That would be Wonder Woman. ![]() Really liked it, although I couldn't see David Thewlis as anything but Remus Lupin. But the movie was well-done, I loved Chris Pine's character and the way he portrayed Steve Trevor. I didn't know any of the backstory of Wonder Woman before she became the superhero, so it was interesting to me to see it all unfold.

Cars 3 Saw it with my brother for his 'bachelor party' with me since I wasn't in town for the actual party. I enjoyed it. It wasn't as funny as the original; but, Larry the Cable Guy did pull off some classic one liners. |

Spider-Man: Homecoming - 7/10 I saw this today, I enjoyed it. It was a little different from a lot of the other movies. There were several times where it was a little slow paced and seemed to drag on and there were other times where it felt like the movie was longer than it should be. |

megan leavey 10/10 i thought it was heartwarming, good acting, and despite what they all say on rotten tomatoes about the story/narrative i think it worked. what else do they want - more explosions? it's the story of megan leavey. what else can you do to drive home the factual story of a factual person? i don't think they paid attention. the narrative is there from her weird mom and step dad, her loving and firm real dad, her own struggles and attitude, the dog that first clashed with her then captured her heart, to her name being pretty much known by the world... again, what more do they want? |

No, it's been in the theaters for awhile now. I don't think it got a lot of advertising or publicity though, might be why you don't recognize the name off the top of your head. For me: War for the Planet of the Apes - 8/10 Amazing performances by Woody Harrelson, Andy Serkis and the rest of the cast! I truly was sucked in from the very beginning and the different approach they took to story-telling for this one really worked. You could see and understand both sides of the conflict and yet still be divided on who is truly right. Overall, I really enjoyed the finale to the series and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good movie to watch this weekend. |

We saw The Dark Tower last night ![]() It was great, I really enjoyed it. Idris Elba was awesome, as usual! I'd never read the novels that the film was based on, but I think they did a great job in explaining the world for non-readers and it was really interesting. |

As a general rule I don't see movies in theaters. I'm a big horror fan and generally only see horror releases, and I've been let down so many times, plus so much cheaper at home. The last movies I've seen in the theater were Slither from 2006, awesome movie BTW, and the Evil Dead remake from 2013. Not as awesome. Annabelle: Creation has me interested in doing a late night viewing if it's playing. Supposed to be really good. |

I watched Dunkirk last month. Personally, I'm a big fan of going to the movies, I find it way more enjoyable. Someone once explained that it's similar to listening to a record vs. going to a live concert. I don't think it's quite the same but some movies really are better on a huge screen. |

Dunkirk - just saw that today. I thought it was rather good, and it certainly lived up to the critical praise. There wasn't a great deal of talking, but it didn't need it: the visuals, the music, and what little dialogue there was were more than powerful enough to carry the movie. Although, it did take me a little while to catch onto the fact that I was seeing the same scene from multiple points of view! (Also....I have never seen Harry Styles like that before :P ) |
