelly and Eve. Promo for Triple H's new movie Inside Out. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. TOMORROW: Cena/Wade, Punk/Khali Match #7: John Cena/Sheamus vs. Christian/Mark Henry Solid 7 minute house show style main event. MOK looks great once again. Cena bests Christian with the FU after he sustains the Brogue Kick. **1/2 In the back, Punk has been summoned to Triple H's office. He says the Board has cancelled his match with Nash, and he'll go one on one with him at Night of Champions. So, let's get this straight. Either WWE didn't check if Nash was actually good to compete before getting him involved with all of this or it turns out he didn't want to job to Punk. Both of those things are 100% believable, actually. And they simply had to replace him with Triple H. And this is where the angle of the year begins to turn into Triple H vs. Kevin Nash in fucking 2011. |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Super Smackdown August 30th, 2011 Wichita, KS TONIGHT: Orton/Christian for the title in a cage match, Cena/Wade, H/Punk contract signing John Cena comes out to open the show and Booker says Cena has conquered the WWE with limited skills. He makes bad jokes before calling out ADR. Ricardo comes out instead and says Alberto is not here, but he has a message from him. He says that Alberto says he will have to wait until Night of Champions and yells ADR's name until Cena punches him. Wade then comes out and says he used to own Cena completely when he forced him to be a member of Nexus, and he would do it again tonight. Match #1: John Cena vs. Wade Barrett Or not. This was 3 minutes and basically a Cena showcase. He wins clean with the FU. *3/4 In the back, Striker interviews Mark Henry about the title match tonight. MOK says he doesn't care who wins, because the winner will go into the Hall of Pain regardless. Match #2: Daniel Bryan vs. Sin Cara Not as good as Danielson/Sin Cara I, but a solid 5 minutes. Cara gets the Springboard Senton and Lionsault to win. **1/4 Sin Cara helps D-Bry up. BUT THEN KICKS HIM DOWN. YEAH HUNICO! A hype video airs for Orton/Christian. In the back, Striker interviews Christian. He says everyone has turned their backs on him, but this is his night. He is none of the bad things people have called him, but he's resilient, a survivor , and a fighter. He says he wants the title, and Christian always gets what he wants. Match #3: Beth Phoenix/Natalya vs. Kelly Kelly/Alicia Fox Good DOD squash. Beth beats Fox with the Glam Slam. * T'Lo is in the ring and he brings out Triple H and CM Punk for the contract signing. Triple H says this is happening because he got tired of Punk's comments and barbs and he asked the Board to let him do this one last match. Punk asks why this is even necessary, since H already announced it last night. He says Punk has disrespected everything and everyone while he bent over backwards to get him back here, given him his tour bus, his new music, and that new t-shirt. Punk says Triple H isn't right for the job becayse he can't separate professional from personal, and Triple H says the fact that Punk is here proves that to be false. Punk says he came back to change things, and Triple H says Punk only wants change for himself. Punk says Vince lost touch just like Triple H has lost touch, and says he wants the old Triple H, because the new one sucks. Kevin Nash comes out and it turns into a fight. He hits Punk with a big Boot and shoves Triple H down and leaves. This was not as bad as their segments would get as we get closer to the PPV when they got more self indulgent, but this still does nothing for anyone involved. Match #4: Sheamus vs. The Great Khali w/ Jinder Mahal Yes, of course this is the rematch this show needed. Fuck. Brogue Kick ends it. *1/2 Match #5: Randy Orton [c] vs. Christian [World Heavyweight Championship - Steel Cage Match[ In completely out of nowhere news, this is great. This storyline has been infuriating at points, but all their matches have been very great. Good story with Christian just wanting to get out. They do great cage spots, counters, etc. Orton hits the RKO off the top rope for the win. *** MOK comes out and into the cage, and he destroys Orton. He throws him into it several times, and hits the World's Strongest Slam to end the show. |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Raw September 5th, 2011 Columbus, OH featured an opening in-ring segment in which CM Punk came out, sat in the ring, and said he was different - he spoke differently, he walked differently - and that tends to piss people off; Punk then mentioned he was facing R-Truth later in the show but would rather kick Kevin Nash in the face; he went on to say Nash had the same music since 1996 and the same dyed hair since the first Gulf War, adding he knew Nash and Triple H were still best buddies; moments later, Punk called for Nash to come out and face him like a man, with Nash eventually walking out to the entrance stage and saying he does what he wants when he wants; Punk followed by mentioning every gimmick Nash has had, including Super Shredder, and said Nash won his first world title the same year Justin Bieber was born and Punk couldn't yet legally drive; as Nash approached the ring, Triple H came out, with Nash telling Triple H to get rid of Punk; Triple H then entered the ring and said he got footage from security at the Staples Center; Triple H then said Nash himself was responsible for sending the text, as he was caught going into Triple H's locker room at the same time he supposedly got the text; Nash then admitted to sending the text, saying he made the WWE cool again; Triple H agreed it was time to get rid of somebody, and implied it would be Nash; after Nash discussed pushing Triple H the previous week, and did so again, Triple H decked him and told him he was fired before then leaving the ring; Punk then pointed and laughed at Nash before saying "Best of luck in your future endevours;" Match #1: Air Boom vs. The Great Khali/Jinder Mahal Bourne does the best he can, and son of a bitch, Jinder finally gets on the board. Khali accidentally Baba Chops Jinder and Evan hits the Air Bourne on Jinder to win. *3/4 In the back, ADR and Ricardo arrive. TONIGHT: Punk vs. Truth Both Kelly and Natalya come out to do commentary. Match #2: Beth Phoenix vs. Eve [#1 Contender's Match] This could have been worse, I suppose. Beth wins with the Glam Slam. * In the back, ADR tries to get Christian to take out John Cena, and Christian says he doesn't believe him. He says he likes ADR, but he should know better than to try and get him to do something without any benefit. ADR says Cena hit him with the FU last week and then he lost to Orton, and maybe if not for Cena, he would be champion. Trailer for H's new awful movie. Awesome Truth comes out and Truth says Punk isn't different, but he is. He says he's always spoken the truth. DON'T WHAT ME. MAYBE I SHOULD BE A GOOOOD R-TRUTH and buy a ticket to the PPV so he can get on it. Miz takes the mic and says Triple H is doing a horrible job, and he found out that they're facing Air Boom, instead of main eventing Night of Champions, and there is a conspiracy. Truth says CM Punk is about to get got. Match #3: CM Punk vs. R-Truth w/ The Miz This is about on the same level as last week's match. Punk is a decent face worker, but he's clearly having a little learning curve getting back into the swing of it. He wins with the GTS. **1/2 after the match, Triple H walked out to the ring, with Punk taking the mic and saying he didn't buy that Triple H and Kevin Nash were at odds; Triple H followed by saying he didn't care and he had changed their match to a No DQ match, adding he would hurt Punk and might fire him too; Punk stopped Triple H from leaving, calling him the "Cerebral AssAssin," and adding that if Punk wins, Triple H has to resign as COO; Triple H agreed and left the ring In the back, ADR tries to get Wade to beat up Cena. Lawler and a mystery partner are supposed to face the McGillibuddies, and his partner is ZACK RYDER! YEAH! Match #4: The McGillibuddies vs. Jerry Lawler/Zack Ryder Solid match for 2 minutes, set up to give Zack a win. He beats Otunga with the Rough Ryder. *3/4 In the back, ADR also gets Dolph on his side. Match #5: Randy Orton vs. Heath Slater Acceptable 3 minute Orton showcase. They found a way to sneak Orton back on Raw every week. Son of a bitch. *3/4 Cena cut an in-ring promo in which he called out WWE World Champion Alberto Del Rio, with ADR saying he was not in the ring because he was protecting Cena; he then called for "the rudos of Raw" to appear, with Ziggler, Barrett, Christian, Swagger, attacking Cena; moments later, Riley, Morrison, and Sheamus ran out to make the save, with Teddy Long then setting up an immediate match Match #4: John Cena/Sheamus/John Morrison/Alex Riley vs. Dolph Ziggler/Jack Swagger/Christian/Wade Barrett [Elimination Match] Solid match. I mean, the talent isn't really there to make this a great match, but it was good. Sheamus and Christian end up brawling to the back to start that piece of shit feud. Ends up with Cena vs. JackDolph, and Cena vs. Dolph is great once again. Cena eliminates Ziggler with the FU and then Swagger with the STFU. Back to business as usual once again. **1/2 ADR comes out to try and fight Cena, but Cena easily fights him off. Man, ADR basically has to beat Cena unless he's going to be cemented as a permanent midcarder who chokes in main events. |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE NXT September 6th, 2011 Toledo, OH Darren Young comes out and he brags about getting rid of Striker. Regal gets up and says he believes he has a great future here, but unfortunately and perhaps because he's getting a little soft in his old age. He says taking liberties is not the way to do it, and he won't allow it. Darren tells him to get out of his spotlight. Regal says he has his own spotlight and his is too small for the likes of William Regal. Young challenges him and Regal says he accepts, and he'll teach him a lesson tonight. Match #1: Derrick Bateman/Maxine vs. Titus O'Neil/AJ w/ Hornswoggle Solid mixed tag. All the pairings were good, and Titus vs. Bateman seems to get better every week. Titus beats Bateman with the Clash of the Titus. **1/4 In the back, Bateman and Maxine argue. They calm down and Maxine says they have to get Hornswoggle away from AJ. Bateman says nothing gets him hotter than scheming against leprechauns, and they make out. Amazing. Tyson Kidd comes out and gets on the mic. He says somebody's been messing with him, and he demands they come out right now and face him. YOSHI TATSU RETURNS! He is now Darkside Yoshi and has red highlights in his hair and face-paint on half his face. Match #2: Yoshi Tatsu vs. Tyson Kidd This is not their best work, since it is more about getting over Yoshi's new aggression, but it is done well. As usual, they have awesome spots and counters. Yoshi wins with the Spinning Wheel Kick off the top. **3/4 Match #3: William Regal vs. Darren Young Beautiful Regal spectacle of violence and hate. Young actually is brought up nearly to Regal's level, taking some huge bumps and looking great on offense. He does the best looking Triple H Corner Bump spot in years. The secret is a lack of fear of injury that can only come with youth. Young works the ribs for his finish and Regal's selling is amazing. Striker cuts off JTG's interference and Regal wins with the Knee Trembler. *** |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Raw September 12th, 2011 Ottawa, Ontariom Canadia TONIGHT: That horrible Punk/H contract signing featured an opening in-ring promo by WWE World Champion Alberto Del Rio, with Ricardo Rodriguez, in which he said he would not be disrespected by John Cena, retired Edge, injured Rey Mysterio Jr., and beat CM Punk to win the title; moments later, Bret Hart interrupted and said while Del Rio held the title, he didn't know what it meant to be the champion; Hart went on to say Del Rio went after wrestlers who were already injured rather than leaving it all in the ring; Del Rio responded by saying Hart was just like the illegal Canadians that clean his house and that he would teach Hart a lesson; Cena then appeared and noted ADR had been running for the past month; after he and Del Rio exchanged words, Del Rio said Ricardo wanted to face Cena as payback for what he did to him weeks earlier, with a scared Ricardo waving off the idea; Cena responded by challenging ADR to put the title on the line against Hart later in the show; John Laurinaitis then interrupted and, on Triple H's behalf, made the match between Cena & Hart against ADR & Rodriguez Match #1: John Morrison/Alex Riley vs. Dolph Ziggler/Jack Swagger w/ Vickie Guerrero Decent for 3 minutes. A-Ri pushes Swagger into Ziggler and rolls him up to win. ** Ziggler and Swagger argue. In the back, Miz and Truth get on the mic and walk to the ring and they say Punk being a martyr is laughable, as is this Punk/Triple H face-off. Truth says he likes what Triple H did, and Miz asks really, and Truth says hell no, and giving them a title shot is completely obvious. Truth says he wants H gone as COO, and says they should show people the real truth. Match #2: The Miz vs. Kofi Kingston Both tag partners are there. This happens again. Miz wins with the Finale. *3/4 In the back, T'Lo talks to Dolph and uses his magical booking power to make Dolph/Morrison/Riley/Swagger for the US Title at the PPV. Kelly comes out and Vickie yells at her for laughing and T'Lo books Kelly vs. Vickie tonight. Fuck you, Teddy. Match #3: Jerry Lawler/Sheamus vs. The McGillibuddies Another 2 minute match for Lawler's partner to get a win. He beats Joe with the Brogue Kick. *3/4 Match #4: John Cena/Bret Hart vs. Alberto Del Rio/Ricardo Rodriguez Decent 3 minutes. Unfortunately, this reveals that Cena vs. ADR is not a good pairing. Ricardo's stalling and stooging is really fucking great though. Ricardo gets hit with the FU and then taps out to the Sharpshooter. ** ADR leaves, and Cena says he can keep running until Night of Champions, and he would take that title. WWE LOVES AMERICA. Match #5: Kelly Kelly vs. Vickie Guerrero w/ Dolph Ziggler This is all of 1 minute. Swagger comes out and hits Ziggler, which allows Kelly to roll up Vickie to win. 1/10* A highlight video airs on Triple H. In the back, Josh interviews MOK. He says people wonder why he's done what he done. 15 YEARS A LOOKIN OVER MOK HENRY. 15 YEARS OF NO RESPECT. 15 YEARS OF NOT BEING A NUMBA ONE CONTENDER. 15 YEARS OF NOT BEING A WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. He says this Sunday, he promises, Randy Orton is gonna enter the HALL OF PAIN. FUCK YEAH! Match #6: Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes This is very good, but not quite great. Mark Henry comes out to watch, and it distracts Orton. He also distracts the ref, AND CODY HITS ORTON WITH THE FACE MASK! CROSS RHODES AND RHODES PINS ORTON! This is a huge huge deal for Cody, as I'm pretty sure it's the first singles match pinfall loss for Orton since Royal Rumble or some time around there. This is one of the positives to being presented as a clear top guy like he's been on SD. **3/4 MOK hits Orton in the back with a chair post-match and holds up the belt. The Triple H/Punk face-off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3shC4VdXBbA I don't even want to write about it, because it's so frustrating. It's a bad shoot, especially in comparison to the Punk/Cena stuff, where they revealed enough backstage stuff to keep it interesting without ever crossing that line. This jumps over the line. Using shoot names, talking about politics, going on too long, etc. |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 Oh hey, SD looks awful. Smackdown! - 9/16/11 - featured an opening introduction of Edge in which he said he was glad to be back in his hometown and missed the WWE crowd; he went on to say he would host the Cutting Edge later in the show with Mark Henry and World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton; moments later, WWE IC Champion Cody Rhodes interrupted, noting Edge would appear on 'Haven,' later that night on SyFy, and said Edge was pandering to the crowd; Rhodes went on to say Edge might be bitter since he went from being World Heavyweight Champion to being retired, while Rhodes won the IC title and beat Orton during the main event on Raw; Rhodes then took one of his paper bags and handed it to Edge, telling him to take it home and put it on his mantle as a reminder of what Smackdown has become; Edge replied by making fun of Rhodes' charisma, and then walking out before he fell asleep; after Edge left, Rhodes complained about Edge thinking he was better than him, eventually going to the floor and telling various fans that they needed paper bags; moments later, a person already wearing a paper bag at ringside punched Rhodes, then revealing himself to be Ted Dibiase Jr.; Dibiase then attacked Rhodes in the ring before dropping him with Dream Street, then taking another paper bag to put on Rhodes's face before Rhodes escaped to the floor; included a "Did you know?" graphic which read Smackdown was the #1 show on SyFy last week for the 50th consecutive week; featured an ad promoting 'Inside Out,' starring Triple H; included a backstage segment with Zack Ryder and Teddy Long in which Long said neither Orton or Henry could get physical with each other or their match would be off; moments later, Aksana appeared and offered Long a massage; moments later, Trish Stratus walked in to catch Long bent over during the massage (Trish's surprise return after a 3-month absence); featured a vignette on Sheamus; included a backstage segment with Edge and Trish, with Christian then appearing and making fun of Trish only showing up when she has something to sell, adding she's selfish; Christian then questioned whether Edge cost him the World Heavyweight Title at Summer Slam before the two hugged, with Christian then asking Edge to go to Long and ask him to get another title shot; Edge then said Christian was acting like a little bitch, with Christian then storming off; moments later, Ryder walked by and quickly told Edge to relay Long's message about no physicality between Orton and Henry so that he wouldn't have to do it; featured a vignette on Henry and his recent attacks on Orton; included a 'Did you know?' graphic which read the 2011 Survivor Series sold out in less than 90 minutes; featured an ad promoting the WWE Network in 2012; included a video package recapping the Triple H / CM Punk feud; featured a closing in-ring segment of the Cutting Edge, with Edge noting being at WrestleMania VI and then winning his own first WWE title also at Skydome in Toronto; Edge then introduced Henry and Orton as his guests; Edge opened by discussing the no physicality rule, adding that should be good for Orton since Henry has torn through everyone; Orton then said Henry had taken several men out of action but only attacked him after he had a match, adding he knew he could beat Henry and there was a reason Henry had never "won the big one;" Edge then turned to Henry and said his career had been a letdown, noting he was already in WWE when Edge debuted in 1998; Henry then took the mic and agreed with Edge's comments, adding he was done seeing people smaller and weaker than him take the title while he was told to smile and show his personality; Henry then said it took him 15 years to get to that point and he would leave Sunday with the title, with Orton saying he would be known after Sunday as the world's largest failure; Edge then reminded them of the no physicality rule, but then left the ring and said the segment was over; as the two then fought, Long came out and waved a herd of wrestlers to the ring to break up the fight, including JTG, Trent Barreta, Zack Ryder, Tyson Kidd, Derrick Bateman, Jimmy & Jey Uso, and Johnny Curtis; moments later, Orton broke free of the other wrestlers and sustained Henry's powerslam; Henry then fought off the other wrestlers as well before twice hitting a splash on Orton; Long then yelled at Henry that it was enough, with Henry yelling back, "You don't tell me what to do;" moments later, Henry again dropped Orton with the powerslam before holding up the title belt as the show ended: Daniel Bryan defeated Sin Cara via disqualification at 8:56 when Sin Cara repeatedly kicked Bryan as he was hung upside down in the corner; the match was wrestled under blue and orange lights; after the contest, Sin Cara continued to attack Bryan until a second Sin Cara appeared, confronted the Sin Cara already in the ring, and the two had a brief staredown before the Sin Cara who wrestled left the ring (Luis Alvirde's TV return after a 2-month absence) Beth Phoenix (w/ Natalya Neidhart) pinned AJ (w/ Kaitlyn) with the Glam Slam at 1:26; after the bout, Beth took the mic and said WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly's fairytale would end at Night of Champions Sheamus & Justin Gabriel defeated Christian & Wade Barrett at 10:38 when Gabriel pinned Barrett with the 450 splash after sustaining Sheamus's boot to the face; following the entrances, Sheamus took the mic, made fun of his opponents, and said he picked Gabriel because "I couldn't find the Ax, I couldn't find the Smasher... so I got the 450 splasher;" after the bout, Christian tried to sneak up behind Sheamus but Sheamus cleared him to the floor The Great Khali defeated Heath Slater via disqualification at 1:12 when Jinder Mahal, who appeared early in the match to berate Khali over the mic, interfered; after the bout, Slater and Mahal double teamed Khali until he chopped Slater over the head, cleared Mahal from the ring, and dropped Slater with the tree slam R-Truth (w/ Mike Mizanin) pinned WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne (w/ WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston) at 1:55 with the What's Up; during Truth & Miz's entrance, they chanted "You suck" to the crowd in tune with Truth's entrance music; Miz and Kingston provided guest commentary for the bout |

WWE Champion: Alberto Del Rio, Since 8/14/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Randy Orton, Since 8/14/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 ![]() WWE Night of Champions 2011 September 18th, 2011 Buffalo, NY Match #1: Air Boom [c] vs. Awesome Truth [WWE Tag Team Championship] This is great. Truth and Miz bring it, and again, Miz is at his best in a tag team. Bourne is the greatest face in peril in the company due to taking gigantic bumps and selling like a motherfucker. They also lay it out so Bourne does most of the work and Kofi has a 1-2 minute hot tag before Bourne gets right back in. Truth and Miz gel really well, and really should have had a long run. I don't want them to win the belts, because the titles are the only way Bourne will get longish PPV match time, but this could have been a great long rivalry. They do a great revenge spot with Bourne faking a tag to get back in after Miz and Truth did that repeatedly. The ref misses Miz covering Bourne due to arguing with Truth and Miz shoves the ref down for a DQ. *** They keep beating up the ref for a bit, and they storm off. Another trailer for Triple H's movie. In the back, Striker interviews Awesome Truth. Truth says that wasn't a referee, it was a conspirator. Miz says Triple H is behind this conspiracy, and it doesn't matter what he wants to do to them, because he probably won't be COO after tonight anyways. Match #2: Cody Rhodes [c] vs. Ted DiBiase [WWE Intercontinental Championship] Good stuff. Booker again refuses to wear the bag given to him. Ted is much better as a babyface, because it allows him to not have to control most of the match. He has a few things he does really really well, and being a face allows him to just do those things. This feels like them showing what they could do with some more experience, and it seems like they have an actual great match in them. Cody wins with Cross Rhodes. **3/4 Christian comes out and says he deserves the winner of MOK vs. Randy, and says Buffalo may never have won the Super Bowl, but he's essentially won it twice. He tries to lead the crowd in chanting "ONE MORE MATCH!" The crowd mostly agrees to chant along, and Sheamus comes out. He says he'll help Christian and asks him to lead him in the chant. Christian does it and Sheamus chants along before getting a cheap shot Brogue Kick. Typical Sheamus. Match #3: Dolph Ziggler [c] w/ Vickie Guerrero vs. John Morrison vs. Alex Riley vs. Jack Swagger [WWE U.S. Championship] Solid stuff. Nothing incredible, but given who is involved and that it's September 2011, this could have been so much worse. Swagger hits Morrison with the Doctor Bomb, but Ziggler shoves him out and covers to win. **1/2 In the back, Josh interviews Mark Henry. Josh says the rap on Mark is that he can't win the big one. Mark says HE GOT 15 YEARS OF FRUSTRATION TO TAKE OUT ON RANDY ORTON. AND AS FAR AS YOU, ONE DEM DOUBTERS, ONE DEM HATERS, I WANT YOU TO COME OUT AND INTERVIEW ME. NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. In the back, Striker interviews Vickie. She brags about everyone wanting her to manage them, and if Triple H loses tonight, she will make a great COO. She then kisses Matt. Hype video for Orton/Mark. Match #4: Randy Orton [c] vs. Mark Henry [World Heavyweight Championship] This was great. It has this real Sting/Vader feel, where it's the face of the brand who's beaten basically everyone against a monster with a ton of momentum who he probably can't beat. One of my favorite tropes in wrestling is a guy fighting against an inevitable defeat, and Orton does a great job here. Unlike Sting vs. Vader or AJ vs. Joe, Orton has a trump card with the RKO, so you feel like if he can get that on, he might win. Great brick wall stuff from MOK. Great control seg, etc. Orton tries the kind of match he's done all year, but gets steamrolled. He improvises by going to the knees and sets up the RKO - BUT MOK FUCKING HURLS HIM OFF! MARK WAGS HIS FINGER. MY GOD YES. WORLD'S STRONGEST SLAM! ONE...TWO...THREE! *** ![]() Josh gets in to interview him, and Mark says nobody thought he could do it, and nobody's ever gonna take it from him. YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE, DID YOU? DON'T START CHEERING. YOU ALL DOUBTERS. YOU ALL HATERS. I'D LIKE TO WELCOME ALL OF YOU TO THE HALL OF PAIN. 15 YEARS! So so so so fucking cool to see a guy go on the roll of his career and get rewarded for it. Mark Henry is within distance of maybe getting WOTY 2011, but if he doesn't, he basically has MVP all sewn up. Also, he has a G.O.A.T. level theme song. TOMORROW NIGHT: GUEST STAR HUGH JACKMAN! Match #5: Kelly Kelly [c] vs. Beth Phoenix [WWE Divas Championship] An improvement upon their SummerSlam match. Good for them. Also the best divas match of the year so far. It's Beth's hometown crowd, so they're super hot for her, which elevates the match. They do the same finish from SummerSlam, with Kelly unfortunately rolling up Beth out of the Glam Slam for the win. **1/4 DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME. Hype video for Cena/ Match #6: Alberto Del Rio [c] vs. John Cena [WWE Championship] So yeah, this is mediocre. They have like no chemistry, in terms of a normal match. ADR really turns it on for gimmick matches, so their gimmick match should be much better. ADR sort of works the arm, but forgets about it for large chunks, and Cena's selling is nothing to write home about. Cena wins with the STFU. **1/2 So yeah, ADR is now established as not belonging as a top guy at all, choking against Edge and Christian, winning on a fluke, and immediately losing it back to the real main eventers. There's no real reason for this either. Just that they wanted Cena to have one win in between a series of PPV losses. Which, hey, you can do that without switching the belt. That's what a DQ is for. ADR will immediately win it back at the next PPV, so there's no reason to even change the title here. Fucking WWE. Hype video for the main event. Match #7: Triple H vs. CM Punk [No Holds Barred - If Triple H Loses, He Quits as C.O.O.] This is pretty great for like the first 75% of the match before booking kicks in causing it to break down. They have like 15-20 minutes of an awesome brawl all over the building. Feels like a fight, they're laying it in, both men take some great bumps, etc. Everything I want from a hate filled chaotic brawl. Booker accidentally told a great story where Triple H is best in close combat, but Punk is a better fighter when there's distance, and they actually wrestled like that. But then yeah, booking. Miz and Truth come out to attack both men and the ref, but they team up to fight off Awesome Truth. Punk kicks out of one Pedigree, and then a second. Another ref runs out to count those falls, but Johnny also comes out and makes him help the first ref. He then texts someone, and Nash comes out and attacks them. He Powerbombs Punk and goes back after H, but H hits him with the sledgehammer. He gets Punk with a third Pedigree in the ring to win. The performance of both men was good, but I cannot in good conscience give this a full *** because of that booking. **3/4 If Nash was actually injured or whatever, they did the best they could with a bad situation, I guess. They did a great job making Punk look completely on Triple H's level. But nobody really benefits from this. Some might say Punk gained a lot in defeat, but he's coming off of TWO relatively clean (in comparison to other Cena losses) wins over John Cena on PPV, so that's clearly bullshit. This is like the second least shitty outcome of this match, first being Punk actually winning cleanly or relatively cleanly and WWE going all the way to establish a new top guy. But come on, this isn't summer. |

WWE Champion: John Cena, Since 9/18/2011 World Heavyweight Champion: Mark Henry, Since 9/18/2011 WWE U.S. Champion: Dolph Ziggler, Since 6/19/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY WWE Intercontinental Champion: Cody Rhodes, Since 8/12/2011 WWE Tag Team Champions: Air Boom, Since 8/22/2011 WWE Diva's Champion: Kelly Kelly, Since 6/20/2011 WWE Raw September 19th, 2011 Cleveland, OH featured an opening in-ring promo by CM Punk in which he noted Cleveland had never been kind to him, noting Bob Holly punched him hard in the eye, he had to give up the World Heavyweight Title in 2008, and his pride was now hurting after losing to Triple H in their No DQ match at Night of Champions; Punk then said R-Truth and Mike Mizanin were right that there was a conspiracy in the WWE, just not the one they speak of; as he continued, Triple H interrupted, gave Punk credit for their war, and said Alberto Del Rio deserved his rematch against WWE World Champion John Cena but Punk also deserved a title rematch; Triple H then said Punk, Cena, and Del Rio would compete for the title at Hell in a Cell inside the cell; moments later, Triple H said he had nothing to do with everything that's been happening to Punk lately, then taking off his jacket in case Punk wanted to fight some more; Punk replied by saying someone was playing both of them to their own advantage; John Laurinaitis then walked out, saying it's gone too far and Punk was in the middle of the conspiracy; Punk then said Laurinaitis was behind it all because he wanted Triple H's job, he was the one that sent Truth and Miz to the ring, and cut his mic the previous week; Laurinaitis then reminded Punk that he worked for him and he wouldn't be disrespected, with Triple H then reminding Laurinaitis that he worked for him and then said he would get to the bottom of it; Laurinaitis then fired Punk, with Punk laughing it off before Triple H said Punk wasn't fired; Triple H then said he would get to the bottom of things and someone would be fired Match #1: Sheamus/Justin Gabriel/Air Boom vs. Christian/Wade Barrett/The McGillibuddies Solid 4 minutes. Bourne delivered big time, and Christian, Gabriel, and Sheamus also delivered. Sheamus beats Otunga with the Brogue Kick and Celtic Cross. ** In the back, Triple H tells a referee to tell him when Miz and Truth show up. ADR comes over and complains about being put in HIAC. Triple H says if he has such a problem with it, he can forfeit his rematch and it can just be Cena vs. Punk at HIAC, and ADR is mad and says he'll take the match. Match #2: Alberto Del Rio vs. John Morrison ADR wins with the Cross Armbreaker in 50 seconds. Well, okay. 3/4* Hugh Jackman comes out to promote his movie about robots. Vickie and Ziggler interrupt and Ziggler says he beat three superstars last night, not robots, no offense to Mason Ryan. Awesome. He says Cleveland is all about underdogs, but underdog is just another word for loser, and challenges Hugh to go find an underdog like his stupid movie to try and fight him tonight, and Hugh accepts. The crowd chants for Ryder and Ziggler says it doesn't matter what they want. In the back, Awesome Truth shows up. They see Johnny and apologize for their actions, and he tells them to tell him how their meeting goes. Sin Cara fought WWE IC Champion Cody Rhodes to a no contest in a non-title match; prior to the bout, Rhodes' attendants passed out paper bags to ringside fans; after the entrances, a second, smaller Sin Cara walked out, leaped into the ring, and faced off with the larger Sin Cara; moments later, the larger Sin Cara attacked the smaller one, with the two taking turns taking each other down until the smaller one cleared the ring In the back, Awesome Truth meets with H. They apologize for hitting the ref and getting involved in his match. He fines them both $250,000 and books them vs. Cena and Punk later on. JR is in the ring, and he brings out Mark Henry for an interview. MOK says to all the naysayers, he'll deal with them in a minute. JR says he'll face Orton again at HIAC in the Cell. Mark says he gave Orton Hell last night, and he'll do it again. He shows off his belt and ain't no man gon take what he got. He says JR and these people gave up on him and never supported him. He tells JR to apologize for them to him. DON'T YOU PULL THE MICROPHONE FROM ME, BOY. YOU WANTED VINCE MCMAHON TO FIRE ME. I WAS INJURY PRONE, HUH? He holds up the belt and says he don't have to say nothin. He tells him to apologize again, and JR says he's sorry and he was wrong. AND MOK SAYS HE HATES ASS KISSERS. He grabs JR and says this is where he begs for his life. THE GREATEST. Lawler goes to save, but gets destroyed. Match #3: Kelly Kelly/Eve vs. Beth Phoenix/Natalya This is 90 seconds and useless. The faces win. 1/2* In the back, Hugh sees Zack Ryder and looks at him fist pumping and says he couldn't imagine a bigger underdog, and he's perfect. Match #4: Dolph Ziggler vs. Zack Ryder Vickie and Jackman are there. Jackman is a total broski, as he even wears the headband. These two have the greatest chemistry, and put forth a great 3 minute match. Jackman punches Ziggler and it really looks fucking fantastic. Ryder hits the Rough Ryder to win. **1/4 In the back, Swagger talks to Vickie and says he wouldn't have lost to Ziggler. Vickie says she would be proud to have him in her stable, and they shake hands. A video airs on the HIAC match. Match #5: John Cena/CM Punk vs. Awesome Truth Perfectly decent match, but nothing great. Solid control seg on Cena, and a great Punk hot tag. Punk sends Miz into Truth on the apron and hits Miz with the Go To Sleep for the win. **1/2 Triple H comes out immediately after and he says he's made up his mind and Miz and Truth are fired! In the back, Scott tries to interview H, but Miz and Truth attack him! The locker room gets them off and they get forcibly thrown out of the building. |
