I will say it for all of us. INTERNET EXPLORER SUCKS! It's the worst browser out there, period. It's slow, has zero popup blockers (unless you pay for them), and is just a MAGNET for viruses! So Here's a list of alternatives! Find the right browser: Firefox - Tabbed browsing, moderate speed, plugin support, it's pretty neat. Get FireFox Operah - Said to be the fastest browser, but it doesn't boast much else. Get Opera Avant - A variant of Internet Explorer. Tabbed browsing, Skins (ability to change it's look), fairly fast... In my opinion, alot like a mix between FireFox and Internet Explorer. But it's all about your preference... Get Avant Browser Slim Browser - Somewhat like Internet Explorer, but for it's small size it has a nice amount of features. Tabbed browsing, fast as well. My favorite feature is that when you type in a new adress it opens the site in a new window so you don't lose your place! Get Slim Browser I currently have tested all of these browsers and have them all installed. I'm using Slim Browser right now and I really like it's features! I just thought I'd put this here to share all these with you. Hope it helps. |

Hmm... There used to be a download for MSN Explorer (which I use when I'm not using Firefox) somewhere, but it seems they've taken it off of the website. It's a pretty good browser, it manages MSN Messenger and Windows Media Player. It also has other uses too, which I don't really bother to mess with. Plus its just as fast as Firefox, if not a wee bit slower. Oh, and it has no tabs. ...I think if you download MSN Messenger, it will let you download MSN Explorer... Also, there is AOL Explorer, which is downloaded when you download the new AIM Triton. Its basically a rip-off from Firefox, except it has tabs for AOL-related stuff (mail, AIM, etc.) |
