Like that Arizona is killing her fellowship as they hustle to do crazy surgeries before Herman's brain tumor takes over. And Callie and Owen are 'trying to move on'. I ain't gonna say nothin'... I ain't gonna say nothin' |

I just really, really wish that they would stop with all of this 'it happened off screen' stuff. It's like we watch one SL and later hear totally different things. |

Now we found that they are divorced. And it was painful and brutal.

Callie stop flirting with your coworkers. It ruins them. |

Exactly. Arizona left Callie everything. They weren't fighting over house, a child support or Sofia's custody. |

Owen and Callie are proving to make an interesting team. It even seems like Owen is manwhore 2.0, though I hope this relationship stays entirely platonic. We’re reminded of Yang as Owen stands in that boiler room, dealing with his own loss. Just for a second, they even show a vision of her. AZ and Nicole are on the back burner in this episode, but there’s enough going on there for us to see what’s coming. Nicole has pulled difficult cases from around the country, hoping to teach AZ before her time runs out. My prediction? AZ is going to be left to figure out those cases on her own. |

Grey's Anatomy Recap: Hope for the Best, Plan for the Worst HARD SELL | After an overtly flirty meeting with a comely tech rep peddling transducers (which, thanks to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, I’d always thought were made-up alien gadgets), Owen and Callie happened upon the woman at their local watering hole. Considering it fate that, of all the gin joints in Seattle, the salesperson would show up at theirs, Torres told fellow singleton Hunt, “You gotta get back in the saddle, and she’s got a nice saddle.” When he hemmed and hawed, she then took matters into her own hands, approaching the rep and singing Owen’s praises. Trouble was, he wasn’t her type. Why?!? Callie asked. “He has a penis,” the woman replied, thus revealing that Torres has the lousiest gaydar since Mr. Roper. Worse, as flattered (and flustered) as Torres was, she turned down her admirer’s offer of a one-night stand. “Have we used up all our happy?” she asked Owen later. Since he ended the hour pining for Cristina, we’ll take that as a yes… but only for the moment. QUICK STUDY | Meanwhile, though Amelia swore that she was going to get to know Herman’s tumor so well, she’d be able to reveal “what street it grew up on and where it lost its virginity,” the maybe-dying-maybe-not doc took the Jackson approach to the unknown (plan for the worst) and collected the “most screwed-up” cases around to give Arizona a crash course in fetal surgery. When Amelia noticed that Herman had not one but two stacks of cases to tackle, Nicole explained that the first stack was the ones she and Arizona could get to for sure. And the second? “You should just think of them as babies who will die if you’re full of crap.” (No pressure, Shepherd!) Later, after witnessing Amelia flummoxing the residents with her game plan for Herman’s tumor, Richard was reassuring Derek’s sister that she was brilliant. Just then, Stephanie burst in – all of a sudden, she understood! And all of a sudden, Amelia didn’t need any reassurance that she was brilliant. |

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Recap: Jackson Begs April To Terminate Her Pregnancy As April awaits test results that will reveal the fate of their baby on ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ Jackson tries to convince her that getting an abortion might be a good idea if it’s bad news. And Callie (Sara Ramirez) gets offered a sexy one night stand. April and Jackson are getting some testing done by Arizona to find out the real, true fate of their baby boy. It’s sweet to see them doing this together, and April seems hopeful — optimistic, even. Hopefully, she has a right to be. While Arizona is treating April, Dr. Herman is with Amelia getting some tests done. As you might remember, Dr. Herman agreed to let Amelia do the surgery when the time comes — when her tumor grows to a point that it’s going to be near inoperable. As Dr. Herman prepares for the possibility of death from her tumor, she has planned a bucket list full of amazing surgeries for her and Arizona to do together in the next few weeks. Dr. Herman calls it a “crash course” in everything she needs to know about operating on infants. Speaking of Dr. Herman, Amelia is trying to prep a group of residents for the tumor removal surgery of a lifetime. She’s speaking some major doctor lingo as she talks about lasers and procedures no one understands, including her residents. The good thing is, this is a learning process for the residents. The bad thing is, even they aren’t convinced she can remove it. Is Callie Ready To Move On From Arizona? In happier news, Callie tries to set up Hunt on a hot date. At the bar they run into a tech rep they had a meeting with earlier in the day, and Callie tells Hunt that she was sending him major “vibeage.” That’s when Callie approaches the tech rep to get her and Hunt to share a drink, but she shoots down the idea immediately. Why? Well, direct quote: “He has a penis.” The tech rep starts laying the charm on Callie immediately, telling her she’s gorgeous, and Callie is just flabbergasted by the idea because she’s a divorcee. The tech rep is okay with them not falling in love and suggests that they just have “one night,” but Callie stutters over herself before leaving the bar. Alone. Eek. Arizona Has April’s Baby’s Test Results One significant moment at the very end of the episode shows Hunt in the boiler room standing over the vent that he and Christina loved so much. As the vent blows on him, he imagines her standing there, looking at him, and it’s the saddest thing ever. The sadness really explodes when April and Jackson are waiting to hear their baby’s test results and Arizona comes in to tell them to wait another moment. That’s when Jackson realizes it’s Dr. Herman who is going to deliver the news, which means it’s bad news. As soon as she enters the room, both April and Jackson look stunned — and that’s how the episode ends. |

'The Bed's Too Big Without You' Everyone's dealing with being alone. April and Jackson are doomed (maybe). From the beginning, religion has been a touchy subject in their relationship. Speaking of personal problems, a tech rep gets flirty in a meeting with Owen and Callie and Callie’s convinced she’s into Owen. So convinced that when they see her at the bar later, Callie goes up to this so-called “sexy tech rep” in an attempt to put in a good word for Owen. As it turns out, Sexy Tech Rep was actually flirting with Callie. Callie responds by being crazy awkward and ultimately rejecting Sexy Tech Rep because she’s “not ready.” And then she grabs her coat from Owen’s table and leaves without even saying goodbye. TV show characters not saying goodbye on phone calls is one thing; not saying goodbye in real life is straight-up rude—no matter how awkward of an encounter they just had with a potential hook-up. Back at the hospital, Owen and Callie eventually talk about what happened and how they’re not ready to move on just yet. Afterward, he heads to the vents he and Cristina used to frequent. His present-day moment is intercut with shots from him and Cristina in there together, reminding us that she’ll never be permanently gone from the show—and that he might never be over her. |
