Level One Writer Posts: 394 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: December 7, 2007	Sooooooo, I really want to jump in to another IC thread with someone. Anyone else itching to write? I'll happily plunge into more than one thread if there is enough interest! Currently I have three characters running around the fort that need something to do: Duran, Avirly, and Jade. Duran will talk with just about anyone, spar with just about anyone, and sit by just about anyone in the dining hall if he sees a free spot by 'em. Avirly tends to hang out with Jelal more than any other guard member, and often she and Jade are seen together, but she's always up for making new friends. Same with Jade. Besides characters I also have thread ideas! Really! Tons of 'em! Like. . . A nasty cold bug puts the majority of the West Tower Guard and fisherbeasts on sick leave. But the fish still need to be caught! A group of beasts volunteer to take a fishing boat out for a day and see what they can catch. Jade and Avirly often spend their afternoons entertaining the dibbuns out on the grounds, but this time when they round them up to take them to dinner they find two are missing. Did they make it outside the walls? Are they lost in the caverns beneath the fort? Or are they just asleep in the gatehouse with Warrick? The last days of summer are the last opportunity for a day at the beach. Collecting seashells, making sandcastles, and playing in the waves are made ten times more fun when done with a huge group of friends. And what better way to finish things but with a picnic dinner and a bonfire out on the shore? Alright, so don't make me beg. Someone, anyone want to write with me?

So I'd be up for the third option (I could even write the first post), and the fishing thing sounds right up Jelal's alley. Actually both of those sound like great community events, so let's all see what we can do! We can't hang around in the dining hall all day, can we?

A small town has suddenly been beset by a tribe of thieving tree rats who have made good on a long held grudge against the townfolk. They have stolen an antique sword that was owned by the founder of the town, and have threatened to destroy it unless certain demands are met. Black Arch soldiers have been called in to retrieve the sword, whether by force or diplomacy is yet to be determined. Also, a vermin seer comes to the fort asking assistance for a mysterious and dangerous occurrence in the deep woods of the North. A village has suddenly and mysteriously been depopulated, and even vermin fear to go near and take the plunder. Is it plague? Could the rising population of lizards have attacked? Is it something even more nefarious? Black Arch has been called to investigate. Would anyone want to lead these?

In the future I have a plot all worked out that will take place when it's time for Duran to step down from the role of high commander. It involves a seer and several other elements you mentioned. So. . . if I may, could I claim dibs on this quest? Though it won't happen for some time yet. Your other quest idea sounds awesome. I'd love to lead it sometime, with Duran. He needs to get out of the fort every now and again, after all. :3 And SilverRose, if you want to take any of those ideas you liked and post with them I'll happily join. =D Edited by Lady Admin, Aug 26 2009, 12:00 PM.
