Karakura Town is a town or city in Western Tokyo. The town is filled with human souls and many rouge shinigami that attack hollows acting as shinigami from soul society; but aren't actually. The town is huge and different locations all over the town.

Soul Society translates into "Dead Spirit World". Soul Society is where the Shinigami who acquire the weapon they hold by their side which is called a "Zanpakuto; Translated into Sealed Sword." Shinigami academy and such are within the walls of this large template palace where most shinobi train and protect the place from any unwanted visitors.

Hueco Mundo is located between the human world and Soul Society, though it is separate from the bordering dimension known as Dangai. It can only be accessed by tearing the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, which allows Hollows to travel to any other dimension at will. Depending on the Hollow, the effect of this process varies.
