Alright so basically I want to know what you liked about "Revenge of the Sith" and what you would do differently if George Lucas gave you command over the script. So for me I would definitely give more screen time to the Jedi Purge, specifically the destruction of the Jedi Temple. There was only one shot of clone troopers laying siege to the grand hall followed by a sour scene of Anakin igniting his lightsaber in a room full of younglings. Thats it. I would have loved to see Anakin kick some Jedi butt, followed by a scene where the wiser Jedi realize that there was nothing to be done except save as many as they can and flee the temple (eg. Shaak Ti, and Even Piell). This would have laid a foundation for alot of the EU material that takes place between Ep 3 and 4 Also the Jedi were picked off far too quickly in the scene where they try to arrest Palpatine. Something I liked.... I was pleasantly suprised to see Sidious and Yoda go at it. It was pretty much a dream come true for me. |

DID SOMEONE SAY 'SAGA'? Well, if I were able to edit the script the first thing I would do would be prolong Anakin's fall to the Dark Side. It literally takes seconds for him in that movie, and it was already half way over when it happened. The, ah, acting could probably have been a little better in that scene, too... EPISODE III NEEDED SHAAK TI. Mind you, Shaak Ti is one of my ultimate Star Wars crushes, but she could have at least been pictured running somewhere or closing a door or something equally menial. She doesn't even need lines, really. And Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar (I think that's who it was...?) and Saesee Tiin died way, way too quickly. Come on guys, you're on the Jedi Council and you can't even last 3 seconds against a Sith Lord? For shame! Something I really, really liked was the ending (and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way; the ending was truly gorgeous). Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru holding a baby Luke and looking out at the Binary sunset, and John Williams is composing his heart away...made me cry. |

I loved Episode 3. It was the best of the Prequel trilogy; two things I hate about it though. Darth Vader's, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" And Padme and Anakin's scene on the balcony. BLECH! Seriously, if you take out both of those things, I would be the happiest nerd ever.
