CZW Heavyweight Champion: Ruckus, Since 12/10/2005 CZW Tag Team Champions: The Kings of Wrestling, Since 9/10/2005 CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Derek Frazier, Since 9/10/2005 CZW Iron Man Champion: Kevin Steen, Since 8/13/2005 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY CZW Ultraviolent Champion: JC Bailey, Since 8/13/2005 ![]() CZW An Afternoon of Main Events January 14th, 2006 Philadelphia, PA XPOSED PROMOS: -Justice Pain says his real name and says he "portrays" Justice Pain, a character. Wow. Fuck you. He says nobody really knows him, and goes on and on about sacrifices for CZW. He says to forget about the past because things can never be as good as nostalgia goggles say they were, and they have to make CZW the best they can be today. This is clearly meant to try and rally the troops after the controversy at the end of 2005. This goes on for like 8 minutes. -Sabian goes to his corner and gets his money from his people. Fuck yeah. Sabian says to always bet on black to the camera. -All the camera lighting is really dark now for some reason Match #1: Larry Sweeney vs. Excalibur Good comedy. Gargulio and King talk about ROH maybe invading tonight and Gargulio is super super butthurt about getting fired as ROH commentator after the first two shows, where he was absolutely atrocious. Exaclibur gets an upset with a roll up. **1/4 Match #2: Niles Young vs. Cloudy Cloudy delivers here. Big bumping and offense, but Niles really sucks still. Niles wins with a Tombstone. ** Match #3: Adam Flash w/ Pandora vs. Heretic No. AND BRYAN DANIELSON HITS THE RING! He asks if this is the reception you give to the best in the world. They boo, and he says he's not defending the title in this building, and the REAL World Champion will only be wrestling at the ROH show. He says Philadelphia is nothing but garbage wrestling fans, and Chris Hero comes out! They go face to face, but Danielson backs off and says he's not getting paid for this, so he's out of here. But he throws a cheap shot, AND HERO TACKLES HIM! FUCK YEAH! NIGEL MCGUINNESS COMES TO SAVE FROM THE CROWD, AND CLAUDIO AND SUPER DRAGON COME OUT TOO! AUSTIN ARIES AND RODERICK STRONG COME FROM THE CROWD! AMAZING BRAWL! The rest of the CZW locker room comes out to drive out the ROH guys, and they flee out the door. Hero, Claudio, and SD are in the ring, AND THE BLK-OUT RUNS DOWN TO ATTACK THEM! Match #4: The Kings of Wrestling/Super Dragon vs. Eddie Kingston/Ruckus/Sabian w/ Robbie Mireno Very awesome out of control brawl. TONS of hate from everyone, nasty strikes, lots of great nearfalls. And since this feud has gotten so personal and they did it well enough, it does actually feel like this totally out of control match is the logical thing to have happened, instead of just doing a brawl for no reason like some CZW tags. The heels had a great control seg as usual. Big finishing run and Sabian hits Claudio with a brutal looking Flying Double Stomp to win. ***1/4 Match #5: Derek Frazier [c] vs. Cheech [CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship] Frazier is solid enough but not great, and Cheech does the best he can to get something awesome out of the kid. They have come cool spots, but trouble filling the time. Niles Young comes out and hits Cheech with the belt from the floor, and Frazier covers to win. ** Niles attacks Derek too, and Cloudy runs out to make the save. All four begin fighting. Match #6: Joker vs. Justice Pain w/ Dewey Donovan This was fine enough. Solid brawl at points, but needed more bells and whistles and shortcuts to be anything beyond average. A homeless guy tries to wander into the building through the doors in the back and he then gets ejected, leading to the greatest chant in wrestling history, "FUCK THE HOMELESS!" Picks up when they go to the crowd and begin trying to murder each other. Joker wins with a Crossface variant for a tap out. Fucking Gargulio claims it was a pass out. **1/2 NECRO'S INSANE ARSENAL OF THEME SONGS: -"Still" by Geto Boys -"When The Man Comes Around" by Johnny Cash -"Freebird" -"Hurt" by Johnny Cash -"I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty UNFUCKWITHABLE. Match #7: JC Bailey [c] vs. Necro Butcher vs. Nick Gage [CZW Ultraviolent Championship - NO ROPES BARBED WIRE] HEY FUCK YEAH NRBW. Gage has started wearing 2 or 3 bandanas here to cover his face. Shame he forgot all of them when he robbed that bank. Necro works shirtless and shoeless. At some point rewatching ROH, watching CZW, watching PWG, watching Joe/Necro for at least the 50th time, and his home town being GOD DAMN, WV, Necro went from being a guy I really love to being one of my all time favorites. As always, Necro works this stip really well. Gage was awful, but whatever. Some fag named Lobo comes out to ruin it at the end, and he allows Gage to beat Necro to win. **3/4 |

CZW Heavyweight Champion: Super Dragon, Since 12/10/2005 CZW Tag Team Champions: The Kings of Wrestling, Since 9/10/2005 CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Derek Frazier, Since 9/10/2005 CZW Iron Man Champion: Kevin Steen, Since 8/13/2005 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY CZW Ultraviolent Champion: Nick Gage, Since 1/14/2006 ![]() CZW Seven Years Strong February 11th, 2006 Philadelphia, PA They have gone from 1000+ people at Cage of Death to about 100 tonight. In the span of two months. That's really impressive. Match #1: Sabian vs. Hallowicked vs. Jigsaw vs. Heretic vs. Niles Young [Gauntlet Match] Hallowicked and Jigsaw start. Lots of awesome stuff between them. This is apparently TNA gauntlet rules, with the timed entries. Niles is in next. Niles rolls up Hallowicked to eliminate him as Heretic comes out. Horrible. Sabian is in next. They do stuff and Sabian wins. *3/4 Match #2: DJ Hyde vs. Andy Sumner vs. Danny Havoc When DJ hangs back and lets the kids try their hand, it's pretty fun for two rookies. Havoc takes ton of totally disgusting and awesome bumps, and insane bumping is an easy way into my heart. DJ beats Sumner with a Lariat. ** Match #3: Larry Sweeney/The H8 Club vs. Excalibur/Sexxxy Eddie/Viking I have no idea what coked up fantasy this came from, but it is insane to look at. Not a good match at all, due to H8 Club not giving a fuck/having to work a real match, and Eddie and Viking being horrible. The Sweeney/Excalibur sections were amazing though. Sweeney spent about 5 minutes with his ass showing. The H8 Club beats Excalibur with the Spike Piledriver. *3/4 Excalibur is stretchered out post-match. I am sad that he is basically gone, but at the same time, his strength is not his in-ring ability, and they weren't letting him on commentary, so there's not a ton to mourn. Match #4: Necro Butcher vs. The Messiah/The Hellware Assassin Necro is Necro once again. He has no shoes again, but at least has his CHOOSE DEATH shirt tucked in. This is only about 5-6 minutes, but is fun enough. Some fun thumbtack spots, and Necro hits a DDT into the thumbtacks on Assassin to win. **1/4 Match #5: Nate Webb vs. Adam Flash w/ Pandora This sucked. Crowd still hates this feud. Pandora causes a distraction and Flash hits a Yakuza Kick to win. *3/4 Match #6: Derek Frazier [c] vs. Sabian [CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship] Sabian tries to drag the kid to a token indy epic, and it is not there at all. The crowd is dead for it, and Derek is not up to the task. Sabian's control seg was great though. Niles Young comes out to attack both men for the DQ. ** He lays out Sabian with the Tombstone, and Eddie Kingston runs out to save. It is also supposed to be the Kings vs. King/Sabian for the tag titles tonight, but Sabian is hurt. He gets up, but Hero and Claudio immediately come out to start that match. Lobo then comes out, and he says he's running the show for Zandig tonight. He says he's not paying Sabian for a third match tonight, so Kingston is on his own! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Match #7: The Kings of Wrestling [c] vs. Eddie Kingston [CZW Tag Team Championship] This is really great. Tons of awesome Kingston selling. Great Kings bullshit heel work and control segments too. Maven Bentley joins commentary to explain that he can book matches, but he is powerless to overrule decisions that Zandig and Lobo make, since he's only the promoter. AND JOKER RUNS DOWN TO GET THE TAG FROM KINGSTON! YEAH! Good finishing run and King beats Claudio with the Royal Flush. *** Match #8: Super Dragon [c] vs. Ruckus vs. Kevin Steen [CZW Championship] Fun match. SD vs. Steen is the best. Lots of awesome Super Dragon dickhead moments. They don't quite get to great territory, due to a dead crowd and going on too long and having no real story or flow. Ruckus counters Steen's Package Piledriver into a Huracanrana for the win and the belt. **3/4 The rest of BLK-OUT comes down to celebrate with the titles to end the show. |

CZW Heavyweight Champion: Ruckus, Since 2/11/2006 CZW Tag Team Champions: Eddie Kingston/Joker, Since 2/11/2006 CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Derek Frazier, Since 9/10/2005 CZW Iron Man Champion: Kevin Steen, Since 8/13/2005 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY CZW Ultraviolent Champion: Nick Gage, Since 1/14/2006 ![]() CZW When 2 Worlds Collide March 11th, 2006 Phildelphia, PA This is the CZW show from the CZW/ROH doubleheader, and hosts a Generation Next vs. CZW trios match as the main event. CZW XTRA PROMOS: -Video quality is HORRIBLE -Clearly put together doing Windows Movie Maker -Completely unwatchable -The only highlight is Chris Hero sending a video from Mexico, and he says he refuses to participate in the CZW/ROH double header This was apparently after the ROH show, as the ring is still the ROH ring with CZW spraypainted on it. Match #1: Nate Webb/Sexxxy Eddie/The Messiah vs. B-Boy/Sonjay Dutt/Adam Flash w/ Pandora Better than expected, but not amazing or anything. Awesome finishing run. B-Boy is sorely missed in CZW, since at least he tries hard and puts on a good match every show. Not great matches, and he has bad tendencies, but CZW's tull-time roster really lacks depth beyond KOW, BLK-OUT, and Necro. B-Boy beats Webb. **1/2 Match #2: Larry Sweeney vs. Hallowicked vs. Jigsaw vs. Andy Sumner Fun stuff, due to all the CHIKARA guys getting quite good by this time. Hallowicked beats Jigsaw with the Graveyard Smash. **1/2 Match #3: El Generico vs. Justice Pain They try to talk up how good a pure wrestler Pain is, while Generico carries the fuck out of him with bumping and awesome spots and generally puts on one of the best performances of his career to this point. Generico breaks out the amazing through the ropes in the corner Tornado DDT thing for the first time. He takes a nutty bump for the Pain Thriller, and does the job. ![]() **3/4 Match #4: Nick Gage [c] vs. DJ Hyde vs. Danny Havoc [CZW Ultraviolent Championship - Panes of Glass Match] Havoc impresses again. He takes crazy bumps and strikes well and his bumping fills time well before they use the glass for some huge spots. They didn't go on too long, and the stip played into the finish. Good work, CZW! Gage hits a Piledriver to Havoc off the top through the pane of glass to win. **1/2 Before his match, Steen gets on the mic. He says apparently he has to pick a side in all of this CZW/ROH stuff, and despite his issues with Super Dragon, he stepped up this afternoon to fight ROH, and it was brutal. And as he looks around at the fans and bits of glass still in the ring, he has one thing to say to ROH..."PLEASE TAKE ME BACK! I FUCKING HATE IT HERE!" STEEN GETS DOWN ON HIS KNEES AND SAYS HE'LL DO WHATEVER THEY WANT TO THE TITLE, BUT HE WANTS BACK IN ROH! AMAZING! Match #5: Kevin Steen [c] vs. Super Dragon [CZW Iron Man Championship] They lack the hate and raw violence that their PWG matches had, and this is more of a touring match. Still very good. They do stuff, and before it can get great, BJ WHITMER COMES FROM THE CROWD AND LOW BLOWS DRAGON! HOW IS HE STILL ALIVE AFTER EARLIER?! Steen hits the Package Piledriver to win. **3/4 Steen and BJ beat on Steen and Steen gets on the mic. He says Zandig likes to go around and say "fuck the Canadians", but the Canadians, and the California guys saved this fucking company, and Steen challenges SD to find a partner next month to face he and BJ. AND NECRO BUTCHER RUNS OUT TO FIGHT BJ AND STEEN! YEAH! They attack his knee with a bell, before BLK-OUT runs out to save, and Super Dragon gets back in to save too, and BJ and Steen leave out the back door. Match #6: Derek Frazier [c] vs. Sabian vs. Niles Young vs. Cheech vs. Cloudy vs. Heretic [CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship - Ladder Match] Lots of spots. Some messy, some good. Some impressively planned, some super contrived. Niles gets the belt. AWFUL RESULT. **1/4 Match #7: Austin Aries/Roderick Strong/Matt Sydal vs. Eddie Kingston/Ruckus/Necro Butcher Gen Next are awesome as invading heels. Aries as dickhead captain, Strong as the bruiser, and Sydal as the cocky little shit young guy. Kingston has a ton of fire as usual. Necro is Necro, and he blends great knee selling with amazing Necro brawling. The King/Strong chop-off was amazing. Gen Next's control segment was awesome. Great finishing run and King gets beat after the Death By Roderick, Aries' Brianbuster, and Sydal's SSP. ***1/4 Zandig and the H8 Club attack Gen Next post-match so they can get the heat from getting rid of the ROH guys, instead of the super hot babyface stable. Awesome work. Edited by Big Tuna, Jun 16 2012, 06:17 PM.

Total bullshit. Maybe in late 2005-early 2006, you can make an argument that CZW is at its peak and that Hero/Kingston individually is better than any ROH storyline until CZW/ROH really gets going, because that's the stuff that got me watching the shows a lot faster and the thing that people obviously care the most about. But ROH is in its peak period at this time and I don't think anything anywhere at that point touches that run. |

CZW Heavyweight Champion: Ruckus, Since 2/11/2006 CZW Tag Team Champions: Eddie Kingston/Joker, Since 2/11/2006 CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Niles Young, Since 3/11/2006 CZW Iron Man Champion: Kevin Steen, Since 8/13/2005 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY CZW Ultraviolent Champion: Nick Gage, Since 1/14/2006 ![]() CZW Any Questions? April 16th, 2005 Philadelphia, PA CZW X-TRA: -The H8 Club, Zandig, and Lobo talk about how boring the ROH show was and how bad the CZW main event with ROH guys was. Yeah, only one of the two best matches you've put on all year -Video is still totally unwatchable here -Maybe don't throw the guy in charge of video production and editing down a fucking staircase -The big match I'm hyped for is Steen/BJ vs. Super Dragon/Necro, which got no hype at all Important to note that on the website, the show was hyped with a main event of BLK-OUT vs. ROH stars, hinting at a Rottweilers combo. Which would have been totally unreal The ROH students, Hagadorn, Pelle, and some other dude, are in the crowd, heckling everyone. Match #1: Andy Sumner vs. Drew Gulak vs. Ravage Ravage is still horrible. The students were fine enough. This is at least only six minutes. Sumner is decent, especially by comparison to the other rookies. Sort of like the Davey Andrews of the group. Some fun strength spots as well. Sumner wins with a Guillotine Choke. *3/4 The ROH students heckle them as they leave, AND CHRIS HERO COMES OUT! He gets on the mic and says the Savior of CZW is back, and he smells pussy. In fact, he smells three. He says if they want to make assholes out of themselves, they should at least do it in the ring, so he can prepare to beat up three ROH wrestlers next Saturday at their 100th show. They agree and get in the ring. Match #2: Chris Hero vs. Shane Hagadorn/Pelle Primeau/Matt Turner Pelle is already taking insane bumps. This is a lot of fun, although surely Hero against actual ROH guys would prove a better point. Gargulio accidentally buries CZW by saying the top ROH guys would never come here. Hero actually gives the ROH kids way too much. Hero comes back into it, AND GETS A CRAVAT FOR A GIGANTIC POP! There's so much more CZW could have done with their half, but I'm coming around to enjoy what they did actually do, especially with it turning Hero babyface in a really organic way. Hero hits a Piledriver and a Flying Splash to win as a message to Adam Pearce. The bell rings, but it keeps going, so it is now an elimination match? Hero beats Pelle with the Wrist-Clutch Exploder to send a message to BJ and then Turner is beat with the Muscle Buster and The Choke. **1/4 Hero gets on the mic post-match and asks everyone to come to that other building in Philadelphia next weekend to cheer on CZW, and they would show that CZW owns Philadelphia. He says he will not fail CZW like certain Kings of Diamonds and champions did last month, AND BLK-OUT COMES OUT! Hero leaves and Eddie yells to get the fuck in the ring. Ruckus says the last time Hero was here, BLK-OUT beat the fuck out of him, and speaking of champions, he's the one who lost to Danielson, and he challenges Hero to a match. Hero says he'll fight him if he puts up the title and gets BLK-OUT out of the ring. Ruckus gets them to leave, and Hero says since Ruckus brought up Danielson, he says if he wasn't in a match earlier that day, he'd be ROH Champion right now. Hero says he's learned from that, and since he just had a match, they'll do this some other time. Hero leaves and Ruckus says he'll put the belt up against Hero any time, any place. Really good angle. Oh, but then Zandig and Lobo come out and they say this doesn't concern BLK-OUT ,and they leave. Zandig complains about ROH being afraid of CZW and they'll prove it next week. Zandig says Best of the Best will be open to any ROH talent that wants in, and says anything goes in all the BOTB matches. He says BOTB will be in the afternoon, so fans will have time to go to the ROH show in Jersey that night. Match #3: El Generico vs. Hallowicked vs. Jigsaw [BOTB Qualifying Match[ This is very good. Generico doesn't mesh that well with the CHIKARA guys at this point for whatever reason, but they have some decent spots once the finishing run gets going. Jig hits Hallowicked with the Jig n' Tonic for the win. **3/4 Match #4: B-Boy/Adam Flash w/ Pandora vs. The Messiah/Altar Boy Luke This got 13 minutes while the last three way got only 8. Fucking CZW. Pandora distracts Messiah with her...something? I don't know. She lacks epic tits and/or ass, and isn't that pretty. Only about a 5. So I guess Messiah is bored or drunk. B-Boy beats ABL. *3/4 Match #5: DJ Hyde vs. Danny Havoc [Tables Match] This is at least only 5 minutes. Havoc impresses with lots of bumps. Havoc being confused at what to do when on offense is great. DJ hurls him through a table to win. Danny wants a rematch and says he'll have to kill him. He gets over HUGE from taking lots of nutty bumps and shit. DJ throws Danny off the balcony through a table to finally win. ** Match #6: Necro Butcher/Super Dragon vs. Kevin Steen/BJ Whitmer AWESOME MATCH! Necro and SD is a dream team. Lots of awesome spots, but it's mostly a classic out of control Necro brawl. SD hits Steen with the Psycho Driver #2, and then hits the original Psycho Driver on Steen's title belt for the win. *** Match #7: Cheech vs. Cloudy vs. Derek Frazier [Junior Heavyweight #1 Contender's Match] Cheech and Cloudy carry the kid to a very good spotfest. Then because this is CZW and CZW is horrible, Frazier wins. **3/4 Match #8: Ruckus/Eddie Kingston/Joker/Sabian vs. The H8 Club/Christopher Bishop/Lionel Knight Yep. No Rottweilers. This is your main event. Awesome work. This might have been decent, but it got 26 minutes. Both managers are there. BLK-OUT all looks good, but god damn, there's only so much they can do, especially when none of them are equipped for long matches. Hero and Sweeney are both on commentary and when Eric makes shoot comments at Gabe, both shut their fucking mouths since they obviously want jobs and would get jobs in ROH. The Canadians walks out on the H8 Club. Sabian beats Gage with a Flying Double Stomp. **1/4 Post-match, The H8 Club challenges the Canadians to a match next month. Zandig and Lobo bring them back to the ring and The H8 Club kills the kids. Zandig yells CZ FUCKING W and says they ARE CZW. AND BLK-OUT COMES OUT! KINGSTON SLAPS ZANDIG AND ATTACKS ALL OF THEM! FUCK YEAH! A big brawl ends up breaking out. |

CZW Heavyweight Champion: Ruckus, Since 2/11/2006 CZW Tag Team Champions: Eddie Kingston/Joker, Since 2/11/2006 CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Niles Young, Since 3/11/2006 CZW Iron Man Champion: Kevin Steen, Since 8/13/2005 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY CZW Ultraviolent Champion: Nick Gage, Since 1/14/2006 ![]() CZW Best of the Best VI May 13th, 2006 Philadelphia, PA The tournament this year has four triple threat matches with the man pinned being eliminated. The two who are left have a singles match later on, and then a four way is in the finals. CZW has also promised to get the show over with as fast as possible so fans have time to get to the ROH show later in the night. This show is already like 5 hours, so let's skip the X-tra promos. Match #1: Austin Aries vs. Jigsaw vs. B-Boy w/ Pandora [1st Round] Good stuff. Aries is great as invading dickhead heel once again. They have a lot of great spots, and B-Boy is also kind of a dick. Only like 7 minutes, but really awesome. Jigsaw hits Aries with the Jig n' Tonic and has it won, but B-Boy breaks the pin with the Shining Wizard. It sends Aries back and both men cover Jigsaw to eliminate him. **3/4 Match #2: Roderick Strong vs. Jay Lethal vs. Claudio Castagnoli [1st Round] Claudio is super over after turning on ROH in April. This is slower and more average than the first. Strong gets a schoolboy on Lethal with the tights to win. **1/2 Match #3: Matt Sydal vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Sabian [1st Round] Sabian vs. Sydal is AWESOME. This is way too short though, and Sabian rolls up Dutt to win. **1/4 Niles Young is supposed to be in the tournament and defending the belt, but he says he's not putting the belt on the line in the tournament, and he won't even be in it. He leaves, and Maven Bentley comes out and says any CZW wrestler can step up. Chris Hero comes out, but so does Ruckus. Hero gets on the mic and says to a lot of people, Ruckus IS CZW, and he's been trying to win BOTB for like six years now, so he'll step aside and let Ruckus take his spot. Ruckus accepts and Kingston on commentary yelling at Ruckus not to make a deal with Hero and that Hero has something planned and then yelling at the fans for cheering Hero is fantastic. Hero says he'll step aside on one condition, and that's that after he beats ROH and wins BOTB, he wants that title shot at a show of his choosing, and Ruckus accepts. Match #4: Ruckus [c] w/ Robbie Mireno vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Derek Frazier [CZW Championship - 1st Round] They do stuff for a bit. Daniels beats Frazier with the Angel's Wings. **1/4 Daniels gets on the mic and says he wants to beat Ruckus for the belt, not Frazier, and he gives the belt back to Ruckus and challenges him to defend it against him in the next round, and he agrees. Match #5: Team AnDrew vs. Pelle Primeau/Rhett Titus Decent enough for a student vs. student match. This is blatant filler and goes on way too long, and it is now that people begin to realize that CZW's line about ending the show in a timely fashion so people have time to get to ROH was total bullshit. The CZW grads win. *1/2 Match #6: Up in Smoke vs. Heretic/Ravage TO FURTHER THE ROH/CZW THING, UP IN SMOKE COME OUT TO THE OLD SPECIAL K THEME AND SPECIAL K SHIRTS AND WANT BACK IN ROH! AMAZING! Ravage still blows, but Heretic looked good. Then of course, Cheech and Cloudy are an amazing team, but as this is CZW, they didn't get to show it. Goes too long and Ravage is the worst. Crowd is dead after the last match. Cheech walks out on Cloudy and the awful team wins. *3/4 Match #7: Austin Aries vs. B-Boy w/ Pandora [Semi-Finals] B-Boy is situational face here, and this is very good. A lot of moves basically, but it was short and they all looked good. Aries goes to the finals with the Brainbuster. **3/4 Match #8: Claudio Castagnoli vs. Roderick Strong [Semi-Finals] Not great, but lots of awesome strikes and matwork. Claudio wins with the Neutralizer. **3/4 Match #9: Matt Sydal vs. Sabian [Semi-Finals] Real good shit. Lots of crisp high flying. Sabian hits a disgustingly great Double Stomp and then puts on the Stretch Plum for the win. **3/4 Match #10: Ruckus [c] vs. Christopher Daniels [CZW Championship - 1st Round] Par for the course in this tournament, as it's really good, but not quite great. Daniels dominates like 99% of it, and it's mostly solid stuff. Daniels works on the neck all match, and then Ruckus gets a flash Victory Roll after a series of reversals for the win. **3/4 The Finals is now Ruckus vs. Claudio vs. Sabian vs. Aries. Match #11: Eddie Kingston/Joker [c] vs. Necro Butcher/Super Dragon [CZW Tag Team Championship] OH SHIT YES. This is normal tag rules, so it's not totally goddamned insane, but there's a lot of great stuff due to everyone being who they are. Gets crazy at the end with lots of head drops and brutal offense and the like. Super Dragon hits Eddie with the Psycho Driver, but he is not legal and when he goes to cover, Joker gets him with a Crucifix Pin to win. Oh also, Necro did a Claw Hold. *** Match #12: Niles Young w/ Chrissy Rivera vs. Cloudy Wait, what? Why is this happening? I assume it is another blatant tactic by Zandig to elongate the show to fuck over ROH and the fans. This, of course, is backfiring, as the crowd has noticeably shrunk in size as people leave to make it to the ROH show. Cloudy does what he can, but Niles is THE WORST. He wins with a Tombstone. *3/4 Match #13: The H8 Club vs. Lionel Knight/Christopher Bishop Overly long H8 Club squash, basically. They finally win after like 15-20 minutes of which they got 90% of the offense with a Spike Piledriver. *1/2 Match #14: Ruckus [c] w/ Robbie Mireno vs. Austin Aries vs. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Sabian [BEST OF THE BEST VI FINALS - CZW Championship] Good shit. Could have used with being shorter, which is hilarious since just about every match in the tournament wasn't given time to develop. Gotta give a H8 Club squash 20 minutes, of course. They clearly were killing time in the first half, and then the finishing run had the crowd totally dead. Ruckus beats Aries with a Rolling Fisherman's Suplex. **3/4 Ruckus celebrates with the trophy and belt, BUT CHRIS HERO RUNS OUT AND ATTACKS HIM! HE SAYS THAT TIME AND PLACE IS RIGHT NOW! FUCK YEAH! Match #15: Ruckus [c] vs. Chris Hero [CZW Championship] Awesome angle. Hero's taunting is fantastic, and he beats the fuck out of Ruckus. This probably didn't need to go on as long as it did to get the point across, but it was all good. Hero wins the belt with the Hero's Welcome: Championship Edition. ** Claudio comes back out, and Hero and Claudio celebrate to the back with the CHIKARA tag belts and now the CZW title. Really fantastic booking of the angle with Hero and Ruckus tonight. Oh, but it's not over! Ruckus gets up, and Christopher Daniels comes out. He helps him up and applauds for him. He raises his hand, but then kicks him in the dick! He breaks the trophy and hits the Angel's Wings, and Strong and Aries and Sydal run out too and the ROH guys beat up Sabian. The rest of BLK-OUT runs out to save, and they bail through the crowd. CZW isn't as bad with the feud as I had always heard, but they do a lot of infuriating things, such as never following up on this super hot angle. This could have been an amazing show if they gave time to the tournament (and cut down the time for the finals), while also cutting down the blatant filler that caused the crowd to leave and/or stop caring for the second half of the show. Vintage CZW. |

CZW Heavyweight Champion: Chris Hero, Since 5/13/2006 CZW Tag Team Champions: Eddie Kingston/Joker, Since 2/11/2006 CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Niles Young, Since 3/11/2006 CZW Iron Man Champion: Kevin Steen, Since 8/13/2005 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY CZW Ultraviolent Champion: Nick Gage, Since 1/14/2006 ![]() CZW Strictly CZW June 10th, 2006 Philadelphia, PA X-TRA PROMOS: -BLK-OUT and Pandora's Box are yelling at each other and they want a tag title shot -Cheech is mad that he got stuck with Cloudy again -Chris Daniels says CZW isn't even a blip on his radar compared to ROH, and says Ruckus may be the best wrestler in CZW, but that's like being the cleanest pig in the pen -Eddie Kingston says everybody wants to be hard like BLK-OUT, but it's not that way. He says people want to cheer Chris Hero too, but it can't be like that, because Hero is a fucking con artist. He challenges Zandig, Lobo, and The H8 Club to stop fucking with matches people want to see to try and get themselves over, and says this is why ROH is better than CZW and everyone knows it. -Larry Sweeney challenges any Canadian to fight him so he can prove himself to The H8 Club -Chris Hero brags about winning the title, AND EDDIE KINGSTON STORMS INTO THE PROMO ROOM AND SHOVES HIM! People try to break them up, and Claudio hits Kingston with a normal sitting chair from behind. Hero says he'll never see this title this close again, and they bail. Kevin Steen comes out to open the show. He is mad about not being in BOTB, and says he used to hate all the fans, but he realized what he hates about CZW is John Zandig. He says he hates the Canadians and he talks about them like they're pieces of shit, but the Canadians saved this place when it was awful. He says he hasn't been a great Iron Man Champion so far, but to really make Zandig pay, he has to be the best Champion he can be. He says he's supposed to face BJ Whitmer tonight along with some other guys, but BJ Whitmer can kiss his fucking ass, and he introduces a six way with shitty Canadians. Match #1: Max Boyer vs. Christopher Bishop vs. Lionel Knight vs. Matt Bison vs. Jeff Flurry vs. Nick Watts This SUCKED. Boyer is the best of them, and he is the definition of mediocre. This is at least only 5 minutes and Boyer wins. *1/4 Match #2: Hallowicked vs. Jigsaw vs. Danny Havoc [Ladder Match] Apparently the winner gets to make any match they want. Solid spotfest. Not quite great since the CHIKARA guys are clearly uncomfortable with this kind of a gimmick and Havoc is a rookie. Nick Gage is on commentary and keeps yelling at them for not going for pins. Niles Young and his comically short hideous valet are in the front row. Havoc wins. **1/2 Havoc gets on the mic. He says he wants to be in Tournament of Death and he wants DJ Hyde in TOD too. He says he also wants to fight Zandig, who comes out. He puts Havoc over for moving from Iowa to train in the CZW school and having won over everyone, so it's Zandig vs. Hyde vs. Havoc in the first round of TOD. Match #3: Larry Sweeney vs. Beef Wellington Awesome 5 minute comedy match. Then BLK-OUT comes out and attacks Sweeney for the DQ. ** They all stomp on him, and I have no idea why this is happening. I guess as part of the Sweeney/Kingston feud from CHIKARA? Kingston gets on the mic and brings up Hero being champion and tells the fans to get off his dick and asks how he's supposed to respect a company when that asshole is champion. Ruckus then calls out Zandig and The H8 Club and says they're holding their boy hostage until they come out for their match. Zandig, Lobo, and The H8 Club come out and Zandig asks if they think they give a fuck about Sweeney and they bury him. What the fuck. Zandig says their match will happen later and they'll beat the fuck out of them, Ruckus says they ain't scared and Zandig takes credit for making all of them, and Zandig says they're going to get a fucking brutal ass fucking beating tonight, and Justice says fuck the bullshit ECW, and this building belongs to CZW now and forever. Nobody cheers. Awesome. CZ FUCKING W RULES TONIGHT. THAT FUCKING MEANS THERE'S NO FUCKING RULES MOTHERFUCKER. Nothing like a Zandig promo. Match #4: Adam Flash/Pandora vs. Sexxxy Eddie/LuFisto LuFisto is a better version of Mickie Knuckles, in that she fights dudes, but is mediocre instead of outright horrible. But yeah, nobody in this match is better than mediore, so it blows. LuFisto and Niles Young's whore fight, and yeah, don't cares. Heels win. *1/2 Match #5: B-Boy vs. Derek Frazier Solid spotfest. Nick Gage is on commentary, and he and Gargulio shit on BLK-OUT all match. They're treating this like BLK-OUT are the heels. What the fuck? Fucking Frazier gets a bullshit win with a roll up of some manner. **1/4 Match #6: Kevin Steen [c] vs. BJ Whitmer vs. Necro Butcher vs. DJ Hyde vs. The Messiah [CZW Iron Man Championship - Tables, Chairs, and Kaos Match] I can't tell if XPW's Kaos will make a run in or if it's just CZW being unable to spell. Necro, Steen, and Whitmer are great enough to get a fun brawl out of this. Necro carries DJ, and Gargulio tries to claim CZW invented NRBW matches. Messiah and DJ mostly sucked though. Credit to BJ for taking a nasty bump onto tacks. Steen then hits him with the Package Piledriver through a table off the apron to win. **3/4 Match #7: Jon Dahmer vs. No. Match #8: Chris Hero [c] vs. Claudio Castagnoli [CZW Championship] They are mad about being forced to fight, but it's Hero vs. Claudio, so it is great. Really cool big man lucha, matwork, counters, etc. They both try to steal the win and it gets more intense. They do moves. Hero wins with the Standing Moonsault. *** Hero shoves Claudio away ppst-match and goes to leave, BUT EDDIE KINGSTON COMES OUT! YEAH! Hero backs into Claudio, who holds him for King, BUT CLAUDIO SHOVES HERO AWAY AND GETS THE EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! Hero says he can't believe he fell for that, and they beat on him, but BLK-OUT runs out to save. Match #9: Eddie Kingston/Ruckus/Sabian/Joker vs. John Zandig/The H8 Club/Lobo Really wild smoke and mirrors spotfest brawl. This is also the debut of Gage's WHOSE THE MAN shirt. A lot like the H8 Club vs. Necro/Toby match from a year ago in terms of how insane they went with it, except without anyone as good as Necro. The Canadians, led by Steen, come out to attack the old guys. Zandig is left all alone and BLK-OUT kills him. Kingston tells the people to go fuck themselves now, and they cut Zandig's hair. Ugh. The pure CZ FUCKING W guys just have to make themselves the babyfaces. AND HERO AND CLAUDIO COME OUT TO SAVE? WHAT?! The match is now just kind of over? Fucking CZW. **3/4 |

CZW Heavyweight Champion: Chris Hero, Since 5/13/2006 CZW Tag Team Champions: Eddie Kingston/Joker, Since 2/11/2006 CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Niles Young, Since 3/11/2006 CZW Iron Man Champion: Kevin Steen, Since 8/13/2005 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY CZW Ultraviolent Champion: Nick Gage, Since 1/14/2006 ![]() CZW A Prelude To Violence July 8th, 2006 Philadelphia, PA Match #1: Niles Young [c] w/ Chrissy Rivera vs. Sexxxy Eddie [CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship] Yeah, this sucked, but it was at least only 7 minutes. Nick Gage joins commentary to shit on the new ECW for no real reason. Thankfully, Eddie liberates the belt from this pile of shit. *1/2 Match #2: Altar Boy Luke/The Messiah vs. Sonjay Dutt/Adam Flash Hey yeah, this sucked. Really blew. Goes almost 14 minutes before Messiah turns on Luke, and that is now a no contest decision? *1/4 Match #3: Team AnDrew vs. New Jersey All Stars JC Ryder is the future Orange Cassidy and is also FIRE ANT! Lucky is Retail Dragon. So this is pretty decent. Enjoyable style battle with lucha vs. amateur wrestling. Ryder shows flashes of how good he will eventually become in about a year or so once The Colony makes the leap from decent to awesome in 2007. Gulak beats JC with the Nazi Stretch, which is a Fujiwara Armbar combined with a Claw Hold. **1/2 Cloudy comes out, and bumps into Lucky and Ryder. Match #4: Cheech vs. Cloudy I wish they had like 10-12 minutes instead of 7, but it was a great spotfest anyways. Lots of learned counter spots, and Cheech wins with The Deluxe. **3/4 Ryder and Lucky come back out to attack Cloudy, AND CHEECH RUNS OUT TO SAVE! FUCK YEAH! CZW FINALLY just lets Up in Smoke be a fucking tag team. Match #5: Joker/Sabian [c] vs. Kevin Steen/El Generico vs. The H8 Club [CZW Tag Team Championship] I guess BLK-OUT works under Freebird Rules now. Steenerico vs. BLK-OUT is great shit. Sabian has started doing this awesome thing where he goes up top, shoots an air basket and instead of calling out Kobe, he yells "TOGO!" and hits a beautiful Back Senton. Generico has a beautiful dive and it all breaks down into a great brawl. Generico takes lunatic bumps. The H8 Club gets Generico with a Spike Piledriver, but Sabian breaks up the pin with a Flying Double Stomp and steals the pin to win. *** Match #6: JC Bailey vs. Danny Havoc Neither is great in the ring, but they're decent enough for this not to be totally worthless. Picks up huge when they break out the weapons. Havoc takes a ton of insane bumps onto tacks and chairs. The fans start chanting "FUCK ROH" for no real reason. DJ comes out and Havoc takes an insane Lariat bump and JC covers to win. **1/2 Eddie Kingston comes out for his match and asks where all the haters are and where the assholes are who shit on CZW and still come back. What the fuck? He cut promos all through the last show shitting on CZW. He says fuck everyone else who ain't down with BLK-OUT, and everyone cheers. See? DON'T TURN YOUR HOTTEST ACT HEEL TO PUT OVER OLD GUYS NOBODY CARES ABOUT. FUCK. I mean, shit, I can at least buy into King getting pissed at people embracing Hero, but that's never brought up here. Match #7: Eddie Kingston w/ BLK-OUT vs. Claudio Castagnoli [If King Wins, He Gets Hero] Awesome slugfest. They do a great job getting over that King is looking past Claudio and pays for it. They do a lot of big moves and strikes and headdrops. They'll do better in 2007, 2008, and 2009, but this was great by CZW standards. Hero comes out to stop King from using a chair, and BLK-OUT chases him off. It allows Claudio to get a roll up though, and he wins. *** Kingston goes on the mic and says fuck the fans and CZW and storms off. They are trying so hard to make people hate him. Match #8: Jigsaw/Derek Frazier/Jon Dahmer vs. Hallowicked/DJ Hyde/Rick Fienberg Why is this happening? They do some stuff. The CHIKARA guys and Frazier look great. Jigsaw beats Rick with the Jig n' Tonic. ** Match #9: Chris Hero [c] vs. Necro Butcher [CZW Championship] Hero asked for Necro to toughen each other up for the Cage of Death next week against ROH. This is fucking great. It's mostly a big brawl. Not epic, since it's not the main event and Necro is so smart about stuff like that, but still great. Necro shows off some incredible knocked out selling at the end, and had an awesome desperation flurry, but Hero cut it off and hit a Standing Moonsault to win. ***1/4 BLK-OUT minus Ruckus runs out and attacks both men. They toss out Necro, and Claudio runs out to save. It's still a 3 on 2 though, and Necro gets back in to save. Match #10: Ruckus vs. John Zandig [Barbed Wire Match] The ropes are merely wrapped in the wire, not NRBW. Zandig is now all bald, except with the long ponytail. This sure happened. Ruckus did his best to make fucking Zandig look competent. BLK-OUT comes out, AND THAT'S A FUCKING DQ IN A BARBED WIRE MATCH. GREAT WORK, GUYS! ** The old out of shape CZW guys run off the BLK-OUT. Awesome. |

CZW Heavyweight Champion: Chris Hero, Since 5/13/2006 CZW Tag Team Champions: Eddie Kingston/Joker, Since 2/11/2006 CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Niles Young, Since 3/11/2006 CZW Iron Man Champion: Kevin Steen, Since 8/13/2005 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY CZW Ultraviolent Champion: Nick Gage, Since 1/14/2006 ![]() CZW Tournament of Death V July 29th, 2006 Smyrna, DE Tournament layout is all fucked up: -Four three-ways in the first round with BOTB rules, where the two men who aren't pinned move on -They then have two tag matches with the winners -Four way in the finals This show is apparently in a forest clearing. Match #1: Nick Gage vs. Andy Sumner vs. Brandon Prophet [Quarterfinals - Barbed Wire Ropes & Lighttubes] Prophet is a fat southern dude working a Chris Daniels knockoff deal. Gage destroying him with the wire and glass was awesome. That fat fuck Prophet pins Sumner to win. ** Match #2: JC Bailey vs. Lobo vs. Brain Damage [Quarterfinals - Lighttubes & Barbed Wire Spiderwebs] Drake is debuting, so that is important. He immediately makes a name for himself by taking lunatic bumps and really taken most of the big spots in this. Ruckus and Mireno come out to attack Lobo and JC and Drake cover to win. **1/4 Match #3: Necro Butcher vs. Toby Klein vs. Brain Damage [Quarterfinals - Fans Bring The Weapons] This is obviously the best match so far. Only actual great match of the tournament, most likely. More of a Necro match than an ultraviolent match. Wild crowd brawl, chair throwing, chaos, etc. BRAIN DAMAGE HIP TOSSES TOBY OFF A UHAUL TRAILER THROUGH FOUR TABLES HOLY SHIT! They refuse to use the shitty fan made weapons and start beating the holy shit out of each other. That's what makes Necro the greatest of all these guys, he has enough awesome stuff in between the huge spots to make them seem even more gigantic. Also, he sells and is a loveable character, so you care what happens in his matches. It ends up in a completely disgusting three way punch-off, and Toby is knocked out, so BD covers him to win. ***1/2 Match #4: John Zandig vs. DJ Hyde vs. Danny Havoc [Quarterfinals - Barbed Wire Ropes, Boards, & Panes of Glass] This happened. They were smart to only have it be like 8 minutes, and I like this stip because it's based around building to a few key bumps with the panes and the board instead of aimless violence. DJ and Danny both get weedwhackers, and Maven Bentley distracts Zandig by cutting off his stupid fucking ponytail, and DJ and Danny both get Zandig in the gut with the weedwhackers, and pin him to win. **1/2 They act as id Danny has turned heel, and the crowd throws shit after Zandig runs them both off. BRO, IT'S OKAY TO SELL A BEATING WHEN YOU'VE BEEN HIT IN THE GUT WITH A WEEDWHACKER. In the "back", Maven, DJ, and Danny cut a promo. Maven says Zandig hasn't done shit in the last three years, and he's the one who's been behind CZW being great. Match #5: Dragonfly vs. Eradication vs. Blood This is not CHIKARA's Dragonfly. This is three rookies having to follow deathmatches. So, what the fuck? I mean, hey, I complained last year that there was nothing but deathmatches, but the solution is not throwing rookies out there. This sucked. Blood won. DICK BLOOD Match #6: Ruckus/Robbie Mireno vs. Drew Gulak/Jimmy Dream Dream is also a brand new rookie, and Mireno is a manager. Drew only has about a year under his belt, so Ruckus is the only competent one there. BLK-OUT won. *1/2 Match #7: Kylie Pierce vs. Chad Austin WHY? GET BACK TO THE FUCKING TOURNAMENT. This looks like their first match ever, and the crowd responds for the first time since the last tournament match with a "SUCK HIS DICK" chant. The cunt wins. 1/4* Match #8: Necro Butcher/Brandon Prophet vs. Nick Gage/Brain Damage [Semi-Finals - Barbed Wire & Panes of Glass] Necro does the best he can. I enjoy Prophet getting maimed. Anything involving Necro was awesome, and luckily, they kept the camera on him. Brain Damage surprisingly KO's Necro with a series of punches to win. **3/4 Match #9: DJ Hyde/Danny Havoc vs. Drake Younger/JC Bailey [Semi-Finals - Lemons, Lighttubes, and Panes of Glass] More of an aimless spots and light tubes type deal. Drake beats Havoc with a Drake's Landing onto many light tubes. **1/2 Match #10: George W. Baus vs. Joe Gacey Another filler rookie match. They are in street clothes and look like they have no professional training. If only Andy had advanced far enough in his yardtarding to get booked on Tournament of Death. This is the worst thing I've ever seen. Baus wins. Ford being happy Match #11: Nick Gage vs. JC Bailey vs. Drake Younger vs. Brain Damage [Finals - Lots of Bullshit Gimmicks Match] They have some cool spots, but it goes on way too long at over 20 minutes. Yeah. Gage wins with a Back Senton off the truck through tables and glass onto Bailey. **1/2 |

Match #1: Sonjay Dutt w/ Pandora vs. Andy Sumner vs. Drew Gulak vs. Derek Frazier [Junior #1 Contender' It is implied that Pandora gave Maven Bentley a blowjob to get Dutt in this match. This happens and Dutt wins. *1/2 Maven Bentley and Danny Havoc come out. Maven cuts his same promo from TOD, and Zandig introduces a mystery guy to fight Havoc, and it's Wifebeater, an old useless CZW deathmatch guy. Match #2: Danny Havoc vs. Wifebeater Wifebeater is shirtless, so I guess he just hates his wife. This is all of 4 minutes. He's pretty horrible too, and the only bright spot is insane Danny bumps. Wifebeater wins. *1/4 Zandig comes out and then they cut Danny's hair. BLK-OUT comes out and they attack the old assholes. The H8 Club tries to get in, but the Canadians come out to attack them and they brawl away. DJ Hyde also gets in the cage and Maven Bentley directs traffic and Ruckus says not to fuck with BLK-OUT. The attack goes on way too long and Zandig eventually is thrown out of the cage. Ruckus says fuck CZW and it's all about BLK-OUT. Kingston goes to leave but Ruckus says they ain't done yet. Ruckus says he brought Kingston in to watch his back while Joker was in Iraq. Ruckus asks what the fuck he was doing in ROH teaming with Chris Hero and since he's been getting pinned by people all year, he asks what the fuck he brought him in for. AND BLK-OUT ATTACKS KINGSTON NO! They whip him with a strap and then choke him out before leaving. Not a bad move, since Kingston was the reason BLK-OUT isn't getting booed, since he's become so beloved. Match #3: Larry Sweeney vs. LuFisto Sweeney had some awesome comedy spots as usual and celebrates after every move. LuFisto isn't bad, hardly great, bit hits hard and will take big bumps, so she's alright with me. Sweeney gets a pin with his feet on the ropes to win. ** Zandig comes out and books LuFisto on the Canadian team in the main event, since she was impressive. I guess? I mean, she wasn't bad. Match #4: Up in Smoke vs. New Jersey All Stars MOTN so far, as UIS are beginning to become a really great team and Retail Dragon and Fire Ant are both solid. Cloudy is starting to do a ton of super crisp and exciting lucha stuff. Lucky schoolboys Cloudy with the tights to win. **1/2 Cheech walks out on Cloudy. Match #5: Necro Butcher/Altar Boy Luke vs. Adam Flash/The Messiah w/ Pandora Necro did what he could, but this mostly happened. Too much awful for him to overcome. MEssiah beats Luke with a shitty TKO. ** Yeah, so the main event: -The Canadians and BLK-OUT will have 4 men on a team, but the Forefathers will have 3. No real reason why. -Also, I guess Zandig is in the hospital so they're down to just The H8 Club. -It will be elimination rules until one team is all out, and then it's one and done -If Steen is beat, he will lose the Iron Man Title to them The H8 Club comes out last and brings out Eddie Kingston as their new third man. Match #6: Eddie Kingston/The H8 Club vs. Ruckus/Sabian/Joker/Robbie Mireno vs. Kevin Steen/El Generico/Frankie The Mobster/LuFisto [ALL OUT WAR~] Ruckus and Joker are holding the tag titles, so I guess Ruckus gets the tag belt? This was good. It's hard for it not to be with most of CZW's best guys in there. I will not run down everything because it's not worth the fucking effort. LuFisto beats Steen to win the Iron Man Title. Gets down to Kingston vs. Ruckus, and Kingston wins with a Lariat. **3/4 |

CZW Heavyweight Champion: Eddie Kingston, Since 9/9/2006 CZW Tag Team Champions: Vacant CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Jigsaw, Since 9/9/2006 CZW Iron Man Champion: LuFisto, Since 8/12/2006 CZW Ultraviolent Champion: Nick Gage, Since 1/14/2006 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY ![]() CZW Last Team Standing October 14th, 2006 Philadelphia, PA The titles have been finally declared vacant due to the horrible booking of BLK-OUT, and this show holds an eight team tournament. Match #1: The Kings of Wrestling vs. Team Masturbation [Quarterfinals] Solid KOW showcase to establish them as the clear favorites after not having teamed in a long time. Excalibur and Beef have some solid comedy, but eventually they get destroyed. Hero cuts off the Excalibur Driver on CC with a Yakuza Kick and Claudio gets a Jackknife Pin to win. **1/4 Match #2: Up in Smoke vs. Team Andrew [Quarterfinals] Gargulio doesn't know the brackets, so I can't get excited for a potential UIS/KOW semi-final just yet. Sumner is still easily better than Gulak. Cheech and Cloudy have just about become a genuinely great babyface tag team by now. Sumner beats Cloudy with the Triangle Choke. HAHAHAH WHAT HTE FUCK?! BULLSHIT. BULLSHITTERY AFOOT. ** Cheech walks out on Cloudy again. BLK-OUT has a new personal announcer, and he gives Ruckus an amazing intro. THE AJ STYLES OF BLACK AND MILDS, THE TEDDY LONG OF HITTING THE BONG, THE JAKE THE SNAKE OF GETTING BAKED. HAILING FROM CHOCOLATE CITY, THIS IS RUCKUS! Then Tornado comes out as his partner. Match #3: Ruckus/Human Tornado w/ Robbie Mireno vs. New Jersey All Stars [Quarterfinals] Tornado vs. the unmasked Fire Ant is a lot of fun. This is the best match so far, but not great or anything. Just a lot of enjoyable stuff going on. Tornado wins with DAT NIGGA DEAD. **1/2 Justice Pain comes out and says his brother will be here in a little bit and warns the fans not to fuck with him, because he's having a lot of problems personally. He says Zandig didn't even want him to compete here, but Nick Gage won't stay gone ever, and he needs the money, and says he's getting a hot dog and then he'll come out to the ring and kick some fucking ass. Match #4: The H8 Club vs. The Dead Presidents [Lo Lincoln/Boog Washington] [Quarterfinals] Boog is Boogalou, who was wither in Da Hit Squad or the Natural Born Sinners. This absolutely happened. NICK GAGE RUNS OUT AFTER A FEW MINUTES, FINISHING HIS HOT DOG, AND HE GETS IN. The H8 Club wins. Gage wanders around ringside arguing with fans and never actually wrestles. He steals beer from at least 5 fans. 3/4* Gage wants to fight the ring announcer, but is led to the back. This is AMAZING. Match #5: LuFisto [c] vs. DJ Hyde w/ Maven Bentley [CZW Iron Man Championship] This is kind of hard to watch, since LuFisto takes a completely insane beating. Hyde selling for her at all is totally ridiculous. MANA THE POLYNESIAN WARRIOR HITS DJ WITH A BAT AND LUFISTO WINS. AHAHAHA HWHATR?! *1/2 Nick Gage tries to attack LuFisto now, and Lobo and Zandig stop him. Gage calls Lobo an old retired piece of shit and Zandig says they're supposed to be a team and Gage needs to get his shit together. Gage then challenges fans to fight and gets back in to shake their hands. He says they're both over the hill and Zandig tells him to get his shit together before he gets his ass kicked. They leave and Gage challenges more fans to fight. He yells, "I RUN SHIT. FUCK ZANDIG! FUCK LOBO! FUCK PAIN! FUCK MY MOM! FUCK MY GIRLFRIEND, FUCK HER MOM, FUCK HER BOYFRIEND, FUCK ALL OF YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!" This may not be a planned thing, but the self-destruction of Nick Gage is the best storyline in CZW now. Before the next match, Ruckus challenges the Kings to put up the ROH and CHIKARA belts right now. Hero says they don't have three points, so he only puts up the ROH titles. Match #6: The Kings of Wrestling [c] vs. Ruckus/Human Tornado w/ Robbie Mireno [ROH World Tag Team Championship - Semi-Finals] Greatest match of the night, obviously. Ruckus and Mireno want Tornado to be more serious. This still isn't great, since it ends basically out of nowhere as they beat Tornado with the Dislocator Yakuza Kick. **3/4 BLK-OUT then beats up Tornado and kicks him out. A ninja then runs out to save. Okay then. And then they beat the fuck out of him. Rainman and Onyx then come to save, and Gargulio yells that they are the original BLK-OUT. GREAT. FUCK LIFE. Match #7: The H8 Club vs. Team AnDrew [Semi-Finals] This is a match. Gage is still a lunatic and the H8 Club wins. *3/4 Match #8: Jigsaw [c] vs. Sexxxy Eddie vs. Altar Boy Luke [CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship] Jigsaw tries, but the opponents are pretty horrible. He beats Luke with the Jig n' Tonic. *3/4 Match #9: Eddie Kingston [c] w/ Robbie Mireno vs. Necro Butcher [CZW Championship] THIS WAS THE BEST. The most motherfuckingest slugfest and brawl they are capable of. Huge crowd brawl, and BLK-OUT keeps saving Kingston and the belt. Necro finally punches the life out of Robbie, AND KINGSTON HITS A BACKDROP DRIVER ON THE TOP OF THE WOODEN STEPS JESUS CHRIST. King then hits a Lariat to win. ***1/4 Justice comes out and says Nick Gage is nowhere to be found and has just wandered off, so he'll do it by himself. Zandig comes out and says he can't make him do it alone, and calls out anyone to be his partner, and of all people, Human Tornado comes out. Match #10: The Kings of Wrestling vs. Justice Pain/Human Tornado [Finals - CZW Tag Team Championship] This is good, but obviously not great. Tornado vs. KOW is all fucking great. About halfway through, Justice Pain gives up and walks out on the match. Tornado is beat with the KRS-ONE AND THE KINGS BECOME TRIPLE CHAMPIONS! **3/4 BLK-OUT runs out and attacks the Kings AND HERO AND KINGSTON FIGHT AGAIN! YES! FINALLY! Kingston yells that tonight should have been his moment. He says when he won the CZW Title, he should have won, but then Hero won the ROH Tag Titles, and Hero always has to one up him, and he will never outshine him. Kingston says this won't end until one of them is dead AND KINGSTON STARTS CHOKING HERO WITH HIS HANDS! HE KEEPS CHOKING HIM FOR LIKE A MINUTE WHAT THE FUCK!? Kingston lets go and the fans cheer for Hero, SO KINGSTON STARTS CHOKING HIM AGAIN! He yells that he's going to kill him in the ring right now, AND NECRO BUTCHER COMES OUT AND THROWS A FUCKING TRAFFIC CONE AT THEM! YEAH! Awesome awesome angle. |

It is in a field outside a ghetto as fuck amusement park. Match #1: The Kings of Wrestling [c] vs. Rainman/Onyx [CZW Tag Team Championship] Hero and Claudio do what they can. Rainman is still mediocre as hell and Onyx is not much. No idea why CZW brought them in. They retain after the Assisted Hero's Welcome. **1/4 Match #2: WHACKS vs. George W. Baus WHACKS, the photographer at ringside, is making his debut for this total abortion. WHACKS finally wins. 1/900* Match #3: Niles Young vs. Altar Boy Luke No. Match #4: Ruckus/Sabian vs. Human Tornado/Drew Gulak Best match yet, since there's only one guy in there who isn't awesome. They're clearly in house show mode though, which you can't really begrudge them for, since it's in a fucking field. Falls apparently count anywhere, as Sabian dives off the truck to Gulak on a table that doesn't break, and that gives them the win. **1/2 Match #5: LuFisto [c] vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Beef Wellington [CZW Iron Man Championship - Light Tube Ropes] This sucked. LuFisto takes a shitty light tube bump and then everyone starts to take them and it drags on a lot. LuFisto beats Eddie after the Emerald Frosion on some glass. *3/4 Match #6: DJ Hyde vs. Mana the Polynesian Warrior [Barbed Wire Boards] This is a truly sensational spectacle of an awful match. They brawl and slip all over the grass and almost nothing connects. The boards look like shit, and DJ wins with a Lariat. 1/2* Match #7: Necro Butcher/Danny Havoc vs. The Dead Presidents YEAH NECRO FUCKS UP BOOGALOU AND A HORRIBLE ROOKIE! Unfortunately, the Dead Presidents were too useless for Necro to get a great match out of them. Necro hitting Boogalou in the dick with a pumpkin was the best. Necro then also throws the pumpkin to make the save when he can't. The fans bury TDP under chairs and Havoc hits a Moonsault. He covers a clearly face down Boogalou to win. **1/4 Match #8: Nick Gage [c] vs. Drake Younger [CZW Ultraviolent Championship - NO ROPES BARBED WIRE] Gage is wearing long sleeves and jeans because he's a pussy. Drake is wearing shorts, but neither is as ballsy as Corino wearing normal wrestling trunks to a NRBW match. Drake takes most of the wire stuff. LuFisto comes out to attack Gage in revenge and Drake hits a Death Valley Bomb on a barbed wire chair to win the belt. **3/4 |

CZW Heavyweight Champion: Eddie Kingston, Since 9/9/2006 CZW Tag Team Champions: Sabian/Robbie Mireno, Since 11/11/2006 CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion: Jigsaw, Since 9/9/2006 CZW Iron Man Champion: LuFisto, Since 8/12/2006 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY CZW Ultraviolent Champion: Drake Younger, Since 10/15/2006 ![]() CZW CAGE OF DEATH VIII DECEMBER 11TH, 2006 PHILADELPHIA, PA A horrible hype video airs for Lobo vs. Nick Gage vs. Zandig inside CAGE OF FUCKING DEATH, where the loser must retire. Match #1: Team F.I.S.T./Player Uno/Niles Young vs. Chuck Taylor/Ricochet/Max Boyer/Beef Wellington The CHIKARA guys deliver, and then Niles Young and Beef Wellington hold it back from being actually great. Akuma and Ricochet are the most impressive, since Chuck is trying to be a babyface, Uno is still green, and Icarus is not exactly the guy who goes in and blows you away with stuff. Ricochet hits the 630 on Uno, but Boyer throws him out and puts on a Torture Rack to win. **1/2 Match #2: Team AnDrew vs. New Jersey All Stars Gulak is Soldier Ant, so you get a super rare Fire Ant vs. Soldier Ant match up here, and it is great, since Gulak has started to come into his own. Some botching, but it got evened out with lots of cool spots. Team Andrew wins with stereo Fujiwara Armbars **1/2 Claudio's music hits, but Maven Bentley comes out instead to be a dick, and he introduces DJ Hyde for the match. Match #3: DJ Hyde w/ Maven Bentley vs. Mana the Polynesian Warrior They do stuff. It still blows. Mana wins with a Samoan Drop. *1/2 Match #4: Cheech vs. Cloudy Good spotfest yet again, although too much dead space in the middle. Cloudy has a totally insane Tope Con Hilo into a Corkscrew Plancha dive. They had some awesome ladder spots too. Cloudy hits a yoshi Tonic off a ladder and through a table to finally beat Cheech. **3/4 Match #5: Sabian/Robbie Mireno [c] w/ Chrissy Rivera vs. Onxz/Rainman [CZW Tag Team Championship] HUGE waste of Sabian. He is the only actual good wrestler here, so this blew. The original Blackout wins with a botched Double Flapjack deal on Robbie. *1/2 Match #6: Hallowicked vs. Sexxxy Eddie Hallowicked does the best he can. They do stuff for a while and it's nothing special. Derek Frazier comes out and hits Eddie with a chair and Hallowicked covers to win. *3/4 Match #7: Human Tornado vs. Ruckus w/ BLK-OUT There is a dance off to open the match, and it is truly the most amazing thing on the show so far. Really fun spotfest here. Lots of flips and crisp counters and shit. Really everything you'd want from Ruckus vs. Human Tornado, and they kept it under 15 minutes. Ruckus gets a Chaos Theory Perfect Plex to win. *** Match #8: B-Boy/Adam Flash/The Messiah w/ Pandora vs. Danny Havoc/LuFisto/Altar Boy Luke BOOOO. Havoc and B-Boy didn't look awful, but the others did. Pandora's Box wins by beating Luke, and hopefully, he is gone forever. *1/2 Match #9: Drake Younger [c] vs. Necro Butcher [CZW Ultraviolent Championship] THIS is the shit that belongs on the biggest show of the year. Classic kind of Necro match. Drake is clearly not in Necro's league, but he doesn't totally embarrass himself, so that puts him in the upper echelon of CZW deathmatch guys. Good use of a barbed wire board and a ladder, and Drake wins with the Drake's Landing on the barbed wire board, which is so completely insane of a bump to take for Necro. *** Match #10: Eddie Kingston [c] vs. Chris Hero vs. Justice Pain [CZW Championship - Elimination Match] This could have been great, but a total freak accident happens within a minute or so. Justice back drops Kingston and he breaks his ankle on the landing. Justice then, being the fucking brain surgeon that he is, puts on a spinning toe hold on the broken ankle and King taps out. Hero does the best he can with Justice. Crowd is totally out of it now, unfortunately. And then, ya know, Justice Pain sucks in actual wrestling matches. Horribly, Pain wins the belt with the Pain Thriller. **1/4 Before the Cage of Death match, LuFisto comes out to put herself in it to get revenge on Nick Gage. Match #11: Nick Gage vs. Zandig vs. Lobo vs. LuFisto [CAGE OF DEATH~ - Loser Must Retire] This COD apparently took 90 minutes and from the CZW Follies list, "Reason being that the structure was made almost entirely out of wood, so the assembly crew could not practice setting it up before hand. Another contributing factor to the elongated set up was that each part of the cage had to be assembled one at a time, piece by piece, using only one nail gun, and one set of "cage of death assembly instructions". These instructions were neatly hand written on the back of an Oregon diner placemat." This goes on way too long, and they have no idea how to fill time between cool spots. Best part was when Lobo fell through the wood flooring outside the ring against the cage. Gage pins Zandig to win after the Chokebreaker. Hope that stipulation sticks! ** |

Oops, forgot results. Wrestler of the Year: Necro Butcher (40 Points) Tag Team of the Year: The Kings of Wrestling (16 Points) This marks the first time a tag team has ever won TTOTY in two different promotions in the same year, as they also won it in CHIKARA in 2006. |
