CZW's Pinnacle of Perfection
The scene begins with "The Real Deal" Rob Wright staring into the mirror hanging on the wall of his hotel room. Around his waist is a towel, as he just got out of the shower. As he continues to stare into the mirror with a blank stare, he finally starts to speak.

RW: This week is gonna be a great week for The Next Generation. Not only does Mike King get to rid us of that human shit stain, Brian Kirkland. But Tim and myself get to take out some frustration on the extremely overrated Cage Stryker and the overly annoying tag team of El Fuego, but we will not be alone. On our side we have the reigning Intercontinental Champion...Justin Marsham, and that means bad news for our opponents because we have a huge chip on our shoulders. And by we...I mean The Next Generation. Last week, we lost a match that we had no right losing. Seriously...Monroe and Krimzon Blaze? Those two couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag. Now, I could go on and on about how terrible these two are, but in reality...there is only one person to blame for our loss.

Rob looks down and shakes his head. Then looks back up into the mirror.

RW: Me. That's right. Rob Wright is to blame for the loss last week. Not because of my actions inside of the ring, but because of my actions outside of the ring. For weeks now, Tim has been telling me that my head has been out of the game. That I'm losing focus. All along I thought he was jealous of what I have with Ashley, but now...I'm seeing things clearly. He wasn't jealous. He was just trying to get the best from Rob Wright, and I let him down. And for what? A piece of ass. A piece of ass that's not that great.

A smile finally crosses his face. He chuckles to himself for a minute, and then back to that blank stare.

RW: And because of her...Tim is making me choose between her and my family, because that's what The Next Generation is...family. But I'm getting of the topic. The topic is our opponents for this week. First up...Cage Stryker. The man that always seems to defy the odds. Cage Stryker always seems to come out on top, but not this week. This week he's facing three guys that are determined to unleash as much pain as needed. Three guys that are willing to dish out as much punishment deemed necessary to get the job done. Cage...you're gonna lose to Tim this week, and when he gets in the X Division title match at Summer Showdown...you're gonna lose to him again. Sorry son, but it is time for Cage Stryker to learn the truth. The truth being...he really, really sucks.

Rob stops talking as the hotel door is heard slamming shut.

RW: Krimzon Blaze...let me ask you a question, KB. How many tag team partners do you have? Let's go through the list. Shawn Waters...truth be told. Fire and Ice were one of the best. Until Shawn realized what it is that you do best...you drag people down. No, that's not the right. You don't drag them down. You hold them back. Perfect example...El Pablo. He was the CZW Heavyweight Champion. One of the best we've had...that is until you came along and dragged him down to your level. The last thing I wanna say about you is aimed at your other partner...Mike Monroe. Run Mikey. Run and never look back. It's only a matter of time before Blaze keeps you from climbing the ladder of success.

As Rob finishes his last statement...Ashley's voice can be heard in the other room.

Ashley: Babe...you here.

Rob looks towards the bathroom door, rolls his eyes, and stares back into the mirror.

Rob: And finally we come to...El Pablo. The only man that will be standing on the opposite side of the ring that I can honestly say I respect. Let me be clear about that. Just because I respect you...doesn't mean that I won't beat from pillar to post. This week, The Real Deal will go out there as a changed man. And by changed...I mean good for us and bad for anyone that stands in my or The Next Generation's way, and if you don't believe that...just watch and see for yourself.

Ashley comes walking throught the bathroom door as Rob finishes. He looks at her.

RW: What the hell is wrong with you?

AM: What are you talking about?

RW: You. Spitting in Tim's face. Then slapping him.

AM: He had it coming. He thinks he tough shit. When in reality, he's nothing but a failure.

Rob walks out of the bathroom and starts to get dressed.

RW: You know...one day that mouth of yours is gonna get you into trouble, and I'm not gonna be there to protect you.

AM: Protect me. I don't need you to protect me. I can handle my own. I was thinking of coming to ringside with you. How does that sound?

Rob looks at her.

RW: Are you crazy? I don't think Tim is gonna like that idea.

AM: I don't care what Tim wants. Do YOU want me to come to ringside?

Rob takes a second to think about what he is gonna say.

RW: To be honest...no. I don't want you at ringside. As a matter of fact. I don't even want you in the building. I want you to stay here in the hotel and wait for me.

AM: I'm not staying here. I'm at least gonna go to the arena with you.

RW: No. You're gonna stay here, and if you show up at the arena, or you get involved in my match...you will have hell to pay.

Rob grabs his gym bag and heads for the door.

RW: Try me and find out.

Rob says as he walks out the door. The scene fades to black as the door is heard slamming shut.
