There are small handcarts selling handhewn goods here and there, and almost all the shops have their windows and doors wide open to allow a nice flow of fresh air but no matter what day it is- as soon as the first hint of sunset arrives, everything takes on a different light- and it isn't just from the sinking sun. When dark swallows the city, the only place one feels any need to be, is inside.

Duncombe Lake is a 43 acre impoundment that has a maximum depth of 58 feet. There are two small islands in the lake which are rather unique for a millpond. Unicorn Branch, the major tributary to the lake provides cool water year round.

Decent sized city park with heavily wooded sections and a variety of paths, ranging from manicured to questionable in origin.

The hospital is as state of the art as one would expect to find this far from a major metropolitan area. There is a strong suspicion that one of the shareholders, directors, or even a surgeon or two are part of the more nefarious city life, but, nothing concrete has been found.

The local "cop shop" that is large enough to keep a decent handle on it's unruly human population, though has to put in a
little more effort for the more supernatural individuals and happenings.

The pub was originally established in 1759. Since then it had been rebuilt twice, once after a fire, and then just because no one could bare look at it. Thought it had been countless names, it was now called The Cross Eyed Pony. It isn't luxurious by any stretch of the word, but it was a decent eat and drink, fair job, and a good place to catch up on any gossip.

Local hotel boasting one of the earliest foundation dates in town. Available for extended stay or overnight.

If squeezing into an apartment in what passes for the city or "downtown" in Renfew isn't your style, there are several small residential neighborhoods located through the outskirts of town to choose from. Some of them are even nice.

Home to the Barhead Basin Pack.

The manor has been a part of Renfew for as long as anyone can remember. A few decades back it fell into disrepair and the descendants decided to just wash their hands of it rather than put the effort into restoring it. About five or six years ago, a well renown Italian musician purchased it and remodeled it, formally, as boarding house. In function it serves as the home of the dominant werewolf pack in the area.
