Name: Shinmei Hayate (Morning Star Squall) Soul Type: Shinigami/Arrancar Requirements: A sword, taught by Kaede Damage/Burn/Paralyze: Strength x 0.3; Strength x 1; Strength x 1 Cost: None Description: A rather simple move meant to juggle the enemy or intercept an aerial attack. The user swings their sword upwards in an arc, jumping as they go. In case the user is very close to the opponent, they would usually add an elbow strike with their other arm as an opening, during which they swap their sword from one hand to the other, and then swing it upward with the arm they executed the elbow strike. Switching the weapon from one hand to the other serves to increase the speed and suddenness of the attack, and the elbow strike is meant to accommodate the move to be used at minimal range. If the user manages to juggle the opponent, they would usually deliver another spinning slice in mid-air. If any of the blows connect, the opponent will not be able to defend themselves against the rest of this technique. Name: Shinmei RenjinZan (Morning Star Shredding Flash) Soul Type: Shinigami/Arrancar Requirements: A sword, taught by Kaede Damage/Burn/Paralyze: Strength x 0.5; Strength x 0.8; Strength x 1.4 Cost: None Description: This technique is a combo. The user delivers a quick sideways slash to his opponent, focusing on speed rather than power to make it harder to block. This initial attack is followed by an upward juggling swing and a powerful jumping sideways slash, which deals the most damage and applies a lot of force to the opponent, effectively creating distance even if blocked. If any of the blows connect, the opponent will not be able to defend themselves against the rest of this technique. Name: Shinmei Seiryoku Mori (Morning Star Power Lance) Soul Type: Shinigami/Arrancar Requirements: A sword, taught by Kaede Damage/Burn/paralyze: Strength x 2 Cost: 150 Description: A single blow, as powerful as it is simple. The user will pull their sword backwards and concentrate their strength and some reiatsu in the arm holding it for a few moments, after which a simple thrust is executed. However, both speed and power of the attack are surprisingly high, making it very hard to dodge or block. Name: Shinmei Kyuushuu (Morning Star Revenge) Soul Type: Shinigami/Arrancar Requirements: A sword, taught by Kaede Damage/Burn/paralyze: Strength x 1.5 + Reiatsu Offense x 2 Cost: 300 Description: A strong offensive move, but somewhat limited in range and versatility. The user will channel a considerable amount of reiatsu into their sword, forming their spirit energy into an extension of the blade three times as long and wide, and then strike their opponent with this large form. The speed of this attack is also very high, but it requires a short charge-up period which can alert the enemy to the weapon's trajectory. Name: Ittou Oboro (Glancing Blade Haze) Soul Type: Shinigami/Arrancar Requirements: A sword, taught by Kaede Damage/Burn/Paralyze: Strength x 1; Strength x 0.5 + Reiatsu Offense x 0.5 (x1-3) Cost: None; 90 (x1-3) Description: A quick-draw style based technique. The user will sheathe their sword and then make a quick sharply angled slash outwards. This move is, like all quick-draw moves, hard to anticipate and block or evade. However, the main part of the move is using your spirit energy to replicate the slash at a further away distance right after the real one is finished. The reiatsu slash is exactly the same as the weapon's, only displaced by 1 foot. A maximum of three reiatsu slashes can be done, each extending the reach by 1 foot and appearing just as the previous one is finished. If any of the blows connect, the opponent will not be able to defend themselves against the rest of this technique. Name: Ittou Shingetsu / Ittou Shingetsu Ura (Glancing Blade New Moon) Soul Type: Shinigami/Arrancar Requirements: A sword, taught by Kaede Damage/Burn/Paralyze: Strength x 0.1; Strength x 0.7 + Reiatsu Offense x 0.7 / Strength x 0.1; Strength x 1.1 + Reiatsu Offense x 0.7 Cost: 70 Description: The user swings their blade upward in a wide arc as they take a step forward with the leg that was behind, and an image of the Moon appears for a few instants roughly where the blade passed. This reverses their leg position. In the Ura version, the user will turn around and gain momentum as they take two small steps before swinging their blade from the opposite side, at the end of which they will be in the same position as they were before the attack. The final version of this technique is Ittou Sogetsu, which is basically Ittou Shingetsu followed up by Ittou Shingetsu Ura, which is easily possible because the execution of the first attack puts you in a position perfect to execute the second in less time than normal. If the user is close to the opponent, or if they get close when performing the step forward in Ura, there is an additional attack with the hilt before the upward slash, which can throw the opponent off-guard. This attack juggles the opponent if it connects, so in Ittou Sogetsu, it consists of 3 hits rather than 4. If any of the blows connect, the opponent will not be able to defend themselves against the rest of this technique. Name: Ittou TsukiKage (Glancing Blade Moonlight) Soul Type: Shinigami/Arrancar Requirements: A sword, taught by Kaede Damage/Burn/Paralyze: Strength x 1.1; Strength x 0.7; Strength x 0.7; Strength x 1.5 Cost: 20 (x4) Description: A rather simple series of slashes. The user will slide towards the enemy with a sideways slashing attack, followed by a downward one, an upward one and then a strong stepping downward one. The reiatsu is used to slightly increase the user's speed before the first attack, in order to surprise the enemy, and the speed of the attacks so that they can be linked into a combo. If any of the blows connect, the opponent will not be able to defend themselves against the rest of this technique. In addition, Kassatsu Izayoi Gekka (Life and Death Moonlight Flash) can be executed after any of the four slashes as a combo move, meaning if the previous blow connects, the opponent will not be able to defend themselves against the next technique. Name: Kassatsu Izayoi Gekka (Life and Death Moonlight Flash) Soul Type: Shinigami/Arrancar Requirements: A sword, taught by Kaede Damage/Burn/Paralyze: Strength x 0.4 (x16) Cost: 400 Description: A frightening technique, it involves using spirit energy to greatly increase attack speed for a short amount of time. The user will execute 16 slashes, each resembling Ittou Oboro (Glancing Blade Haze), at varying levels. Each of these slashes are extremely fast, making blocking extremely hard, and nigh-impossible due to them being aimed at different levels. If any of the blows connect, the opponent will not be able to defend themselves against the rest of this technique. Name: Kassatsu MidareSetsu Gekka (Life and Death Wild Seasons) Soul Type: Shinigami/Arrancar Requirements: A sword, taught by Kaede Damage/Burn/Paralyze: Strength x 1; Strength x 0.8; Strength x 0.7; Strength x 0.6; Strength x 0.8; Strength x 0.9; Strength x 0.9; Strength x 1.1; Strength x 0.3; Strength x 0.9; Strength x 1.1 + Reiatsu Offense x 0.9 Cost: 1050 Description: This is an extremely powerful technique. Burning up a lot of Reiatsu, the user will momentarily increase their speed three times and charge the opponent. Once next to the enemy, they will execute a long and extremely fast series of attacks. First attack is a sideways slash, then downward slash, then upward slash, then a low slash, then another downward slash, then a crouching overhead slash, then an upward slash, then a strong stepping slash and then a move like Ittou Shingetsu Ura, consisting of a hilt strike, an upward slash and an arc slash with the Moon image. Because of the sudden and great burst of speed, this attack can easily catch an opponent off-guard, and blocking all the attacks is going to be extremely hard due to their speed and varying directions. If any of the blows connect, the opponent will not be able to defend themselves against the rest of this technique.

Some of them are just specific series of moves which are easily linked into a combo. Some are actual powers based on rapid offense |

You're a retard, you know that right? Do you use Reiatsu or Chakra or Chi or w/e when you punch someone two-three times in succession?

So does this mean I can have my combos as well? I don't think so, even though you make valid arguable points. These techniques are ridiculous. They are way to powerful, yes you have a bullshit arguable point. However, I dont see myself getting hit once and then taking hits all the way through damaging me for a complete 3750 without def. Your Logic is flawed, just because it is arguable does not mean it is not OPed. No I won't let you contest this as you want. Denied Sorry, your application has been denied. If you feel this was denied by mistake, unfairly, etc. please PM me. Also, feel free to create a new application that fixes the problems of this one. BRC Staff |
