HOW-TO PLAY ONLINE: 1) After installing your game, download and install Garena. 2) Create a Garena account HERE 3) Download and extract it to your games location: e.g: Killing Floor/System/ Updates: Patch 1.005 w/ DLC - COMPREHENSIVE: 
Comprehensive 1.00X to 1.005 [/b]

4) When extracted, you must go to Garena and detect the game.
5) In the game, go to Multiplayer --> LAN, here you can either host your own game or join one in progress. 6) If you do not see any games, and you know there is a garena person hosting, right click anywhere in the lobby, and go to open IP. ============================= HOW-TO CHANGE NAME: 1) Open up rev.ini (located in Killing Floor/System) 2) Find this phrase 'PlayerName = CHANGME!!!' 3) Change the 'CHANGEME!!!' to your desired nick, and voila! ============================= HOW-TO HOST A GAME: 1) At the main game window, click “Host Game”. 2) Select your options, and click Listen Server. 3) Wait for people to join you. Select your perks and character, start game, and start having fun! ============================= HOW-TO GET MORE PLAYERS: 1) DOWNLOAD and extract the file and put the files inside Killing Floor/System 2) Modify killingfloor.ini (placed inside System folder) and add this (replace 20 with the amount of players you would like to support)
3) Enable Web Admin when hosting the server. 4) Access your Web Admin with YOURIP:8075. 5) Enable the mutator called KFmMaxModPlayer ============================= Xfire Detection Fix  1) Download and apply the fix 2) Navigate to and search for "Killing Floor" (Beneath "Not installed games") 3) Press on "Killing Floor" and choose Manual setup 4) Navigate it to your Killing Floor folder 5) Press "Apply, and you are set!

hi and thanks for the guide. but i need your help please cause i cant seem to find servers to play on when i go to multiplayer then lan in the game...thanks again

Thanks for the guide, played solo and the game is great, just having problems on mulitplayer. I cant run the revloader.exe, it results in error and also nothing happens when I click the playkillingfloor.bat. Followed instructions here and still no success |

Same here, I feel a little relieved knowing that I'm not the only one with that issue. I've tried everything, even downloading 2 versions of KF and applied the fixes and updates and it still doesn't work. Playkillingfloor.bat in KF/System/ closes without open the game, and when I try to execute revLoader.exe it says that the program gone wrong with the configuration or something and a reinstall would solve the problem, but it's still not working. I have Windows XP sp3. I've reinstalled everything (but hamachi) 4 times so far. Thanks in advance. Edited by Eddie Elric, May 18 2009, 02:59 PM.
