LAST TIME ON DRAGON BALL Z

"Come on, we're here!" Marisol said, immediately speeding off to the front doors of the huge building. A huge, dome-like structure situated over a lake, smack dab in the middle of the card-loving city that'd be impossible to miss. The hero girl whipped around and impatiently tapped her foot, waiting for Owain to get off the sidewalk and for Vicky to get off...of Owain.

"HURRY UP!"

Vicky scrambles to help Owain abck up, cheeks puffing out, "Sorry, thought you were sturdier.." then a light shrug, brushing herself off lightly and posing, "So! Who's bright idea was it to enter a tournament before fixing up my deck like we wanted? Mine? Allright, lets rock this!"

g-guards only, no strides, legion deck, boo yeah. tournament is going daown.

Owain got back up thanks to some help. He brushed the dirt of his cap and clothes, and straightened them. "Well, maybe we could buy some packs or cards from others real quick, but I don't actually know how much time we have left to sign up..." If she was playing some sort of Grade 1 Rush deck, it would've been okay to not have Strides, but as a normal deck... Strides would be very welcome for the team's chances of victory...

The building was just as spacious as it looked, featuring a massive recreational area full of fight tables, snack stalls, all kinds of merch, everything. It's like a Grand Festival, all the time! (if only grand festival was so lavish).

"Oh, chill out, guys. There's plenty of time until the qualifiers. We can work on your deck over the next few weeks." Marisol explained, strolling through the small crowds. "Besides, they sell packs and singles here. What kind of Vanguard place would they be without them?"

Unlike the mod playing her at the moment, Marisol was very far from afraid of just strolling up to the counter. A bit of playful back and forth with the nice girl, and she had herself a clipboard with the signup form.

"Once we've registered here, our team will be officially sanctioned by the Vanguard Association." She continued, licking the pen which was honestly kind of gross. She wrote down all the little tidbits, things like her name, her clan, and...that was it. Wow! Registering teams has never been easier!

She held the clipboard out for whoever dared to be the second name on it, right under the poorly scrawled "MARISOL FUEGO" in the Team Leader box.

Owain looked at the poorly written name. His Japanese was pretty good for a foreigner, but he couldn't tell all those letters in her name. Narusoru Fuoga? He didn't even know, it was that bad. Nonetheless he took the clipboard from her and the... pen... that was... drenched in some kind... of... water...? Gross. He quickly laid down the pen on the table and grabbed another from among them.

He then started writing his info in the ''Team Member 1'' box. "Owain Volkeet... Hmm... Tachikaze... Hm... That's it?" Owain asked surprised, "Woah! Back in the Netherlands we had these long lists where we had to write every card we used in our deck onto. This is so much easier..."

Owain held the clipboard and pen in front of Vicky, waiting for her to sign it next.

Vicky pulls out her red marker and- .. oh, a pen is probably waaaayyy better... She puts the required fields and nods, "I think you only do a decklist when you make it to the final rounds... Good luck us!"

"That's about it!" Marisol took the clipboard back to the lady, handing it to her. After a big of back and forth about her name ('MY HANDWRITING ISN'T THAT BAD!!!'), she came back with a handful of cards. They were basic ID cards with their names, clan symbols, and team name. Nothing fancy. She distributed them eagerly, and zipped around behind both of them.

"Alright, you two! Let's start training!" She pushed them both over to a nearby Fight Table. "I wanna see how you two deal with a less-than-ideal matchup! Especially you, Vivi!"

Getting pushed by Mari, Owain looked at Vicky. She was a Link Joker player... He pretty much disliked playing against Link Joker. Lock is such an annoying mechanic against clans like Tachikaze. Oh well, he knew he couldn't talk Marisol out of it, and it would give some training against other Link Joker units. Owain just swallowed his struggles and got ready for the fight.

He placed his deck, G-Zone and starter on the field, as he waited for Victoria to get ready. "Don't think I'll go easy on you." he said playfully.
