Is she losing her mind since she left GA or was she like this before? Because I remember her being a little bit of an activist, but lately she's going way over the top.

Grey’s Anatomy’s 10 Most Annoying Characters 6. Arizona Robbins Fans of Grey’s are pretty split on Arizona, but one thing that can be agreed upon is that her character drastically changed following the plane accident. Of course being involved in such a traumatic event and losing your leg will change you, unfortunately it was dragged out way too long and Arizona became just another whiny, repetitive and annoying character. She also cheated on Callie, further proving the point that Shonda Rhimes never wants anyone to be happy. |

That short style is very flattering on Sara. It accentuates her elegant bone structure. Nice going Sara. |

The characters in our favorite movies, books, and TV shows are affected by things like gender, race, and class – just like us. Understanding how these factors influence their lives in media can help us understand how the same things impact our lives in the real world. Consider Callie from Grey's Anatomy... For over a decade, Grey’s Anatomy has been giving viewers the inside scoop on the personal and professional lives of the doctors at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital. And, as one of ABC’s longest running series, it seems to be just what the doctor ordered. Played by Sara Ramirez, Dr. Callie Torres is an orthopedic surgeon on Grey’s. She's also bisexual and Latina. Since her coming out, audiences have watched Callie fall for women and men alike. She's helped represent not only bisexual relationships, but interracial relationships too. Driven, outgoing, and honest to a tee, Callie follows her heart – even when it means making hard choices. While Callie is a successful leader in her field, the reality is that women and people of color are often underpaid or not given the same opportunities as men and white folks. In order to fully understand Callie's story, we need to consider how race, gender, and sexual orientation intersect to affect her life. wegiveadamn.org/about/ |
