WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE Raw October 29th, 2012 Charlotte, NC CM Punk and Paul Heyman come out to open the show, and Punk's ribs are taped up. He says they all thought he was unbeatable and said it couldn't be done and thought...KNEW...that he was going to be another victim in a trail of bodies left behind by Ryback, and they were all wrong. For 344 days, he's proven them wrong, and since he stepped foot here, he's been proving them all wrong by beating all their heroes and surviving everything. He remembers when Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton tried to stop him, and he took Rey out of the sky and stopped the Viper with an Anaconda Vise. He says the resident Superman of the WWE was John Cena, but time and time again, he defeats him and shows him what Kryptonite is. Punk says he wants to talk about his victory last night, but people accuse him of convincing a referee to get physical on Ryback, but he did no such thing. He says he had nothing to do with it, and he would have kicked out of Shellshocked. He took the opportunity, that's all. Punk says Brad Maddox cost him a match too, he's just a bad referee, and it had nothing to do with him. Punk says Ryback is in his rear view mirror and he gets no rematch, and Mick Foley comes out. He says a day ago, he was splattered on top of Hell in the Cell, and a month ago, he told him to start being a legend instead of a statistic, and he blew it. Punk says he didn't blow it and Mick can't talk about traditions, because people used to spit on him, BECAUSE MICK'S LEGACY IS THE REASON HIS RIBS ARE TAPED UP RIGHT NOW. Punk says Foley's been popping up more and more since he won this title, and challenges Foley to a Survivor Series match, Team Punk vs. Team Foley! Foley accepts and Punk asks who his first is, and Ryback runs out to chase Punk off. Match #1: Ryback vs. JTG Squash city. Shellshocked ends it. *1/4 Post-match, Josh interviews The Rybork, and he says he's hungry, and CM Punk is for dinner. He then starts yelling "FEED ME PUNK". Match #2: Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett Orton now gets his win back from the Smackdown I didn't have. Wade does some stuff, and now that he's in a match that matters, he drops the cool striking came mostly and just does lame offense and people remember how god damned boring Wade is as a wrestler. Fucking Wade Barrett. They get 7 minutes and do stuff, and Orton hits the RKO for the win after avoiding an elbow. ** In the back, Vickie has AJ in her office. AJ says she's just friends with John Cena, and Vickie says not to raise her voice. He says the Board has asked her to consider hiring AJ back as a diva. She makes AJ apologize and AJ says she wants to compete again. Vickie asks for her biggest weakness, and AJ says she can become too emotionally attached to her job. Vickie asks if she's crazy and says when she comes back, she wants one good reason to give her a contract. Match #3: Team Hell No vs. The Prime Time Players This is alright for a four minute Friendship showcase. Bryan does his stuff, and is a great guy for Titus' power offense to work against. Titus' power game here looks better than it has in a long time, and when their control segment is kept short, they didn't waste any time with it here. Kane gets the hot tag, cleans house, but Bryan wants back in, and makes the gay tap to the No Lock. **1/4 They argue again post-match. featured an in-ring segment with Guerrero in which she called for Cena to come out so she could discuss the evidence against his relationship with AJ; after Cena appeared, Vickie showed footage from 3 weeks earlier in which Cena asked AJ out on a date, him hugging her the previous week, and then showed a photo of the two having dinner; after Cena explained those, she showed footage of AJ joining him in an elevator; as Vickie started putting words in Cena's mouth as he explained his actions, Dolph Ziggler interrupted and made his own allegations, with Cena shoving him to the mat and telling him to never mention his and AJ's name again The Miz comes out to do commentary. Match #4: Antonio Cesaro vs. Kofi Kingston Claudio shows flashes of how much he'll carry Kofi in 2013, even in a two minute match. Miz puts Claudio over on commentary suddenly and says he's right about everything, which he'll forget in three months anyways. Miz gets mad at Kofi getting offense, which is fair, and attacks him for the DQ. *1/2 Cesaro joins in, but R-Truth makes the save. NO. GOD DAMNIT, NOT AGAIN. RECAP OF PUNK/FOLEY AGAIN! FILLING THESE THREE HOURS. In the back, Vickie tells AJ to admit she has feelings for John Cena and she can have her job back. AJ refuses, because nothing happened, and says this isn't worth destroying herself or John's name for, and leaves. A fan yells "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" and makes this. Vickie says she's back, and says if she ever lays a hand on her, she'll never be allowed around the company again. She books AJ vs. Beth tonight. Behind The Music: 3MB airs, and it's the greatest. Match #5: Santino Marella/Zack Ryder vs. Heath Slater/Jinder Mahal w/ Drew McIntyre And again, Drew has to watch the other two ruin it. This again sort of just happens because nobody in this is anything above slightly above average, and Slater hits Santino with the Leg Lariat for the win. *1/4 JERRY LAWLER RETURNS IN TWO WEEKS! Goodbye, good commentary team! Match #6: AJ vs. Beth Phoenix This is Beth's last match, and it's a real shame because they work very well together. They have two minutes and do a nice big/little match, but AJ has a lot of fire and pulls out the win with an inside cradle! Vickie Guerrero comes out and says the crowd wants more AJ, and has the match restarted. Beth attacks her from behind, and hits the Glam Slam to win. Really really horrible use of Beth's last match, almost like they had no idea she was actually leaving. *1/2 RECAP OF PUNK/FOLEY A THIRD TIME! Sheamus comes out and gets on the mic, and this fucking guy is all smiles after losing the World Heavyweight Title. He says he's happy to have finally had a fight last night, even if he did lose the World Title, because The Big Show was the better man last night. He says he's looking forward to their next fight, but says it won't be a fight, but it's going to be an all-out war. Fuck you. The Big Show comes out and brags about being the new Champion. He says he told Sheamus that he needed to take this seriously and that he wasn't ready, and the proof is there. He says Sheamus won't beat him again, because now he knows he can knock him out, and he's a stupid little ginger snap. Sheamus blindsides Big Show with the White Noise, because he's a horrible person. In the back, John Cena cheers AJ up and says to keep her chin up. He walks off, and Vickie is watching behind them. AJ leaves, and Beth thanks Vickie for restarting the match. Vickie blames her for losing the first time, and fires her. Terrible way to get rid of her. Match #7: Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Rey Mysterio/Sin Cara This is actually pretty great, and an improvement on their last match. Rey vs. Cody is a good pairing as always when they get time, and Cody has some good pieces of offense that he could have used back when they were actually pushing him. Rey and Cara have cool dives, and Rey seems like he's trying here. Sin Cara is alright as the FIP, mostly because it means Rey makes the hot tag. That's better because even without working knees, Rey has a million times more fire than Sin Cara. Unfortunately, they cut off Rey and isolate him too for an even better control seg, since Rey is actually sympathetic. Sin Cara has a hot tag where he does stuff well, and more dives happen. Cody pulls Sandow out of the way of a Senton Bomb, and Sandow hits the Straightjacket Neckbreaker to win. *** In the back, Foley and Kaitlyn plug the video game by having Mankind beat up CM Punk. Paul Heyman comes up and asks why he deems it appropriate to plug the game instead of finding his team by the end of the night. Foley says he doesn't have to seek people out, he's got people lining up to kick CM Punk's butt. Paul says Foley now has a target on his back, and he's going to see himself personally victimized by CM Punk to remind him that he's the best in the world. BREAST CANCER SUCKS. included a segment on the entrance stage in which Vince McMahon, with the roster behind him, introduced Cena in the ring with representatives from Komen, who discussed WWE's partnership with Komen and thanked the fans for the support; Cena then presented a check to Komen for $1 millio Match #8: Alberto Del Rio vs. Justin Gabriel Your typical ADR squash after losing a big match so they can try and get people to care about him again, but by now, everyone knows how this cycle works and nobody gives a shit. Gabriel isn't worth anything anyways, so this sort of happens for a while. Shitty Cross Armbreaker ends it. *1/2 Paul Heyman comes out to end the show and introduces CM Punk, while plugging his WWE 13 cover. The cover drops from the ceiling and Paul says it's a larger than life picture for a larger than life personality, and calls him the greatest WWE Champion of all time. Heyman says putting together this team reminded him that his goal right now is to serve at the behest of the best in the world and is the WWE Champion. He introduces The Miz as his first pick for the team, and Punk doesn't look impressed at all. Paul then introduces Team Rhodes Scholars next, and Punk is more impressed. ADR is last. Not a great job here, Paul. Punk says Survivor Series is a celebration of one year of him being WWE Champion, and in more nice continuity, ADR is the only one behind him not to clap. Mick Foley hobbles out to ringside and says Punk weaseled his way out of Hell in a Cell and while he has no problem calling him the WWE Champion, he does have a problem referring to him as a man. A man doesn't disrespect Hell in a Cell by enlisting a crooked referee, and Punk asks which ear is his good ear, because he had nothing to do with that. Punk asks where his team is, and Foley says he has respect for all these men, and brings out Kofi first to total silence. GOD DAMNIT MICK. He then brings out Team Hell No to combat the Rhodes Scholars. Foley says the next guy still doesn't like him, but he likes the rest of them less, and brings out Randy Orton. Rybork is last and the faces clear the ring. |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE NXT October 31st, 2012 Orlando, FL Match #1: The Usos vs. Michael McGillicutty/Johnny Curtis Really good Usos showcase for 4 minute. They do their thing and hit hard and have a ton of fire, and Curtis and Hennig help them really well with a lot of basic heel offense. Curtis starts dancing all the time for no reason and they say he's been dancing more and more with women lately. DIS CONTINUITY. Curtis and Joe have a few nice double teams before the hot tag happens and Joe loses to the Flying Splash. ** The Ascension watches from the upper deck. Match #2: Leo Kruger vs. Xavier Woods HEY ANDY, IT'S CONSEQUENCES CREED! He's basically there to lose to Leo though, who continues to get better and better at the gimmick and working it into interesting offense and mannerisms, putting on a legitimately great squash here. Leo wins with the Spanky Finisher. ** AWESOME BIG E. LANGSTON VIDEO. FIVE. On the stage, Byron interviews Big E. Langston and asks him about the five count. A large "FIVE" chant breaks out, and Langston says he loves the number five. It's a beautiful number, a glorious number, and in fact, he has FIVE fingers on each hand. He has FIVE toes on each foot. You have a high FIVE. You've got a low FIVE. He says he loves something, but Vickie Guerrero comes out. She says she's the Vickie Guerrero, WWE Superstar, manager, and cougar, and she offers him a contract with her. He says he has what she needs and claps a lot to send the powder into her face, and she freaks out. That was fantastic. Jinder Mahal and Justin Gabriel both want to be #1 Contender, but I skipped it because Jinder talks a lot. Drew McIntyre comes out with the mic and says he deserves the shot, but then Bo Dallas also wants one. SHUT THE FUCK UP. He says they were all in the tournament and had a shot, AND HOLY SHIT, BO ACTUALLY FORGOT HE WAS IN THE TOURNAMENT TOO. Bo says he wants a shot too. Dusty Rhodes comes out and books a four way match next week for the #1 Contendership. Match #3: Roman Reigns vs. CJ Parker Debut squash! Roman looks super inexperienced here and tries to work the arm and be a power babyface, and it is not working. Reigns wins with the fucking Mark of Excellence that Mark Jindrak used to use. Reigns didn't look like ANYTHING at this point, so it's amazing how far he came in a year. 3/4* Match #4: Antonio Cesaro [c] vs. Tyson Kidd [WWE U.S. Championship] They get 7 minutes, and it's these two, so it's really good. The matwork was super super cool and original, but they had trouble getting out of the opening blocks. They did cool Claudio power spots and a solid Kidd comeback, but then Claudio cut it off before they got any kind of big nearfalls or spots out of it. He hit the Pop-Up European as a cut off and then the Neutralizer for the win. **3/4 |

Randy Orton/Rey Mysterio/Sin Cara vs. Alberto Del Rio/The Prime Time Players, Main Event (October 31st) This got like 15-20 minutes, which is insane for these six in 2013. Nobody in this is suited to go that long, even in a six man, and Rey's the only one you'd trust with that, but he's so banged up now. Randy and ADR aren't trying at all, Rey is barely in, and Cara and PTP are not that great. They do a lot of awkward things like SC using a thigh kick as his big comeback spot, covering for 2, and THEN making the tag to Rey. The PTP again have trouble filling time, as does this match. Finishing run is of quality, but the rest was so pedestrian and useless. Orton finally beats ADR with the RKO. ** The Usos vs. The Colons w/ Rosa Mendes, Superstars (November 1st) FUCK YEAH THIS MATCH. Another great 5-6 minute Usos showcase. All their kicks and punches are really awesoem and they have a ton of fire. Colons are the perfect team to have this match against, as they'll bump around super well, but never be too flashy and overshadow the Usos. Hot tag rules, and an Uso beats Primo with the Flying Splash. **1/4 |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE Smackdown November 2nd, 2012 Fayetteville, NC ; featured an opening segment of Miz TV in which Mike Mizanin briefly discussed the situation between John Cena and AJ before then introducing Sheamus as the now former World Heavyweight Champion; after Sheamus came out, Miz praised his match against the Big Show and assumed Sheamus now felt like a loser; when Sheamus noted Miz lost to WWE IC Champion Kofi Kingston at Hell in a Cell, Miz said he's beaten Kingston before but Sheamus had never beaten Show and never would; when Miz claimed he played a part in Show's recent path of destruction, Sheamus questioned whether he should be the one Sheamus kicks in the face; after Miz said he would take the title back from Kingston, Kingston interrupted and made fun of his three consecutive wins over Miz; Miz replied by saying he would lead his team to victory at Survivor Series and would personally eliminate Kingston; Show then walked out and questioned Miz why he was interviewing Sheamus instead of the new champion; Sheamus then challenged Show to a fight then and there, with Show saying Sheamus didn't really want that and he would get all of him he could handle at Survivor Series; moments later, Miz tried to attack Kingston, with Kingston dumping him to the floor In the back, Booker T continues tradition and books a TAG TEAM MATCH PLAYA. Match #1: Darren Young vs. Sin Cara Both tag partners are at ringside. They do some solid work for three minutes, but it's still only three minutes, so whatever. D-Young picks up the win with the Death by Roderick, which he really needs to name already. *3/4 After the match, Titus brags about the win and challenges Rey to a match, and he accepts. Match #2: Rey Mysterio vs. Titus O'Neil This was better, since Rey's better, but still WAY too short to be anything of any kind of consequence. Rey gets a schoolboy off of a missed charge after three minutes to win. *3/4 BRAD MADDOX RECAP. They re-air the end of Raw. In the back, Booker T and Teddy talk. David Otunga comes in and says since Eve is in Europe, he'll fill in for anything he needs, so Booker books him against the Great Khali. He spills coffee on Nattie on his way out and says it's an improvement. ADR comes out to do commentary. ADR keeps saying he's the greatest of all time and the new Apex Predator, which is a weird claim for a guy who's a generic heel who never wins anything. ADR sneak attacks Randy Orton before the match and beats him down before referees make him leave. Match #3: Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett This is a match again. It's the best version of this yet, since Wade has a lot of really good strike attacks to the head, as he continues to be a low rent Chris Hero in the ring. Then because Wade is kind of a shitty pro wrestler as far as mental stuff goes, he starts working the body with generic pro wrestling and Orton doesn't sell anything because Wade couldn't make a decision and they only have 10 minutes. ADR comes out for another distraction and Wade gets the upset with a schoolboy! **1/4 BOO TITTY CANCER In the back, ADR and Orton fight a lot in catering. ADR escapes and Orton throws Matt Striker into food when he tries a poorly timed interview. Match #4: The Great Khali vs. David Otunga You know this is a squash and then it's shitty. 1/4* In the back, Natalya thanks Khali for beating up Otunga. She says he has big hands and walks away. Match #5: R-Truth vs. Justin Gabriel This clearly exists just to kill time, since it's a three minute face/face match where nobody gets a TV entrance. Neither one of them is especially good at anything in this match, and Truth ends it with the Black Finisher. *1/2 They shake hands post-match. RAW REBOUND - CENA/AJ/VICKIE/ZIGGLER ANGLE Match #6: Sheamus/Kofi Kingston vs. The Big Show/The Miz Best part of this is that it's only six minutes. Otherwise, holy shit, this happens. Not nearly enough of Show just mauling Kofi. Not enough of Show vs. Sheamus either, it's basically Sheamus/Miz and Miz/Kofi. Not sure why fucking Miz got designated to carry the load, but it blows. The one bright spot is Show randomly asking if they want to see wrestling, followed by him hitting a waistlock takeover and then a headlock takeover on Kofi before tagging back out. Show KO Punches Kofi, and Miz covers to win. *3/4 Sheamus is a bully and hits Miz with the Brogue Kick post-match. |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE Raw November 5th, 2012 Birmingham, England featured an opening backstage segment taped earlier in the day of Mike Mizanin confronting Paul Heyman about WWE World Champion CM Punk "retreating" at the end of the previous week's show, with Miz saying Heyman and Punk were "full of crap" and then quit the team Match #1: Rey Mysterio/Sin Cara/R-Truth vs. Antonio Cesaro/The Prime Time Players This was about six minutes and half of that was Sin Cara being horrible. Sin Cara looked the worst he has all year here, being unable to climb the ropes, fucking up timing on tags, dropping Rey on double teams, etc. Claudio proves why he's the best, as he sees this and gets in to immediately pick this up with amazing power stuff vs. Rey. Good control seg, and Truth gets in at the end. Cesaro eats the 619 before losing to Black Finisher to set up a title match. *3/4 Recap of Cena/AJ/Vickie stuff from last week. UGH. featured an in-ring segment in which Vickie Guerrero replayed the clips she showed the previous week of John Cena and AJ together; moments later, Cena interrupted and reminded Vickie of her histories with Edge and Dolph Ziggler and how she used her power to get them the World Heavyweight Championship; Vickie then showed surveillance footage of AJ in a hotel hallway wearing a robe and going from one room to another, then another clip of Cena leaving the room wearing only a towel; after Cena laughed at how Vickie took footage from two different cameras, with Vickie then demanding AJ to come out and explain her actions; moments later, AJ appeared on the big screen and said she wasn't going to come out because she would attack Vickie, get fired, and no longer be able to do what she loves to do; Ziggler then appeared behind her and made fun of her, with Cena running backstage as Vickie laughed on the mi In the back, Paul Heyman talks to someone off screen. He says The Miz is contemptible and conniving and cowardly, and says Team Punk needs someone like him. It's Wade Barrett for a big English pop, and Wade says he tried this last week too and he's refusing him again because he doesn't trust him. MWAY then stops and says he'll join the team if Paul owes him one, and Paul agrees. Wade says he wants it in writing, so thank god they followed up on this! Match #2: Daniel Bryan vs. Cody Rhodes Both partners are there, but this is only two minutes. They throw a lot at each other, and it's good stuff for what it is. Bryan takes out Sandow with the TOPE SUICIDA~, but Cody hits the Beautiful Disaster off the apron. He rolls D-Bry back in, and wins with the Cross Rhodes after that. *3/4 Post-match, Cody gets on the mic on the floor. He says that was an impressive victory from one-half of the future champions, Team Rhodes Scholars, and his partner could beat Kane just as easily. Kane grabs him by the hair and throws him in the ring, and the match is made. Match #3: Kane vs. Damien Sandow Cody and Bryan get ejected for fighting early on, and this is then 4 minutes of a Kane squash basically. Sandow gets in a few knee kicks, but mostly just eats all of Kane's stuff in a row before he loses to the Chokeslam. Okay then. 3/4* Michael Cole brings out Brad Maddox for an interview and Brad says stuff. He says he wasn't prompted by CM Punk to interfere or Paul Heyman, but he did it by himself. He tells his story about wanting to be a WWE Superstar and says he once paid $2,000 for a try out and had a developmental contract, but then he got fired for not having what it took, whatever that means. He says he took a job as a referee as his one last shot to make everyone know his name, and now they do. He says he wants a contract, and a match with Ryback. Vince McMahon comes out and says he doesn't believe him at all but says he'll give him a $1 million dollar contract if he can beat Ryback next week! He makes Brad leave, and then brings Vickie out to the ring. He sort of pushes her into making Survivor Series' main event into Punk vs. Ryback vs. John Cena for the WWE Title, so that's a thing now too. Sheamus comes out for his match and hugs Vince on the way out, lending further credence to the massive conspiracy theory laid out after SummerSlam 2013 where dudes like Sheamus are the chosen corporate champions. the Big Show comes out to do commentary. Match #4: Sheamus vs. The Miz THIS gets 11 minutes somehow. Bryan/Cody got 2, and this gets 11. What the fucking fuck is going on with the decision making process here? It's a decent basic match and they don't do anything terrible, but they don't really do anything worthy of praise. Miz ends up getting a ton of counters and nearfalls before he loses to the White Noise and Brogue Kick. ** In the back, Vickie comes out of Vince's office, and tells Dolph that she's now the team captain and replacing Punk. CM Punk comes up and says he's glad they're both happy, but the only reason he's captain is because this cranky old bastard is trying to screw him. Vickie says Vince also suggested a match, and she booked it, so it's Cena and Ryback vs. CM Punk and Ziggler! They're both upset. I fucking LOVE the Punk/Ziggler stuff they've done in the last few months, and it seems like it's leading to Ziggler eventually being the guy to lift the belt off him. Match #5: Layla/Kaitlyn vs. Eve/Aksana When Eve is in, this is a quality match, since I really like both the Eve/Kaitlyn and Eve/Layla pairings now that Eve's suddenly gotten REALLY good. Too much Aksana in the middle unfortunately, and Kaitlyn beats Eve with a Reverse DDT. *3/4 Match #6: Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston Just like always, this kinda blows. Smackdown is apparently live tomorrow night and it's Orton/ADR in a Falls Count Anywhere match. ADR does lots of mat stuff that Kofi doesn't sell, and Kofi responds by doing lots of horrible "athletic" stuff that looks sloppy as hell and he fucks up half of. Randy Orton's music hits, and ADR is distracted so he loses to a schoolboy. Horrible. *1/4 Randy comes from the crowd and drops ADR with the RKO. Match #7: Santino Marella/Zack Ryder vs. The Colons w/ Rosa Mendes YEAH COLONS! They get 5 good minutes out of the goofs and bump around real well before losing to the Cobra as expected. ** Match #8: Wade Barrett vs. Brodus Clay w/ The Funkadactyls Good Wade showcase, and he's super super over. He gets the big power spot when he hits the Black Hole Slam, and then puts Brodus away with The Souvenir. *1/2 JERRY LAWLER RETURNS NEXT WEEK! Match #9: Heath Slater vs. Jey Uso Jinder and Jimmy are ringside. This gets three minutes, and I liked it. Not sure what's up with this episode, but it's got a lot of these good little showcase matches. Heath debuts an Implant DDT named the Smash Hit for the win. *1/2 Before the main event, CM Punk gets on the mic. He says he'd like to recap, and two weeks ago, he beat Ryback, who was unbeatable AND undefeated at that point. Since then, people have tried to taint his victory and point fingers and throw accusations at him and his friend Paul, by saying they were responsible for a rogue referee. Brad Maddox admitted he acted alone and now Team Punk is demoted to Team Ziggler and at Survivor Series, Vince McMahon continues his greatest Survivor Series tradition when he tries to screw his most talented performer. At Survivor Series, he's being screwed because everyone wants to see Ryback or John Cena take from him what's belonged to him for 351 days. And for 351 days, he's proven that he's better than everyone in the crowd, in the back, than anyone worldwide that wants to step in his ring. He hasn't just survived, he's excelled, and he's set the bar at an unattainable level. At Survivor Series, he WILL celebrate 364 days as your WWE Champion, and The Reign will continue. BEST IN THE WORLD. Match #10: John Cena/Ryback vs. CM Punk/Dolph Ziggler w/ Paul Heyman This starts off with Cena doing matwork against both opponents, and that's pretty awesome as usual. This is 10 minutes, and 9 of it is Cena in the ring, which is for the best. Punk and Ziggler have an awesome long control segment and unlike past tags with them, Ziggler gets an equal amount of offense in on Cena as Punk does, since this is that 2-3 week run where they started to actually push Dolph. Cena gets the hot tag out and Ryback has an awesome run of offense. He gets rid of Dolph and hits Punk with the Shellshock for the win. *** |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE Smackdown November 6th, 2012 Birmingham, England TONIGHT: ORTON VS. ADR FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE Michael Cole brings out Sheamus to open the show and mentions some pub brawl involving himself, William Regal, and the Big Show last night. He shows footage of it, and Show KO Punches Regal out of nowhere and then the big guys fight. Sheamus makes Cole leave and says he can't respect The Big Show for doing that to William Regal, who played a big part in his career and has been his mentor. What the fuck? Where did this come from? This is pretty clearly just a huge ploy to try and get the crowd to like him. He calls out Big Show, but Show comes on the tron. He says he held back last night to make sure Sheamus makes it to Survivor Series, so he's giving him someone who wants to kick his ass tomorrow night on Main Event. Wade Barrett comes out and says Sheamus is an idiot for wanting to face The Big Show again right now before Survivor Series. Sheamus challenges him right now, but Wade says he'll see him tomorrow night. In the back, Booker T finds Wade and makes DAT TAG TEAM MATCH PLAYA with Sheamus/Regal vs. Show/Wade. Match #1: Kofi Kingston [c] vs. The Miz [WWE Intercontinental Championship] NO, GOD DAMNIT. This sucks again. Lots of super sloppy sequences and lots of spots where they clearly get caught waiting for moves and all of pro wrestling gets blown wide open by how fucking horrible they both are. Miz spends the match working over Kofi's knee, and he doesn't really sell it at all. Kofi hits a Frog Crossbody to win, and THEN sells his knee. God damnit, I hate everything. *1/2 Miz actually offers a handshake post-match, but Kofi dropkicks him away. Way to sell that knee, asshole. Match #2: Rey Mysterio/Sin Cara vs. The Prime Time Players Somehow, this only gets 3 minutes. Sin Cara is much better here then on Raw, and the lack of time means PTP don't waste a lot of time in the control segment like usual. Rey has a sweet hot tag as always and Titus beats Rey clean with the Clash of the Titus in kind of a shocker. ** Post-match, Striker tries to interview them, and Titus says they're going after the titles now, and do their dance. CENA/AJ/VICKIE RAW RECAP. Match #3: Sheamus/William Regal vs. The Big Show/Wade Barrett As usual when he's given 10 minutes, Regal looks like one of the best in the world still. There's way too much Sheamus/Wade in here given that they already have 20 minutes on Main Event tomorrow more than likely, and they don't do a ton of note here. Regal sells like crazy to get Wade over. Regal isn't usually a FIP, but he kills at it here. He has an amazing Running Elbow to get the tag and Sheamus vs. Show is good again. Regal gets in and hits the Knee Trembler, but Show absorbs it and hits the KO Punch to win. ![]() **3/4 RAW REBOUND - BRADDOX EDITION! FIRST FANDANGO PROMO! YES! Match #4: Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio [Falls Count Anywhere Match] This is your typical Randy Orton feud ending super safe "brawl" gimmick match on TV that we've seen against Cody, Wade, and Kane in the last year. Better than the Kane one, not as good as the Wade one, and the Cody one was clearly the best. They throw shitty punches, do lame crowd brawling that's just more punching and throwing each other into stuff, and go to the awful backstage fight part. Orton hits an RKO on some steps to finally end this. What a waste of this gimmick. *3/4 |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE NXT November 7th, 2012 Orlando, FL Match #1: Kassius Ohno vs. Trent Baretta FUCK YEAH REMATCH. They get 7 minutes, and it's again really really good but not quite great. Good matwork, and Hero's control stuff is all really good. Trent does his thing, but something just seems off with these two tonight, and I can't put my finger on it. It could be better probably, but they don't mess anything up or do anything bad. Hero hits the Rolling Elbow for the win. **1/2 Ohno pulls Trent up again, but he fights back and drives Ohno from the ring! Corey Graves is coming, and is already horrible. DERP STAY DOWN. Match #2: Big E. Langston vs. Memo Montenegro Another fantastic Big E squash. This is over in about a minute with the Big Ending for the FIVE count. * Vickie Guerrero comes on the NXTron and says Big E will not be laughing for long, and she's offering FIVE thousand dollars to anyone who will put him on the shelf. A jobber tries to jump him, but Big E runs him down. He hits the Big Ending and counts his own FIVE count. Big E Langston is the most over man on this show now. Jason Jordan has a mystery opponent, AND BRAY WYATT RETURNS! He spins around with his arms out and yells that he's alive. "LOOK AT ME DADDY, I GOT MY WINGS BACK!" Jason challenges him to fight instead of talking. Bray says he never wanted to hurt him, because he's a monster and Jason is no match for him. But he's a monster, and he is never alone. LUKE HARPER AKA BRODIE LEE COMES OUT! Match #3: Luke Harper w/ Bray Wyatt vs. Jason Jordan Good little Brodie beating for a minute or so. Brodie wins with the Black Hole Slam. *1/4 Post-match, Bray officially announces him as the first son of the Wyatt Family, Luke Harper. Match #4: Drew McIntyre vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Bo Dallas [#1 Contender's Elimination Match] Drew does the absolute best he can to carry someone who's just average and two of the worst wrestlers employed in the WWE. Drew bumps around super well, and when he's involved, the spots all make sense and look great. Drew vs. Gabriel is the best pairing obviously. Jinder proves himself to at least be better than Bo Dallas as a few of his offensive pieces actually look good. It comes down to Jinder/Bo after Bo eliminates both of the non-shitty wrestlers, and then it falls apart because that gets like half the match. At least Jinder wins, but holy shit the last half was brutal. *3/4 |

YOUR B-SHOW ROUND UP Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett, Main Event (November 7th) This is their longest match by far, as they get about 20 minutes in the Main Event tradition. The setting helps the crowd be hot for Wade for once too. It's still not great because they blatantly kill time in the first half, because again, neither of them is very good at filling time in a meaningful way. About halfway through, they start to pick up the pace and Wade does some special offense, including an elbow drop off the railing. They have some cool spots and nearfalls before Sheamus hits the White Noise and then Brogue Kick to win. **3/4 Jimmy Uso vs. Jinder Mahal, Superstars (November 8th) Both tag partners are there. Jimmy tries his best, but this is only good once he can come back, because Jinder's control segment is the absolute shittiest thing. Superkick and the Flying Splash gets the win for Jimmy Usos, thankfully. *1/2 The Usos vs. The Prime Time Players, Saturday Morning Slam (November 10th) This is totally different than their other 29 matches, since there's a lot more comedy based on D-Young's fade continually getting ruffled and him getting really mad about it. The Usos then do the PTP dance and dog bark, and Titus gets mad, but also stooges a ton. The PTP start crying and do a mini-MILLIONS OF DOLLARS~ dance while crying. This is my favorite match. PTP does finally take over, and there's less wasted time than before. The hot tag means this is over in like 30 seconds, but at least the Usos pull off another win with the Samoan Drop and Flying Splash. **1/4 |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE Raw November 12th, 2012 Columbus, OH JOHN CENA LOVES THE TROOPS. HAPPY VETERANS DAY. TONIGHT: LAWLER'S BACK! RYBACK VS. BRAD MADDOX! PUNK VS. CENA IN A NON-TITLE MATCH! Match #1: Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler This is only three minutes, so whatever. They work well against each other, but it's still only three minutes and they can't do a whole lot against each other. ADR and Ricardo come out to try and distract Orton, but he avoids the Fameasser and gets a schoolboy for the win. ** Both Ziggler and Del Rio beat down on Orton, but Kofi runs out to save. Teddy Long comes out and books a TAG TEAM MATCH PLAYA. Match #2: Randy Orton/Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler/Alberto Del Rio This isn't great. It's butchered down to about three to four minutes by a commercial break, so you wonder why not just have this to begin with and a nice 10 minute tag all together. But the butchering mostly just cut off Kofi's offense early on, so it was for the best, I suppose. Dolph does some stuff, and Orton has a good hot tag. Kofi gets back in, but ADR hits his horrible fifth-rate Quicksilver Kick for the win. *3/4 After the break, Dolph Ziggler is in the ring with Vickie. He says a scandal is defined as an action that is deemed ethically or morally wrong and leads to a public outrage. He just wrestled two matches and knew that off the top of his head. Pretty sick, right? He says he's not here to hide behind his FORMER manager, but he's out here for the truth. They show the pictures and video again and now play horrible edited together voicemails from AJ where she says that last night was a mistake. AJ comes out and asks why she's doing this. Vickie keeps yelling at her to admit it, so AJ says she admits it, and says the truth is they're just friends. That's not an admission. She says nothing has happened and Vickie is jealous of everything she's done in the last few months, and she never left that message. Ziggler asks which was more disappointing, the fact that John won't talk to her anymore, or all those nights in his hotel room. John Cena runs out, but AJ slaps Dolph first. Cena then cheap shots him and drives him out. Match #3: The Big Show vs. William Regal This was pretty great, but only 90 seconds. Show hit super hard, and Regal had a ton of fire and sold like the king he is. Show wins with the Chokeslam. ** Sheamus runs out to save, and he drives Big Show off. Eve comes out to do commentary. Match #4: Kaitlyn vs. Layla [#1 Contender's Match] This was under a minute, so they couldn't do a ton. Kaitlyn wins with a Reverse DDT. 3/4* HEART ATTACK RECAP! JR and Michael Cole are in the ring, and they bring back Jerry Lawler. He hugs both of them and gets on the mic. He says he has no idea what to say, and he's so overwhelmed. He says there's a movie called It's A Wonderful Life, and it's about a guy who didn't know how much his life meant to everyone he knew and all his family and friends, and it took a near death experience to realize that. He says he's lived that movie in the last few weeks and had no idea how many fans and friends he had that reached out and sent him their prayers. He says he loves everyone, and CM Punk comes out. Lawler goes back out to the floor, and Punk gets on the mic. He says he's glad Jerry left the ring when he did, because he would have beat him to death. He says everyone boos him for being disrespectful, but never Jerry Lawler because he's a real life zombie and beat death and all that, but the fact is that Jerry's behavior is disrespectful. What he does is in bad taste, because to him, a 62 year old man putting on his gear and thinking he can go toe to toe with the WWE Champion is in bad taste. He asked what he thought was going to happen, and says shame on the people for pointing the finger at HIM when Jerry Lawler did this to himself. He's been WWE Champion for 358 days and he just died Diesel as the 9th longest reigning champion in company history. You can dismiss that, but 365 cannot be dismissed. Because he's going to beat Ryback and John Cena again, and honestly, he's glad King's back so he can call the match when he does it again, so long as he doesn't croak before Survivor Series. Lawler says the only thing on life support is his run as WWE Champion. Punk dares him to get in, AND PAUL STARTS FAKING A HEART ATTACK. AMAZING. Punk does over the top CPR and Paul sits up smiling. Punk says he almost gave him a heart attack, and Mick Foley comes out. He says Punk's views on respect are pretty funny, but Punk says to respect Paul Heyman, because he just had a heart attack. Punk says Mick is wasting their time again because they no longer have Survivor Series teams, because Vince is trying to screw his team. Punk says he should worry more about the hole on his team, but Foley says the WWE Universe will pick the final member of his team. Ugh. Punk says his team is worthless, just like Foley and these people. Foley yells to shut up and says he'd like to tell him a secret about Jerry Lawler, and that's that two months ago, HE WAS DEAD. And through miracles and medical attention and yeah, the thoughts and prayers of the WWE Universe, he's here now. And yeah, Punk doesn't care, but that's because he's lost sight of the fact that the world isn't about him. THIS ISN'T ABOUT HIM FOR ONCE. He says he's mad at Vince for getting him out of his Survivor Series team match, because he wanted to teach him a lesson about respect, but he knows now that nothing short of losing the WWE Championship is going to clear Punk's head. Punk again says that none of this involves him at all, and Mick says it does. As a parting gift, he's been informed that he's the special enforcer for his match with John Cena tonight! Match #5: Rey Mysterio/Sin Cara/Tyson Kidd/Justin Gabriel vs. The Prime Time Players/The Colons w/ Rosa Mendes This got 8 minutes, so it ruled. Total fireworks show with some of the best spotty guys in the company in The Colons and Tyson, and the other guys all did their thing. Rey contributed a lot for a guy with no knees, hitting a few great dives and taking some nasty bumps. Kidd's hot tag ruled, and the total lunacy at the end was amazing. Everyone hit some kind of crazy dive or spot, and Kidd countered the Death by Roderick into a Rana into the ropes. Rey hit the 619 and then Gabriel hit the 450 Splash for the win. *** In the back, Heyman finds Maddox and says to take a walk with him. FANDANGO. In the back, Dolph Ziggler finds The Miz and says they both know he's going to come crawling and begging to be on Team Ziggler now that there's a real leader there. Miz said he saw him lose to Randy and get slapped by a girl. Ziggler says he's not Team Ziggler material, and Miz asked if that's because he won the big one. Ziggler says nobody remembers that. Foley comes over and challenges him to a tag match. They agree on Rhodes Scholars vs. Kane and whoever wins the vote. Dolph leaves and Foley says that Amy Schumer says hello. Miz says to put him on the ballot tonight and Foley says he'll do it. This is all your fault, Mick. The ballot is between Miz, Santino, and Ryder. Holy shit that's not an obvious one or anything. Antonio Cesaro comes out to do commentary, and Cesaro/Truth is booked for SurSer. ![]() Match #6: R-Truth vs. Tensai Tensai tries, but this is three minutes set to showcase Truth. He wins with the Black Finisher. *1/4 Before Maddox vs. Ryback, an awesome thing happens when an ambulance backs in and a stretcher is brought to ringside after Brad gets in the ring. Match #7: Ryback vs. Brad Maddox [One Million Dollar Contract On The Line] AWESOME Rybork squash. Maddox just absolutely dies for a long time, and Ryback ends it with Shellshocked. *3/4 Brad Maddox is put on the stretcher, but Rybork tips it over. He puts Maddox on his shoulder and puts him in the ambulance by himself. Match #8: Sheamus vs. David Otunga This happens again, and it's the same as always. Sheamus wins with the Brogue Kick. *1/4 In the back, Big Show knocks out William Regal now. In the back, Daniel Bryan finds Kane and wishes him luck with his NEW partner. Kane says he doesn't have a new partner, THEY have a new teammate. Bryan says he would have turned Foley down, and Kane says he's kidding. Bryan says to go have fun and team with somebody else, and he wishes them both the best in luck. But they could go to Foley together and say they only team with each other! Kane has already left though. Shocker, Miz wins the vote. Match #9: Team Rhodes Scholars vs. Kane/The Miz w/ Daniel Bryan This is five minutes and generally just exists. Miz works face now and it's not the worst thing ever, but we know where this goes from now, and it becomes just about the worst thing. Bryan tries to interfere against The Miz on the floor, but Miz throws him into Cody on the floor. He rolls Cody in, and Kane wins with the Chokeslam. *3/4 Match #10: CM Punk w/ Paul Heyman vs. John Cena [Special Enforcer: Mick Foley] It's not their best, but it's still these two for 10 minutes. They do good mat stuff, and then a lot of their usual counters. What makes this probably the best in-ring series of the last 5-10 years is how they continually have new counters after wrestling regularly for something like 2 years, and rarely retread on their past counters. Foley takes out Heyman and Ryback comes out when Punk tries to leave. He throws him back in, and Cena hits the FU for the win. *** Ryback and Cena have a staredown, and have a tug of war over the belt as Punk watches. |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE NXT November 14th, 2012 Orlando, FL In the back, Generic Interview Man interviews Jinder about having a title shot soon. He says he beat a nobody to win it, and Bo Dallas comes on. He asks for a little respect, but then says since he's a nobody, Jinder wouldn't mind a rematch tonight. He accepts, and Bo then baits him into putting his title shot on the line. God damnit. Match #1: The Ascension vs. Yoshi Tatsu/Percy Watson Holy shit, Yoshi's alive! This totally happens though, and it's HORRIBLE because it's all Ascension. They win with a move. 1/2* Match #2: Corey Graves vs. Oliver Gray Graves is the former Sterling James Keenan, and is still pretty terrible. Gray looks pretty great though and carries SJK on the mat. Graves does some shitty knee work, but Oliver does his best to sell it and make it look not like total dog shit. This goes on FOREVER before Graves wins with the Calf Killer. *1/4 BIG E. LANGSTON HYPE VIDEO. On the stage, Tony Dawson brings out Big E. Langston. He asks if he's worried about the bounty, and Big E says he's worried. He's worried for anyone who's dumb enough to try and claim the bounty. He's Big E, and the E stands for End. An end to anyone across the ring from him. And if you don't believe him, he'll give you a reason. No. He'll give you FIVE reasons. FIVE. FIVE. FIVE. FIVE. FIVE. Camacho runs out and hits him from behind and runs away, and Big E is mad. Match #3: Layla vs. Aksana This happened and wasn't awful. Layla wins with the Neckbreaker. *3/4 A pretape airs with Bray Wyatt talking in a field with Luke Harper watching. He says ever since the beginning, there's been those people. Simple, every day, normal people, denouncing his name. They call him a liar and say that his words mean nothing, but they should play a game. A fun little game. Let's pretend everything he says is true and he's told you no lie, that he's every bit of a monster that they think he is. Then how do you stop him? How do you stop something that wins wars without lifting a finger? How do you stop something that's been worshipped by every culture since the dawn of ages? How do you stop something that can never be destroyed? And if you're looking for that angle, then please, come find him. He's out here with all of his friends. And if you're looking for the whereabouts, look into the sky, AND FOLLOW THE BUZZARDS. Match #4: Roman Reigns vs. Chase Donovan Reigns cuts out the weird armwork of his debut squash, and he does more power stuff. He's still really generic about it though and doesn't look like a ton at this point besides another generic power guy. He wins with the Mark of Excellence again. 3/4* Match #5: Jinder Mahal vs. Bo Dallas [#1 Contender's Match] This is a little better than their match in the NXT Title Tournament, but that might have been the worst match of the year between two "trained" pro wrestlers. They tried a lot of matwork here, which was embarrassing to watch them attempt. Thankfully, Jinder manages to pull it off with the Camel Clutch. That's how horrible Bo is, I actually am happy Jinder Mahal won a match. 1/4* Seth Rollins comes out to save Bo from a worse beating because he's horrible too. |

B SHOW ROUND UP! YEAH! After an interview in the back, Team Rhodes Scholars jumped Bryan and Cody hit the Gourdbuster onto an equipmunk cart. Team Hell No [c] vs. Team Rhodes Scholars [WWE Tag Team Championship], Main Event (November 14th) Glad Team Friendship is getting more match time, they're going to need a lot more to pull off Tag Team of the Year in the rankings like they deserve. This is good, but they take forever to get to Bryan's injured ribs, and it comes after Cody fucks himself up on a bad Back Drop bump. He hurts his shoulder, so they clearly change some stuff to go with that as he's out for the rest of the match. Sandow works all of the match after that and has some good work on the ribs, but it's way too short before Kane gets in. He cleans house on Sandow and hits a Chokeslam. Bryan gets the tag and hits the Diving Headbutt to win. **1/2 The Usos vs. Heath Slater/Jinder Mahal, Superstars (November 15th) This has been a nice little series, and it's no surprise this is the best of the Usos/3MB series since The Usos are greater collectively. It's not the best Usos match ever by far, since 3MB is half-horrible and Jinder's super boring transition spot of a throw into the steps pales in comparison to the cool ones between Usos/PTP or Colons. Slater brought it though. Good finishing run, and Slater hits one of them with the Smash Hit and 3MB wins for some reason. **1/4 |

They got 6-7 minutes and Sandow's control segment was the good part. Kingston gets beat with a roll up after he hurts his knee off of a landing. *1/2 They re-air the ending of the AJ/Cena/Vickie/Ziggler segment. Match #2: Kaitlyn/Layla/Natalya vs. Eve/Alicia Fox/Aksana Good little six person. Kaitlyn beats Aksana with the Reverse DDT. *1/2 In the parking lot, Booker T finds Sheamus still waiting and says he gets it. But he's in a bad position now and he's heard Big Show won't even come here unless he's here. Sheamus says he'll move, but says to tell Big Show to fight him tonight if he has any guts. Booker says to just wait two days and Sheamus says if he sees Big Show tonight, he won't make it to Survivor Series. Match #3: Randy Orton/The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler/Alberto Del Rio Ziggler did the best that he could. Miz is even worse. Orton's not trying a ton, and trying is a foreign concept to ADR by now. So luckily, the match is all...NOPE. MOSTLY ADR VS. THE MIZ. WHAT? DID YOU EXPECT A GOOD MATCH ON SMACKDOWN? WWE seems to almost learn something here as Miz pins ADR to win with the Skull Crushing Finale, instead of Ziggler, but it's still a Miz win, so not totally. *3/4 Orton and Miz argue, and Orton drops him with an RKO because fuck him. featured an in-ring promo by Sheamus in which he called for Show to fight him in the ring; moments later, Show appeared and said he was scared of what he might do to Sheamus and Sheamus needed to thank him, with Sheamus leaving the ring to go after Show until he was stopped in the aisle by Booker and held back as Show went backstage; Booker then told Sheamus to leave the building In the back, Booker T books Show vs. a mystery guy tonight. Match #4: Kane vs. Wade Barrett This is a minute before Ziggler, ADR, and Sandow all run out to attack Kane for the DQ. Great. 45/Poopy Bryan runs out to save, but it's 4 on 2. Mick Foley runs out and waves out Kofi and Orton, and they run off the heels. Miz then comes out on the stage to watch, because he's basically worthless. RAW REBOUND! Match #5: Antonio Cesaro vs. Sin Cara Good 2-3 minute Cesaro showcase, and he's still the best lucha bumper. Pop-Up European goes into the Neutralizer for the win. ** R-Truth comes out and leads a "USA" chant. The Big Show comes out for the main event, but it's just Khali. Match #6: The Big Show vs. The Great Khali This was decent for a giant's match. Show's body shots are amazing. Khali sort of just did stuff while Show led him, but it was watchable enough. Show gets the win with the KO Punch. *1/2 Show goes to the back to leave on his private bus, and Sheamus attacks him in the parking lot. He throws him into stuff and breaks some windshields before referees break it up. |

This is again proof of what happened on Raw, where they give really talented guys a lot of time that they might not have otherwise gotten and it rules. They get 18 minutes and do all kinds of cool stuff and put on an amazing spotfest. Sin Cara looks the best he ever has against Primo early on, breaking out a perfect cascading Yoshi Tonic. Only rough spot was Clay accidentally dropping Tensai on his face off a failed Exploder, but he was gone 30 seconds later. They get rid of the dead weight in the first half when Tensai beats Clay with the Back Senton. Gabriel gets Tensai out with a crucifix pin, and then everyone can just go wild. Kidd rolls up Titus to get rid of him next, and Epico taps to the Sharpshooter. Rey beats Primo with the La Magistral Cradle and then D-Young loses last after the 619, Sin Cara's Swanton, Gabriel's springboard Moonsault, Kidd's elbow, and then the Penguin Splash. All four survivors now look really awesome. This is easily the most underrated match of the year. ***1/4 Horrible K-Mart commercial with Sheamus. In the back, a mystery blond attacks Kaitlyn. She fights her off, and it's Aksana in a wig. Aksana runs away and Kaitlyn has the wig. Eve comes up and asks if she's okay and says she'd hate for something to happen to her before their match. Kaitlyn pushes her away and throws the wig down and asks if she's okay, because she'd hate for something to happen to her before their match. Match #2: Eve [c] vs. Kaitlyn [WWE Divas Championship] They again have a really good match since they get 7 minutes. Eve keeps trying to run and Kaitlyn beats the shit out of her. Eve takes over and everything is really really brutal and good looking. Kaitlyn's comeback is really good and it feels like Eve's working a Flair/Sting style match in the women's division. Eve pulls Kaitlyn face-first off the apron to the floor in an amazing bump, and then hits the Corkscrew Neckbreaker in the ring to win. **1/4 Cody is still injured from Main Event, so Otunga is in instead. God damnit. In a clip from the pre-show, Team Ziggler talks. ADR says they have to respect their captain, but knowing him, he'll probably be gone first, and then they can follow him. Wade says he's been a leader himself and Ziggler says no. They all keep arguing. In the locker room, Team Foley argues. Randy Orton is just sitting down bored, and Foley comes in to see this. He yells that this is enough and they're all strong and diverse personalities, but they need to be survivors and do it as a group. He wants a group hug and a "Bang, Bang" on three. Everyone goes in but Randy, and they do it. Everyone leaves, and Randy finally stands up. Foley asks if he's with them, and in the most entertaining thing he does from early 2010 to SummerSlam 2013, he just looks at Foley, blinks, and says "I hate you..." like he's trying to remind Foley of this, before leaving. Before his match, Cesaro says Thanksgiving makes no sense whatsoever. He asks what the US is thankful for, a weak economy, a deteriorating infrastructure, or the skyrocketing obesity rate. He says the only thing the United States can be thankful for is having him as the US Champion. Match #3: Antonio Cesaro [c] vs. R-Truth [WWE U.S. Championship] Claudio does the best he can, but it's an R-Truth match, so it's not really much good at all. Cesaro pulls it off with the Neutralizer. ** included an in-ring promo by AJ about the accusations against her from Vickie Guerrero and said Vickie came up with it because she had her own secret; moments later, Vickie interrupted, with AJ showing doctored photographs on the big screen of Vickie eating burritos with Ricardo Rodriguez, barbecue sauce with Jim Ross, and dancing in a bedroom with Brodus Clay; AJ then said she showed her evidence because it was as fake as what Vickie had been showing; the two continued to have words before Tamina appeared, dropped AJ with a Samoan Drop, and a splash off the top In the back, Josh interviews Paul Heyman, and asks about the match tonight. Paul says it's not a bag of tricks that Punk has, and asks what tricks CM Punk has used over the last 364 days. Josh can't think of one, and Paul says just like everyone else, Josh refuses to give CM Punk credit that he deserves. In the most competitive WWE locker room ever, CM Punk has been champion for a year. CM Punk has beaten John Cena so many times he's actually lost count, and was the first and only man to ever beat Ryback. He assures as that the WWE Champion is prepared to not only survive, but to thrive. Hype video for Show/Sheamus. Match #4: The Big Show [c] vs. Sheamus [World Heavyweight Championship] This happened. It turns out that HIAC was kind of this one time only situation where these two had the best match they could ever have, and then the other matches are all just really average. Big Show has all his great and painful looking body blows and shots, and Sheamus comes back. Show shoves the ref in the way of the Brogue Kick, but then eats it himself. Referees come to check on him, but Show KO Punches Sheamus and gets the pin. **1/2 The other referee DQs Show for pulling Scott Armstrong in the way, and there's an argument. Sheamus magically recovers way too quickly and beats Show down with a ton of chair shots to build up the return of the CHAIR MATCH. Sheamus then lays out Big Show with the Brogue Kick. He leaves, and Show slowly gets up to massive chants for Ziggler. Match #5: Randy Orton/Team Hell No/The Miz/Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler/Alberto Del Rio/Damien Sandow/Wade Barrett/David Otunga [Elimination Match] This is really good, but the layout makes no god damned sense. Sandow is out in like three minutes after a Buzzsaw Kick from Bryan and then the Chokeslam from Kane. Otunga and Miz stay in this a long time too, so this is just poorly designed. Kane and Bryan argue, and Kane gets eliminated by the Peace Zig. Miz and Orton argue after that. Otunga continues to be amazingly awful, and Miz/Otunga may be the worst pairing in SurSer match history. Otunga taps out to the No Lock. Kofi's out next after the now renamed Bullhammer elbow from Wade. It gets a little better now, and Bryan and Ziggler have some great stuff, but Bryan has an elbow pad on for once and is taking it a little easy due to his injury around this time. Ziggler's easily the MVP of the match. Bryan taps out to ADR's shitty Cross Armbreaker next. Miz/Wade is also pretty average and Ziggler takes more huge bumps to save it, and Miz gets rid of Wade with the Skull Crushing Finale. Miz misses the corner clothesline he stole from Bourne and ADR hits a modified Quicksilver Kick to get rid of him. ADR/Orton happens because OF COURSE. ADR loses to the RKO once again, and Orton and Ziggler have some solid work. Orton goes for the punt instead of the RKO to end it, and Ziggler breaks out his sweet Superkick for the upset win! They did an awesome job putting over Ziggler in the match here, glad they're finally doing that! **3/4 Hype video for the main event. Match #6: CM Punk [c] w/ Paul Heyman vs. John Cena vs. Ryback [WWE Championship] Punk seems to understand triple threat main events more than most since the last few he's been in have delivered big time (Punk/ADR/Miz, Punk/Kane/Bryan, Punk/Cena/Show) and this was the least of them, but still really really good. He bumps around big almost all match, and Ryback gets put through a table. Punk and Cena then do their finisher kick out thing, and it's a little much for a match with as little build as this. Ryback has Cena beat with the Shellshocked, but three dudes in black jump him! ![]() ![]() Punk crawls on and covers Cena to win. **3/4 Believe. |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE Raw November 19th, 2012 Dayton, OH Ryback comes out to open the show and he gets on the mic. Ryback says he was about to feast on the WWE Championship, but CM Punk had three men take food out of a starving man's mouth. He says his hunger won't be suppressed and he has three new pieces of prey and tells them all to come out and face him. He says he'll tear the place apart if they don't. Vickie comes out and threatens a suspension if he does anything, but since he wants to fight, she gives him Tensai. Match #1: Ryback vs. Tensai Decent three minute Ryback showcase. Tensai basically gets run through and Ryback wins with the Shellshocked. *3/4 In the back, Sheamus yells at the referee from last night because he's a sore loser. TONIGHT: PUNK'S YEAR CELEBRATION! ADR/ORTON IN A BEST OF THREE FALLS MATCH! Match #2: Kofi Kingston vs. Wade Barrett During Wade's entrance, a clip of a WWE.com interview airs with Wade saying he beat Kofi last night and now he's going to take back the Intercontinental Title. This pretty much happened, but they got 9 minutes because WWE's time management abilities basically consist of lining up all the matches and picking one to get more time at random, I'm assuming. Kofi tries to throw strikes with Wade, and while Wade's hardly the best striker ever, Kofi still looks laughable against him. Wade's control stuff is solid as he works over the face after and eye gouge, and then Kofi Kofi's it up at the end before losing to the god damned Bullhammer. ** At ringside, the attack on Ryback is gone over and they're identified as Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns from NXT. A video on Braddox airs to kill time. In the back, Paul Heyman has a blown up poster of Punk holding up the title for the celebration tonight, and Punk is impressed. Matt Striker comes over with a hilariously bad handlebar mustache and asks about his affiliation with the NXT guys. Punk says Striker keeps disrespecting him like this and he acts like he won't hurt him for doing it. Striker asks Ryback again and Punk asks why anybody cares. Paul calms him down and says this is a celebration tonight and everyone is invited, even Ryback. Punk then asks to talk to Heyman in the locker room. Match #3: Kaitlyn vs. Aksana This is solid enough for a few minutes, Aksana's improved a decent amount lately. Kaitlyn still gets put over primarily here, and now uses a Gutbuster for the win. *1/2 R-Truth is on commentary. Match #4: Antonio Cesaro vs. Brodus Clay w/ The Funkadactyls Another awesome Claudio showcase against a bigger guy. Claudio breaks out the Flying European Uppercut, and then The Neutralizer to win. ** JOHN CENA GRANTED HIS 300TH WISH. CHEER. Vickie Guerrero is in the ring with some people and says she's just trying to tell the truth about AJ. She says Tamina Snuka respects authority, but AJ doesn't, and she's made a fool out of herself and John Cena because of it, and she has manufactured nothing. She says these two will lay doubts to rest because they're eyewitnesses. The girl tells a story about being a waitress and the guy was a parking lot attendant and says Cena and AJ were parked in his lot for an hour together. AJ comes out and yells to shut up. John Cena comes out and says Vickie wants to give people something to talk about, but this is how to do it, and makes out with AJ. Ziggler runs out, but Cena catches him trying to attack. He runs him off, but like a moron, hurts his ankle chasing Ziggler to the back. TONIGHT: SHEAMUS VS. SANDOW Match #5: Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio [Best of Three Falls] As much fun as it's been watching Randy Orton win every meeting they've had for the last two months, I'm begging that this is the end of the feud. This is the best match of the feud at least, so they can probably end on a high note. Starts with three minutes of nothing, but ADR goes down 0-1 with a DQ after repeatedly throwing Orton shoulder-first into the post. ADR works over the arm, and Orton sells pretty well, and taps out to the shitty Cross Armbreaker to make it 1-1. More hurty arm kicks and Orton selling after doing stuff, but Ricardo gets ejected. They had a really great finishing run before Orton gets the win when he avoids the Quicksilver Kick and hits the RKO to win. This is borderline, but I liked it enough. *** In the back, the doctor tapes up Cena's knee and AJ apologizes. Match #6: The Great Khali vs. The Colons Hornswoggle is in Khali's corner to counteract Rosa, but he gives her flowers. He squirts water out of them in Rosa's face. Khali does stuff and beats Primo with the Tree Slam. Okay then. Not sure why they couldn't just give Orton/ADR another minute, since that's all this lasted. 1/2* Match #7: The Miz vs. David Otunga This was absolutely rotten and got 6 minutes because of the randomized time management board. Miz wins with the Skull Crushing Finale. 3/4* prior to the bout, Sheamus came out in possession of a steel chair and cut an in-ring promo, saying World Heavyweight Champion the Big Show made their feud personal for attacking William Regal and called him out; moments later, Show limped out to the entrance stage, with the two arguing until Sandow interrupted for the match Match #8: Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow This was once again really really good, and their best match together. Sheamus is a bully and uses Sandow's beard to throw him around, so Sandow returns the favor and hits a sweet Neckbreaker on the floor to take over. His work was a little unfocused and blatant rest hold level chinlocky, but the finishing run was awesome. Sheamus of course gets the win with the White Noise followed by the Brogue Kick. **3/4 In the back, AJ goes into Vickie's office. Vickie lets Tamina stand to the side, and asks if they've met. AJ says she knows she sent Dolph to attack Cena, and Vickie asks what she's going to do and AJ says John's hurt and asks what SHE'S going to do. Vickie says nothing, so AJ says she will then. In the back, AJ goes and walks into the men's locker room. Everyone scatters, but Drew McIntyre just sort of hangs out with his cowboy hat on and a towel around his waist. She goes over to Ziggler as he sits down and asks who he thinks he is. He says girls like her are a dime a dozen. They came from nothing and they ARE nothing, and because they've been so alone their entire lives, as soon as someone pays her a little attention, she globs onto them and their entire world. And where does it leave her when they're gone? Back all alone, desperate, and pathetic. And every time someone disappoints her, she loses a piece of herself, and she's a shell of a woman. Sad, weak, and pitiful. He says she's just trash, and sits back down. She attacks him, but Cena pulls her off. Ziggler and Cena then fight AND ZIGGLER TACKLES CENA THROUGH A BATHROOM STALL WALL! YEAH! Ziggler beats on him until the locker room pulls him off. The Prime Time Players come out to do commentary. Match #9: Team Hell No vs. Rey Mysterio/Sin Cara This was an awesome 7 minutes. Sin Cara and Rey are on their A game here, and Bryan puts in a great effort too as a result, despite the injury he's working through. Bryan/Rey looked amazing. It says a lot about how good Titus is on the mic that he was able to steal this match as much as he did. Lawler says he washes his hair with a washrag, so Titus gets on him about the term "washrag" all match, and even breaks out PAY WINDAH. Cole tries to bury D-Young all match for not joining in on the clowning, which is really fucked up since D-Young is getting over the match and them wanting a shot at the winners. Rey has a pretty sweet hot tag, but the PTP attack both teams for the bell. **3/4 Rey and Titus both get a Chokeslam, and Bryan then runs off D-Young. In the back, CM Punk talks to Paul. He thanks Punk for letting him do this for him after all the dues he's paid, and says he wants this to make it all worth it for him. And nobody will ruin or tarnish this night for him, he personally guarantees it. REPLAYS OF CENA'S STUFF. In the ring, Paul Heyman is there with some blown up pictures of Punk behind him and something else on the other side behind him. He says he is Paul Heyman and it's time to get something straight. You don't boo him. He's here tonight to honor a man who's defended the WWE Championship for 365 days, and asks if they're upset with CM Punk for winning AGAIN last night against Cena and Ryback. He asks if people are mad because they made fun of Jerry Lawler last week, and says people tweet and Tout and cry for the Attitude Era, but when THEY give them attitude, they don't really like it anymore. They have the temerity to chant "ECW" at him, but when they give them just a LITTLE bit of the extreme, they don't really like it. The problem is that the WWE Universe has never been able to truly handle greatness when your reigning WWE Champion stands in this ring and makes history every single night by raising the bar so high that even in the most hyper-competitive environment in WWE history, this man stands head and shoulders above the rest. Not just in today's environment, but for all time. It's time put "smiles on faces" because this is a celebration of 365 GLORIOUS days of the title reign of your reigning, defending WWE Champion, and THE BEST IN THE WORLD, CM PUNK. Paul is the best. Punk still winds up getting a pretty huge pop, and he hugs Paul. Punk gets the mic and says Shawn couldn't do it, Triple H couldn't do it, Bret Hart could not do it, and that makes HIM the best there is, was, or ever will be. The Undertaker could not do it, and DWAYNE couldn't do it. 365 days as WWE Champion, one full year. An amazing video tribute to the year airs. Punk says this is a night of celebration but it's not just about honoring the past, it's about the future. It's recognizing his place in history, and that's at the top. He won't stop until he's the top of this list behind him, and he has his sights set on July 25th, 2018 when on WWE Main Event, he surpasses Bruno and becomes the longest reigning WWE Champion in history. Paul says he was a fun of Bruno and he belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame, just as he will be there one day, but Bruno Sammartino could NEVER beat CM Punk. Truth be told, HULK HOGAN COULD NEVER BEAT CM PUNK. ANOTHER PAUL HEYMAN GUY, "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN COULD NEVER, ON HIS BEST DAY, BEAT CM PUNK. AND AS A MATTER OF FACT, IT'S GOING TO BE PROVEN THAT NOT EVEN THE ROCK CAN BEAT CM PUNK. Punk thanks him for all of this and says people ask him about his reign and they ask what his important victory has been, and Punk says there's been A LOT, but last night might have been the one. Because nobody thought he could win, and beat Cena and Ryback by himself, and says the world bet against him AND THEY LOST. Ryback comes out, BUT THE NXT GUYS ATTACK ON THE RAMP! YEAH! They hit the Triple Powerbomb through the table, and leave to stand in the ring. Punk goes out and holds up the belt over Ryback on the floor. |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE NXT November 21st, 2012 Orlando, FL In the back, young interview guy interviews Kassius Ohno. He says Trent "beat" him because of Richie Steamboat, but he's already avenged that one. He says he's having a premonition, and this happens from time to time. Tonight, he'll give Trent another try and he'll give him the old Steamboat treatment when he ends his career and makes him feel more pain than he's ever experienced. Poor little guy's never gonna be the same. Match #1: Paige vs. Alicia Fox Another good match with these two. Paige rules, and Alicia is randomly an actual good women's wrestler down in NXT. They do some solid nearfalls, and Paige debuts what Saxton's dumb ass calls the "Paige Turner" to win, which is just Jimmy Rave's old Ghanarea. *3/4 Match #2: Big E. Langston vs. Camacho This is basically a Big E squash, but it's good enough. Big Ending gets the three count, and Langston is not impressed. *1/2 Langston hits the Big Ending again and counts a five count for himself. AND THEN ANOTHER BIG ENDING AND FIVE COUNT. FUCK YEAH. In the back, Trent Baretta has been laid out. The camera pans around the corner, AND LEO KRUGER IS SITTING AND LAUGHING! In the back, interview guy says NXT doctors have not cleared Trent for tonight to wrestle Ohno. Match #3: Bronson vs. Nick Rodgers Another cool Bronson squash for a minute. He does hurty looking stuff and then wins with this sweet Figure Four/Heel Hook combination for the win. *1/4 Bray Wyatt comes out and asks if the little lambs are afraid of him. He deserves all your fear. FEAR HIM, LITTLE LAMB. He says there's nothing that could have prepared them for this night, because he gives their lives purpose for the first time ever. Congratulations, little lamb, he's about to make you famous. Luke Harper then comes out for his match. Bray sits on the stage in a rocking chair. Match #4: Luke Harper w/ Bray Wyatt vs. Mike Dalton This was great for the 90 seconds or so that it was given. Dalton again looks really really good on offense and when putting Brodie's offense over. Brodie wins with the Black Hole Slam once again. *3/4 Bray gets back on the mic and says he warned them all 2,000 years ago that he is the eater of worlds. And when he decides it's time to start hurting people, believe him, there'll be none of you left. Earlier today, Seth Rollins and Jinder had the shittiest pull-apart ever. RAW REBOUND. Kassius Ohno comes out for the main event, and he gets on the mic. He says his opponent for tonight is Trent Baretta, and he can assure them that he's never been more ready to tear someone to pieces, but has to ask, "Where's Trent?" He has it on good authority that Trenty had a mishap backstage, so he has no opponent. He tells the referee to count to 10 and then raise his hand in victory. Dusty Rhodes comes out and says he knows he manipulated this confrontation with Trent Baretta, but now he has to answer to him about that. But he knows he's saying he doesn't have a match, but he found a match for him, AND RICHIE STEAMBOAT MAKES HIS RETURN! FUCK YEAH! AWESOME ANGLE! Match #5: Kassius Ohno vs. Richie Steamboat This is borderline, but I really liked this, so I'll call it Hero's first great match in the WWE system. Steamboat is hit or miss, but he works the story of the match well. He's so hot about Ohno's actions that he dominates early on, but it keeps costing him because he's too eager to get at him. So Ohno takes over and it's amazing. JR wins accidentally by describing Hero's control segment as "very European". Steamboat has a decent comeback and Hero puts him into a sweet finishing run. He just avoids the Rolling Elbow and gets the Sling Blade for the win. *** |

B-SHOW ROUNDUP Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz, Main Event (November 21st) This got a ton of hype at the time, and I see why, as it's easily the best Miz singles match since probably when he fought Danielson or Morrison in early 2011. Ziggler is on a complete tear here, taking his most insane bumps in months and being super super crisp with everything. This feels like him saying in pro wrestling form that if he can get this 20 minute amazing match out of THE MIZ, he should be getting so much more. And usually that's fair, but Miz sucked less than he has in over a year here. He basically stayed out of the way, but he leaned into everything instead of shying away and Ziggler doing the same made his usually shitty "intense" stuff actually look hard hitting. Match itself was pretty basic, but I loved how fast they started with the basic stuff. Ziggler had some awesome cut-offs throughout the match, giving Miz a little more each time. Good finishing run of nearfalls, and Ziggler sends Miz into an unprotected steel buckle and hits the Peace Zig to win. *** The Usos vs. Heath Slater/Jinder Mahal, Saturday Morning Slam (November 24th) The Usos are back on SMS and deliver another fantastic comedy fun match in the spirit of the show. Slater leans into this big time with tons of ridiculous posing and stooging. There's a little bit of a dance off too and the Usos have their cool dives. 3MB's control isn't bad, and then there's a great Uso hot tag. Drew distracts the one on the top, and Slater runs up the ropes and breaks out that sweet Super Powerslam for the win. They could have used more than 4-5 minutes here. ** |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE Smackdown November 23rd, 2012 Grand Rapids, MI featured an opening in-ring segment of Miz TV in which Mike Mizanin introduced John Cena as his guest to discuss his relationship with AJ and his tweaked knee; Cena admitted he liked kissing AJ on Raw and that she was a good kisser; moments later, AJ came out and told Cena she knew he just kissed her to prove a point to Vickie Guerrero; after Miz questioned if they were in love, Dolph Ziggler interrupted and said, if he were Cena he would hate AJ and then reviewed footage of AJ confronting Ziggler in the men's locker room and then throwing Cena into the bathroom stalls; Guerrero then joined Ziggler at the entrance stage and made fun of Cena and AJ before Cena said Vickie ate a lot of nuts and Ziggler was still trying to find his TONIGHT: KOFI/SANDOW FOR THE IC TITLE! Match #1: Ryback vs. Darren Young w/ Titus O'Neil Titus goes back to commentary and steals the entire match. D-Young makes Ryback look amazing for the two minutes this actually gets, and Titus keeps getting involved by blowing the whistle. Ryback wins with Shellshocked. *3/4 Titus gets on the mic and yells that that boy is worth millions of dollars and blows the whistle in his face. Ryback then throws him in and also hits Shellshocked on him. Antonio Cesaro comes out for his match and says judging by all the obese faces, full bellies, and greasy fingers, everyone here enjoyed their Thanksgiving. Another ridiculous US holiday that celebrates laziness, but luckily for all of them, they have Antonio Cesaro as their United States Champion. Match #2: Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth This is all of 90 seconds, and Truth wins with Black Finisher. * In the back, Booker T finds Sheamus. He says Survivor Series was out of control and Big Show is banged up. Sheamus says he deserved it, and Booker says to stop it, and he can't let him compete tonight. He books Big Show/Sheamus III for TLC in a CHAIRS MATCH. Booker tells him to go to his personal suite with some friends and have a good time so he doesn't cause any trouble. Booker says Big Show has a handicap match against Team Hell No as punishment for what he did to that referee Match #3: Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara This is about the same as always, and the fucking lighting is back since he's working singles again. It's your now typical match for ADR to win again after losing a big match. He works the arm with some lame and pedestrian stuff and Sin Cara doesn't sell at all before he loses to the shitty Cross Armbreaker. *3/4 In the back, Team Hell No talks. Bryan says it's simple, and says to stay out of his way. Bryan says before they were a team, he beat Big Show for the title in 45 seconds, and Kane says that won't happen again. He says years ago, he was champions with The Big Show, and even then, he was a baby. Come to think of it, Bryan and Show a lot in common, and Kane says they can be Team No Show. Bryan asks if this is because he didn't invite him over for Thanksgiving, and Kane says maybe. Bryan says it was vegan turkey, and Kane asks what the point is. Bryan says if they win, he can come over for Christmas. Kane asks if he can beat up Santa Claus, and Bryan says "deal". Sheamus and William Regal and some other random people are in the suite in the upper deck Match #4: The Big Show vs. Team Hell No This is a solid 8 minutes, although it's very held back and about putting the DYSFUNCTION~ thing over. Bryan works most of it, refusing to tag out, and he and Show have a solid little big/small match. Kane gets in for like a minute, but Bryan tags himself back in. He yells at Kane to get out, so Kane leaves. Bryan loses to the Chokeslam. **1/4 Kane comes down to check on Bryan, but Show grabs him by the throat. They fight over a Chokeslam, but Bryan kicks Show in the knee, and Kane drives him out with a Big Boot! Wade Barrett comes out to do commentary. Match #5: Kofi Kingston [c] vs. Damien Sandow [WWE Intercontinental Championship] Damien again tries his best, but this was super pedestrian. Generic safe transition bumps, Kofi casually selling stuff now and then, etc. Sandow's control stuff all looked good and painful, and then Kofi did his sloppy athletic spots to come back. Kofi wins with that fucking kick. *1/2 Wade stands on the table and signals for the belt. RAW REBOUND! Match #6: Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler These two again deliver when they get 9 minutes, and Ziggler gets to now look like Orton's equal for most of this. He takes over without cheating, hangs even during a slugfest, etc. Orton makes his comeback, but they intentionally cut this short before it can go from good to great, as Ziggler blocks the first RKO try and gets a schoolboy with the trunks to win! **3/4 Ziggler leaves, but like the coward he is, John Cena attacks him from behind on the stage. He puts on the STFU and has to be pulled off. |

He throws Titus into D-Young on the apron, and then hits the Shellshocked for the win. *1/2 Ryback takes the mic, and says his stomach is still empty, and he's not leaving until he gets to feast on CM Punk or his backup men. Security comes out and Ryback throws one of them out onto the others. Vickie Guerrero comes out and says she understands his anger, but he can't hold her show hostage. Ryback demands Punk in a TLC match, so Vickie books it for the PPV. Ryback then scares off the other guards and leaves. featured a segment from earlier in the day of Rosa Mendes confronting Hornswoggle backstage, with Alberto Del Rio appearing and telling Mendes not to worry about Hornswoggle; ADR then said he could get revenge on Hornswoggle if Mendes wanted, with the Great Khali appearing and scaring ADR away Match #2: Alberto Del Rio vs. The Great Khali w/ Hornswoggle This gets cut off by a commercial and JIP, so there's some kind of mercy here, but it still gets three minutes, which means that in actuality, they gave this 6-7 minutes and that's completely insane. Hornswoggle bites Ricardo on the ass. ADR basically tries to work his usual vague arm work squash on Khali and it's so laughable and bad and just incredibly awkward. Khali can't sell because he's a Frankenstein monster, and ADR wins with the shitty Cross Armbreaker. 3/4* In the back, Punk and Heyman confront Vickie and Punk asks why she just did that. He says she hasn't been paying attention, because he's beaten him already and Ryback's failed twice in a row, and she's endangering him inside TLC. Paul says he has a legitimate gripe and they understand she has a lot of pressure on her. She says her head is clear, and Punk yells that it's not. Paul calms him down and says she's clearly biased against John Cena, so to cover her tracks, she's biased against Punk too, so nobody questions it. Vickie says he got a shot because their referee and their boys helped him. Punk says he has no referee in his pocket, and he has no boys. Vickie then books him vs. either Kane or Bryan depending on a WWE Active poll. A sit-down interview between Cole and the three NXT guys airs. Ambrose says to just ask his questions, so Cole asks if they're working for CM Punk directly. Ambrose immediately comes with "nope!", so Cole asks why they're here. Tyler Black opens his dumb fucking mouth and says they sat down in NXT and saw things clearly. Everybody around here has to answer to the Vickies and Booker Ts, and they have to answer to the Board, and then to the WWE Universe. He asks what that even is, and it's a popularity contest, and it isn't fair. He says they're a shield from injustice in WWE in the one good thing he's said ever. Cole says they've benefited CM Punk, and Ambrose says it's not about Punk, it's about right and wrong. The WWE Champions was forced to fight two men he'd beaten over and over, and that was wrong. If Ryback was champion for a full year and Punk tried to ruin that, they'd have done the same thing. Cole asks Roman about this, and he says when he wants to say something, he'll say it. Ambrose says he hears and reads everything, but they're not renegades or mercenaries. They're about principles and honor. They are The Shield. Roman says they've said enough, and they walk off. FUCK YES. FANDANGO. Match #3: Tamina vs. Alicia Fox Tamina pretty much squashes Alicia, and it's alright for two minutes, but still not a whole lot. Tamina wins with the Superfly Splash, because she's related to Jimmy Snuka. You may not have known that. 1/2* included an in-ring promo by John Cena regarding the kiss he received the previous week from AJ, with Vickie interrupting, joining Cena in the ring, and saying the kiss proved they were having an affair; Vickie then gave Cena matching bathrobes for he and AJ, with AJ then coming out and saying - now that she wasn't GM - she could date whomever she wanted and do whatever she wanted; AJ then said she wasn't a lovesick puppy and confronted Vickie, leading to Dolph Ziggler coming out to the entrance stage and saying he knew it worried Cena that AJ kissed him but was really thinking about Ziggler; Cena went to confront Ziggler but Vickie stopped him and said Cena would face Ziggler later in the show Wade Barrett comes out to yet again do commentary. Match #4: Kofi Kingston vs. Tensai Tensai tried his best, but this is under three minutes and mostly Kofi offense, so it was pretty bad. The only notable thing is that Kofi/Barrett is announced for TLC, and that's pushing the limits of "notable". Kofi wins with that fucking kick again. 3/4* Wade gets in the ring, and hands Kofi the belt before leaving. In the back, Daniel Bryan and Kane have a voting map. It's blue for Bryan and red for Kane, and Bryan shows that everyone is voting for him. Bryan says there's no data in Hell, so he might win there. Kane chokes him and says he can send him there to find out. Josh then reveals the poll and Kane wins 59% to 41%. God damnit, WWE Universe. You assholes are the worst. Kane says red rules and leaves, and Josh then makes Bryan vs. Rey next! Yeah! Match #5: Daniel Bryan vs. Rey Mysterio This is a pretty huge dream match, and it's a shame they held off until 2012 to do this one Rey is a shell of a man and can't really work big singles matches anymore. Still, they get 9 minutes and this is great. They stick to just doing stuff and Bryan is smart enough not to try anything resembling limbwork. Rey does what he can still do pretty well, but that's the same thing every match since he's trimmed the usual 2009-11 comeback of Headscissors/Seated Senton/Crossbody/either a Basement Dropkick or a Buzzsaw Kick from a variety of positions into just the Headscissors and then a sunset flip into a Buzzsaw Kick EVERY time. Rey hits a 619 around the post and then the Penguin Splash to win. **3/4 included a backstage segment in which ADR and Rodriguez found Mendes, who thanked ADR for defending her honor earlier in the show In the back, Josh interviews Dolph Ziggler and asks if he's made this personal on purpose. Ziggler says he just had THE best week of his life, and this doesn't get any bigger. He says John Cena is preoccupied with an obsessive, weak, narrow minded, attention craving nutcase. He says he can't wait to see the look on her face after what he does to AJ's boyfriend tonight. A recap of last week's Cena/Ziggler attacks airs. Match #6: John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler They get only 8-9 minutes, so it's not the best work they could possibly do, since the commercial trims out the majority of Ziggler's control segment. So what we see is a slow start and transition spots, but then Cena comes back really quickly and it's 5-6 minutes of a really good finishing run. Cena kicks out of the Peace Zig because he's deep into that Hogan phase now. Cena has his knee worked on at ringside and AJ comes out to distract Dolph. Vickie comes out to get rid of her. Dolph tries to use the briefcase when Cena gets back in, but he ducks and hits the FU to win. **3/4 Match #7: Sheamus vs. Antonio Cesaro This is a third 10 minute match between talented guys, so it also delivers. It's the first meeting of these two, and they'll go on to have a ton of great matches together. Claudio forces Sheamus to put actual struggle into the opening headlock-y stuff before brawling happens. Cesaro might be the best opponent for Sheamus to have a slugfest with, as he'll actually be able to fill time during the middle while also hitting hard with Sheamus. There's a sweet transition spot where he trips Sheamus as he climbs up the steps, and Sheamus takes a nasty bump onto all the steps instead of just the top or falling off. Cesaro beats the shit out of him when in control, and they continue to smack the crap out of each other in the finishing run. Cesaro breaks out the Alpamare Waterslide and then Sheamus eats the most digustingly loud European Uppercut of the match when he gets caught coming off the top. Sheamus avoids the Neutralizer and hits a desperation Brogue Kick. Cesaro falls out to the floor and Sheamus collapses, winning by count out. THIS is the way to put Cesaro over in defeat, unfortunate that they forgot how to do this in the coming months. ***1/4 Sheamus gets up, but The Big Show comes out with a chair. To send a message, Big Show destroys the chair. Before his match, Damien Sandow comes down with the mic and says being back on his own temporarily has reminded him that his purpose for being here is to drag the rest of them out of the doldrums of their own ignorance. Therefore, he will continue his crusade by taking apart this mouth breathing miscreant in the ring this evening. YOU'RE WELCOME. Match #8: Damien Sandow vs. Zack Ryder This got about five minutes, which is ridiculous since it meant they were way way too even. Ryder's cool and all, but he had his moment and shouldn't go this long with people they're actually attempting to push. Sandow wins with the still unnamed Straightjacket Neckbreaker. *3/4 In the back, Josh interviews Paul Heyman outside Punk's locker room. Paul says CM Punk is again subjected to the whims of the WWE Universe on the day of his 372nd day as WWE Champion, and he's surpassed Randy Savage as well on the all-time list. He says this is another injustice and shoves Josh out of the way. Match #9: CM Punk w/ Paul Heyman vs. Kane This isn't as good as their matches in May and June, since Punk is working more hurt now and I think this is his last actual match of 2012, as fate costs him a third WWE WOTY award that he would have had sewn up if he worked the PPV and all of December. It's still really good though, Punk works hard, and Kane's best stuff is always against the smaller guys. Punk seems to hurt his knee here, but can work on it fine. The Shield comes from the crowd, but don't hop the railing yet. Kane is distracted and Punk hits the GTS to win. **1/2 The Shield comes over now and they get in the ring. They attack Kane and CM Punk watches on the floor before Daniel Bryan runs out to save. He gets beaten down in a 3 on 1, and Ryback comes out! Punk just jumps over the railing and runs away. Ryback beats on them, but Punk comes back to distract him. Ryback gets laid out with the Triple Powerbomb, and Punk holds up the belt. |

WWE Champion: CM Punk, Since 11/20/2011 - LONGEST REIGNING CHAMPION CURRENTLY World Heavyweight Champion: The Big Show, Since 10/28/2012 WWE U.S. Champion: Antonio Cesaro, Since 8/19/2012 WWE Intercontinental Champion: Kofi Kingston, Since 10/17/2012 WWE Tag Team Champions: Team Hell No, Since 9/16/2012 WWE Diva's Champion: Eve, Since 9/16/2012 NXT Champion: Seth Rollins, Since 8/29/2012 WWE NXT November 28th, 2012 Orlando, FL In the back, Daniel Bryan says tonight marks his return to NXT. And since he's left the show, he's accomplished a lot. He's launched a successful line of t-shirts, he's become World Heavyweight Champion, and he's grown an immaculate beard. AND HE IS THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS. He says he has some demands, that people not chant "YES" at him, that nobody calls him a goat face, and that his partner stays out of his way. The camera pans out and Kane is standing to the left side. They argue about who the tag team champions is before Bryan storms off. Match #1: Trent Baretta vs. Leo Kruger Trent does an awesome job putting over Leo here for 3-4 minutes. His ribs are taped from the attack, and sells them off of pretty much every spot in the match. Kruger does a solid job working over the ribs, but is still pretty much just a generic guy with a cool gimmick who Trent is guiding. Kruger hits his finish, now named The Kruger End, for the win. ** TONIGHT: SETH AND JINDER - FACE TO FACE! Match #2: Xavier Woods vs. Memo Montenegro Consequences Creed now gets an actual showcase, so everything is horrible about this since it puts him over. He headlocks it up and blows his fancy "athletic" spots, so he's basically a less flashy Kofi at this point. Creed does a more athletic version of Konnan's somersault into a clothesline spot to win. 3/4* Match #3: Audrey Marie vs. Emma EMMA'S HERE! YES! This isn't amazing since neither is exceptional wrestling-wise, but they work a solid 2 minutes around a body scissors, so I liked this. Audrey wins with a Catatonic. *1/4 In the back, Tony Dawson is supposed to interview Roman Reigns, but he says he was given a press release. He reads it and it says Roman Reigns is a major blue chip prospect, so he has to take a Reigns check on this interview and is busy discussing endorsement deals with his team, and will reschedule this interview. Michael Cole hosts the Face to Face segment with Seth Rollins and Jinder Mahal. It's basically a retread of what they said before the finals of the NXT Title Tournament, so it's not even worth typing out again. Jinder cheap shots Rollins. Match #4: Team Hell No [c] vs. Michael McGillicutty/Johnny Curtis [WWE Tag Team Championship] Joe and Curtis again exist as a blandish heel team to put over an exciting face team, and they do a very good job with it. Bryan gets the best out of both of them, and Kane then Kanes it up. Curtis is now in leather pants, as the transition continues. The best part of this is JR using maycabe to justify this, as Curtis is FINALLY using the Tag Title shot he won by winning NXT Season 4. Holy shit, great work WWE. Curtis taps to the No Lock. **1/4 |
