The scene is Trump Plaza Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The casino is bursting at the seams with people who are in for a good time. Among the observations at Trump Plaza is CZW cameraman Wade Richards, who apparently can't enough of the slot machines. When he realizes that he's being watched, Wade quickly picks up his CZW camera and makes his way to the blackjack tables. We see an imposing figure (albeit extremely sharp-dressed) at the tables, and he seemingly has control of the table. Dealer: 19, Mr. King. What is your next move? Ace King: Hit me. If you dare. Dealer: On 19??? Ace King: Are you kidding? I'm from Las Vegas! I thrive on risk-reward situations, sometimes they're even life or death in Vegas. As I said, hit me... if you dare. Dealer: As you wish, Mr. King. The dealer flips the next card, and it is revealed to be a 2, giving King 21. The rest of the table applauds, while the dealer does not look at all impressed. Wade zooms in on King, and Ace acknowledges the media presence. Ace King: Allow myself to introduce... myself. My name is Ace King, and I just love gambling. It's a thinking man's art, and the only way to be successful is to play your cards JUST right. I see wrestling in the same context as gambling. In the ring, the key to success is to wrestle a smart match; play to your strengths, and keep the momentum firmly in your favor. Those are things I always try to do when I'm in the ring, but I always look to entertain a crowd, and I will do anything to keep a crowd happy. Suddenly, a dispute starts at a nearby roulette wheel. An older gentleman is being harassed by a young man who may not even be allowed in the casino in the first place. Suddenly, the young man grabs the older man by the collar of his shirt and pulls him out of his chair. Ace King sees this as a time to act. Ace King: Of course, you also need some power to succeed in the squared circle, as this sorry sucker is about to find out. *Walks over to where the dispute is taking place* Hey punk, why don't you pick on someone your own age? With this, Ace King removes his jacket and shirt to reveal a CZW shirt underneath. The young man looks intimidated, but his bravado propels him forward. Young Man: Bring it on, buddy. With that, Ace and the young man start fighting. The young man is fairly strong, but Ace eventually gains the upper hand, landing some hard body shots. King whips the young man into a nearby Texas Hold 'Em table and delivers a huge clothesline. The young man is on the ground screaming for help. Unfortunately, he won't get any help, as Ace King twists him around and locks in a Sharpshooter, otherwise known as Big Slick On The River. The boy is now flailing around, trying to find a defense. Fortunately, Ace releases the hold, but not before getting a new idea. He rolls the young man onto the table and he hops up onto the table himself. He picks up the young man... BLACKJACK BOMB THROUGH THE TABLE!!! The boy is unconscious as casino security escorts him from the building. Ace picks the older man up off the ground and the two shake hands. For good measure, the old man kicks the young man in the groin. Ace King: CZW, let this display serve as a warning: Play your cards right, and you'll gain my trust. However, if you cheat me or piss me off... it'll be game over. With that, Ace sits down with the older man and orders the man a large beer. Then, the two get to talking and laughter breaks out at the table. Wade pans the camera around to show that the atmosphere in Trump Plaza Casino is normal again, as if nothing had ever happened. |
