Everyone probably came across the really helpful list of graduate programs in Chinese Philosophy that WW&W provided. For those who might find this information helpful, the link is http://warpweftandway.com/graduate-programs-philosophy/ Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or ideas about graduate programs (either listed by WW&W or not). Could be issues related to student life, the city where the program is hosted etc. Maybe we can share them in this topic. |

One advantage of studying in either Hong Kong, Singapore, or Macau is the density of universities that specialize, so you have access to seminars, departments, guest lecture series, etc. at other universities. This has some advantage, I think, over studying at an American university with only one or two specialists and nobody else around for miles. That could get frustrating, I suspect, but I don't want to speak for anyone. Just sharing my experiences. |
