The Zodiac Thrilla

We are live at Lexington, Kentucky, inside the Rupp Arena for another edition of Overdrive. The fans all cheering at the beginning of the show, holding up signs of their favorite superstars.

DANIELS: Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to another exciting edition of Overdrive, coming at you from inside the Rupp Arena. We have a jam packed line up, coming your way. Including the main event which will see Cage Stryker and Krimzon Blaze taking on the returning, Krish Kash and the new guy, Alan’s brother. Yes, Alan Fiscus’ brother, “Psycho” Sam Attic.

WATERS: I can’t wait to see what kind of revenge Cage and KB will seek out on these two men after what happened the other week.

MASTERS: Yes well, don’t expect it, tonight. Remember, Alan Fiscus will be at ring side, so I expect to see a replay of what happened last week.

DANIELS: Well that remains to be seen and we have a whole lot more action than just the main event, to include the contract signing for the Intercontinental championship match between Mike King and the champion, Maynard O’Toole.

WATERS: True and what I am looking forward to is the continuation in the first round of the tag team tournament match.

DANIELS: Indeed, it will be the team of Timmons and Mountain Man, The Next Generation, taking on the brand new tag team of Zodiac Thrilla and Whiteout, they call themselves: Gangster Ass Thugs or GAT for short.

Just then “Who Run It?” by Three Six Mafia interrupts the conversation as it blares over the Rupp Arena.

DANIELS: Well, speaking of “GAT” here they are, to grace us with their presence.

MASTERS: Oh lord, Daniels, I think “grace” is the wrong word. These two hooligans are far from grace.

Whiteout stands at the top of the entrance ramp, with his arms folded up into his chest, while “mean mugging” as the music begins to play. After a few moments of just standing there, looking quite intimidating, all of a sudden Zodiac, out of no where, hops right over Whiteout’s head like an acrobat. He then continues to strut down the aisle, followed by the big man.

WATERS: Wow that was quite impressive. How tall is Whiteout, about six, five?

DANIELS: Something like that.

Zodiac slides into the ring, full of energy as Whiteout steps over the top rope with ease. Zodiac grabs two microphones, keeping one and handing the other to Whiteout as their music fades out, the fans booing a little.

MASTERS: Oh dear God here we go, can we get a translator, STAT?

Zodiac: Don’t adjust ya television screens, the brightness and contrast aint gone down, we really is black. I know, I can’t believe it either. Now, we just out here to send a little message, not only to our opponents tonight, Tim and Mountain Man. But also to da two guys who’s been holdin OUR global tag team titles for us.

Whiteout: Hell yeah, tell what it is, what it gon’ be, son.

Zodiac: Ya gatdamn right, Mikey, Eazy E. we appreciate you holding our global tag titles, keeping em company n what not. But the thing is, we figgin to be needed them joints back, ya heard me? Don’t take it personal, this just bi’ness. You two can undastand that, right? I thought so, but even if you don’t, it don’t matter cuz when it’s all set and done, come Road To Glory three, me and the big black monsta gon’ be standing tall as the new global tag team champyuns, ya heard me?

Zodiac pauses for a moment with the fans all booing as Whiteout begins to speak.

Whiteout: My boy speaks the truth, we ARE the perfect combination of strength and agility. When Big Z hits you, you won’t no where it came from. When I hit ya, you gon’ see it and feel it, b’lee dat. WE run dis shit, yesterday, today and fuh’eva! Monrowan, the Night Train and Black Supa-Man comin fo’ those titles, ya feel me? Iss juss a matta of time, son.

Whiteout cracks a cocky smrk on his face as Zodiac takes over.

Zodiac: You ain’t neva lied, and speaking of that combination of strength and agility. It seems as though we gots our a couiple of opponents tonight. Tim and Mountain Man, I’ll admit you two got a pretty good team goin. But Tim’s been through more tag team partners than I’ve had blunts my entire life, ya heard me? Iss only a matter of time before he kicks Mountain Man to the curb. I’d watch my back if I was you. But you aint neva in yo life seen a combination like this here. I’m runnin my mouf right now, but you’ll see, tonight will be GHETTO FABULOUS!

Whiteout: …B’lee dat!

“Who Run It?” by Three Six Mafia, once again plays throughout the arena as Zodiac and Whiteout pose for the crowd before making their way out of the ring.

DANIELS: Well, short but sweet, intimidating words from the new tag team in town.

MASTERS: Seriously, can we get a translator, I didn’t understand a bloody word those two said. Shawn, you got the net over there, pull up babelfish.

WATERS: No, I don’t, William.

DANIELS: Well that was interesting but coming up we have our opening match so don’t go away…we’ll be right back.
