Please keep this tab open if you want to refer to the patient information at any point in this case. JD is a 44-year-old female who complains that lately she’s been feeling a burning pain while urinating, and the urine tends to look foamy. After further examination, you note the following: Height: 5’2” Weight: 179 lb [tooltip=SCr][/tooltip]: 1.8mg/dL BUN: 34 mg/dL PMD: MI 6 months ago Allergies: NKDA Current medications: aspirin 81mg, lisinopril 20mg, metoprolol ER 25 mg 1. JD’s serum creatinine is high. Hypothetically speaking, this could be a sign of any of the following except: a. Acute tubular necrosis b. Glomerulonephritis c. Muscle injury d. All of the above could result in an increased SCr. |
