After almost three years of being inactive, I've decided to bring Blue Hedgehog back. It'll take some time before the site catches up to everything that has occured in the Sonic world throughtout these past years but I'll hopefully have most of the site working in a couple of weeks.

For those of you who are visiting Blue Hedgehog.org for the first time, then welcome to the site! This website isn't new and has been up since 2009. Our forums (a.k.a message boards) have been up since 2006 and are among the top Sonic forums on the net! It's true that there hasn't been much activity on the forums since 2010 but I know that now that the website has returned, we should see more Sonic fans come by and join or members returning onto it. So feel free to stop by our messageboards (http://forums.bluehedgehog.org).

Blue Hedgehog Version 3.0 will be here probably this coming up week or the next week, and with the new version, the website will also be completely different. Anyways I was looking around other websites and came up with the idea of having a podcast and/or a Video Show (maybe live? or on Youtube) on Blue Hedgehog. (It would all go on our official website)

Now I'm currently too busy to work on either at the moment but I wanted to mention that if anyone is interested in working on the Podcast, or on actually having a Blue Hedgehog show (again it could be a live show or a recorded show on Youtube, which would actually be better for the site) mention it in this topic or send me a PM.

Basically the podcast and show could be about the latest news on the board/website & Sonic news.

It'd be great if someone was interested in working on either so we would have a podcast or show ready when Version 3.0 is out.

Many of you have probably seen new features on the board appear lately but here I'll inform everyone of most of the new features that I'll add or have added.

-PM Alert: Anytime you receive a new PM a small box will appear on the bottom left corner. If you leave the page it appeared on then it'll go away, but this feature allows you to instantly know when you receive a PM, without having to spot the new PM in your inbox.

-Announcements Box: Many of you have probably already seen the announcements box in the front page, but in this box you'll always be able to read on the latest news topic on the board.

-Reputation System: In every post anyone makes, you'll see in their mini-profile the Reputation bar. We'll see how this reputation system goes. Remember to rep+ fairly lol.

-New Member Welcome PM: Every new member will receive an automatic welcome PM.

-Preview in Fast Reply: A preview button is now in every "Fast Reply" box.

-Smilies in Fast Reply: The "Fast Reply" box now includes a "Smilies" button, so you can include smilies in fast reply, without having to go to full reply

-Shoutbox: The board now has a shoutbox! The shoutbox can only be accessed by all registered members and not guests so you must log on before you start chatting on there. You don't have to enter your username again as it recognizes your logged in username on the board so that way no one will try to impersonate another member. Enjoy the shoutbox! Thanks to Joltis the Fox for letting me know that ZetaBoards has a Shoutbox available on the Admin CP, lol.

I was talking to Dash the other day about making this really cool roleplay. Right now I'm actually making it and I'll probably publish the info in a few days, but the main point about making is to get the board together and hopefully to make get new members. Basically, I was thinking of making it simple and nice, but at the same time there will be a few rules to follow (nothing too complicated, though). You can be either good or bad, chose original characters or existing ones from any universe, no one will be stopping you.

Right now it's called 'Underground Future', but that might change. In a nutshell, the setting is in a dark future in Mobious where Dr. Egmman has taken over and it's up to a group of freedom fighters to get together. Even then, you can be good or bad; so the ending result will be interesting...~

Now that the board is going through a lot of changes, I wanted to announce that the board has a new co-admin..... RidersDX. Riders has been a loyal member who has been here since the year the board was created and has also worked on his own board in the past, so he will be the new Co-Admin.

Alsothe other co-admins who were previously in the co-admin team will not be co-admins anymore but they may be co-admins once again when they return.

Hey guys. Just letting you know I'll be cleaning up the place a little during today and probably tomorrow or around the weekend if I don't finish. Basically what we'll be doing is closing different boards and merging them with others and cleaning up the overall appearance of the forum. Hopefully this way it'll look a lot nicer. So if you guys see anything funny, don't worry about it; it's all normal.

I know Facebook is a real popular social networking website so I've decided to create a Facebook for the board and website. So Blue Hedgehog is now on Facebook as well.

Feel free to add the page to your friend list and tell other people you might know on Facebook about it.

Blue Hedgehog is back. Well not really yet since mostly everyone that went on here hardly checks the board since its been inactive for more than a year, but I decided to once again bring the board back. Hopefully current members return and if you haven't joined the board yet feel free to join!

As most of you know, today is Sonic's 18th Birthday. This topic was started in honor of that and to wish the blue blur a special birthday wish or something of that sort. So here's to 18 more years of speed! (...that came out horribly wrong... :P)

First I would like to apologize to the staff for my recent absence, I got a job which had me tangled in work from 7AM-10PM everyday. That job is done now that Mother's Day is gone and past.

So what do this mean? It means I will begin making small changes around here as my school year ends, then I will begin working on more on here. Most of which will be content for the site. Anyways, I'm also opening my doors for suggestion. If you would like to come forth with an idea then please go right ahead.

Just thought I would give everyone the rundown.
