And the cartoon (SatAM) had a completely different story line then the games. (Sega Sonic) Basically it was about Dr. Robotnik who took over the kingdom of Mobotropolis, i think, and turned it into the barren wasteland of Robotropolis. Sonic, Sally, Tails and the rest of them are the resistance, or the freedom fighters. And all this is happening on Planet Mobius.

If im not mistaken though he never turned super in that series. So I would have to say sonic X is better. The older sonic the hedgehog show had a cool theme song too! Sonic X's theme song sucks.
