{Alisha Wylde sat in a corner booth within a bar known as “Sanctuary”. A large, muscular man approaches the booth, sitting down and passing her a glass of vodka, as he sits down with his beer. The man smiles as Alisha takes a sip of her drink and places the glass back down.}

Alisha: “That hit the sweet spot..."

{The man sitting with her is known as Akeem Edwards. He is an old friend from Alisha's childhood. He was in his late teens as Alisha had just entered hers. He practically raised her like she was his daughter, due to her parents abandoning her when she was a toddler.

Akeem used to wrestle, but retired after his promising career was cut short due to a severe injury. So he pays the bills by running the Sanctuary, a place where Alisha sometimes comes to receive some advice, or in this case a pep talk from the man formerly known as "The Machine". He takes a swig of his beer and continues smiling at “The Dark Angel” as she looks at him with a hint of confusion in her beautiful eyes.}

Akeem: “You did good at the PPV, angel. Real good.”

Alisha: “Not good enough to win.”

Akeem: “You were close, though. Real close. And now you’re number one contender. Now you’re the one that these bitches are lookin’ at with jealousy in their eyes. They ain’t got your skills. They ain’t got what you bring to the table.”

Alisha: “I suppose you’re right.”

Akeem: “Ain’t no “suppose” about it, angel. That’s a damn fact and you know it. None of these women have what you have. They don’t have your heart. They don’t have your ‘never say die, stare death in the eyes and spit in his face’ attitude. You’re “The Dark Angel”, Alisha, and that belt is being kept warm for you. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.”

{Alisha smiles.}

Alisha: “This week I face Stephanie Sex.”

{Akeem motions like he is cleaning out his ears.}

Akeem: “Excuse me? What’d you say her name was?”

Alisha: “Stephanie Sex.”

Akeem: “I thought that’s what you said. That sounds like my ex-girlfriend’s porno name…no wait, that was Hannah Handjob nevermind.”

Alisha: “And why was she called that?”

{Akeem is about to give that very reason, but Alisha puts her index finger against his lips and giggles.}

Alisha: “On second thoughts, I don’t need to know that.”

{She removes her finger from his lips and takes another drink of her vodka.}

Akeem: “But seriously, this Stephanie Sex girl, she ain’t got nothin’ to do about except one little thing.”

{Alisha raises her glass, while Akeem raises his beer bottle.}

Alisha: “And that’s Fade to Black.”

{The sound of clinking glass is heard as the scene slowly fades out.}

{End}
