ECW Television Champion: Rob Van Dam, Since 4/4/1998 - LONGEST REIGNING CURRENT CHAMPION
ECW World Tag Team Champions: Spike Dudley/Balls Mahoney, Since 7/18/1999

ECW Hardcore TV
July 30th, 1999
New Orleans, LA

In the ring, the Dudley Boyz are there and Bubba has the mic. He says if the people don't shut the hell up, he's going home. The people go insane and Bubba challenges everyone in the building before the intro video cuts him off.

Match #1: Spike Dudley/Balls Mahoney [c] vs. The Dudley Boyz [ECW World Tag Team Championship]
This is lesser than the PPV match since it's less insane and more of that kind of held back house show/TV taping vaguely hardcore style that the Dudleys and Rotten Balls were doing for the first six months of the year. There's still some cool stuff, like Balls breaking out a sweet Side Belly to Belly and the debut of Spike's death spot where he gets thrown off the Acid Drop and through a table on the floor. Balls breaks up the 3D with a chair to Bubba and Spike hits D-Von with the Acid Drop on the chair to somehow retain.
**1/4

Post-match, the Dudleys tease fighting, but they high five and hug and all is okay.

In the back, Joey goes over the Dudleys' dominance.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Lance Storm from Hardcore Heaven airs, and Joey says this could be Tommy Dreamer's last match as he's going through with potentially career ending back surgery.

Danny Doring and Roadkill and the newly named Angelica come out for a match, but Sabu runs out and attacks them! Angelica tries to save Doring from the table dive, BUT FONZIE SUPERKICKS HER! HOLY SHIT THAT WAS AMAZING. AND SABU PUTS HER THROUGH THE TABLE INSTEAD. Sabu does RVD's pose and has RVD written on his tape, but Justin Credible slips in and canes him to end the show.

Jerry Lynn beats Jason to open the show, and The Impact Players run out to double team Lynn. He gets the cane shot to the face to take him down after a few to the back. Credible says that's not just the coolest, not just the best, AND THAT'S FROM CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA. Credible then finishes it and says it's just incredible. Lynn is bloodied.

In the ring, Joey Styles introduces the show and brings out the brand new ECW World Tag Team Champions, Balls and Spike. Joey Styles says they have an open challenge tonight in a No DQ Falls Count Anywhere match AND AXL ROTTEN COMES OUT. He looks pissed and I now remember he's been done since May for some reason. Axl puts over the fans and says a few months back they made a promise that if they didn't win the titles, they'd kick the shit out of each other, and he'll live up to that right now. Joey asks who his partner is, AND AXL BRINGS OUT NEW JACK. FUCK YEAH.

Match #1: Spike Dudley/Balls Mahoney [c] vs. Axl Rotten/New Jack [ECW World Tag Team Championship - Falls Count Anywhere]
LUNACY. Everyone bleeds a ton. Weapons get used, and it's all real entertaining for this style. Spike hits the Acid Drop to New Jack through a table and Balls off the top stage to the bottom stage. Balls puts Axl through a flaming table with the Spinebuster, and Axl catches on fire briefly, meaning they rush the pin to end it after that. Balls and Spike retain.
**

New Jack and Axl attack them post-match and Axl kills Balls with a chair shot. They put Spike on a table in the crowd and New Jack comes off the top with the 187 to put him through it.

Coming back from break, Justin Credible is caning D-Von Dudley for some reason, and Jerry Lynn runs out to make the save. He beats on him until Lance Storm comes out to fight him. The Dudley Boyz attack all three before it cuts to Joey Styles in the back to recap things, and he says it was then supposed to be a dream partner six man tag. The Impact Players chose Jerry Lynn, and when the Dudleys refused to pick one, RVD was chosen for them.

It cuts in 15 minutes into the match when RVD and Lynn get in. Also ECW clearly think nobody will notice that fucking Kamala II is standing in the corner next to Credible and not Lance Storm, because they look so similar, I guess. The match must have also been horrible as they cut away from that to post-match. The Dudley Boyz are mad at Joel Gertner for something. Probably removing his neck brace. They hit him with the 3D. End of an era. :(

Match #2: Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Little Guido
Camp Corino and Sal E. Graziano & Tony DeVito of the FBI are on the floor. Tajiri's jaw is all taped up, and he is even madder after Guido slaps him. This whole match is Guido trying to be tough and Tajiri just murdering him. Guido hurts his leg so Tajiri destroys it on top of his usual stuff. Tajiri wins with the Texas Cloverleaf.
**1/2

The FBI gets in to protect Guido, but DeVito turns on Big Sal. Tajiri helps murder Big Sal and Corino asks if they're happy now. He says this is another two victims of stupid hardcore wrestling and asks Tommy Dreamer when it has to end. He points out Tommy and Francine on the stage and Corino says he sits there with his slut and wishes he could be like him, but he's just a mark now like everyone else in the crowd on the other side of the guard rail unable to do anything. And if he could, he'd beat him like at Heatwave! Tommy Dreamer and Francine walk through the crowd and get onto the apron. Tommy has hilarious purple short shorts on. Corino says to get in here and let him pin him like he offered at Heatwave, and he can be the INNOVATOR OF EVERYTHING. Tommy asks if he wants to end his career and be famous. Corino says yeah, and Tommy says they can end his career but he's taking one of them with him. Tommy fights everyone and breaks the Japanese flag on Victory's leg. Tommy and Francine put Victory and Corino in Stereo Figure Fours. BUT TAJIRI SPRAYS GREEN MIST IN FRANCINE'S FACE! YES! TAJIRI KICKS TOMMY IN THE FACE! DeVito brings a table in and they put Tommy on it, BUT TAZ WALKS OUT TO SAVE! Camp Corino scatters to the floor but Tommy holds onto DeVito's leg. He tries to Powerbomb Taz, but he lifts him up and hits the Alabama Slam through the table! Corino has the mic and says he can kill Tony all he wants, but he'll never kill him. BECAUSE HE'S STEVE CORINO. CATCH HIM IF YOU CAN. KEEP THE TITLE IF HE LETS YOU.

The closing angle from last week airs again.

For some reason, they air Jason vs. Jazz from Heatwave in full.

Simon Diamond makes his debut and says Simon has a problem. He needs a tag team partner because of the rules and says lots of stuff. Super Crazy comes out because he's the only one who doesn't speak English, so he's not offended.

Match #1: Chris Chetti/Nova vs. Super Crazy/Simon Diamond
This is a HUGE waste of Super Crazy. But he carries it as far as he can while doing all of his stuff and bumping around pretty well. Chetti has some decent offense, but Nova is still the worst. Diamond keeps referring to himself in the third person, which I'd rather not type because it hurts. Diamond refuses to let Crazy win because he wants to win his debut so he hits him with the three Moonsaults and leaves. Nova and Chetti hit the Faggot Drop after that to win.
**

A video of ECW set to "Living Dead Girl" airs.

A recap of Taz vs. Camp Corino airs. Joey says Tajiri never tapped at Heatwave, but it was stopped. He announced Taz/Tajiri II for the 8/26 TNN taping in Queens.

In a pretape from the void, Taz cuts a promo. He says he can hear the screaming and screeching of Tajiri's voice now, screaming in Japanese for him to release the most vicious hold in the business. He says everybody said he went too far at Heatwave and crossed the line, but he didn't. People ask why he didn't just make him tap in the ring, but Tajiri picked the fight in Queens so he feels the fight should end in Queens. He sent Tajiri a message in Dayton, and in Queens, he finishes it. He says he wonders about Steve Corino's little brain, but he likes his little game they have. And that's real bad for him. The barbed wire deal was nothing and Tajiri is dead in Queens when these hands make him tap out. He tells everyone to put your hand on your throat and squeeze and try and talk, and tells Corino that that's what he's got coming when he chokes the life out of him. You can pull your own hand off your throat, and nobody's pulling his hands off Corino's throat.

A recap of Uganda/Kamala II's squash airs where he finishes with a Flipping Senton. Fairly impressive for a guy that fat.

In the back, Joey Styles announces that the Dudley Boyz have signed with the WWF. Joey says they have fan cam footage from last night in Cleveland, Ohio where the Dudley Boyz regained the ECW Tag Team Championship.

Match #1: Spike Dudley/Balls Mahoney [c] vs. The Dudley Boyz [ECW World Tag Team Championship - Falls Count Anywhere]
This is JIP AS BUBBA HITS A FUCKING POWERBOMB TO SPIKE ON THE LOBBY'S BAR! BUBBA THROWS BEER AT THE CROWD AND YELLS AT THEM. He beats the shit out of Spike in the balcony and yells out to D-Von in the ring and gives a thumbs up. SPIKE HITS THE ACID DROP OFF THE POST AND TO A GUARDRAIL ON THE FLOOR! SPIKE'S CRAZY BALCONY CROSSBODY! THE DUDLEYS ABUSE JIM MOLINEAUX AND HE HITS A DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE ! ALL THESE SHENANIGANS! SING GUY DUDLEY BREAKS THE SIGN ON THE REF TO SAVE THE DUDZ! They toss Spike through the timekeeper's table but then Balls destroys them with chair shots. He puts a table up with thumbtacks on it but gets Powerbombed through it. AND SPIKE GETS HIT WITH THE 3D AND THE DUDLEYS WIN THE TITLES A SEVENTH TIME!
***

In the back, The Dudley Boyz cut a promo. Bubba says in a promotion filled with misfits, in a promotion full of outcasts, you're looking at three brothers from Dudleyville, the biggest misfits and the biggest outcasts this world has ever seen. Goofy guys wearing glasses with tape and tie dyed shirts, but goofy guys who did it their way. They gave their notice and everyone knows the Dudley Boyz are on their way out, but asks if they're gonna do the "right thing" by ECW and for the business. The Public Enemy passed the torch to the Gangstas who passed it to the Eliminators who passed it to Sabu and Van Dam. AND THEY TOOK THE TORCH FROM EVERYBODY. They're not doing the right thing. They're not doing the job. He's not putting anybody over and he ain't putting anybody ever. They're the greatest tag team to ever step foot in an ECW ring and they plan to keep it that way. Now, they're doing something they should have done a hell of a long time ago. They're taking the belts, heading on I95 and heading to the capital of hardcore wrestling, Stamford, CT. They're going in the front door, up the elevator to the top and to the office of the man that means EVERYTHING in professional wrestling. To the office of the man that's going to make them millionaires and let them do whatever they please. To the office of their hero and savior, Vince McMahon. They're going to take the belts and lay them at his feet and give him their souls because the people don't deserve to see the Dudley Boyz here ever again. And if you ever want to see these titles again, all you have to do is tune into Monday Night Raw.

In the back, Cyrus is with the Impact Players. Credible remembers how to talk and says they just became America's most wanted, as everyone's come out of the woodwork to gun for them. Rob Van Dam, Mr. PPV. Jerry Lynn, the New F'N Show. Sabu, the homicidal, suicidal, and genocidal. When they think they're going high, they'll hit them low. When they're ahead, they'll change direction. Lance says everyone asks how you beat 10 guys to take over a company, but they make 10 guys beat themselves. Divide and conquer. Nobody can stop them. That's not just the coolest or the best, but that's just incredible.

Match #2: Rhino vs. Tom Marquez
Good Rhino squash. He wins with a wonderfully unsafe Piledriver.
*1/2

In the back, Jason comes to Camp Corino and wants them to take out Jazz. Corino laughs and Jason hands them some money. Corino sends Rhino away and says he's the man for the job because he's never lost a match, especially not to a girl. He's got the cash and he's going to take out the gash. Victory is happy and Corino says the camera's on, so he goes back to faking in the wheelchair.

In the back, Fonzie is with RVD, who redubs himself Mr. Friday Night and on this show, Mr. Syndication. RVD says this isn't a re-run with him talking about him defending the TV Title because he's had this for decades and it's the longest title reign ever. RVD says he's doing what comes naturally to him and that's smoking the competition. Basically, the Whole Fucking Show.

An RVD music video airs, set to the shitty "Walk" cover. I suppose with the advent of ECW on TNN, this is what HCTV becomes.

Match #3: Jazz vs. Steve Corino w/ Jack Victory & Rhino
Corino bumps around well for her until he stops doing this. Tommy Dreamer and Francine come out to cheer Jazz on and Corino keeps taunting Tommy. Rhino puts up a table in the corner and then Francine and Jazz low blow Corino and Victory. They hit stereo X Factors and somehow pin them. God damnit.
450/Poop x 10

The women leave, but Tajiri comes down to kick Tommy in the head. RED MIST TO THE WOMEN! Tajiri hits Tommy with the Tree of Woe Dropkick and they lay the Japanese flag over Tommy Dreamer. Corino does Tommy's pose and Taz runs out to end the show.

ECW World Tag Team Champions: Spike Dudley/Balls Mahoney, Since 8/14/1999

ECW on TNN
August 27th, 1999

TNN hated the first show ECW tried to produce for them in Toledo, OH, so this first show is ALSO a clip show.

They replay RVD/Lynn from Hardcore Heaven in full.

JOEY STYLES PLUGS ROLLERBALL. I AM GOING TO LOVE THIS SO MUCH.

To hype up the ECW World Title, they list a bunch of past superstars to have been in ECW like Austin, Foley, Simmons, Saturn, Benoit, Rick Steiner, and Konnan. Guess I missed those Benoit, Saturn, and Rick Steiner title matches.

The clip of Shane Douglas throwing down the ECW airs again.

The Taz/Rhino squash from IL over the summer airs again. You'd think they'd show him squashing someone outside of ECW and a little famous here like Candido.

A video on Sabu airs.

Spike Dudley vs. Big Sal from Queens in 98 airs. GIANT KILLER.

In the back, The Impact Players introduce themselves as the sexiest man on Earth, the one man crime spree, and the greatest natural athlete in this sport or any other. Dawn Marie jumps up and down and says she's a star on TNN. Cyrus says he's the man who jacked up the buyrates and drove up the territory. Clips air of them beating up lots of people.

An ECW video airs, set to "Bawitaba".

In a pretape, Taz cuts a promo from the void. He says he's got a list of his own, and it's people who have abandoned ECW or tried to kill ECW who he's choked out. Shane Douglas. Chris Candido. Jerry Lawler. Bam Bam Bigelow. The Dudley Boyz. He does his whole shtick and says he is ECW and welcome to TNN. Then he gets signed within the week, so ECW is losing two of its top acts ever RIGHT after going on national TV. AMAZING.

Still to open the show: "RAVEN HAS LEFT WCW AND WILL RETURN TO THE ECW ARENA SATURDAY NIGHT. HE HAS ALREADY INVADED ECW..."

We cut to the ring for this famous angle where Tommy barely counters the 3D with the Tag Titles on the line. AND FUCKING RAVEN HITS THE RING AND EVENFLOWS BUBBA TO WIN THE TITLES!

Posted Image

Posted Image

THE REST ON THE NEXT ECW ON TNN APPARENTLY!

We cut in after the end of last week's show in OH as Taz hits the ring. Corino flees, AND TAZ HITS THE TAZPLEX THROUGH THE TABLE ON RHINO! Taz gets the mic and says in 7 days, he's gonna dump Tajiri on his head and he will tap out. He says there's not a damn thing he can do about because he's the guy your mother warned you about. Because he's Taz, the World Heavyweight Champion. BEAT HIM IF YOU CAN. SURVIVE IF HE LETS YOU.

Rhino's squash from last week airs again. Okay then.

In the back, Doring and Roadkill introduce Miss Congeniality. She says this guy smells and Doring calms her down and says he's working on a farm all day. Chickens. They walk off to make fuck.

In the back, Camp Corino cuts a promo. Corino says before his time there was a show called Barnaby Jones and he'd come this close every time to catching his man, but when he got that close, the bad guys ould run him off the road yell "DIE! YOU SON OF A GUN!" Case and point, they must be THIS close, because he can't believe what Tommy Dreamer did to Jack Victory. He says he almost got crippled like Christopher Reeve, but Jack Victory is his Superman. He says Taz tried to put out the hottest rookie in professional wrestling and Tommy Dreamer and Taz and Super Crazy are all running for the Japanese Buzzsaw. Because they're THIS close and sooner, not later, they're going to be on top in ECW.

Match #1: Yoshihiro Tajiri [2] vs. Super Crazy [5] [Best of Forever Series - Match #8]
This ruled and was their best match. Still just a bunch of spots, but now the spots are even better. Tajiri now being super aggressive has brought him to another level where he's now clearly the best wrestler in the company. Corino and Victory come out to interfere during this. They both have big dives and Tajiri is super stiff again. Corino accidentally hits Victory on the floor, but it causes a distraction that lets Tajiri spray green mist at Crazy. He then hits a Basement Dropkick and the Brainbuster to win.
***

Match #2: The Dudley Boyz [c] vs. Spike Dudley/Balls Mahoney [ECW World Tag Team Championship]

ANOTHER AWESOME BRAWL! Spike does his dive again, this time off a ladder to the floor. Lots of bleeding and crazy fighting. This crowd brawl was awesome, although not as creative as their last match. Balls and Spike do some fun concession stand brawl stuff and D-Von vs. Balls in the ring rules. They build up a stacked table bump off the apron super well throughout, AND THE DUDLEYS LIGHT BOTH TABLES ON FIRE AND POWERBOMB SPIKE OFF THE APRON THROUGH THEM! D-VON ACCIDENTALLY KNOCKS BUBBA OFF THE APRON THOUGH AND BALLS HITS THE NUTCRACKER SUITE TO REGAIN THE BELTS!
***

Dudleys get full on mocking goodbye chants, getting to be the two exiting wrestlers not sent out with positivity. Fuck yeah.

ECW on TNN
September 3rd, 1999
Queens, NY

Match #1: Taz [c] vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri w/ Steve Corino, Jack Victory, & Rhino [ECW World Heavyweight Championship]

This is only four minutes, but it was really awesome. Taz throws a lot of Suplexes to show off on TV, and Tajiri gets some awesome kicks and shots in between them. Taz wins with the Tazmission after avoiding a spin kick.
**

In the ring, Joey Styles does his intro. Joel Gertner comes out, now back in a neck brace, and he's standing in the presence of the man who is the now no longer unnamed TNN color commentator! YES! It is he, Joel "I'm Just Like Rubik's Cube, The More You Play With It, The Harder It Gets" Gertner! Joey brings out their guest, Jerry Lynn. He says he's not here to waste time on a boring promo like on Monday nights. He says they'll continue to show everyone the difference between ECW and WWF and WCW on Friday nights. He calls out RVD to bring his title down right now and give everyone the best match in wrestling. Fonzie comes out and says he won't get a title match tonight so Jerry hits him. RVD comes out to save and they have a really terrible brawl since neither can throw a punch. They get pulled apart anyways.

In the back, Joel announces RVD/Lynn III for next week on TNN.

Match #1: Spike Dudley/Balls Mahoney [c] vs. The Dudley Boyz [ECW World Tag Team Championship]
Why the fuck does ECW keep giving them title matches if they're leaving? Joey says this is their last show. This isn't on the level of their July/August matches, since it's only ten minutes and kind of held back for what comes after the match. Still, Spike takes a bunch of crazy bumps, and they redo the end of the Cleveland match with the thumbtack Powerbomb, and then the 3D beats Spike.
**1/4

In the back, Joey announces Taz vs. Masato Tanaka for Anarchy Rulz.

A Lance Storm hype video airs.

ROLLERJAM PLUG.

The Dudley Boyz go back to the ring and Bubba gets on the mic. He says in ECW, men become heroes, but in the WWF, heroes become legends! AND LEGENDS BECOME GODS. And if God was a heel, he'd be the Dudley Boyz. So before they take these belts and jump in I-95 and go to the TRUE capitol of hardcore wrestling Stamford, there's one more thing they've gotta do. He says now that they've beaten ECW, they're going to ruin ECW and suck the life, blood, the soul, and the backbone of ECW right out and something they should have finished a long time ago. He calls out Tommy Dreamer to defend this miserable company that he broke his stinkin' back for. They start plugging Raw as Tommy is restrained by Paul and Francine on the floor. Bubba talks about crippling Beulah and says as that poor girl laid in the hospital paralyzed from the neck down, they taught her all about a double team. They insult Francine too, so Tommy hits the ring.

Match #3: The Dudley Boyz [c] vs. Tommy Dreamer [ECW World Tag Team Championship]
Solid 4 minute set up to an angle. Tommy uses weapons and dick shots to cover up for him being crippled. A few cool spots, and Bubba has a really nice Saito Suplex, which is really innovative for 1984. As we saw to open the last HCTV, RAVEN HITS THE RING FROM NOWHERE AND EVENFLOWS BUBBA TO WIN THE BELTS.

In the ring, Joey Styles hypes up Anarchy Rulz and introduces Taz for an interview. He announces that FMW sent Masato Tanaka to challenge him and he knows he's one bad mother fucker. Clips air of Tanaka's 1998 ECW run. Taz says he's got a real hard head, but he'll need that hard head because he's gonna dump him on his fucking head. And then when he's done, he's gonna hook on the most feared hold in the business and he's going to tap out. He's not a 50 year old champion wearing yellow and black and red and white and it's 2000, not 1989. It's 1999 actually. He challenges Triple H to try the ECW Champion and see how he fares. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HILARIOUS IN RETROSPECT. He says people say he's too stiff and says Masato Tanaka isn't going to go bitch to Paul E, and that's what he wants. He then calls out some stupid mutant and shits on him. BEAT HIM IF YOU CAN. SURVIVE IF HE LETS YOU.

A clip airs of the first Raven/Tommy match in 1995.

Match #1: Uganda vs. Tom Marquez
I kind of love the novelty of a guy who looks just like Kamala but breaks out fat man athletics. Flipping Senton ends it.
*3/4

He hits a Splash post-match.

Clips air of Tommy hitting Beulah with the Piledriver.

Match #2: Balls Mahoney vs. Axl Rotten
They finally have their match. This is about what you'd expect. They stab each other with scissors and bottles and New Jack comes out to make this a three way too, so it's just a blast. Balls eliminates New Jack with the Nutcracker Suite, and Axl starts murdering Balls with unprotected chair shots. He kicks out of five in a row, so Axl puts a trash can over his head and hits a final one to win.
**1/4

They hug post-match.

A Raven/Tommy video airs from May 95, set to "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Still up there with the best ECW videos along with the November Rain stuff, and the Shane Douglas "Villains" one from 98.

Clips then air of the finger breaking.

Clips air of Beulah's fake pregnancy announcement.

Clips air of Tommy finally beating Raven.

In the ring, Camp Corino is there. Steve Corino says someone here is the most overrated wrestler of all time and a pathetic excuse for a man, AND HE'S TALKING ABOUT YOSHIHIRO TAJIRI. NO. Tajiri just raises his arm up, not understanding. Corino says he promised the people and the world that he would defeat Taz and bring him the World Heavyweight Title, and he failed. Corino yells that he hates Chinese good and there's too much MSG and they put too much starch in his shirts and they've ruined convenience stores too. Corino is the best. He slaps Tajiri who now gets it. Rhino and Jack Victory come to protect Corino, and Super Crazy comes in! AND TAJIRI KICKS HIM IN THE HEAD! They bury him under the Japanese flag and Corino now says the greatest wrestlers come from Japan and the worst wrestlers come from Mexico. They shake hands and Joey says it was a trap BUT SUPER CRAZY DIVES ON THEM ON THE FLOOR AND THE MATCH IS ON!

Match #3: Yoshihiro Tajiri [3] vs. Super Crazy [5] [Best of Forever Series - Match #9]
This is only like 5-6 minutes, but was awesome as always. Tajiri broke out some new ways to kick Super Crazy really hard in the face, and Crazy's stuff was all perfect again. Tajiri does his Asai Moonsault and then tries to hit Straw Hat Fan with a chair, further becoming the GOAT ECW wrestler. It ends abruptly of course, as Super Crazy hits a Spiral Bomb for the win. Still, real good.

The show opens with Raven's return from last week.

Match #1: Super Crazy vs. Rhino w/ Steve Corino & Jack Victory
Pretty fun sub five minute match. Rhino does cool power stuff and Crazy flies around everywhere. Rhino goes for his Powerbomb, but Crazy blocks into a Huracanrana for the win.
**1/4

Corino yells at Rhino and Super Crazy gets ready to help, but it's another trap. Rhino hits him with a Powerbomb.

They air Tanaka/Awesome from Heatwave 98 to build up to his return at Anarchy Rulz to challenge Taz. At least they're finally building a PPV match.

Match #2: Rob Van Dam [c] w/ Bill Alfonso vs. Jerry Lynn [ECW Television Championship]
This wasn't as great as Living Dangerously, but it was more coherent and better than Hardcore Heaven. They only got like 13 minutes so there was no real wasting of time. There was a good amount of shitty cliched standoff and roll up stuff, but the other stuff was all good. They had some cool counters to spots in previous matches, which I always adore. RVD's backflip chair dropkick spot actually looked organic for once, so I'm inclined to call this great just because of how impressive that is. That spot's been AWFUL for years. They keep going stuff and The Impact Players hit the ring and attack both guys for a no contest.
***

Lance hits Lynn with the Cradle Piledriver, and Credible hits RVD with That's Incredible. Lance gets on the mic and says these guys thought they'd have some impact and thought they were closing the show. They're closing the show, because they're the Impact Players. That's just incredible, etc.

Before the opener, Danny Doring says he's tired of losing and if they don't win tonight, he'll shave off his hair and their team will split. Lita interferes like 30 seconds into the match, and Jazz comes out to even it up, so it becomes a six person intergender tag.

Match #1: Danny Doring/Roadkill/Ms. Congeniality vs. Chris Chetti/Nova/Jazz
This is punishment for something I've done. Has to be. They do lots of stuff and Roadkill hits his Flying Legdrop on Jazz. Lita covers to win.
*1/2

Masato Tanaka vs. Mike Awesome from Queens in summer '98 is re-aired.

Clips of the Raven return air, and Joey theorizes that Raven probably wasn't a big fan of what the Dudley Boyz did to Beulah either. Tommy Dreamer has his first ECW Championship, but he has to share it with the guy he hates more than anybody else in the world.

An exclusive clip airs of The Dudley Boyz raising Tommy's hands after the title switch.

Tommy Dreamer and Francine come out to the ring, and Tommy gets on the mic. He says he's supposed to come out here and do something, but he's got to speak his mind right now. He says at ECW's first ever pay-per-view Barely Legal, power went out five seconds after the show ended. People at TNN didn't want to take the chance of that happening again, and Paul E promised TNN that he'd get backup generators. TNN said the fans in Philadelphia are a little bit spoiled and they see a lot and the fans in New York are better. TNN knows their shit. FUCK PHILADELPHIA. Tommy says he was born in New York and he lives in New York, but he made a career in Philadelphia. He says the ECW Fucking Arena should be on TNN. Tommy says to forget about this city war because they're all the best, but it's time to get on with business. He says this is not a retirement angle, he's legitimately suffering with two herniated discs in his back, and tonight he's finally going to make a decision, AND STEVE CORINO, RHINO, AND JACK VICTORY COME OUT! Corino says he has quite a dilemma and responds to chants by saying this isn't on TNN, so they don't matter. Corino says Tommy cannot defend his half of the World Tag Team Titles and disappoint everyone, but he won't do that because he's just as big a mark as they are. Or he can risk his life and career and defend the titles and his people will be happy. He says he's got a better solution for him, and says he might like this. HE CAN LAY DOWN FINALLY, AND TO PROTECT TOMMY'S BACK, HE WON'T HOOK HIS LEG THIS TIME! Corino says he'll defend his half of the World Tag Team Titles. Tommy goes to DDT him, but Rhino clotheslines him. AND CORINO CLOTHESLINES FRANCINE! Jack Victory comes in with a trash can and the bell rings. Corino hits Tommy with the trash can at Victory's insistence and Jack then brings barbed wire in. He wraps Tommy in barbed wire AND CORINO SETS FOR A CHAIR SHOT TO THE BACK, BUT RAVEN RUNS OUT TO SAVE! RAVEN EVENFLOWS CORINO AND GETS A THREE COUNT BECAUSE THAT WAS A MATCH I GUESS.

Philadelphia, PA

In the back, Cyrus says the ban on Sabu has been lifted! AND HE'S GOING TO FACE JUSTIN CREDIBLE FINALLY! YEAH! He's with Fonzie and he says Justin Credible's life is in danger and he crossed the line and payback's this Sunday and it's his ass getting kicked and it's a bitch, daddy.

TONIGHT: RVD/LYNN

FUCKING PN NEWS COMES OUT TO THE RING AND DOES A RAP ABOUT HOW PHILLY SUCKS. YO BABY YO BABY YO

Match #1: Spike Dudley vs. PN News
Your classic Giant Killer Spike Dudley 20 second squash to get that over to the TNN audience, theoretically. Dick kick and Acid Drop wins it.
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHWAY TO HELL

An ambulance is outside and Joey yells that there's been some kind of an incident.

Tajiri vs. Super Crazy from this taping that aired on HCTV last week is shown here.

In a pretape, Raven cuts a promo over footage of Raven/Tommy angles. He says for two and a half years, they fought an epic battle of mythic proportions. A friendship based on love and a hatred based on friendship. He scarred his face and battered him unmercifully AND HE TOOK HIS GIRL. But the one thing he could never do was beat him and he always pinned him for two and a half years. Tommy finally graduated after two and a half years and he gave Tommy his victory. For two more years, he stayed away and without him, Tommy's life lost its meaning and his career lost purpose and his relationship with Beulah lost its foundation. He lost his focus and he lost the girl. He says the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. But he exists. And he's going to be Tommy's own personal demon, because he's already been crucified for Tommy's sins. Quote the Raven. Nevermore.

Lance Storm and Dawn Marie come out and Bob Artese announces this match for the TV Title. Joey yells that Jerry Lynn was in the ambulance and Lance Storm is taking the shot. Why not fucking show that then? RVD comes out for the match, but it's an angle. This goes maybe half a minute before Justin Credible runs out and canes the ref and RVD. Jerry Lynn runs out with his ribs taped up, getting out of the ambulance, and he saves. Johnny Smith from AJPW is randomly here and he comes to help the Impact Players. They hit their catchphrases and pose over RVD and Lynn.

Coming back, RVD and Lynn are in the ring and RVD gets a mic. He says when these people pay to watch RVD, they get their money's worth and he calls Lynn over and says to let him kick his ass some more tonight, so the match is happening after all.

Match #2: Rob Van Dam [c] w/ Bill Alfonso vs. Jerry Lynn [ECW Television Championship]
Hey, this is great again. It's kind of amazing how all their matches are great in 1999 EXCEPT the one people claim is head and shoulders above all the others. This is about as good as the one from last week, but with an actual finish, so maybe just a bit better. Some cool new spots yet again. Lynn sold his ribs fine enough for my liking. He took a bump through the timekeeper's table and teased being taken to the back, but then came back for stuff. He blocked some of RVD's more contrived and overly set up moves, and Fonzie had to actually interfere to save the belt by throwing a chair at Lynn. He then got out of the way of the Frog Splash, but RVD caught him picking up the chair and hit the Van Daminator to win.
***

They shake hands post-match.

In the back, Joey and Gertner announce some matches for Anarchy Rulz. RVD vs. Johnny Smith for the TV Title, Jerry Lynn vs. Lance Storm, Tajiri/Crazy/Guido again, and Steve Corino's mystery tag team vs. Raven & Dreamer!

In the back, Fonzie is with Sabu. He says Credible got Sabu suspended and he still came after him, so they got him banned from wrestling in the US. The ban's lifted and his ass is getting kicked and whoever buys the pay per view are gonna see the biggest ass kicking any one man has ever received and Justin Credible's gonna get a beating deserving of that ban by the most suicidal, homicidal, genocidal athlete in the world today. The most violent man in wrestling. Whistle.

In the back, The Impact Players cut a promo. Lance says Anarchy Rulz is the biggest pay per view in ECW history and when the chips are down, they need a home run. And who do they turn to? The Impact Players. Three out of the four main event matches, including their friend Johnny Smith. He's going to beat Jerry Lynn like always and as for Sabu, it's out of the frying pan and into the fire. Credible says he's scared for his life and what he'll do. He's scared of the chairs and petrified of the tables, but his back's against the wall. I liked it better when he didn't talk. CATCHPHRASES.

A Justin Credible hype video then airs, set to his theme.

The Raven promo in the classroom from January '95 airs.

More clips of the Raven/Tommy angles including the chairshot, Cactus' turn, and Double Dog Collar.

Dudleys vs. Tommy/Raven airs in full.

RVD vs. Lance and then Lynn from TNN airs.

The ending moments of Tanaka/Awesome from Heatwave close the show.

ECW ANARCHY RULZ 1999
SEPTEMBER 19TH, 1999
VILLA PARK, IL

This is the DVD version, so there's no entrances. It's basically just a PWG show, except with worse wrestling.

Match #1: Jerry Lynn vs. Lance Storm w/ Dawn Marie
This is good, but also really flawed. Their actual moves are all super crisp, but this is psychologically all over the place. Lynn has taped up ribs still and sells them like half the time. I'd yell about it, but Lance Storm only actually targets them about ten percent of the time, starting from his first attack on them early on in a 16 minute match. I want to love this pairing, but they just refuse to use any kind of fucking logic, and it's not all Lynn. He was actually better than Lance here, selling his ribs on his own near the end. Lance got a knee to the gut and a cradle to win.
**1/2

In the ring, Simon Diamond says that Simon has a problem. He says he needs a tag team partner and tells Tom Marquez to be his partner. He gets on the apron and Simon says he didn't say Simon Says, so he can sit back down. He says no man in the back wants to be Simon's partner, so Jazz comes out. He says he didn't say Simon Says AND she's a woman. She says she's here to prove himself and Simon says all women are is T & A and he can take her flat chest and her ghetto booty. He makes Tom Marquez fight Jazz and she gets the dick claw. Tony Devito runs in to save, but then Nova and Chris Chetti come down for a tag match.

Match #2: Chris Chetti/Nova vs. Simon Diamond/Tony DeVito
This is a horrible mess. Chetti hurts his knee on the floor and Nova vs. Diamond is AWFUL. DeVito fucks up a Side Effect. This is dying a horrible death, so Doring and Roadkill come out to interfere and it stops being a match thankfully.
Tiger Conway Jr.

They hit Jazz with the Hart Attack too to continue that. Roadkill goes up top, but the jobbers including CW Anderson, Rod Price, Angel, Vito, etc. all come out to stop it. Why? Why is any of this happening on a show people paid for? OH NEVERMIND THAT SHIT. NEW JACK IS HERE AND KILLS EVERYONE. YEAH. He especially targets other bald people because FUCK THEM. He leaves with Nova for some reason. I don't understand why New Jack is letting him live.

Match #3: Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Super Crazy vs. Little Guido w/ Sal E. Graziano [Three Way Dance]
This is the best version of this match up yet. Guido stays out of the way mostly and exists for the other two to do moves and dive onto, and then Crazy eliminates him with a Moonsault. Tajiri vs. Super Crazy is then amazing AGAIN and they get a final 5 minutes all to themselves. Tajiri hits the Buzzsaw Kick and then a Basement Dropkick, and then he hits the Brainbuster right after for the win.
***

In the back, Steve Corino is standing by. He says on Friday night it was announced that he had a mystery tag team. He says that tag team was going to be the ICP from Monday nights and they used to hang out with Raven, but on Friday their manager called ECW and when they found out they were going to wrestle Raven and Tommy Dreamer, they refused to come because they knew they were going to lose. So he's in a bad spot because he has to deliver and like the great man and mind he is, he's going to give the people a title match. Tommy Dreamer and Raven will wrestle HE AND HIS MAN RHINO!

Before the match, Justin Credible gets on the mic and says he's filed a restraining order against Sabu! The referee saws this is Anarchy Rulz and laws don't apply here! So why not just murder Sabu? He refuses, and then canes Bob Artese for trying to announce the match.

Match #4: Sabu vs. Justin Credible
Fonzie and Jason are there. This is an awesome match and a total Sabu showcase. He does a Sabu match basically and Credible just is a warm body in there. He does great variations of usual stuff to get over how much he wants to kill Sabu and they have some cool counters with chair and table spots. Sabu is the master of little things to sell how chaotic a fight is, the best being when he pulls half of a broken table onto the back of Credible's head to break a cover after being put through it. They have a fight over a Tombstone, and Credible hits one on a chair to win clean. Fuck this company. How many legends have to lose before people give a shit about him? Basically all of them.
***

Masato Tanaka and Taz come out for the title match and they're the first US match to get the streamer treatment. Everyone chants that Taz sold out because he's leaving. Before the bell, Taz gets the mic and calls out someone in the crowd to come over, AND IT'S MIKE AWESOME WITH JUDGE JEFF JONES. YEAH! Taz says his beef's with him now and says to come get some. Paul E tries to calm Awesome down but Taz keeps calling him out and says he'll choke him out. Paul asks if he wants to fight two men, and Taz says yes, so Paul books a three way dance!

Match #5: Taz [c] vs. Masato Tanaka vs. Mike Awesome w/ Judge Jeff Jones [ECW World Heavyweight Championship - Three Way Dance]
YEAH. ALL RULED. Taz is out two minutes into this in a huge shocker, as Tanaka floors him with an elbow and Awesome hits a Flying Splash and they both covered. Taz left as the roster came out to watch on the ramp. Awesome and Tanaka then got to kill each other for 11 minutes and they had a Mike Awesome vs. Masato Tanaka match. You know the deal. Lots of big moves in a row and weapons and kickouts going on. Awesome hits a Powerbomb off the top through a table in the middle and he wins the belt.
***

Taz comes back out, and he hands Awesome the title. They shake hands and he raises Awesome's arm before leaving. On the ramp, Taz and Paul hug and everyone now chants for Taz as everyone hugs him on the way out. He points to Mike Awesome, and everyone chants for Mike Awesome as Taz leaves.

After the cut, Joel Gertner is with Tommy Dreamer and Francine in the ring. Gertner says he has a certain amount of loathing and dislike for him, but also some respect, and asks about the titles and his back injury. He says he was at Wrigley Field last night and saw Sammy Sosa hit #60 and as sick as this may sound, there's a reason why Sammy goes out and performs, because the people pay for his salary. Also steroids. He says he's sick and tired of listening to doctors telling him what he needs to do, and he doesn't need explosions or pyro or any of that glitzy shit because he's Tommy Dreamer. He needs to sweat, bleed, and innovate some violence in Chicago tonight. Steve Corino, Rhino, and Jack Victory come out and Corino says he's had it up to here with him and if he wants to bleed, he'll make him bleed, and he sics Rhino on him.

Match #6: Raven/Tommy Dreamer [c] vs. Steve Corino/Rhino [ECW World Tag Team Championship]
Francine and Jack Victory are outside the ring. Tommy is out there by himself for the entirety of this and Francine hits Victory with a chair. Raven comes out finally to save Tommy from Rhino's Piledriver, and he hits him with the Evenflow. Victory gets in to replace him since ECW, and Raven and Tommy shove each other finally, but then immediately hit Stereo DDTs for the win.
*1/2

After a recap in the back, Axl Rotten is in the ring and on the mic. He puts over the show and says they saw a new World Heavyweight Champion in Mike Awesome. He says he's not the best "worker" in the business but he can bleed like a bitch and he's letting it be known that he's calling out Mike Awesome for the first title shot. He asks if he's got the balls, but The Impact Players and Johnny Smith come out. Lance Storm says he can appreciate him wanting to make his mark, but this PPV belongs to the Impact Players. They're already two for two and his friend Johnny Smith will make it three for three. Lance says to rescind that challenge or they'll do it for him so he attacks them. Balls Mahoney and Spike Dudley come out to save. DAWN MARIE EATS THE ACID DROP! BALLS RUNS OFF LANCE AND JUSTIN WITH A CHAIR AND HITS SMITH PRETTY WEAKLY! YEAH PULLED CHAIR SHOTS! He's dead though because his shit is weak, so Balls says he'll take his place.

Match #7: Rob Van Dam [c] w/ Bill Alfonso vs. Balls Mahoney [ECW Television Championship]
These two work well together as always, but it probably didn't need 20 minutes. It also should never have main evented given that nobody really thinks Balls has a shot or that this is more than an RVD showcase. They sold on commentary that RVD prepared for a totally different style of match, but nobody told RVD and Balls about this idea, since RVD treats it like his usual showcase. RVD wins with the Van Daminator.

In the ring, Joey and Gertner bring out Tommy Dreamer and Francine to open the show. Joey blows Tommy for wrestling with injury. Gertner says he knows Francine thinks she brings a lot to the table as the Queen of Extreme, but he knows a girl in the back who is much better than her, who is pure and chaste and virginal and has seen about 850 less hotel room ceilings, and brings out Ms. Congeniality. She and Francine fight and Doring and Roadkill fight Tommy, and a tag title match breaks out for thirty seconds.

Match #1: Raven/Tommy Dreamer [c] vs. Danny Doring/Roadkill [ECW World tag Team Championship]
Raven comes out and Evenflows Doring as Tommy DDTs Roadkill and they get a double pin.
1/2*

Raven gives Tommy the belt as he tries to get up, and kicks him in the head before leaving.

After the break, Tommy Dreamer is in the ring and he calls Raven out to the ring to settle this. He comes out but then immediately turns around and leaves.

NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER 1999: NOVEMBER 7TH!

Lots of Anarchy Rulz recap stuff, including the ECW Title match through when Taz got pinned.

Match #2: Super Crazy vs. Little Guido w/ Sal E. Graziano
Blegh. This was like 80% Little Guido offense, so stuff just kind of happened for no reason and it was boring as shit while he ate Super Crazy alive. Crazy had an awesome Tornado DDT to come back, and then used Tajiri's Brainbuster and his style of cover too for the win. THE FEUD CONTINUES.
**1/4

Sal jumps Super Crazy, and Spike Dudley runs out for an impromptu match.

Match #3: Spike Dudley vs. Sal E. Graziano
Dick kick. Acid Drop. Pin.
GIANT RAPIST

In the ring, The Impact Players have attacked Jerry Lynn, and RVD runs out to save. Johnny Smith comes out to help them and he attacks RVD. AND THE LIGHTS GO OUT. SABU. He hits all the heels and then gets in RVD's face. Lynn attacks Sabu from behind and then the heels attack him. Fonzie stops RVD and Sabu from fighting, and RVD accidentally hits Sabu, so Sabu hits him back. SABU PUTS CREDIBLE THROUGH THE TABLE BRIDGE ON THE OUTSIDE. There's a big ruckus after a backstage recap that's an obvious clip, AND NEW JACK COMES OUT TO KILL BALD PEOPLE AGAIN.

To end the show, they show Taz handing the belt to Awesome.

In the back, Joey Styles says that Raven and Tommy Dreamer were pulled apart in the back and Tommy will wrestle tonight.

Match #1: Mike Awesome [c] vs. Rhino [ECW World Heavyweight Championship]
Judge Jeff Jones and Corino are on the floor. Awesome basically runs through Rhino for four minutes, but there were a lot of really fun power spots and spots with Awesome flying around. He tosses Rhino over the top and through a table on the floor with the Awesome Bomb, and rolls him back in to hit a Flying Splash for the win.
**

It's supposed to be a Spike Dudley vs. Sal E. Graziano rematch, but in like fifteen seconds, Little Guido runs out to attack and takes his place.

Match #2: Spike Dudley vs. Little Guido w/ Sal E. Graziano
This happened. Guido does stuff. Spike is okay, but isn't about to carry anything. Spike hits Sal with the Acid Drop onto Guido and covers Guido as he's trapped for the win.
**

In the back, Joey and Gertner say that Tommy has told Raven to stop interfering in his matches, and they announce Tajiri as Tommy's opponent tonight.

NEXT WEEK: TAMMY LYNN SYTCH IS BACK

A RVD hype video airs set to his music.

Match #3: Danny Doring/Roadkill w/ Ms. Congeniality vs. CW Anderson/Bill Whiles
YEAH CW! Fun little showcase for Doring and Roadkill as they continue to improve. Wiles gets beat after a Flying Splash from Roadkill.
*1/2

Match #4: Tommy Dreamer vs. Tajiri

Francine and Camp Corino are on the floor. Dreamer is in (different) street clothes here for some reason. Fun little TV match, but clearly not the best they can do. Although with Tommy's back, it might have been the most they could do. Tajiri takes some big shots and takes the majority of the punishment to save Tommy, and then has some great stuff at the end. Corino pulls the ref out, but Francine hits him with the Pedigree and it's basically the worst. Raven then comes out and Evenflows Tommy. YEAH, EAT SHIT. Tajiri then hits the Basement Dropkick for the win.

A Mike Awesome highlight video opens the show.

In the back, Fonzie and RVD are standing by. Fonzie asks who else is from Michigan, and RVD says he is. Fonzie says he means Sabu, daddeh. RVD says Sabu can speak for himself, but he's tired of splitting it right down the middle. Fonzie asks why, and RVD says people want to hear from their favorite wrestler and they want to see Rob Van Dam.

Match #1: Danny Doring/Roadkill w/ Ms. Congeniality vs. Nova/Jazz
Another decent Doring and Roadkill showcase. Doing is starting to cut out some of the more ridiculous bullshit, and it means his matches are worlds better. Nova has a shockingly good dive too. Lita gets Jazz with a low blow that she sells because she has a dick, and Roadkill hits a Running Powerslam for the win.
*3/4

Match #2: Rhino w/ Steve Corino & Jack Victory vs. Christopher Daniels

This is from the ECW Arena over the summer, but it's a solid Rhino showcase. Daniels is good already. Daniels tries to stick and move, but because this isn't about him, he fails. Rhino has some good stuff and so does Daniels. Victory distracts the ref and Corino comes in and Superkicks Daniels. Rhino then hits a Powerbomb for the win.
**1/4

Spike Dudley comes out and randomly just kicks Rhino in the dick and hits the Acid Drop and gets a pin. That's not fair at all, Rhino didn't even do anything to him or issue a challenge.

The ECW World Title history video airs again.

Match #3: Jerry Lynn vs. Super Crazy
Awesome match. Jerry's ribs are still taped up, so that's an actual focus because Super Crazy is somehow the best guy psychologically in ECW. Lynn sells it very well, to his credit, so it's not ALL Crazy here, which is a little shocking. Crazy stretches it out, uses midsection based attacks, and goes to the ribs to escape stuff. Lynn sells it after all his offense so he comes off as gutsy instead of just a dude, and he wins with the Cradle Piledriver. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Before Storm/Candido, Lance gets on the mic and calls Candido and Tammy has-beens and says they need to revert to their old habits and take a powder. Candido says to make them, and Dawn Marie calls Tammy a whore and it's a shitty pull apart before the intro.

Match #1: David Kash vs. Tom Marquez
This is all of 30-40 seconds before Rhino and Steve Corino come out in Falcons jerseys, AND RHINO GORES KID KASH AND DEBUTS THAT! GORE ON MARQUEZ TOO!
45/Poop*

Steve Corino gets the mic and says he hears they have two famous players from the New Orleans Saints here. Rhino says he came to kick some ass and he's gonna kick the shit out of both of them. He goes after them in the first row, and it's Kyle Turley and Josh Wilcox. Security pulls them apart and Tommy Dreamer comes out to calm the Saints down. Corino says Tommy Dreamer has to save the day for a stupid football player. He says he would destroy Tommy Dreamer, so the ref who's still here rings the bell!

Match #2: Tommy Dreamer vs. Steve Corino w/ Rhino
Francine comes out too as this starts and Dreamer throws Corino all over the building. Corino makes this work with some awesome bumps. For once, Tommy actually gets knocked off the bleacher railing to the floor, but the camera doesn't catch the fall apart from a real far away shot. Corino actually gets to do a lot here and they sell it as him actually being good suddenly. His ass gets exposed and he works like 2-3 minutes with it and takes a chair to the ass. The ref warns Corino about using a chair for some reason, so Corino hits him. Tommy is a dick and uses the Tarantula, so Tajiri obviously comes out to interfere. He runs Francine to the back, but Raven comes out. He hits Tajiri with the Evenflow, and Tommy hits one on Jack Victory when he comes out. RAVEN THEN HITS TOMMY WITH THE EVENFLOW AGAIN! The ref does a slow count for Corino, but Tommy rolls into his own cover and the ref counts much quicker to give Tommy the win. TREACHERY IS AFOOT.
**3/4

Raven gets out of the corner and applauds as Tommy is on the mat.

In the back, Fonzie is with Sabu and hypes him up and says someone is going to get victimized on TNN soon.

Match #3: Lance Storm vs. Chris Candido
The women are there, and Tammy has not been kind to herself since she's been gone. This is their usual movefest, but they have a lot of cool counters and spots and it's not real long, so I can handle it a lot more than Lynn/Storm. Candido hits an awesome Superplex and Diving Headbutt, but Credible and Jason come out to save. CATFIGHT, etc. Credible canes Candido, and Lance hits the Cradle Piledriver for the win.
**1/2

Match #4: Mike Awesome [c] vs. Rod Price [ECW World Heavyweight Championship]

Judge Jeff Jones and Price's new manager, THE RAJUN CAJUN, are on the floor. This is another Awesome squash that it aws -- AWE INSPIRING. FUCK YOU. He hit Rod with the Awesome Bomb through a table in the ring, and then kills his manager with one over the top through a table on the floor. Awesome finishes Rod Price with the Awesome Splash.

PULP FICTION ON TNN:
-The Impact Players are here. Dawn MArie jumps up and down and says she's a star. Lance says the more people they run off, the more impact they make. They have to get rid of Tommy and Raven too, to make an impact. Justin drops the catchphrase.
-Devito, Angel, and Skull Von Krush yell that they're Da Baldies
-Raven is on Bourbon Street at 5:30 am. He says there's debauchery and decadence all around him and as he looks at the wave of people following him, sinners each one, he realizes that it's better to have a condemned soul than to have no soul at all
-Ms. Congeniality clips her toenails, and it bothers Doring while he's cutting a promo. He says Chris Chetti didn't listen because he told him to double cross Nova, but he didn't listen. Now he's laid out and hurt and they set him up. Nova is all alone now, and now he's going to do what they tell him to do and if he doesn't then they're going to lay him up in a hospital bed next to Chetti. Doring and Lita go to make the fuck, and Roadkill says CHICKEEEEEENS
-Raven says to look at these fools following him. He says these are Tommy's people and for all their sins and problems and hatreds, he feels Tommy's pain.
-Balls and Axl are back together and Axl says this is the predominant tag team in ECW and the hottest and most extreme tag team, and challenge anyone to test them.
-Spike Dudley waves
-Da Baldies introduce themselves again
-New Jack is in the parking lot and says when he was five years old, he watched his daddy shoot his momma while she carried him in her arms and at that point, he made a decision in his life. Give him the opportunity, or he'll take it.
-RVD says it's november again and everybody's counting on their favorite wrestler to defend his belt, and asks Fonzie who he's wrestling.
-Jerry Lynn says that in his two years in ECW, he didn't let a broken foot, pelvic bone, and he sure as hell won't let broken ribs stop him. Steve Corino walks by and says to stop his whining and work hurt like everyone else. He leaves and Lynn says he doesn't take shit. He goes to find him, but when he charges, TAJIRI COMES OUT OF NOWHERE WITH A KICK TO THE RIBS AND THEN THE HEAD. YEAH. Corino says he's not quite the hardcore hero now.
-Raven says this is it and says this is his home now. Sinners, one and all, and nobody cares or worries. He mocks Tommy's babyface bullshit and says it's crap. They don't care about anyone, they just want to leech onto their stardom. He's lived his life and he deserves everything he gets.
-RVD tells Fonzie to book him against Sabu
-New Jack says he ain't gonna left no weights to get back in fighting shape. No, he's gonna commit some crime and run from the police to get in shape.
-Tajiri says stuff in Japanese and cackles
-New Jack says he knows nothing but hardcore violence and beating ass until he gets tired, and says he's on a mission
-RVD says it doesn't matter who he fights because he always wins and gives the fans what they pay to see, Mr. PPV. He says it doesn't matter who Fonzie gets, because he's the Whole Fucking Show.
