As everyone finished up the last remnants of the main course, Blanche beamed at how everyone seemed to enjoy it. She put her hand on Jerhimi's knee, "Jay has requested a special dessert too - apparently one you've always wanted to taste. Unfortunately, I am incapable of making something so lovely and in need of such care, so I asked Esme, Ginette's house elf, to prepare and make it."

"She is a wonderful cook, much better at cooking than humans, I must say," Blanche smiled, "Ah, here it comes."

A house elf caused the main course dishes to vanish, as well as used cutlery and so no, to be replaced with new dishes, and a tray full of desserts, the largest one being the one Jerhimi had always wanted to try, and in Jay's opinion was extremely delicious.

"I think it wonderful that you are such an independent young girl...sometimes, I wish I could have given my own girls the opportunity to attend university. But Sophie grew up to be the traditional house-wife..." Blanche tilted her head a little, "You know, I suppose it's because it's just a thing of being in a society like this...though I know that Ginette - due to her education and life away from home or private school, has become an independent woman in her own right."

"I think that Penns has been a good decision for Ginette and Jean," she tasted a bit of the dessert and sighed a little happily, "I'm sure that your parents are very proud of you, dear."

Jerhimi smiled appreciatively at Jay as he had obviously put some thought into her comfort at the dinner by asking for her favorite foods. At least nothing was too foreign to her that she was afraid to try anything. Although, having a mother for a cook always helped in the international tastes category. Unfortunately her mother wasn't the dessert chef at the O'Sheas so therefore desserts were alwasy passing under Jerhimi's nose without her getting to try them. She couldn't remember when she'd ever mentioned wanting to try anything, but it must have been on one of her food rants. It made her heart warm to think that Jay payed that much attention to what she said, even when it wasn't important.

When the Pears Belle Hellen came through the door, she could instantly smell the cinnamon and her smile broadened as the traditional French dessert was set in front of her. "Thank you, it looks absolutely amazing." Savouring a bite as Luc teased Jay about his younger years, she could remeber those first few years, before they had been together. She wasn't sure if she actually remembered the black hair, for his hair was definitely blonde the first time she ran into him in Quesne. Maybe he had just told her about it so often, she liked to picture it. Jay certainly had some hair misadventures.

"Thank you, they've done their best for us. Now it's our turn to give them a hand." Jerhimi said to Blanche of her own parents. "My brothers are six and seven years older than I am, so I'm the last one." Her parents were going through similar stages of withdrawl as Jay's. Sometimes it amazed her parents how grown up she had been about everything. Perhaps that had been Jay's influence on her. They had both done quite a bit of growing up in their time together.

Louise chose to say nothing more during the dinner, though she added a few laughs, and smiles here and there, and the odd one or two remarks. She didn't wish to cause her husband or brother-in-law any upset, or have her father and mother-in-laws berate her afterwards.

As the Pear Belle Helen came in, she reminisced of the French home she had grown up in.

Finishing the dessert, her baby began it's first set of hunger sniffles. And soon enough, the nurse asked whether she should bottle feed the child, or have a wet nurse attend to him whilst Louise finished dinner.

"No, I'll feed him," Louise wiped the corners of her mouth delicately, and excused herself smartly, smiling at Jerhimi, all the time convincing herself that it was the right thing to do.

Taking Lucien in her arms, she sat on the love seat as the nurse came to settle in front of her, effectively shielding her from view as she fed her child.

She saw briefly, as her husband soon excused himself, teasing Jerhimi about having won over his parents with her beauty and personality, before coming over to kiss Louise's head, and watch with love, his son's face.

"She is quite nice, after all..." Louise looked up at Luc.

As they finished up the remaining bits of dinner, and they all got up from the table.

Blanche bent down, to kiss both of Jerhimi's cheeks, and George took her hand to kiss before mussing Jay's hair up, and heading over to play with his fed grandson.

"Come on, gorgeous," Jay took her hand through the crook of his elbow, and led her out the room.

"Where would you like to go? The home is your oyster tonight," he kissed her ear, "You were wonderful, you really were. I could tell that Mama and Papa loved you," he resorted back to his French origin as he spoke of his parents.

His arm then casually wrapped around her waist, his hand stroking her side, as he waited for her answer.

As scared as she had been, dinner hadn't been all that bad. Terrifying yes, but overall very pleasant and the food amazing. It took a lot of self-restraint however, to refrain from picking up dishes; it was just her nature. Clean this, pick up that. For once it was nice to be the guest and not have to worry about those things. Not that she could get used to it quite yet, and would insist in her own home that she clean up as well as cook.

At least she felt accepted here with the fairwells she had gotten from Jay's parents as they retired to another room. She had been able to be herself and not be ostracised for it. Blowing out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding in, she fell instantly into Jay's lead and leaned her head on his shoulder as he snaked an arm around her waist. Falling into step with him even with her short legs, she fiddled with her promise ring on her finger, thinking about his question.

"Hmmm..." She pondered out loud. Was there anywhere in particular that grabbed her interest? Surely the library was fantastic, the kitchens would be off limits, the attic would have been a grand adventure. The house was huge! Of course she had wandered around the entire O'Shea estate, had the place practically memorized. Their manor howerver, seemed much smaller compared to the Godwin estate. "I think I'd like to see," Honestly she had no clue. "Show me where your favorite place is." Ah, the easy way out, but still she was curious. Spending time with him was all she really wanted to do, no matter what room of the house they were in.

When he was younger, he had always loved the amusement room, as he now called it, rather than the play room. As Sophie and Luc grew up, Luc had been the more demanding, and often wheedled his parents for Muggle pin ball machines, and a snooker table. Wizard giant chess boards was another one of his favourites. That had been his favourite room.

But it had changed since then, he'd discovered that he didn't really know his home as well as he should, and this time delved even further, trying to find a room that hadn't been touched at all. It was like that - this house. Too big now that most of the family had grown up and moved up...but soon enough, new babies will be born...

He was surprised to find that most of the East Wing was closed off, and he had asked his parents to open the doors last summer.

A musty, old smell flooded his senses. Everything was red, dark, rich brown, and such royal colours that contrasted to his mother's decor of the rest of the house - light, airy, spacey. Sure the bedrooms were a lot more personal, but most of the manor was white, and glass. The East Wing had been untouched by her hand, and the same chandeliers hanging in the main lounge and dining room, hung from the centre of the entrance hall.

He still hadn't found his favourite place yet. Mother had the place cleaned as he crept through the many rooms, searching for some time forgotten journal of past residents, disappointed to find nothing - not even a portrait. Then, he'd stepped into a room at the very end of the East Wing. It had an old grand piano in it. Nothing else. It had yet to be cleaned, and sparlking cobwebs could be seen hanging from the out of tune keys, and legs.

Jay had been taught to play, like his siblings...But what was beautiful about that room was that one wall had been made entirely of glass. It looked out onto the woodlands, after a short space of grass. Since then, he'd helped his Father here and there with the gardening, planting simple Muggle roses that were red with brilliant green leaves. There was still space around the centre piece of roses...

It was his private room. He was allowed to have it designed and made by his own choice. Only his Mother had been allowed to see the room, and he had russet red curtains fitted immediately after the cleaning, so that Luc couldn't tease him by saying he'd seen the room through the glass window.

The piano would remain as it was. It had been cleaned, but Jay had spent a month in between visits, fine tuning the instrument till it sounded almost perfect again. One key didn't work - high C, but he could by pass that.

The East Wing was his. Blanche had said that to him, since he was the only one truly interested in the place.

"I haven't told you..." Jay immediately took her quickly through the house to the other side of the building without explaining the directions. He just wanted her there.

"The East Wing. It's been closed off...but last summer, I asked Mama to open the doors..." Jay took out a heavy door key from beneath an urn, and turned the lock with it, "It's very different from the rest of this place."

Half-expecting a joke about his own bedroom, Jerhimi was surprised when Jay went quiet and picked up the pace. It was a good thing she hadn't eaten much otherwise her stomach would be sour. Wordlessly they made their way through the old house, doors passing in a blur, not another soul on the entire path. Almost startled by his reaction, she worried if she had said something wrong. But before she could voice her thoughts, they stopped.

"The East Wing. It's been closed off...but last summer, I asked Mama to open the doors... It's very different from the rest of this place."

Surprised by his demeanor, but delighted to see another part of his house, the curiosity bubbled up inside her. Jer wanted to run her hands over the ornate door but stepped inside with Jay as the door shut behind them. It was dark but not for long.

As the lights flickered into life, her hands flying to her mouth in surprise before she smiled wide. The room was beautiful and she instantly knew it was Jay's. It had his name written all over it, so much more personal than the rest of the house. Warmer tones, darker woods. The piano at the center of the room gleamed in the candlelight. Utterly delighted, Jer rushed to the large instrument to run her fingers over the curves of the top and then gently over the keys. She had no musical talent whatsoever, besides singing to herself when she worked by herself in the kitchen or outside in the gardens, but that hardly counted.

"It's gorgeous, do you play?" She asked, turning her big green eyes on him. It had never occured to her that he might play an instrument. Of course she knew most pureblood children were trained in music in one way or another, but for some reason, had never made the connection.

He had never been very open about his pureblood upbringing in school the way Ginette had been. Yes, so he had been vain, yes, he did have the latest items and clothes and so on. But he hadn't flaunted his other talents...like dancing and playing the piano. The smaller things that defined you as high class. Ginette sung, did her art and everything in front of everyone's noses when she was younger.

"Wait till you see this," he pulled on a few drawstrings on the side of the large curtains, and they swept aside majestically, revealing the view outside, lights from a few faeries glittering around the roses.

He shrugged when Jer asked him if he played the piano.

"Yes...roughly," Jay sat on the faded seat, "Do you want to hear anything in particular? Mind, I might not know how to play it," he laughed, "Here's a thought - why don't you go give me your favourite memory...I might be able to choose a song from my own memory to fit in with it."

Jer turned just in time to watch the curtains fly open, and her mouth formed a small 'oh' as the scenery through the tall window came into view. It must have showered lightly while they were eating dinner for the entire yard seem to sparkle with dew. The lights of faeries floated here and there, illuminating the wet grass and flowers; it was truly magical, in every sense of the word. She wanted to run outside in barefeet and smell the sleeping earth, but was quite content where she was.

As Jay sat on the piano bench, Jerhimi perched herself lightly next to him so as not to be in the way. Laughing lightly, she just shook her head at his question about a song. "The only songs I know are sung in pubs by rowdy old men who've had too much to drink." A true statement as Jerhimi had met many of her dad's Irish companions and often heard them sing a chorus or two of a pub song. Setting her hands gently on the keys in front of her, she wished she could play. There had never really been any musical, artistic or athletic talent passed down to Jerhimi; she had the gift for flowers and animals, but those were hard to share with others sometimes.

"Mm, much better idea." She said of his thought for a memory. "Though it's hard to choose." True again. What exactly stuck out in her mind as a favorite memory? Something from her early childhood when she would rough house with her brothers? A good day off with her father just hiding in the gardens? Finding Ruby? Her first day of school? It was so hard to pick. "Oh I don't know!" She admitted, smiling at him in mild frustration.

"How do you pick a favorite memory out a life where there have been so many?" In all honestly she hadn't any really horrible memories besides those few months when she thought she would have to leave Penns if it went private. Her years at school had been filled with good friends and good memories. "I do remember a day, in my first year when I literally ran over a certain gentleman, who kindly kept me on my feet." How corny. But in reality she loved thinking about how from start to present, she was always running smack into Jay.

"There is also another time," This one had just popped up into her mind. "When my dad had the day off for the O'Sheas were going out of town for the weekend, when my dad took me to the beach. I must have only been five or six." It amazed her that she hadn't though of it straight off. "I had just gotten over the chicken pox so my dad bought me ice cream and helped me to fly a kite for the first time." The very thought of it made her heart warm. She certainly was a daddy's little girl and though she never admitted it out loud, loved every minute of it. "Just one of those typical father-daughter days, but one I'll never forget." She tilted her head to the side, sighing before taking her hands off of the piano keys.

A peaceful day. That was what Jerhimi's memory reminded him of. Something that was pleasurable - light, and enjoyable. Full of highs with the icecream, and lows if the kite didn't quite fly into the sky, though a very slight drop in the pitch...Prince Igor. It was a piece by Borodin that even had a fast, loud middle that could be associated with the kite finally up in the air...

It was only a few moments silence...it had been a song that hard to think of because it was his favourite.

"Listen to this..."

OOC:
the actual piece with orchestra is

Waiting for him to decide a song, Jer took the time to glance around the room again. She wanted to get up and wander a little, but decided that could wait until he was done. This night could last forever as far as she was concerned. Dinner really had been very nice, now she just wanted to spend some time with Jay. It seemed like they hardly saw each other any more. Life was just so hectic. Next year wouldn't be much better either, he would have quidditch and N.E.WT.'s, she would just have classes, but they would still be harder than what she was used to.

But as Jay started to play, Jerhimi sat, utterly amazed as his fingers brought the piano to life. The song was a perfect fit to her memory. The light airy feel and the swiftness brought the memory alive with the music. Somehow though, it was easier for her to imagine Jay and a little strawberry-blonde girl with his gray eyes walking down the beach, ice cream in hand, smiles on both of their faces.

That though was both scary and exciting at the same time as she closed her eyes and just listened to the music. The little scene played out more, as Jay magicked a kite from the end of his wand, producing it for the little girl to fly. He bent down low to help her hold it right and then then let it go. The bright red kite flew up into the air on the strong ocean breeze and the two held the string together, laughing and smiling.

She hadn't even noticed that the music ended for the scene in her head was still playing, but after a moment, she came to, sighing contentedly and leaning her head on his shoulder. "I learn something new about you every day. You're very talented." She smiled, almost slyly at him and took one of hands, bringing it up to her lips to brush a kiss of his knuckles.

WARNING: ADULT CONTENT AHEAD

Luc had teased him often. Ginette was simply very impressed. Sophie completely ignored it and didn't pry into it. He never pushed Jerhimi into furthering their physical relationship. Yes, they shared the same bed, but he never touched in a way that she might not be ready for. He wondered if he would have controlled himself or cared as much if he was still with Ana...he didn't think so. Jerhimi was just so innocent and pure in his books that he didn't want to ruin her precious girlhood.

He'd wait till she was ready.

But when she brushed his knuckles with her lips, he found it teasing. To appease the sensation he turned to cup her face in his hand and kiss her softly. What had she been thinking of just now? Had she been thinking of her memory? Or something else?

He didn't know.

Jay found himself often shocked with how gentle he was with Jerhimi...so much the opposite of what he was like with Ana. But sometimes, he wanted a touch more - his own nature wanted to kiss her urgently, feverishly - but he didn't want to hurt Jerhimi. To scare her away. He played with the idea of what might happen if he got carried away...

woohoo adult content!

The kiss probably hadn't meant to be a sensual one, but Jerhimi found it so, soft and easy. She didn't meant to tease him of course, because she knew he was waiting for her. Letting her choose when and what to do on the physical side of their relationship. Oddly enough, she had probably been thinking about it as much as he had and appreciated his restraint immensely. They had often shared a bed, just to sleep of course, when they hadn't seen one another after a long day. After all Jerhimi had no roommates and it was nice to have another person to snuggle with. She always slept best on those nights.

Smiling at him briefly, Jer nudged his head to the side with her nose to trail kisses along his jawline. That wonderful jawline she found so attractive. Their position on the bench was awkward for such activity, so she slipped her shoes off easily and tucked one leg up on the bench, so she could face him properly. Probably not the best position for a dress, but she didn't care. Inching closer all the while, she grabbed both of his hands to intertwine her fingers with his. She knew he wanted a little bit more, just to push the boundaries and she did too. It was exciting and very thrilling to have somebody attracted to you in such a manner. To love you like that. Uncondictionally enough to make sure that you were comfortable first.

Pulling back, she looked him in the eyes, still holding his hands. "I love you." Jer didn't say it often because she didn't think it was something to be thrown around casually. They both knew what they meant to one another. She kissed him softly on the lips in the same manner he had just done. She didn't want to just come out and say it was okay if he wanted to go a little further tonight, so hoped her actions said it for her.

Feeling her lips trace across his jawline, he only sighed slowly, releasing his breath carefully, trying to hold his urge down. Turning his head a little so that his mouth was by her ear, he whispered, "Do you know what you're doing to me?"

He had changed his position slightly so that his leg swung over the other side of the bench, and taking their intertwined hand, he brushed hers over his cheek.

"I love you."

He looked at her, staring deep into her emerald eyes, and his voice came out throaty as he felt the urge to hold her close to his skin again, "I love you too."

Feeling her kiss him softly, he let it continue, deep and slow, before he pulled away just slightly, so that his lips were still barely touching.

"Are you sure?"

Jay didn't want her to feel forced into it - to make him happy. He wanted her to enjoy it as much as he did.

Jer cracked a sly smile at his question. Yup, that was her intention alright. Her smiled faded to one of pure joy instead of a snicker. There were butterflies in her stomach, but not the crazy nervous kind. Just the excited nervous kind. Sixteen was certainly old enough for this kind of activitiy, especially since they'd been together for so long. The only real worry at the back of her mind was that she had no idea what she was doing. Obviously she couldn't be all that bad at kissing because they did plenty of that, but beyond that, she was in completely new territory. There was just that little feeling that she would fail miserably and it was a good thing Jay still had her hands because they would have probably been shaking.

She didn't want him to feel like he was pressuring her; she wanted him to know she wanted this just as much as he did. "I'm sure." She said softly before kissing him again, this time a little longer, a little deeper. Releasing her hands from Jay's, they wandered up his chest, over his strong shoulders and into his hair; she'd wanted to muss it up all night.

In her effort to get as close to him as possible, her dress crept dangerously up so that most of her skinny legs were exposed, but right now that wasn't a big concern. She had no idea where she was going, but as long as it was with Jay, it was all good as far as she was concerned.

A shiver of heat ran down his spine as her hands roamed over his chest and shoulders. This is what he had often dreamed of - the feeling of what it would be like when she agreed to go to the next stage in their physical relationship.

Back at school, many thought they had already given themselves to each other because Jerhimi often spent the night with him. Tyler and Matt knew they did nothing in his dorm room, but often wondered what happened when he went to hers. They had all shared stories...well, Matt had. Tyler didn't really share much. But Matt had had a lot of experience according to his stories, and Luc's tales, including many others from the team mates when drunk, had added to his knowledge. He knew what not to do anyway, since there had been many stories concerning a slap across the face.

But he was a beginner at this as much as Jerhimi was - he had never cheated on her.

Jay moved his mouth to her collar bone, kissing her fragrant skin their, before moving up to nip her ear lobe.

Seeing the fair skin of her legs exposed, his hands ran up and down her thighs and he pulled her closer to him, kissing her cheek, lips, the side of her neck, "Do you want to move to somewhere a little more comfortable?"

His hands felt so warm on her skin, leaving a tingling sensation in a trail on her legs. His mouth left much of the same feeling on her neck and collarbone and a firey desire in the pit of her stomach. She gasped little when he went for her ear, entirely unsure of why that felt good. Ears? Honestly. Every part of her felt alive with the new sensations. It was all new to her. She didn't really have any girls to chat with about this kind of thing. There were really only guy friends and then two brothers in her repetoire. Great source of information right there. She had always thought about asking Ginette, but would she honestly want to talk about her brother in that capacity. Probably not, talk about awkward. Forget talking to her mother, that was just out of the question. That didn't really leave anybody to talk about this with. She was certain that Jay had a few buddies to chat with and at least get some sort of direction, she had nothing to go on.She really needed some more girl friends.

But that was not the matter at hand. Right now she was a little unsure, a little scared, a little nervous and all at the same time very excited in anticipation. These were all normal reactions she supposed. His question came as a whisper near her ear and she nearly fell off of the bench. Who knew whispers could be so enticing? She'd follow him anywhere at this point time.

Nodding to affirm her position she stood up, holding out her hands to him. "Where did you have in mind?" She gave him a sly smile, completely unfamiliar with the voice she had just used. It had a quiet intensity she had never used before. It was breathless and throaty, she wasn't sure whether it was good or bad, but it felt right; completely natural. She kind of liked it and suspected she couldn't talk normally if she wanted to. This was a time for whispers and secrets. There was no need to rush, no urgency. This was a time to be savored wherever they went tonight; this was special to her.
