Level Two Poster Posts: 76 Group: East Tower Guard Member #19 Joined: January 15, 2008	Name: Kani Pesäheilua Species: Rabbit Age: 24 Gender: Female Species: Rabbit Appearance: Kani is of a terracotta fur with white splotchy bits over her main hide, and white on the edges of her paw digits. Her ears are, to say the least, floppy unless she puts the thought into making them stand straight. She wears thick clothes for the most part, all in dark hues from navy to blood red to black. The coat is many pocketed and hangs down low on her body, as if a size too large; underneath is normally dirty and half unbuttoned work shirt. A pair of goggles hangs around her neck, one lens cracked, a Malachite stone hangs off it. She wears a small canvas bag most places, a flower (which varies daily) and a pickax (which never changes) stick out of the bag. She is usually, nose to tail, dusty, from sources unknown. Personality: Let us say Kani is fiercely Independent to the point of growling if any unwitting male beast hold a door open for her. Her manners leave much to be desired, the back of her paw usually the tissue for any vicious cold, and she is not above picking sizable dirtwads n' stuff from her footpaws. Oddly enough, she is starkly loyal to authoritative orders, from an upbringing under management type parental figures. She has claustrophobia, for some reason or another. She has an undue interest in rocks, and in the thread, landforms, from mountain and stream, to river and dale, reckoning herself to be a surveyor of sorts. As long as her protective covering can be cracked a bit, she can be a charming, if wary, lass, with no fear of rude humour, naughty language or grim details. On the side, Kani has the fierce fear of being distracted at the wrong time and the impulse that if something goes array around her that it is her fault, absolutely, no questions asked. History: Kani was born and raised in the North, some undetermined location near some mountains, in a joint owned mole and rabbit mining community on the edge of the world. They excavated for metals to be made into weapons. Born into dirt, bred to dig, from a young age, Kani’s footpaws barely left the underground, and she loved it. In her soul a digging spirit burned. She dug, and she dreamed, and she fell in love with a charming beast of another hide. And there were raids, for some metals were precious, and then some lives were lost. A cave-in took place, and her love was lost, for the underground, and for the mole who died for her. Thankfully, pasts were made to escape from. She toughened up, moved South, and began to search for something a little better than digging, chatting to her pet rock on the way. Skills and Abilities: Her pickax is an extension of her paw, used both in weaponry and practical contexts. She also has a pretty good arm when it comes to chuckin' rocks (she has a collection of these sorts in her bag). Her mastery is landscape, she knows surfaces, she can hear beasts coming along the ground, she knows what will happen when fighting happens on a certain ground, she knows the proper way through a hike through a bog, and she has a sizable rock collection in her sleeping area. She is stronger then a beast would first consider, the species and coat hide the muscles gained from mining. She’s not a good paw to paw fighter, but a well placed uppercut from her could bring down a sizable opponent.

Level One Writer Posts: 394 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: December 7, 2007	Oooh, a rabbit! Most people don't tackle rabbits, I will say, but you seem to have done very nicely! Kani seems to be a very different sort of rabbit than the ones encountered in the books, but I rather like that. You've taken a rabbit and made her your own, which is more than acceptable especially because you've tied it in so well with the digging and the moles and such like.
